The location is perfect, very close to everything. The check in process was super simple and we were provided lots of details about the area, what to see and where to go. The room itself was very clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. The only thing that was missing was a safe. Also, the building is quite noisy - we were able to hear guests in the room next to us snoring and noise from the restaurant below. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

Nice spacious room, clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Roof top with the city view was an added bonus. 5 min walk to Sao Bento train station, 7 min walk to Lello library, the property has a bar and restaurant downstairs, there a multiple restaurants close to the hotel, close to a small grocery, 5 min walk to Timeout market, 5 min walk to living tours.

The hotel is at the top of a steep hill (but so is most of Porto).
Really good communication (with Carla the manager) before arrival.
Room was quite narrow and dark (L-shaped) at the back of the building and there wasn't a safe but otherwise all good.

Wonderful place to stay, very central to everything, Ricky was terrific as a host and the breakfast we had the last day in the restaurant downstairs was lovely. My only complaint is that it was difficult to access from a car and parking had to be at a nearby parking lot. But that is the situation in historic city areas. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was convenient to most places. Room very small and very very loud. Small children running up and down the hallway and noise from the restaurant and bar was bad. Room was pretty shabby and curtains were broken upon our arrival. Luckily wee weren’t there long. Mostly frustrated by the scam of being asked to pay the city tax again after we already paid upon arrival. Anything with a link to PayPal is fraud in my opinion. Restaurant is good

Our GPS had trouble finding this property in the Porto city center. The sign identifying the property is very small, but with 4 of us, we found it. Ricky was very helpful in riding with us to park our car which ended up being quite easy. Our room was adequate with needed amenities. The breakfast room was unique, and we were served breads, cheeses, and fruit; no hot entrees.

Wonderful place to stay. Very easy check in, great at giving late check in instructions. Get the top floor room if possible for great city views at night. The restaurant on the first floor is awesome and you can get a glass of wine when you return at night to bring up to your room. Very helpful and friendly staff. We were thrilled with our choice of Alibi for our hotel in Porto. Great location and phenomenal service. Extremely reasonably priced when we were there in June. The room we had was very basic (no view) but it was very comfortable, quiet, clean, and cool. The shared balcony view made up for the lack of one from our room. Ricky the concierge/manager was stellar: friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Couldn't recommend this hotel more. The view from the shared balconies was awesome. While we didn't eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant we did have an excellent breakfast every morning there including some of the best croissant and pastel de nata we've ever had. The only very minor \"issue\" was a lack of drawers into which one could unpack. Great location -- close to sights, shopping, and many excellent restaurants. Excellent service. Spectacular view. Great price.

Yours Porto in Porto was a lovely little hotel. Only problem was that there is no lift and this made getting to the room difficult for my 80 year old mother - although this was my oversight as I had not asked for a room near the ground floor. But it is important to be aware of if travelling with someone with mobility issues.

The hotel was In a great location and within walking distance to all the key attractions. The room was modern and nice, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. It looked like it was brand new. It would have been even better if the room would have had a little fridge. On the first floor there is a very nice restaurant and it is really awkward getting in and out while people are eating. There was not front desk , but a very nice woman helped you with everything you needed when the restaurant is open. The sound proofing for the room was not the best so you could hear your neighbors or the cleaning lady working sometimes. The hotel sent too many email, most of them unnecessary and/or asking duplicate information. Overall I liked the hotel and I will stay again if I come back to Porto .

Great spacious contemporary home from home room for 3 friends travelling together located in central Porto. Adjoining restaurant served great food in a homely contemporary relaxed setting with spectacular night views of city.

Room was very noisy at night from street below but guess that’s what you get from such a central location at a weekend. Rooms overlooking back of GH might be quieter. They kindly offered to leave breakfast out early for us but only had bread and jam with no tea or coffee! Also both restaurant booking in Porto and return taxi to airport made at reception didn’t materialise, which was v disappointing and caused quite bit of hassle for us to sort out for ourselves, as guesthouse was closed on Sunday afternoon.

Overall it was a lovely guesthouse run by some lovely people, sadly just let down by a few unreliable key services.

The hotel itself was fine, but I was seriously let down by the service. The hotel agreed to arrange a taxi to collect me from the airport, I had a pressing engagement that evening - so that was ideal. However the car arrived 45 minutes late, leaving me stranded at the airport and late for my commitment.
I was still charged for the collection, and when I was asked for a refund I was greeted with an incredibly rude response.
Very disappointing to be treated so rudely by the hotel manager, when they have quite a nice place to stay.

They do have two rooms with shared bathroom, there was only one room left when I booked so I didn’t pay attention which was my fault, it was a surprise for me to have a shared bathroom so be careful when booking. Everything else is great.

The guesthouse was in the old town and was close to everything. When you check out, the hotel look after your bags so you can go out an explore one last time before catching a late afternoon flight.

Nice hotel with a very convenient location. Staff is excellent they're very helpful and accomodating. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

We got a room towards the street, it was ample and comfortable. Beds were a little saggy but not too bad, about right to get a good nights sleep. However the balcony doors are insulated so you get street noise and light throughout the night.

Also during the night aome other guest was inconsiderate and he made sure everyone in the hotel heard his footsteps going up to his room.

The shower had some mold on one of the walls, and overall it was clean but a little worn.

If it were only for thr noise isolation issue from both the corridor and the street this is definitely a 5 star hotel.

Adorable and thoughtfully appointed guest house. Staff was warm, helpful, and accommodating. Room & bed was comfy. Dining area and garden were very pleasant, with reading nooks, places to relax, and snacks/beverages available. Breakfast was delicious. Location was also great, 5 minute walk to the San Bento train station, 10 minute walk to the river, lots of shops and restaurants within a a 5 minute walk. I stayed in the large room on the top floor with 4 twin beds and private bathroom - the street-facing wall was completely made of french doors that let in gorgeous light and a beautiful warm breeze when opened (onto the juliet balcony). I would love to go back!

