It was an ok stay. Rooms a bit tacky but clean. The shower was good when it worked! 2nd day and the shower was cold! After complaining to the receptionist I got this response: it's nobody in anymore but I'll make a report. Didn't help me having a shower though! My room was quite spacious and I had a double bed; my sister's room had a single bed with a width of only 70cm! Her room was like a broom cabinet! Breakfast was acceptable, but the bread was not fresh on the 2nd day! There were no coffee-making facilities in the rooms, as was advertised! Disappointing! The best thing was the location - just around the corner of Ku'damm. We only stayed 2 nights, would not book it for longer. Sorry to say.

Convenient to the U-bahn. spacious room and bathroom, breakfast included. Might have been a bit dusty because my allergies were set off but it was clean overall. Great bakery on the corner when you exit left toward the U-bahn and cross the street.

Me and my sister had an OK few nights here, but for the price, I will be booking elsewhere for my future stays. The hotel is old and has a nice charm, but both the provided WiFi and service in the area (at least T-Mobile) were unusable. Additionally the shower would constantly change between ice cold and scalding. One nice touch was the breakfast buffet. It was easy and there were lots of options.

This hotel is located conveniently with good connections to city centre and the U-Bahn station just a short walk away. The breakfast options were good and healthy as well.

However, I had a horrible experience with the evening receptionist. After storing my luggage at the hotel, I realized upon returning that I had forgotten two of my jackets in my room. I assumed they would be returned to me as the day receptionist was aware I would be coming back. Unfortunately, the evening receptionist spoke no English and literally YELLED at me, saying she couldn't handle my issue and told me to return the next morning. As a tourist leaving Berlin that night, this was not even possible for me.

Eventually, the issue was resolved because the rude receptionist contacted the helpful day receptionist, who was aware of my situation. While the hotel has its positive aspects, this incident left a very negative impression due to the extreme rudeness and unprofessional behavior of the evening staff.

Bottom line: You get what you pay for, but be aware of the reception service!

All you need at a Great price

Convenient location between 2 underground stations. Spacious twin bedded room with toilet and shower in a clean , modern and spacious bathroom. Very good breakfast with juice, hot drinks, cereals, meats, cheese, fruits, yoghurts, various breads and toaster , jams and honey, all on help yourself buffet. All at a very reasonable price. Would definitely book again.

A nice, friendly place to stay in West Berlin!

I liked it. The room was spacious and the shower was great. The breakfasy buffet was simple, but tasty.

Location is great, very close to the U-bahn and a 15 minute walk to Charlottenburg S-bahn.

worst hotel experience— someone entered my room

this place was absolutely run down and disgusting from the jump but i knew what i paid for and was trying to make the best of it. i arrived in the early evening and left to see the city. when i came back at midnight the power on my floor and in my room was completely out. from the elevator to my room was pitch black. i was unable to contact ANYONE from the hotel at all until 7am the cook came in but WOULD NOT CALL ANYONE TO TELL THEM MY POWER WAS OUT. the rest of the staff comes in at 10am. they had planned that day(after my power had already been out for 10 hours) to turn the power off, so an electrition was on sight. randomly in the afternoon i am sleeping and the electritian just enters my room with out knocking. i am shouting to him that he cannot enter but he continued coming laughing. i am undressed in my bed and this man is laughing at me entering my room. they tried to not refund me my money because they told me it is impossible that the power was out all night. the shared toilet did not flush. there was mold in the room fridge. and the men running this place were absolutely horrible and even tried to tell hotels.com i was lying. this place was an absolute nightmare and should not be in service.

Very nice Pension in the heart of the City’s west end. Nice breakfast, comfortable room and beds. On street parking, close to public transport and all the shops anyone could ever need on the Ku’damm! Really enjoyed our stay

Older hotel in a good location, just a few metres from the metro station. Large room and bathroom. Refrigerator and TV available. Internet connection worked well. Simple but sufficient breakfast. My only comment would be about the not very comfortable beds and creaking parquet floors. All in all, good value for money.

I love that the hotel was in an old building that has been there since the second world war. The elevator was the old style that has manual open and close doors, though the operation of the elevator itself has been upgraded. The room was very clean and the staff was very courteous. We were surprised by the temperatures in Berlin as they were experiencing record highs during our visit and the Expedia site listed AC as an amenity that was not actually available the the guest rooms. But being able to actually open the windows made it bearable.

