It was very disappointing and the worst stay ever when you see everything on website is lovely such as view and room condition. However, the truth hurts because I experienced below...

1. staff was unhelpful since he asked me to carry my back here and there since he had a motorbike to travel around for servicing.
2. the toilet leaked horribly
3. the curtain was broken and left there behind the sink. I felt uncomfortable at night
4. dusk found and water glasses, toilet rolls are put unordered
5. the aircon was leaking and wet the floor
6. the pool area was horrible because it looked like it had never been cleaned and managed

Don’t let beautiful photos fool you.
Don’t let the word Covid-19 for excuse to run the business because your business depends on customer trust.

ps. I still have photos and everything to prove that my bad experience was true and I will keep them to teach me to be thoughtful when it comes to book a reservation.

The view was spectacular. Everything else about this resort was less then desirable. The entire resort was in dyer need of updates, construction to rebuild things like the docs, stairways, etc and the amenities (pool, pool towels, lounge chairs, etc) were not at all organized or up to standard. For how expensive it was to stay a night (50$) it was not worth it. The location was okay, you could not walk here from the pier, you’d need a scooter most definitely. Because it was on a hillside it was exhausting walking ten minutes up or down each time we needed to go to our hut.

The only positives about this place we’re the view and the workers were very nice. Besides that the place is very run down, they have an ant infestation problem all around the resort, our bathroom smelt like sewage the entire time, air conditioner only went as low as 18°c so we were always hot, lizards in the room, the walk from the room to leave the resort was brutal (and this is coming from two 20 year olds). Overall would recommend staying in the Sairee beach area, more convenient location

Worst stay of our trip

Firstly, do not stay here if you are not fit and are wanting to leave the hotel to explore etc. The climb to the top of the hill is incredibly steep and there are safety concerns with makeshift wooden stairs and pipes and other trip hazards everywhere. The hotel has a golf cart which you can use for check in and check out only and the staff will carry your bags for you. I think the hotel should offer a service in between these times as it really was an uncomfortable walk to the top.
We had a seafront hut which looked lovely from the outside and had an amazing view of the ocean. The inside was below basic. Air conditioning was poor, the bed and pillows were hard which made sleeping troublesome and we had ants and other insects freely roaming around. A gecko seemed to live within the roof of our hut and was very loud, also not helping the sleeping situation. The hut didn’t seem very secure and we had trouble locking our door.
There are several relaxation areas around the resort which have cosy chairs and amazing views of the scenery. The pool area was fine and was a nice place to relax for a while. The pool water was not as clean as it could be but it’s a sea water pool. Pool bar menu was okay, but they should add more vegetarian options and the staff didn’t understand what vegetarian was. Terrible WiFi everywhere.
Overall, the worst two night stay of our holiday. Had we not been on a budget I would have left to stay elsewhere. The whole place is tired and needs an overhaul.

overall nice stay, and good experience. Free pick up and drop off from pier which was great! stayed here for 6 nights in a sea view hut the view was amazing. At first they gave us a garden view but absolutely no issue changing it! We read reviews about the steps and thought ‘we’re young and fit we will be fine’ but was a struggle in day heat. Feeling much fitter after stayer here though. Room was basic but okay, expect creepy crawleys your in a hut on an island! You’ll need a moped to explore island if not about 15minute walk to sairee beach.

The resort has an amazing position that offers breathtaking views on the sea! The small huts are comfy and cozy and the staff is very kind and helpful! Of course it is suitable for people who are willing to climb few steps up and down, but it is totally worth it! You will need to rent a motorbike to reach the centre of Saitree, just few minutes away. Only thing I would suggest to improve is the facilities maintenance: the resort is beautiful, however you can see the sign of time on it and also there is a bit of trash in the nature that should be removed. Breakfast is ok, quite simple compared to the price. Overall very much recommended!!!

Perfect view and helpful staff

I stay in hillside for 2 nights during Feb , we got room just located above swimming pool with perfect view overlooking the hotel pier . U can go to nang yuan island from hotels pier (about 5min ) by long tail boat , just need to book from hotel reception . Hotel provide facilities which is very reasonable price compare to others : kayaking tb200 , mask tb200 full day. There’s a small private beach area ,and you can snorkelling, the water is very clear . Hotel peacefully located uphill and Tony can assist you on renting a scooter to travelling around . there’s lot stairs you need to walk to your room but no complain because u can get perfect sea view , room is clean , the water pressure is abit low but acceptable , sunset perfect view when you dining at seashore restaurant! Special thanks to receptionist (Tony) for all the helpful information and suggestion . Thanks Koh Tao hillside for the perfect moment in Koh Tao !

