Location can’t be beat! Everything was within a quick walk! Our room was lovely. Staff was great as well! Only downside were the elevators - didn’t seem to work as efficiently as we’d expect. We would stay here again - even with the walk up and down to the 6th floor where our room was.

Good as a budget hotel but not at the price charge

Decent hotel but paper thin walls and excessive eco friendly steps which are wholly unnecessary.

The hotel also allow pets so not only can you hear movements next door and above but you also hear dogs barking.

Small room but clean and convenient

i was not used to such small rooms, but i guess this is the norm in Sweden. The room was tiny with no room to turn around when in the room with my wife. and just a small shelf for my clothes. Nevertheless, the room was comfortable and clean and in the heart o the city so close to everything including the trams, parks, canals and tourist boats. Breakfast was included and was generous and great. We had room near street which was very noisy on Friday night untiil 2:30 AM..

Convenient location. Hotel itself seems a bit old. Room was clean upon arrival, but as we would request cleaning, the sheets were never changed under our 8 days stay and the cleaner forgot her cleaning rags in the room more than once. The room itself is not designed with comfort in mind and decor is outdated for a hotel splat middle of Gothenburg. Breakfast was not bad, but always the same. All and all I would give this place a 7 out of 10.

Great Location!

The hotel and all of the amenities were perfect. Location was ideal, reception staff were great....with a quick and eaay check in. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices! Great price and would happily recommend!

Wonderful!

Family of 4 with kids - 12 & 14yr. Kids loved the bunkbed in the family room, and family room was same price as a regular room! :-) Free Welcome drink for the kids was appreciated! Staff was friendly and breakfast was impressive, so much to choose between including healthy options. And beautiful view of Avenuen from the breakfast lounge! Nice decor and great rooftop. We will be staying here next summer as well for sure! Can’t beat the location either, right in the heart of everything at Avenuen. Thank you!

- Asked for the room to be cleaned every day but one day we only got new towels without the cleaning (beds not made etc.)

Det var som att kliva in i en bastu i rummet. Gick inte att justera temperaturen så jag sov ingenting första natten, vilket man behövt inför tentaskrivningen på morgonen. Fick byra rum inför andra natten - där det var svalt att komma in och man kunde justera temperaturen själv.

Ved indtjekning havde personalet mere travlt med at snakke med hinanden end at tage sig af indtjekning ordentligt. Man følte sig lidt i vejen for dem. Ikke særligt serviceminded.
Morgen buffeten var virkelig god!
Meget larm fra gaden, mest fra sporvognene der hele tiden kørte lige uden for hotellet. Og så virkelig høj musik fra baren.

Der lå en brugt boxer shorts i en skuffe da vi ankom.
Jeg har aldrig oplevet at bo på et værelse med så meget støj fra gaden, og vi boede på 5. Sal. Der kørte biler forbi med så høj musik at man mærkede bas lyden, og de var vilde med at bruge hornet også. Det blev desværre en nærmest søvnløs nat. Det er jo ikke så meget hotellet kan gøre ved det, men en advarsel til gæster at bede om et værelse der ikke ligger ud mod hovedgaden i weekenden.

Tyckte marknadsföringen utav hotellet utifrån bilderna på hemsidan var missvisande.

Vi fick stå och vänta i 20 minuter på att checka in. Rummet var väldigt litet, jag slog i armbågen i handfatet när jag satte mig på toaletten. Dåligt utbud av bröd till frukosten. Jag som enbart äter bröd med smör och ost och ett glas juice, uppskattar när det finns mjuka fluffiga frallor. Nu var det bara bröd som var hårt och segt, så jag får ont i käkarna av att tugga.

Valde att söka efter inkluderad frukost. Trots detta var jag tvungen att köpa till frukost när jag väl var på hotellet för 179kr per person. Orimligt. Bott mycket på Hotel i Göteborg och aldrig varit med om samma sak. Hotels sökmotor måste visa rätt när man väljer kraven själv. Rummet var otorologt varmt och termometern var på spanska, så lyckades inte ändra. Fläkten lät också otroligt högt hela natten. Så inte en jättebra kombo. Sovit riktigt dåligt. Både jag och min sambo valde på hotels att det skulle vara en bädd, ändå fick vi separata sängar. Detta var ingen höjdare tyvärr. Riktigt synd.

Enda hotellet jag varit på som tar 200 kr extra för tidig incheckning när rummen redan är klara, lite snålt kan jag tycka.

Fick ett rum på våning 6 där förmodligen någon fläkt/ventilation lät väldigt högt konstant. Krävde öronproppar. Hade bett om ett rum som inte vätte åt Avenyn p g a oljud. Blev värre med detta rum än spårvagnar på Avenyn.