Nice hotel that has free breakfast for people who are on a budget. Shared toilet outside your room but you get a shower and a sink in your room. About 20 minutes from all the action in downtown Berlin but there are tons of shops and restaurants nearby to the hotel. Definitely would stay here again if traveling to Berlin.

Old but once got used to it's value for money

The room was old and the light was not bright enough. We took some time to get used to the in-room shower only 'box'. Nonetheless, after a day we're okay with it and the price we paid was good enough for a few nights of good rest. I must also mention that the complimentary breakfast was really tasty and the century year-old elevator in the building was a tremendous enjoyment to ride every time.

Our stay here was neither amazing nor disappointing, certainly on the positive side. The location is well placed, in a quiet and clean neighborhood, relatively close to the center, many quick transport options. The room was clean and spacious but the windows did not close tightly, the wooden floor was crackling, the water temperature was hard to fix, and the towels changed only once in 5 days. The receptionist was ok. Good and varied breakfast, lack of whole fruits. The dining room was small, lack of music or at least a TV, the overworked and strained staff.

Das zimmer ist sehr geräumige. Es war sauber,lage super .Frühstück passt.Zum störenden muss ich sagen,TV geht kein Programm heißt man soll Resiver einschalten ,es war weder eine 2 Fernbedienungen noch ein Resiver da.Und ich konnte keine Nacht schlafen.Irgend etwas rauscht pausendlos durch das zimmer man kommt sich vor wie auf den bahnhof,wo man die Züge so laut hört.Glaube es sind rohre die man extrem hört.

Sehr sauberes großes Zimmer. Sitzgarnitur. Nur der Heizkörper hat zwischendurch mitten in der Nacht manchmal Geräusche gemacht aber nicht geheizt. Gute Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Ubahn und Bus). Fußläufig auch zu S- Bahn.

Beliggenheten var veldig sentral rett ved Ku`Damm og like ved U-Bahnstasjoner. Det gjorde det enkelt å finne fram fra flyplassen. Hotellet lå i en gammel bygård med enkle .men romslige rom. Heisen opp dit var et syn! Betjeningen var hyggelig, frokosten enkel, rengjøringen med håndkle- og sengetøyskift bra. Jeg anbefaler Hotel Margrit som et enkelt og \"minimalistisk\" alternativ til større og flottere hoteller i den tyske hovedstaden.

Gute Lage, Zimmer sehr groß (hatten ein 3-Bett-Zimmer) mit bequemen Betten. Sauberkeit ok. Insgesamt alles ziemlich abgewohnt. Fenster alt und teils nicht zu öffnen. Nachttischlampe funktionierte nicht. Personal war freundlich, aber nicht in der Lage, das Problem zu lösen. Frühstück sehr einfach. Was am meisten störte war, dass es im Zimmer nach abgestandenem Rauch stank. Für eine Nacht aber in Ordnung, mit für die Lage akzeptablem preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Erwähnenswert ist, dass es in der näheren Umgebung drei Straßen gibt, in denen man kostenlos parken kann, sofern man einen Parkplatz findet. Das Hotel informiert darüber netterweise im Vorfeld. Das Hotel selbst kann keine Parkmöglichkeiten anbieten. Definitiv kein Hotel für gehobene Ansprüche, für uns aber für die eine Nacht völlig ausreichend.

Hervorragend für das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in Berlin, gute Anbindung an den ÖPNV. Personal unterschiedlich, die Hauptmitarbeiterin etwas genervt und schnipisch, der Nachtdienst sogar aufmerksam. Das Frühstück war gut und völlig ausreichend, alles großzügig und frisch aufgetischt, als wir da waren (Aug. 25).
Der Aufzug aus dem letzten Jhd war schon die Reise wert. Die beiden Zimmer, die wir hatten, waren groß und sauber mit super Betten. Einmal mit Dusche im Zimmer und geteiltem WC, auch sauber und OK. Im zweiten Zimmer war ein riesen Bad dabei. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Das Hotel liegt unscheinbar relativ praktisch zu U-Bahn und Bushaltestellen. Ein Highlight war für uns der alte Aufzug. Das Ambiente versetzt einen in längst vergangene Zeiten, gerade das hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut gefüllt, es gab reichlich Auswahl, der Frühstücksraum ist sehr geräumig. Der Preis ist unschlagbar.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt um zwei Tage verlängert, weil ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel war. Wir hatten ein extrem ruhiges Zimmer am Ende des Flures im dritten Stock. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber und wurden auch täglich gereinigt. Die Mitarbeiter*innen waren stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, wenn auch etwas einseitig. Für den Preis kann man aber auch keine große Abwechslung erwarten. Die Lage und die Anbindung an den ÖPNV ist recht gut. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würde dort beim nächsten Mal sicherlich wieder übernachten.