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the setting was very pretty. However, food and drink is expensive compared with other restaurants/bars in Koh Tao, and the mattress in our room was on the extreme end of 'firm'.

Incredible beachside bungalows, rustic jungle vibe

What you are getting is a hillside view of the ocean, which is no doubt the best view in town. This is a traditional bungalow style room that is very private and overall pretty comfortable. Perfect for an adventurous family or couple looking to escape from the busy traffic of Koh Tao.

The room was less than we expected for the money. There were much better rooms around Koh Tao for much cheaper, but the view was amazing. If u only care about a view this is for you...if not stay away. There were bugs in the room and on the bed, leaks, and holes in the floor. The gecko in our room was cute and convenient for catching the bugs, but yeah....

Awesome hotel away from the crowd!

We booked this hotel based on past reviews, price and amenities. It did not disappoint! The pool was a little merky but the water is steps away! The view from the deluxe bungalow was perfect! There is great snorkelling at the 'beach' area (quite small) and the morning breakfast was delicious. The room itself was a bit rustic but for the price it worked great. Most bungalows on the island are the same in regard to condition. The room was situated on the side of a mountain so getting to and from your room can be a little sweaty but there is a golf cart that drives through the resort that you can catch a ride on. The lounging areas found throughout the resort are set up beautifully and overall the resort was very peaceful, would definately book again.

We ended up staying in 3 different rooms over 4 nights because of deficiencies or problems with the rooms. They did compensate us with a free lunch, but the whole place is in need of a lot of maintenance to bring it back up to standard.

Great views just aren't enough

We stayed at the Hotel for 4 nights at the end of our trip and it was generally an all round failure. We stayed in the Deluxe Seaview Villa and there was nothing Deluxe about it - extremely basic, cracks in the walls, wifi didnt work in the room and the kicker - our bed sheets were filthy.
The main front desk worker was ok but generally not very helpful. We soon discovered there was work being done on the resort so outside our room became a worksite with building noises and lots of people coming and going. The Bar that was advertised was closed down and looked like it had been for awhile and the food at the restaurant was disappointing.
To add to this our shower didnt drain properly and would overflow onto the floor outside. In the last 2 days we actually had no water in the shower. We were told 'a pipe broke' but had no one come to look at it or offer any help. We heard many others complaining about the same thing.
Lastly they were really disorganised - the 2 free shuttles into town were always late and often too full to take everyone. So some people had to walk as it didnt come twice.
To top it off on our last day we waited for the shuttle to our ferry along with 6 or so other guest and it was almost an hour late. We got the impression off the other cguests they were very upset and the staff and manager were just ignoring complaints until the people left. We ended up with 8 of us shoved into the back of a ute with all our bags racing for the ferry. Not a good way to end.

Could have been so much better

What I liked:
1. It's just past the end of Sairee beach means it's nice and quiet.
2. The swimming pool is nice.
3. Relaxing by the pool and watching the sunset after playing all day was nice.
4. Staff were generally friendly and helpful.
5. Free pickup at the pier.
6. With a little negotiation I was able to get a free ride back to the pier when it was time to leave.
7. Food at the restaurant was pretty good.
8. I forgot a hat and phone charger in my room. Reception said they will mail the hat to me in Ao Nang.

What I didn't like:
1. The rooms are small and somewhat rundown. It wouldn't be a problem but this place is expensive for the size and quality of the room.
2. A couple times the door to my room was unlocked after being cleaned by the housekeeping staff. Luckily nothing was stolen while I stayed there.
3. The staff member watching adult movies on their cellphone while sitting on the stairs on the way to the pool was awkward.
4. See #8 above. Of course my phone charger was nowhere to be found.
5. The bathroom is not very nice and has the type of faucet found in public toilets which shuts off automatically. I've never seen those in a hotel before.
6. The curtain for the bathroom door was a little weird.

WOW!!!

