I recommend this hotel. It is a small hotel, very cozy, the staff is very friendly, they make you feel very welcomed. It is walkable to the historic area. Also, there are many good restaurants, trattorias, and bars around. It is close to a Metro station, so if you use public transportation, it is very convenient.

Perfect pitstop when flying to/from Linate airport. The hotel is on a quiet street, has everything you would expect from a 2-3 star hotel. My room was comfortable and quiet, with windows giving to the back of the building. It was perhaps a little cold, but that's about it.

Hotel looks good from outside. Room size is OK. Hotel
room is old. Shower door is cheap. AC is control by the building not by room by room. about 10 min walk to train stn or bus stop. Staffs were good. breakfast e5 but we did not have a chance to eat there. stay a few nights. Overall just OK.

We stayed for a week and were never disappointed with anything. The staff were friendly and helpful in accommodating our language challenges and lack of familiarity with the city. Breakfasts were top notch! Service was of five star quality. Close to a grocery store, several restaurants and the METRO. We always felt comfortable in both the hotel and the neighborhood.

Lovely hotel

This is a hidden little gem of a hotel! The staff are really helpful and accomondating - five star service! The room cleanliness was very good despite the hotel being a bit dated. Simple but sufficient breakfast, they can make you a nice cappucciono and fresh croissants etc are available. Only downside for us was that sound isolation is not great, especially with a room on the ground floor we could hear movement from the reception and breakfast area early as it's not separated by a door. The location is nice, near S train and tram which worked for us, it seemed a metro station was being built nearby too.

Great, cozy, inexpensive hotel that presents as a bed in breakfast. One block from the train station in a quaint neighborhood. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a no frills, clean, convenient place to lay your head with complimentary breakfast.

Don't take the room near the reception area

The hotel is very nice. Good sizeable room, good value for money, clean, attractive furnishing. The only negative point apart from the fact it's rather far to walk from the centre was the room's position. It was literally on the ground floor right behind the reception so you could clearly hear comings and goings all the time and late into the night. Not good for sleeping after a long day's travel and work. Choose this hotel by all means (it's worth far more than a 2star) but make sure they don't put you in one of the ground floor rooms near the reception.

Don't let the 2 star fool you.. More like a 5 Star

Great hotel close to Duomo in a perfect location to see what Milano has to offer. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great.

Stayed for a short break although the room was small it ticked all the boxes for cleanliness and efficiency, bed was very comfortable and the air con a relief after arriving late due to a delayed flight. The continental breakfast was a perfect start to the day and our host very helpful & thorough in attending to our needs a pot of tea always a welcome sight. It can however get busy though so you may find yourself trying to shuffle between other guests to get to your cereals or croissants in such an enclosed space but we were happy with what was available.

Location wise it did feel a little bit out-of-the-way from the central areas and the metro system with it's delays did cause a few problems but as a hotel I can't fault the staff who were excellent in making sure our adventure was an enjoyable one. Milan is certainly a City we both really cherished and overall the experience a memorable one.

Small hotel aprox 30mins walk from the centre

The staff were polite and helpful. The room was on the smaller side, but was neat and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. Some signs of age to the fixtures & fittings but otherwise ok.

would not stay here again

The room and the hotel condition overall were ok. Except for one annoying problem we had with the shower. There is enough hot water for a 3-5 min shower and that's it. You need to wait for the boiler to reheat water. Forget about washing your hair, you'll be rinsing it in cold water. The staff were friendly and apologetic, but they couldn't do anything about it.

Great Stay - Great Staff - Convenient Location

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Delizia! The service could not have been better! The staff was more than helpful and friendly. Likewise, the attended breakfast service was the perfect start to each day! This hotel is very convenient to public transportation and all of the points of interest in Milan - it is also very easy to get to/from the airports and Central Station (Trains). The immediate area around the hotel is terrific for enjoying the everyday life in Milan.

Not a good choice

This hotel cost more than its worth. Small room with small bathroom. The bright orange-coloured bed and curtains made matters worse. Meagre breakfast in the morning failed to appease my disgruntled wife. Wi-fi worked fine though. And the staff was helpful. I would not probably want to live here again.

Had a wonderful long weekend in Milan!

This was our first time visiting Milan. Hotel Delizia was very reasonably priced, although we knew it wasn't in the heart of the city. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms, the exceptional courteousness of the lobby personnel (Julio was extremely helpful and gracious with us!). It is about a 20-30 minute walk to the Duomo, depending on traffic, how fast you walk. I didn't find the distance bothersome at all, as long as it wasn't raining! Overall, I would stay here again, it served our needs, was clean, and the front desk was very helpful to us. Extremely reasonable pricing for a large European city.