This was a great place to stay in central Porto. Sandra met us at reception and was so welcoming. This friendly approach spread through the rest of the staff. The hotel has its own bistro with great food and an amazing outdoor space including a garden with views over to the cathedral and the rooftops of Porto.

Only one little gripe, squeaky beds. However the room was clean and large.

Would definitely stay here again.

Conveniently sited and very helpful staff

No lift but staff helped with luggage. Small hanging cupboard but no shelves so could not unpack which was awkward for a stay of several days. Bistro only operates for half the week so one has to go out at night to find food. The staff were very helpful and informative and the breakfasts excellent. For anyone wanting to explore Porto the position is excellent for going up and down and using public transport but it is quite a steep hill arriving with heavy luggage after a very delayed flight.

The location is perfect for exploring the town center, but we didn't anticipate such great food. I wish I'd been able to stay longer, just as André predicted when I checked in. Reception was welcoming. My room was comfortable and quiet (I turned the fan on for white noise and it worked a charm). Shared bathroom was large and clean. The dining area and terrace are even nicer than the photos. Great continental breakfast spread, good wine options in the honor bar. My dinner at the bistro was excellent, too. The location is extremely convenient. Highly recommended with no reservations.

This is a great place to stay. The hosts/owners were so nice and friendly. The location can't be beat - very close to the Sao Bento metro/train station and in the old part of town. The breakfast is great with a buffet of bread, cheeses, meats, fruit, cereal, fresh juice, coffee, tea and pastries. You can sip on a welcome drink of port, beer or wine as the hosts give you a map and info on Porto. Our room was small but cozy and very clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants and a supermarket in the area. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

It was lovely. We had arrived late at night. We had requested for a crib and it had already been set up. I could just pop my Daughter into the crib for a night's rest instead of having to wait for it.

This hotel does not have an elevator. The hotel owner helped me with my heavy luggage and carried them up 3 flight of stairs. What a great service!

The location is just super. The room was cleaned everyday. The food selection for breakfast was enough. However, the quality of bed linens can be improved. Moreover, the bed was not comfortable at all. One movement, and the whole mattress moved and so bothering the other person sleeping. Beds can be soft and firm but the bed in our room was just soft. There's no cabinet for clothes too.

We stayed at lots of 5 star hotels during our 34-day Europe grand trip, but this hotel is one of the best places we stayed in Europe! I even think it is a must stay place in Porto! The owner of the hotel, a very nice lady, greeted us warmly, showed us around the hotel and introduced the city/tour suggestion to us. Very very kind and helpful! Though rooms not very large, it is very cozy! Staying here is like visiting an old friend's family! Definitely going to stay here again if in Porto!

Great location and service, but super-firm beds

First, the positives (and there are many):
- The location of Yours Guesthouse is great - very central and in a neighborhood with tons of restaurants and bars.
- The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We arrived late but were welcomed cheerfully with a glass of port, and they were all more than happy to answer our questions during our stay.
- The continental breakfast buffet was pretty substantial and tasty - involved cold cuts, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruits, breads and pastries (on one day, even a Christmas cake with candied fruit and nuts), plus coffee, tea and juice.
- Everything was clean and well-maintained. Our room, though small, was cozy, with a great view of the city from the window (and there was an even better one from the terrace off the breakfast room).

Then, the cons (really, just one):
- The bed was extremely firm, which didn't make for the most restful sleep.

Great location in the heart of tourist Lisboa.

This guesthouse is a short walk ( 5 minutes) from either the Rossio Train station or the Baixa-Chiado metro stop ( take the exit to Praca Louis da Camoes). We came in from the airport on the metro ( one change) - it was cheap and easy, assuming you've done your homework and know where to change trains. The Guesthouse itself is just a big door on the street, with no outside markings at all - if I hadn't googled it using street view I'm not sure how I would have found it. There was a small label by one of the intercom buttons that gave a clue, so I pressed it and we were buzzed in. Totally dark entrance, with a skylight 4 floors up the only source of light. As we found out later, there is a switch inside beside the door that turns on the lights. We hiked up the stairs with our luggage ( 72 stairs) to the 4th floor, and were greeted at the door to the guesthouse. We managed just fine, but I repeat - 72 stairs with luggage. Be aware of this as you consider booking here, and be prepared to do your homework to locate the place - street map, etc. - because street signage is mostly non-existent in Lisboa, as in most of Portugal.

We loved it.

Brilliant hotel, really friendly staff. Fun little quirky items all around the place and beautiful art on the walls painted by the owners mother-in-law!!! We were given two glasses of port to try when we arrived too. Couldn't have asked for anything else. We loved it.

Very hospitable staff, offered us a welcome port wine and carried ALL our heavy luggage up 3 flights. Top room would only have been better if had private bathroom, but great view of the rooftops of Porto. Food is amazing! Would definitely stay again and recommend.

For the best in Porto...

Ideal location in Porto, barely 5 minutes walk from Sao
Bento railway station and the Metro. Very friendly and helpful staff, immaculate and well-appointed room, great breakfasts.

Parfaitement situé au centre ville, avec un restaurant et un bar à vin! Parfait pour découvrir le vin du Portugal. Le restaurant a deux ambiances. La vue sur Porto le soir est très belle! A l'accueil, en discutant, nous avons eu des informations très pratiques pour circuler dans Porto et où aller manger!

Ottimo hotel in posizione eccellente per girare: al centro dei monumenti e dei locali per mangiare. La camera è ben tenuta, con pavimento di legno, bagno in ordine. Ben riscaldata.