It was my first time in Koh Tao and I wanted a hotel with a nice view and where I could see the sunset, this was THE hotel!!! I had my own private cabana on a cliffside with a beautiful view, very clean, great location and the MOST AMAZING FOOD!!! It was the best food I had for diner in all Thailand and the prices were excellent. The breakfast which is included is okay, not super. They also have this super cute pool bar, open late with amazing music and the best view ever!!! They are transportation for free to the pier offered by the hotel. For the price I paid, this hotel was AMAZING!!!

Koh Tao beautiful view!

Had a great time there. Stayed with my girlfriend, had the Seaview bungalows although my was a bit blocked by the coconut tree. Still saw the ocean. Awesome views especially from the breakfast balcony. Room had a small wet smell and it's a very hilly resort. They have a golf kart to drive you to some point but the rest of the way you have to walk. Not for unfit. I had a small motorbike accident at Koh Tao and couldn't walk so the hills didn't help at all, but if otherwise I really enjoy the stay there and the staff were great , I would recommend a stat here!

We did not get the room we booked and payed for!

We booked a delux double bungalow for three nights but on arrival we were told the hotel was fully booked and we were given a sub standard shack with twin rooms and promised an upgrade the plowing day. The upgrade never cam so we decided to check out the following morning after two nights. We booked the transfer ferry with the hotel who told us to wait in the room and leave the luggage outside for collection the following morning and wait for collection. Collection never came and we ended up getting a taxi with only 10 minutes to spare for the ferry ride and cost us an extra 700 baht. We were never offered any refund or room upgrade and we only stayed two nights in a very poor bungalow ended up paying WAY too much for substandard not what we booked bungalows.

We loved our sea view! We could open the balcony windows and see and listen to the ocean. The bad thing was that there was not hot water and we asked four times for it to be fixed and they didn't do anyrhing about it. At the end they didn't give us any kind of discount for their lack of service.

Just ok.

This is a difficult place to stay. Be prepared for a LOT of steps that will make you sweat before breakfast lunch and dinner. No phones in the rooms means a struggle to do anything. The shuttle bus is not frequent enough and the whole experience was just a little bit like hard work. We're only 30 by the way. The food is ok and the cocktails are good. Great sunset and snorkeling straight off the pier. Of you're on honeymoon I would suggest that there are better places to stay.

i love the view there and how i could relax cos u cant really go nowhere except pay for extra cost for taxi to other beaches. but u could enjoy wonderful moment near the sea with small path to swim, lots of fishes but no corals and reels they are all dead and the water was quite full of junk.. sadly i like that place very much but they need to maintenance the beach there better. You can rent snorkel for 150 with flooding shirt ... the food was fantastic but too expensive. You can actually have no other choice but eat there cos u cant reach other restaurant within like half an hour by walking... Nothing much to do but just to enjoy staying at the hotel thats all. it worth staying for the view but too expensive for small bungalow and a 14inch TV with no cable and mini refrigerator and a bed.

a steep climb but get a bike...worth the sunset!

Thia hotel is five mins on a bike from the beach...ok it has some steep hills getting to resort and whole resort is built on an incline but the sun set views are the best ive ever seen. It has a relaxation viewing room with rocking chains where u can watch the sun go down. The infinity type pool overlooks the sea and altho at the bottom of the hill its very beautiful. Our room was cleaned everyday and altho slightly small it had everything you need.

Steep Cliffside, Treehouse huts

Really enjoyed Koh Tao Hillside but it has very , very steep stairs so every time you leave your hut its a stairmaster workout. D26 has the hardest beds known to man. they have no business calling those beds. We would have stayed another week, but the rock hard beds hurt us and couldn't sleep. and the room was soooo small, literally one place to put your backpack. we pushed two single beds together . the staff were awesome, the location stunning. the food was good, drinks were delicious. Happy hour 2 for 1 fun, fun, fun. . Snorkling insane fish everywhere. Pool closes at 6pm and the water was so pure the bugs could drink from it. not good from a cleanliness standpoint? more chlorine please? Breakfast buffet each day was good, balcony above was 5 star outdoor living room, so beautiful and relaxing. huts had a mini bar fridge, awesome. Air conditioning awesome. We would come back to softer beds. Really great place. Honeymoon potential for sure.

An Island Paradise

My time at The Koh Tao Hillside Resort was without a doubt one of the finest holiday experiences of my life.