I booked my room at the Hotel Delizia on account of the high customer rating, and inexpensive room rate. The location was easy for the taxi to find, the hotel staff was courteous and professional, my room was ready immediately and was clean and comfortable. This was a welcome reception after my tiring day of travel. This was my first time in Milan, the hotel employees were more than happy to help me find my way around, from directions to the public transportation, where to get money from an ATM, and suggestions on where to go for a good meal close by, a historical site seeing, or where to find the nightlife. The breakfast in the mornings were just right and served by the staff, and there was always someone available if you wanted a cup of coffee or something from the bar. I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Delizia, I will definitely be staying there again, and would recommend it to anyone who does not want to spend a lot of money on a simple hotel room.

Anniversary Celebration in Milan

We selected Hotel Delizia for it relative proximity to Aeroporto Milano Linate as well as Centro. A subway stop is just a block away and taxi service is prompt. We wanted a smaller hotel in a residential neighborhood for a quieter environment and Hotel Delizia fulfilled our expectations. The breakfast was appropriate for continental breakfasts. The room and hotel in general was clean and the staff was helpful answering our questions.

The staff was pleasant and helped us with our luggage (no elevator) they also recommended a very good restaurant just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The room size would be adequate if it didn't have so much furniture. Why have 2 chairs and a small table in front of the dresser??? My husband was excited that it had the largest shower of anyplace we had stayed in Italy but was soon disappointed...the water barely got warm and the water pressure was quite low. The bed was comfortable and we did not hear noise from the street below. Breakfast was very good. The tv had a couple of English speaking channels which was nice. Overall the room was ok for our one night stay in Milan.

Nice, clean hotel in Milan - good value

I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions. Both times everything went very well. The hotel is clean, the staff is helpful, the breakfast is good. There are convenient city bus lines from main train station to the hotel and from the hotel to the main sights in central Milan. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and residential.

I visited with my wife and a friend, in general we wouldn't fault the hotel and the staff on the whole were very good. (This is particularly true when you consider most persons we met in Milano were indifferent bordering on plain rude in bars and restaurants and shops). If you need to get to the Fierra RHO then this hotel is more than suitable with the station close by and direct to the exhibition, about 4/5 stops. more on trains below**

The location for the city center is walkable (20/25mins) but a short walk will get you to a tram straight to the Duomo. There is an excellent Pizzeria nearby which serves Fresh Buffalo Mozzarella and it shouldn't be missed some of the other eateries nearby were so so. This particular Pizzeria( Ristorante LA Taverna) was recommended by the hotel staff.

The only downsides of the Hotel were that in the mornings we could hear the water being turned on ad running in the pipes from an adjacent room which didn't appear connected with the Hotel we couldn't hear anything from our friends room which was also adjacent to us. So the rooms aren't properly soundproofed if that is in an issue for others.
Breakfast was fair, everything is fresh and the coffee is mostly very good depending on who makes it! but on two occasions they had run out of pastries which on the second occasion we made clear it wasn't acceptable and the staff arranged for fresh pastries to be made. They were accommodating and on request made boiled eggs also.

Given the prices at the time this was good value for us simple and comfortable and it would suit anyone without high expectations but don't want to be disappointed. I would stay there again and I hope they succeed.

Back to trains:
One change at Garibaldi will enable you to pick up the Malpensa express, but be warned we had 0mins notification of which platform the train would arrive on (either 13 or 20 -both opposite ends of the station!) despite waiting 1 hour for the train on a Sunday having just missed the previous one, which resulted in a mad run with luggage to catch it. It would pay to travel back to Central and pick up the Malpensa there if it isn't displaying which platform..

Very helpful staff. Very hard bed. No duvet and the blankets were very old and seemed dusty and dirty. The air conditioning wasn’t working, and we had to have a whole debate about whether it was necessary. We booked the hotel to have that specific option, so that was a dealbreaker. The minibar wasn’t working, so our food we brought spoiled. We wouldn’t have brought it, if we didn’t know, we had a minibar. So the options we chose the hotel from, were not available.
Staff was very friendly and did their very best.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel gebunden.Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, sehr gut anhand der Bilder zu sehen,aber nichtsdestotrotz haben wir uns dort wohl gefühlt, da das Personal alles erdenkliche getan hat ,damit es uns dort gut geht .
Man kann ja von einem zwei Sterne Hotel nicht viel erwarten.Das Frühstück für Italienische Verhältnisse total in Ordnung.

Två stjärnor men en dubbel pärla.

Vi är gamla kunder på detta hotell och återkommer med glädje. Mycket rent, bekväma sängar och moderna renoverade badrum. Personalen är jättehjälpsam. Området är lugnt och tyst med goda bussförbindelser till centralstationen (var 10 min).
