It was a very basic set up but positive experience still. Room was fairly spacious (3 beds), bathroom and shower were really good, a/c worked well. But the setup was actually in the train station building - at least our room was. But it was a very quiet room - no train noise.

The breakfast was a voucher for a cafe nearby that was small and often busy - for a cappuccino and pastry. Since 2 of the 3 of us were gluten-free, that meant no breakfast. But otherwise it worked well for us as we traveled in the trains every day to the cinque terre!

The hotel has an excellent location 3 mins walk distance from the train station and make it easy to visit Cinque Terre. The room is very small and difficult to turn around. There is one chair for a twin room. The most difficult part is the bath room is was so small and so packed, the toilet seat is very high, the seat was not in the meddle. toilet is not in the same level as the shower and basin, it should have a yellow or white strip to cause people's attention to avoid an accident.

Upon checking in the front desk was very nice and helpful. It went downhill from there. Beds very uncomfortable, hard. Bathroom smelled of sewer which they try to cover up with incense. It took 15 minutes for hot water to get to the shower. Breakfast place was good, we could not find it the first day.
Other than that location is good, and easy to find. Based on the places I have stayed I think there are probably better options out there as this place was on the expensive side for what you receive.

Room was fine, but there was a strong smell from the restroom since we get there. It went away sometimes, but it was there most of the time, like waste water running below our restroom. We stayed in room 4.

On the other hand, wifi didn’t work at the beginning, then we found a way to connect to the right one (it was not the wifi network they initially said), but it was very weak.

Also, checking in was not very easy, we had to go to a building, then someone gave us instructions to go to another building and go to the second floor to find the reception.

Otherwise, the hotel was very well located and the room was clean, only the smell in the restroom.

Very (very) close to the train station. Trains can get a little noisy but we made it part of the charm!
Walking distance to all the restaurants and waterfront public spaces which is great for people travelling by train.
Pamphlets and guides of Cinque-Terre are all there in multiple languages.
Service was great abd the host was very helpful getting ourselves ready for Cinque-Terre.

The location of the hotel is spot on. The staffs are super accommodating and helpful. We stayed for a day only though we were booked for two days. If not for the unpredictability of the trains' schedules, we would have stayed the full two days so we could enjoy La Spezia to the fullest. Other than that, the accommodation was super and so reasonably priced.

First, the good. It’s close to the central train station. The plumbing worked and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. The breakfast was a mini version of a continental, coffee, juice and a pastry ( across the street in a tiny cafe The apartment building is located close to the walking district so food options are very good. The bad: It's in an old building where apartments have been carved out and upgraded( slightly). Since it WAS near the train station there was a LOT of foot traffic in front of our building. Our room was on the first floor and in order to keep cool we had to keep open the windows. The noise from people hanging out near the building and the vehicle noise in surrounding area didn’t subside until after midnight. By 6-7am the noise started back up. One other negative note is the building does not have an elevator so if you have large pieces of luggage you’d better be strong and in shape. If, I were to come back I might consider stay here, again but, I’m not sure the wife would want to. I’d give it a strong 3.5 stars out of 5.

Good place to stay, just don’t expect perfection.

It was okay. Shower door didn’t work very well and was difficult to get in. No elevator so be prepared to carry your stuff up all the way. Air conditioner worked nicely and the breakfast place was nice. The representative I was chatting with on WhatsApp was great and very helpful. Was not made clear that the hotel was a shared space, wasn’t the end of the world but the walls were very thin.

Convenient location for train travelers, as the apartment is in the same building as the train station. Our window faced the train tracks, so we had to keep it closed. Surprisingly, the window provided excellent soundproofing and kept the room quiet. We were not bothered by any noise at night.

The staff is friendly. Parking is a challenge in the area, so I suggest reserving a private parking space with the office in advance.

Free breakfast is provided off-site at a nearby café, which included a cup of coffee, a glass of juice, and a pastry.

The room is spacious enough for two people, and the bathroom is a good size as well. However, we noticed a terrible smell coming from the bathroom sewer (in the shower area) one night after it rained. It made the whole room stink. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a chance to report the issue to the office, as we checked out early the next morning. I hope the property addresses this problem.