My favorite feature, first and foremost, was the location of the resort itself. The establishment itself was unique, in that it had actually been built into the landscape, incorporating boulders and cliffs into the actual architecture. We could literally walk into the ocean from our bedrooms at anytime of day and go snorkelling. As an Australian, I love to swim and explore coastal reefs - the amount of sea life here was breath-taking. With crabs, sea slugs and fish of all kinds - I've never seen a resort like this in my life

The staff were all attentive and welcoming - they truly make you feel relaxed and at home. Not to mention, they run a high quality restaurant and a top notch bar (all at decent price too). There's nothing like watching the sun set over the ocean with a delicious cocktail in your hand and fine food in your belly.

I recommend this place to anyone staying in Koh Tao, whether it be for a romantic get away, a scuba journey or a trip with friends. Definitely the highlight of my trip.

For the fit

It's quite a nice lace to stay. The staff are really lovely and friendly. Check in was good with a free pier pick up, welcome drink and refreshing towel. Our cabin was basic but sufficient with a good veranda to sit out on. The pool and pool area is really nice I enjoyed swimming here. Food was expensive but nice. Communal lounge area had an excellent view and could be a relaxing place to sit. The main issue is you can't walk I between any of these places without a strenuous up or downhill walk. There is a golf buggy to carry your luggage and yoursf if you request it at certain times (no phone in the room you'll have to find a member of staff - but they're quite often walking around). Not many people were staying here so it felt a little like a ghost resort at times! To get to the main eating/drinking/shopping area it's an up and down 20min walk or rip off taxi ride for Thai standard (£3 each). There is a free shuttle 4 times a day which coincides with boats coming to the pier. I would recommend booking 1 or 2 nights and then deciding if you want to stay longer or move. We booked 3 then moved to the amazing but more expensive cabana resort.
In summery: great views, great pool, great staff. Compulsory excersise, expensive food and mini bar, and a bit out of the way.

The location isn't bad if your looking to be 15mins outside of town. Beautiful view. The pool is cute with a small beach next to it. The food is not good at all. Not the cleanest place I've stayed, but not bad enough to move. Very steep hills.

The Hillside resort...

Our initial experience was the reception hut which was ok, maybe a little charming but the reception staff definitely need to be trained better and raise their game to give the tourist a nicer experience when arriving and departing from this resort. The girls on the desk weren't particularly good and their grasp of english poor.

We were then taken by a golf cart down a very steep incline and round the houses to find our chalets. Quite a scary experience but the porters were very friendly and helpful.

Chalets were very basic, too basic really with few mod cons. Bed was comfortable (very hard) though and air con unit good. We had a nice view from our balcony as well. Common areas were really good. Pool is lovely, two restaurants are good and the seating area above the top restaurant is very good. Restaurant staff were very nice and helpful.

Biggest problem for us was the hills between your chalet and wherever you went. Very tough in the heat! By the time we had walked back up to the reception hut we were dripping. Can't really do much about this though so maybe the resort should focus on upgrading the accommodation and improving the technique of the reception staff. This would go along way to making this resort much better value.

After all that we kind of quite liked it but we wouldn't go back.

Nice hotel with amazing ocean views

This hotel has great bungalows all with great views of the ocean. The restaurant sits over the water and is very romantic (and its decently priced!). The pool area is right by the water and has a great sun deck. Overall we had a great experience.

Beautiful, tropical and steep surroundings

Okay, clean but small bungalows with beautiful seaview (that we got upgraded to for free, booked \"garden view\"). Lovley pool, a small beach area but a bit off on location. It is walking distance to sairee beach but with very steep hills and dark road at nighttime. Since the hotel restaurang, the bungalows and the pool are placed on a hillside, there is a lot of walking in steep stairs and hills, but if you dont mind that, this is a very nice place to stay. Very tropical and cool surroundings.

My partner and I laughed when we read people complaining about the walk to the hotel when we knew it was less than a km to Sairee Village, we were not laughing when we got there. Koh Tao hillside is literally perched on the edge of a cliff, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING un-interuppted veiws of the ocean. BUT I have climbed ladders less steep than some of the hills we had to climb not just to get there, but to get from our room to reception/restaurant/pool/out of the hotel. We are both quite fit people but after 2 days we were exhausted. Seems like there is a bit of work going on, our bungalow was one of the smaller older ones and is probably needing a bit of a facelift in the bathroom and was VERY small. This is a lovely place but would suggest staying in one of the newer bigger bungalows closer to reception. Getting to Sairee Village is only about a 15min walk downhill/ 20min uphill. Suggest either hiring a moped or taxi service. Walked it twice and was knackered :)

Really great stay!

