One of my favorite parts was ending each day with a relaxing bath in the beautiful tub—it added such a special touch to the stay. Dinner and breakfast at the resort were a real treat, with fresh, flavorful dishes and local wines that made each meal memorable.
The staff were very gracious and made us feel so welcome. It’s the perfect place to slow down, enjoy incredible food and wine, and soak in the beauty of Tuscany.

This is a beautiful winery with amazing views. The setting makes you feel like you are back in time. There are two restaurants on site. We ate at the more casual one and our service was phenomenal. The one thing missing for me were places to sit outside that offered views out. There seemed to be small areas like this around the property but there were closed off and had no seating. The breakfast bar that was included with our reservation is delicious and the outdoor patio is picturesque.

This was such a lovely unique property adjacent to a winery. Such a nice experience to tour and taste at winery, then on to the Osteria for a fabulous wine and dinner pairing. The only complaint I had was that there was no where in the shower to put shampoo or soap, so I had to put it on the floor of the shower. Also, since everything is painted with shiny paint, the shower floor was very slippery and I almost fell a couple of times.

While in Italy, we were last to be able to go to 6 vineyards. This was the most state of the art winery that we visited. That being said, having a great tour, the wine tasting and pairing was mediocre. It only served with crackers and bread, and the wine was in our opinion, just OK.

The property is situated in the region of Castellina in Chianti as is stunningly beautiful. The village of Fonterutoli is equally as breathtaking with an authentic rustic feel to it. The wine tour was very good and the dinner was absolutely excellent, particularly Monday to Saturday. The breakfast had an excellent selection of food for all to enjoy at the Osteria.
The resort is located about 8 minute drive from Castellina in Chianti, 25 minutes from Siena, 20 minutes from Monteriggioni, 35 minutes from San Gimignano and about 1 hour from Volterra.

This hotel is a gem! I loved the fact that it has a winery and you can schedule a tour. The staff is very friendly, especially Gaetano who was very helpful assisting us with directions and giving us suggestions for restaurants near the area, not just the one at the hotel. The hotel food was fabulous our stayed was a pleasure, Castello di Fonterutoli Wine Resort is the perfect place for rest and delight the palate.

The room and grounds here are beautiful and tranquil! It was a great getaway for relaxation and taking in beautiful Tuscany. Most of the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. One staff member who works the cafe/bar was less so as he was dismissive and rude (didn’t say hello, rolled his eyes when we gave him 10 for a 4 euro purchase, and ignored us when we said goodbye). I informed management to which they replied that they were sorry to hear and that they would speak to him to understand what happened and why. The rest of the staff was super and we overall enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I were in a Vespa accident and were stuck at the hospital for nearly an entire day. The staff at the resort were extremely hospitable to us when we finally arrived. It was a perfect setting for our recovery. The food was delicious, the views were magical, and we couldn’t have asked for a more delightful room.

From check-in to check-out, all of the staff was extremely warm, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The property offered various walking trails through its medieval village and own vineyards that gave the perception of being frozen in time. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Tuscany, crisp and fresh air and quiet peacefulness.

Yuri gave me an amazing wine tour! The reception staff was not so friendly, felt a little snobby and unwelcoming. Restaurant staff the same, only one other couple were eating breakfast early in the morning, I sat at a 4 seat table out of the sun and the waitress said \"why do you take this table if you are alone? I set it for 4 people?\" I offered to move right away then she told me to stay there! No one else even showed up to eat, especially 3-4 people and they had about 20 available tables available! Just rude for no reason! Also, I reserved a mountain bike for touring and a half-plastic, Walmart piece of junk was delivered for riding cross-country, no repair kit, dirty, terrible, big disappointment especially since it came from a nice bike shop that wouldn't even sell a bike that cheap. The room was Spartan, water bottles were given the first night with a sign they would be replaced each day but that never happened, and no water glasses in the room. Will not return. The wine tour was awesome because of Yuri! I would only return for that! The buildings and surrounding landscape was very beautiful.

This quaint Medieval village is amazing. Established in ‘998, and has all the Tuscan charm imaginable. The room was amazing, it was clean well decorated, and extremely comfortable. The common area was very well done and matched the time period. The kitchen was well suited, and the supplied bottled water was appreciated.
The breakfast provided at the restaurant was an amazing spread, and was fresh with local grown berries for the jams.
The dinner menu was quite extensive and everything we ordered was exquisite, well presented and was amazing to our pallets.
As vintners ourselves, we found that the wine from the winery was excellent well aged and suited our pallet.

Quaint village setting, very calm and peaceful. The room we got had 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom in the middle. It was very comfortable, very clean and relaxing, we loved it. There is a common area as well, with a fireplace, old style village kitchen, book cases and comfortable seating. Nearby enoteca has a number of wines to try and buy.

The B&B is in a great location for exploring the area but there was little need to venture far; the restaurant served amazing food and we also did a tour of the onsite winery. Wine was amazing. Very cute rustic hotel. The common areas were very nice. We'd have to give it 4 out of 5 stars. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning, complimentary wine tasting, and bottled waters. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing! We also loved the little village that the hotel is located. Just wished the bed was more comfortable, that would have made it 5 stars! It was two twin beds that made a double, not much support.

I later realised that the room I got was very different from what I saw on the expedia website. I booked a deluxe room, but it was nothing similar to the images. no nice looking sofas and no bathtube. Even considering that it was different room but same class, I can't really think anything worth the price except the room size.

I loved my stayed at Castello di Fonterutoli. The location is perfect to visit around countryside Tuscany with easy ride to Siena and other famous towns. Food was really good and staff very friendly. Our room was lovely redecorated they done an amazing job and the Wine was so good we go at some bottles with us

Wonderful place to stay in Chianti. Beautiful, peaceful little hillside hamlet. You feel like you are a world away from the real world. 5 min drive to a lovely local town.

The estate is lovely and really peaceful, and close to other good wineries as well. The breakfast at their restaurant across the road is enjoyable if you sit outdoors, where you can look out over the rolling hills. The room we had was large but our personal preference meant we didn't really like the rustic stone floors (bring your own slippers!). There is no shower curtain for the tub so you can only take a bath or shower sitting down. The communal lounge area is good for relaxing and we appreciated the free sparkling water kept in the fridge for guests to help themselves.

Não recebemos nenhum e-mail antes da estadia e, somente quando chegamos ao quarto (por volta das 15hs) soubemos, pelo livro de informações no quarto, que existem wine tours guiados, com degustação . E que o próximo somente seria às 10:30 do dia seguinte, impossível para quem fez reserva de uma noite e depois seguirá viagem. Tentei junto à recepção, sem sucesso, alguma forma de conhecer a vinícola e/ou seus vinhos. O recepcionista não manifestou nenhum interesse em me atender. O wine bar é ruim, de frente para estrada, e com atendentes de má vontade. No quarto não tem TV. Acabei jantando na Osteria do hotel. Mas não conheci os seus vinhos. É um bom hotel, mas não é resort e não é “wine”

Detta var det mest magiska ställe vi upplevt. Rummet var så fint och gården med dess vyer var precis som i en romantisk film. Vi längtar redan tillbaka. Maten på restaurangen över gatan var bättre än många Michelinrestauranger vi besökt och servicen jättefin! Glöm inte boka in deras wine tour.