Viola was great. Very friendly. Gave us good info. Our room was very clean, helped to reserve a private parking spot for us. Beds were very comfortable. It’s above the train station but we didn’t really hear the trains. It’s so convenient that we could take a train to and back from Cinque Terre right next door. Breakfast was included but had to go claim our breakfasts from the nearby cafe. It was good, too. Will stay there again next time if we visit Cinque Terre.

Great property! It is literally right at the train station (but surprisingly quiet), so it was super easy to hop on the train to Cinque Terre without the big prices of staying in one of the towns. It felt very modern and clean and was one of my bed night’s sleep on our two week trip! They were easy to communicate with and stored our luggage when we got there early. This was a great find!

I think the hotel should indicate that there are more than 50 steps to reach your room. Furthermore, when you reserve the address that is given is not the address where you will be staying. So the nice building shown is not where you will be staying. The information should be more transparent.

We had a great experience. The room was perfect for the four of us with plenty of space. The only true downside was there was three sets of stairs, and I didn’t realize that was no lift. I had recently had knee surgery and that was the only part of getting to the room that was difficult.

This is a great location in La Spezia with very good access to the train station to go to Cinque Terre. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and had what we needed. Breakfast was European continental and was at a nice little cafe right across the street. We really enjoyed our stay.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. As this apartment is right at the train station there was noise during the day, which dropped off at night. When closed, the windows deafened the noise. The staff were very helpful. We were close to restaurants, which were ok, but catered to tourists so weren’t great.
As a caution, if you use the local transit, make sure you get a tickets at a tobaccoist and validate it when you get on the bus. If you don’t it’s a 35€ fine.

Lovely hotel, extremely nice and clean, didn't know they had daily house keeping so was pleasantly surprsied when coming back from a long day that the room and been cleaned. Would book again if I had to.

Only drawback was lack of parking though the station nearby had €1/€1.50 hourly rate but adds up for long periods of time.

Decided to stay here vs Cinque Terre and was happy with the decision. Located right by train station. Room was pretty cramped with family of 4 and could easily hear neighboring rooms. Room was clean, AC was a little weak though so was a bit warm at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would probably give a 9 if I could given the value compared to neighboring towns. Despite some people reporting that La Spezia didn't seem safe I never got that impression and was travelling with 2 kids. Close to a lot of restaurants and conveniences. Breakfast was a voucher to a cafe across the street that was simple but delicious (choice of excellent pastry, juice and tasty espresso).

This place was immaculate. Not to mention quiet and safe, even though its very close to the train station. Its very important to follow directions given in email to find hotel. We didn't read it and ended up passing right by it and walking more than we had to. It is literally right as you walk out of the train station, so definitely pay attention to the directions given in email. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay.

Perfect location to visit Cinque Terre

While the room was located above the train station, it was very quite. The room was spatious for 2 adults and 3 teens. There was a large TV, it was clean. The location was perfect to discover Cinque Terre. The breakfast was provided in a bar a few meters from the station and was simple but very good. We were given lockers for our luggage to spend the day in Cinque Terre. The parking at the station was 35 eur for 21 hours.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The owner /person who greeted us was friendly, helpful and attentive. He gave us lots of local tips. It was a great location for exploring the Cinque Terra with about a one minute walk to the station. The beds were very comfortable with coffee/tea maker in the room. Highly recommend!

This accommodation was an excellent location for quickly and conveniently exploring the Cinque Terre as the rooms are directly above or apart of the train station. I initially thought they were across the street from the station (I may have misunderstood the information in when I booked). The first night was surprisingly quiet given the trains are right there. I loved that our room was so close after a long and hot day at the Cinque Terre. Unfortunately, my rating reflects the terrible experience we had with a group of young adults or teenagers making a ton of noise in the hallway at 12:30 am when we needed to be up the next morning at 5:30 to get ready for a 6:30 train departure.

Stopped here for a night to visit Cinque Terre. Staff were happy to answer plenty of questions, give recommendations and helpful tips about CT and also La Spezia and the surrounding area. Place is conveniently a stone’s throw from the train station, too. Would recommend!

We chose this hotel in La Spezia to be close to the train that we were planning to use for commute to Cinque Terre.
We ended up falling in love with this lovely cozy town: it felt like home.
The room was spacious, so was the bathroom. The parking was paid, but the hotel took care of the arrangements. Breakfast was at the cafe, 2 spots, nearby: we liked better the one on a round about.