Really beautiful hotel! The staff were really nice, the food was great and it's a super quick long tail boat ride to Nang Yuan Island, which is a must-see! The sunsets were incredible and the sitting areas and restaurant provide a really pleasant place to view them. Nice sunning deck and pool and there's also a tiny beach if you want to get in the water. It's a close taxi to town. For what we paid for we were very pleased with our stay and I would love to go back again. Koh Tao is amazing!

The resort needs maintenance. Pictures shown on the site are at least 15 years old. When you rent a motorbike for 150bath per day you can travel easily to the village for bars and restaurants.

Wir haben das Hotel wegen seiner tollen Lage zum Meer hin gebucht. Einzigartige Aussicht aus dem Bungalow, Restaurant und Frühstücksareal...EIN TRAUM!!!
Das war es dann leider auch....
Die Anlage ist sehr runter gekommen, Pflege und Wartungsarbeiten sind dringend notwendig. Am fehlenden Personal kann es nicht liegen, es waren über den gesamten Zeitraum kaum mehr als fünf (5) Gäste gleichzeitig in der Anlage.
Jede Betonstufe (davon gibt ein paar hundert) ist einzigartig :-)
Die Holztreppen verrotten- bin selbst einmal eingebrochen!
Nägel stehen heraus, Geländer sind lose!!
In den Bungalows tropft es vom Dach her auf die Zwischendecke, diese schimmelt!
Meine Matratze glich einseitig mehr einer Hängematte.
Preise für die Zimmer völlig überfordert, Getränke und Essenspreise am oberen Ende der Preisskala auf der Insel...selbst für deutsche Verhältnisse ist die kleine Dose Bier mit 3 EURO!!! aus der Minibar überteuert.
Frühstück ist sehr Ideen los und einseitig. Zur Auswahl steht Omelett, Rührei oder Spiegelei...eine Reissuppe (als Geschacksträger diehnt Pfeffer !!) ENDE...
Am fünften Tag fragt uns tatsächlich der Kellner...warum wir immer das selbe essen...? Diese THAIS muss man einfach lieben!!
Fazit: Für zwei, drei Nächte mag es okay sein...länger ist eine Zumutung. Ein Scooter ist dringend notwendig, die Tipps der Dame an der Rezeption zwecks Vermietung dieser Gefährte waren sehr gut! Auf Koh Tao ist sehr viel von Abzocke die Rede, Taxipreise sind unglaublich teuer...Mafia!

Nous sommes arrivés et c’est très abrute pour descendre aux chambres, l’air climatisé coulait partout sur le plancher il avait une marre d’eau. La salle de bain était très vieille et finalement le lit extrêmement dure !

리조트에서 수영하고 쉬고 조용히 시간 즐기기에 아주 좋습니다. 돌아다니는 것 싫어하면서 조용히 지내시는걸 좋아하는 분들에게 강추입니다. 뷰가 아주 좋아서 그냥 베란다에 앉아서 시간 보내기 좋고, 바다 수용도 바로 내려가면 깨끗한 바다로 바로 연결 됩니다. 단 물이 깊으니 수영못하시면 구명조끼를 입고 수영하시고, 리조트 앞바다에서 스노클도 가능합니다. 수영장과 쉬는 곳이 있어서 안에서 즐기기 참 좋습니다. 단 시내에서는 조금 거리가 있으니 밖에 나가서 로컬 음식을 먹으려면 오토바이를 빌려서 다니셔야 합니다. 참 리조트에서 낭유안이 가까우니 카약으로 다녀오기도 좋습니다.

Жили в номере Делюкс с отличным видом на море. Впечатления от отеля средние, физически устарел, но когда-то был неплох. Еда дорогая и невкусная. Ресторан посетили один раз по приезду и больше в него не ходили. В номерах чисто, горячая вода, кондиционер, фен, туалетные принадлежности-все есть. Гольф-кары ездят нерегулярно, много ходили по горам пешком. Но это не вызывало особых проблем и для здоровья полезно. В целом, все неплохо, но дороговато для уровня отеля, особенно, если учесть, что он расположен уединенно в далёкие от цивилизации.