Also, die Unterkunft war sauber, allerdings ist das auch so ziemlich das einzig positive was zu erwähnen ist.
Leider war das Gebäude recht hellhörig und insgesamt hatte es einen \"teenie-horrorfilm-charakter\"
Die Matratzen war zu weich und meiner meinung nach durchgelegen, die Handtücher waren ausgefranzt, seife zum händewaschen am schon beim check in leer, jede dritte bodenfließe im Badezimmer hatte einen sprung, das waschbecken ist offensichtlich schon mal aus dercwand gebrochen und wurde irgendwie wieder angebracht, allerdings wackelig (bloß nicht zu viel berühren), den griff von der nadezimmertüre hatte man auch in der hand und das zimmer hat nach den alten wasser-/abflussrohren gerochen.
Das Frühstück war ausreichend und frisch, allerdings gab es keine Beschriftungen der angebotenen lebensmittel. Man konnte raten was für wurst, käse und aufstrich man gerade ausgesucht hatte.

Vi blev noget overrasket over hvor nedslidt det var. Der manglede klinker på badeværelse gulvet. Parkering var tilgængelig på alle vejene rundt om hotellet, hvis man ville holde ved hotellet var det ret dyrt. De eneste der kunne Engelsk var de to der passede receptionen alle andre forstod ingenting. Min mand satte sig på toiletlåget og det gik i tusind stykker det kostede os 25 euro. Der stod at hotellet ligger i charlottenburg men det ligger i Schwerin.

Eu gostei bastante. Assim Que cheguei me deixa ram colocar as malas mesmo sendo antes do meu horário de check in, recebi dicas de onde passear na cidade. A única coisa é que o espaço das mesas não pode ser usando sem ser na hora do café da manhã.

chambre solo petite et vieillotte (moquette au sol pas très propre) et très très mal insonorisée mais fonctionnelle... (j'entendais toutes les conversations de la chambre à coté)

Sehr schlechte Erfahrung.
WLAN hat fast nie funktioniert. Das Personal war unfreundlich und antwortete bei einer Beschwerde über WLAN, dass sich niemand beschwert habe.
Das Zimmer war ziemlich hellhörig, und könnte man Nachbarn oder Bewegungen auf dem Flur einfach hören?
Frühstück war sehr billig gestaltet, und kann man auch in die Tonne kloppen!
Steckdose war halb kaputt und konnte beim Abziehen ganz auseinanderbrechen.
Auch das Fernsehen funktionierte nicht. Man konnte ihn nur als Bildschirm benutzen.

Hotel without front desk at night times.

I'm sorry to say that this was the worst hotel I had ever stayed. The front desk operates only 8AM ~ 10PM and no help is possible during night time. During my stay, the electricity went out suddenly in my room at 7 AM when the front desk didn't operate. It took more than 3 hours to recover and the problem continued to the next day after they fixed it. WiFi signal was took weak and so I couldn't use Internet in the room. This hotel may deserve $50/night but I paid $150/night.

Es ist eine sehr in die Jahre gekommene Hotelpension die ihre besten Tage hinter sich hat. Es ist ein altes Wohnhaus was vorlangem zu einem Hotel umgenutzt wird. Es ist sehr hellhörig und in unserem Zimmer gab es nixht wirklich Vorhänge. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück vollkommen ausreichend

Möbel viel „Eiche rustikal“ fast vom Sperrmüll. Renovierungsstau vorhanden. Personal teilweise Unfreundlich. Frühstücksbüffet lieblos. Für 90 Euro pro Nacht hätte ich mehr erwartet.

Eher low budget;
Zimmer einfach, aber sauber; Matratze eher zu weich; TV geht nicht (braucht man ja in Berlin nicht, aber funktioniert auch nicht); das Einloggen ins W-Lan hat wegen der Zusendung eines falschen Passwortes zunächst nicht funktioniert.
Auf dem Zimmer ein kleiner Kühlschrank.
Spätankunft möglich.
Frühstück ok (Aldi Qualität); Brötchen sehr trocken.
Super Lage (Nähe Kudamm); Berlin-Charlottenburg.

Ich habe noch nie so viel Geld für so ein schlechtes Hotel ausgegeben. 200 € Pro Nacht ist viel zu teuer
