The villa is a lovely 17th century building, just five minutes stroll from the old town. The room was spacious, the bathroom modern and the bed was comfortable. Emilia was the most welcoming and helpful of hosts. And they've got parking, which is a definite bonus in Trogir.

History with a view.
Great to stay in a building that has been owned by the family since the 18th century. Right across a short bridge from Trogir, with a great view of Trogir. Room was quiet despite being under a flight path to the Split airport. Clean and comfortable. This is not a big full service hotel but it had everything I needed.

The room was very clean and the décor took me back in time to \"old Europe.\" I really enjoyed relaxing on the large terrace in the back after sight-seeing. Emilia and her husband were very welcoming and hospitable. Our room was ready even though we arrived at 10am. Her husband carried our bags up to our room which was on the top floor. The room had a great view over to the Riva and there was also a lovely terrace at that level overlooking the Marina. The room was very clean and comfortable. Emilia was also happy to let our friends leave their bags for the day before their evening flight- a kindness of which they were most appreciative. The Villa is an old Palace in a great location only minutes from the Old Town of Trogir. We were only there 1 night but would have happily stayed longer.

Villa Moretti is a charming, quaint hotel that is full of history and comfort. Our room was wonderfully appointed with antique furniture and a wonderfully comfortable king sized bed! The room is clean, comfortable and cool. The building is well maintained and simply delightful, with a balcony on the top floor where you can have a wonderful breakfast, with a variety of fruit, bread, meats and hot items like eggs and bacon. The view of Trogir is top notch! Villa Moretti made our visit to Croatia a delightful memory! The owner, Emilia, is very responsive and helpful in planning activities and tours, and made our stay carefree.

We stayed at the Villa Moretti for seven nights and what a wonderful place! It is a lovely historic hotel of only 5 bedrooms, beautifully located on the harbourside in Trogir. Our rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean and well-appointed with lovely old-style furniture. Emilia is the perfect hostess providing us with a warm welcome and with fantastic breakfasts on the terrace with fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, eggs, meat, cheese, bread and preserves. She is a mine of information on the local area and nothing is too much trouble. There is free parking available and its only a few minutes walk into the old town with its stunning sights and restaurants. Very highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is great if you want to explore Trogir, everything we needed was within walking distance. Plus it's only a 10 minute ride to the airport. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. It was a little noisy though, being so close to everything.

More of a house with rooms. Not a hotel. Nice bathroom and aircon. Fabulous spot with good view of Medieval city and only a short 5 minute walk away. Trogir has the added advantage of being about 10-15 minutes drive from Split airport without having to stay in Split which is huge. Trogir has charm and loads of places to eat. It is definitely worth a look at.

Villa Moretti is in a prime position in Trogir with views across the harbour to the old town, the historic buildings and marina. The standard of accommodation was very high, the rooms and bathrooms clean and comfortable in an interesting and historic building. Emilia could not have been more welcoming or helpful. She provided us with advice and information on how we may make the best of our first stay in Croatia. We made trips to Split by boat and joined an organised trip to Bosnia to see the Mostar bridge. We would recommend both. Croatia is a friendly country, most people spoke excellent English which was helpful and we will be returning.

We stayed here in June last year (finally got around to writing review) and it was our last stop on our Croatian road trip. We definitely saved the best until last. We requested a room with a view and were not disappointed. The room itself was tastefully furnished in antique style furniture, was very clean and has a lovely modern ensuite bathroom. We had views over the harbour and towards the old town. We received a very friendly welcome and were helped with our luggage. Breakfast was on the balcony next to our room and there was a very good choice available. We would definitely recommend this hotel. The family history is also very interesting.

Villa Moretti is a terrific option for Trogir. It has great views of the old town, rooms are spacious and clean. Also, the owners are extremely helpful, they arranged for a taxi to come at 6 a.m. and also prepared a \"to go\" breakfast bag for us to take to the airport. Villa Moretti is highly recommended.

Nah am Flughafen schlafen bedeutet auch startende und landende Flugzeuge zu hören.
Am diesem Samstag war auf der anderen Wasserseite Party angesagt...... aber irgendwann war dann auch Ruhe. Das Haus hat sehr viel Charme...... liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Mit schweren Gepäck sollte man gut gefrühstückt haben, wenn man - so wie wir - ganz oben ein Zimmer bekommen hat.
Ein schöner Ort, der es wert ist “ ergangen” zu werden.

Mycket bra läge och med fin utsikt mot den gamla city kärnan i Trogir. Hotellet och huset från slutet på 1700-talet ingav en mycket trevlig atmosfär. Enkel men bra frukost, mycket bra service av ägaren under vår vistelse. Rent och fräscht.

Vi bodde 3 nätter på Villa Moretti och det var det bästa val vi kunde göra. Fantastiskt läge med utsikt över Trogir, vatten och båtar. Fönsterluckor och bra fönster gjorde att vi sov gott, trots en ganska livlig gata utanför. Rummet, sängarna, toaletten, verandan utanför rummet där en härlig frukost serverades (med färska jordgubbar som pricken över i:et), den mycket trevliga och serviceinriktade värdinnan,ja....det blir helt enkelt toppenbetyg! Parkeringsplatsen fanns en liten bit därifrån och läget på andra våningen med många trappsteg syntes först som en nackdel för min man som är till åren kommen, men vi skulle inte tveka att återvända hit, för värdinnan var oss behjälplig med allt.