Das Hotel war soweit in Ordnung. Es liegt an einen relativ steilen Hang, man kann aber einen Shuttle Service in Anspruch nehmen. Die Zimmer waren dann doch eher \"spartanisch\" eingerichtet und ausgestattet.

Жили в самом дорогом номере Делюкс, но номер оказался очень скромным: старая входная дверь, пол в ванной комнате без плитки, просто покрашенный бетон, в номере даже не было сейфа. Спуск к воде с пирса очень неудобный: старая ржавая поломанная лестница без поручней. TV не показывал ни один канал, wifi тоже очень слабый, постоянно вылетал. В ресторане не понравилось, все что ни заказывали, было невкусно и дорого. В бассейне не рискнули плавать, потому что вода была очень грязная, как в болоте, зеленого цвета. К крутым спускам и подъемам были готовы, поэтому быстро привыкли. Самым главным плюсом этого отеля является шикарная природа, прозрачное море, окружающий пейзаж и очень красивые закаты. Так что, если вы - романтик, и на определенные бытовые мелочи вам наплевать, то вам здесь понравится.

Bor i ett fantastikt rum med en fantastikt utsikt, frukosten är det bästa med hotellet. Du kan snorkla rakt utanför piren och njuta av solnedgångar. Bra pris för rummet.

Fler i receptionen bör inte jobba där, inte heller golfbilschaufören. Bäddning av sängarna och nytt shampo är den dagliga städningen.

Fitness ist angesagt. Da das hotel in einem berg liegt muss man innerhalb des resort egal wohin man möchte immer berg auf und berg ab gehen was sehr anstregend sein kann. Lage ist okay. Es ist etwas ruhiger. Man kann in 15 min in die Stadt laufen, wobei der weg evenfalls ordentlich auf und ab geht. Aufenthalt oder alternativ für 200-100 bat pro Person sich fahren lassen je nachdem wie voll das Taxi wird. Roller ist am optimalsten. Das Bungalow War okay. Aber man merkt schon dass die Bungalows etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind. Der die bucht ist toll nur auf dem kleinenen Strand lagen Scherben, daher einfach den Steg benutzen. Die Aussicht ist wundervoll. Das Frühstück OK. Das essen und trinken sonst sehr überteuert und schmeckt nicht.

O chalé/quarto é simples mas com o mínimo necessário. Café da manhã bom. Isolado. Ideal para quem procura sossego. Piscina e área comum necessitam de renovação, mal conservados. Como o carrinho de golfe na maioria das vezes não está funcionando ou disponível, seria interessante o resort prover carregadores para as malas/mochilas. No geral nossa hospedagem foi boa.

Nice hotel, bad service.

The hotel in itself is OK, you get what you pay for.

Dont expect any service if things go bad, which it did for us. We booked a more expensive room and was given the worst bungalow. No compensation, a small discount and they were not helpful at all.

Location was ok, quite far from the pier, but as long as you rent vespas, it's good.

DON'T GO HERE.

Don't go here. The standard bungalows are really dirty, haven't been proparly cleaned in months. Small rooms and bad smell. Wi-fi didn't work in bungalow. Staff not service minded at all, animals inside the room. Staff was very sick and still went to work, sneezed all over. Very expensive resturant. Pool was dirty. When the straff said they where gonna pick us up in \"2 minutes\" we had to wait 30 min. It takes 15 minutes to walk to town where resturants/bars are. Steep hills. Breakfast was good though and the ocean was nice to swim in from the bridge.

Bungalowi oli monen portaan päässä respasta, emme suosittele henkilöille joilla on vaikeuksia liikkua. Osa porrastasanteista kaipaisi korjausta. Bungalowi oli rakennettu bambusta/ puusta, joten muutamia ötököitä löytyi myös sisältä. Henkilökunta avuliasta, golfkärryllä olisi päässyt respan, huoneen ja rantaravintolan välillä. Ravintolan hinta/ laatusuhde ok. Kuljetus satamaan onnistui ilmaiseksi. Mahtava merinäköala seaside bungalowista. Aamiainen hyvä; buffetissa toastia, leikelettä, omelettia tilauksen mukaan, kahvit, mehut, teet, nuudelit, hedelmiä ja mysliä.

Erittäin jyrkkämäkinen hotellialue ja mopon tarvii että pääsee kylille. Kaksi kertaa päivässä ilm.kuljetus kylille, huom. jos kyytiin mahtuu kun vievät lähteviä asiakkaita laivarantaan.
Taxi todella kallis saarella, hotlan ja sairee beachin väli noin 1,5km ja hinta 400tbh. Esim. bangkokista ajaa lentokentälle samalla rahalla, matkaa sentään n.30km. Hotelilla ilmainen haku laivarannasta, katselet vaan niitä kyltin heiluttajia kun tuut laivasta.

Beautiful views and steep hills

The location of the resort has s great, really nice sunsets and beautiful views over the ocean from the bungalows! It is very steep and and a lot of walking so if you have a problem with that then this is not a good place. The location is rather far from the centre, we rebted motorcycles. Taxi was 100 baht/person to the centre where the good restaurants are located. Breakfast location was awesome but the food for breakfast was not supergood.

Très déçue par cet hôtel qui se veut \"luxueux\".
Un accueil sympathique mais une chambre minuscule infestée de fourmis et une salle de bain à la limite de l'insalubrité!
Un restaurant qui ferme à 21h (sachant que l'hôtel est très isolé) mais avec une dernière commande au plus tard à 20h30. La moitié de la carte n'est pas disponible et les desserts ne se résument qu'à des fruits.
Nous avions également programmé un départ à 5h du matin car avion à prendre. Un employé devait frapper à notre porte pour nous amener jusqu'au taxi et se charger de nos valises + petit déjeuner. Personne n'est venu, petit déjeuner inexistant et il a fallu remonter les valises à pied par une cote tout le long de 40%
Donc énormément déçue par cet hotel, le rapport qualité prix ne vaut vraiment pas la vue!!!

Из минусов:
- отель расположен на склоне, оттого не каждому понравятся постоянные крутые спуски и подъемы;
- жесткие матрасы и старые шаткие кровати.

Our experience was disappointing. We did'nt got the room for which we paid. The wifi did not work and all that was offered to us is to move at the reception or restaurant.

This accommodation is secluded on a road under repair. In addition, we felt that this property had better years. (Overdated - pool, path between the bungalows)

Fortunately, the breakfast and the view allowed us to start the day on a good foot.

A sudden, our whole experience does not encourage us to recommend this establishment. It is not more that a 2 1/2 stars.

Abbiamo soggiornato nel periodo di agosto in questo resort, bungalow deluxe vista mare. Camera molto graziosa e spaziosa con terrazzo panoramico e meravigliosa vista mare. Personale molto gentile e accogliente; colazione a buffet. Scalinata impegnativa per raggiungere la reception. Per gli spostamenti assolutamente consigliamo lo scooter ma con guida prudente perché molte strade sono dissestate.

Bestemte oss for å gi det en mulighet. Var forberedt på trapper, så den delen var grei. Men her er det triste saker. Man bor i et skur i jungelen, blant en hel haug med mygg og andre dyr. Bad om å få nye håndklær første dagen, da vi måtte bruke de vi hadde til å få bukt med insekter om natten. Da hadde de bare brettet de sammen. Måtte faktisk bære de opp og bytte selv. Knust glass på stranden, som de ikke brydde seg noe med og plukke opp. Mine døtre plukket en hel pose full. Vil ikke anbefale dette i det hele tatt. Eneste fine måtte være utsikten.

Dette hotel har hytter med seaview og gardenview. Gardenview har en meget lav standard. Små hytter uden plads til bagage, kun forhæng til toilet og generelt uhygiejnisk. Aircon og toilet lugter og gulvet bevæger sig, når man går. Håndklæder blev ikke skiftet trods vi lagde dem på gulvet. Tynde vægge så man kan høre alt hvad der sker i de øvrige hytter. Vi havde desuden et rend af folk i hytten nogle uden ærinde, når vi spurgte dem. Noget at det dårligste vi har oplevet på vores 7 turer til Thailland. Kaos i reception da vi kom 2 familier samtidig og bagage blev leveret til forkerte rum. Restaurant havde ikke styr på regninger og vi måtte nævne hvad vi havde fået ved betaling. Også skidt med en tjener som ikke kan et ord engelsk, når der skal bestilles mad. Til gengæld en fantastisk udsigt og god snorkling. Absolut ikke får folk som ikke er 100% mobile da der er mindst 30% stigninger og skæve gangbroer. Nærmeste by og restauranter er ikke indenfor gåafstand pga stærke stigninger. Seaview hytter skulle have højere standard.

Nous avons passé une seule nuit. Si les chambres sont propres, il est vrai qu'il y a énormément d'escaliers. Le plus désagréable a été le monopole du taxi en face de l'hôtel qui dicte ses prix exorbitants. Difficile de trouver un autre taxi. Petit déjeuner pas fameux, pas de plage juste un ponton mais la piscine est là. Nous avons ensuite trouvé extrêmement mieux et moins cher pour le reste de notre séjour.

To venninner på tur. En av oss hadde et brekt bein og hoppet på krykker. De ansatte tilrettela både frokost og middag slik at hun slapp å hoppe for mye rundt. Hotellet ligger i en veldig bratt bakke, anbefales ikke for de som sliter med å gå. Veldig vakkert, flotte omgivelser og sjarmerende hytter. Burde Vært gratis skyss til sentrum litt oftere da det ikke er så sentralt

Aivan ihastuttava paikka. Maisemat ja puitteet ovat jotain sanoin kuvaamatonta. Bungalovit eivät ole tasoltaan kovinkaan kummoisia vaikka otimme Deluxe-bungalowin merinäköalalla. Kuitenkin perus siisti. Hotellissa oli hyvä palvelu. Meitä jopa tultiin satamasta hakemaan, vaikka emme olleet kyytiä tilanneet. Mistähän edes tiesivät milloin tulemme, se jäi arvoitukseksi. Hotellista pari kertaa päivässä ilmainen kyyti kaupunkiin, mutta liikkumisen kannalta kaikkein helpoin tapa on mopedi. Jalkasin kaupunkiin matkaa 20-25 min kävely.
Todella kaunis, käymisen arvoinen kyllä. Ainoa miinus oli aika niukka aamupala ja jyrkät korkeuserot, mutta maisemat eivät sitten olisi niin hienot olleetkaan tasamaalla.

The bed are so hard.(we check out early) All the room are up on the mountain, so you have to walk up and down to the swimming pool, restaurant everytime. The way to go in to hotel is on the mountain. The hotels have the Japanese golf car that have engine and have a big stone in the end of it to make balance when they have to drive deep down to the room area. The engibe of this golf car is noisy, so if your room near the street inside of the hotel, you can hear it when it drive pass. The pool look old, the glue between the tiles is loosing, the hole in the bottom of the pool don't have anything cover. The hotels area quite far from the city area where you can walk to any restaurant. You need to rent motorbike/ATV or use taxi that is cost start from 300-400 baht per way. Don't have sand beach in this hotel. You can do snorkeling but be careful because they didn't clean the beginning of area where you walk down to the water. I saw broken ceramic plate, pieceses of broken bolltle under water. The staff in the receiption and both restsurant are friendly and nice.

Fantastisk utsikt men det är också allt......

Hotellet ligger med en fantastisk utsikt över havet och man har en fantastisk solnedgång att beskåda. Tyvärr är detta det enda som är positivt. Hotellet ligger i extremt kuperad och bergig terräng och det är tröttsamt även för en atlet att ta sig från rummet till poolen/havet/restaurangen/receptionen. Vidare ligger hotellet relativt långt bort från centrum och transporten in till närmsta centrum med restauranger eller ner till hamnen är omotiverat hög. Verksamheten bedrivs på ett rent stötande sätt och det är mycket, mycket dyrt att transportera sig från A till B. Hotellet säger visserligen att de har två fria transporter per dag men dessa ligger på såna tidpunkter att de inte är intressanta. För en vanlig familj att ta sig till och från de centrala delarna av Koh Tao får ni räkna med åtskilliga hundra kronor.
Städningen på rummet var inget vidare även om rummen i sig var trevliga. Frukosten var av väldigt låg karaktär och priserna på hotellets mat och service var lite väl höga. Vill du ha en bra utsikt så är det bra men annars så är det idé att leta efter något annat.
