Nice place in the heart of Le Havre. Good restaurants within easy walking distance and a nice waterfront nearby. We used the underground parking garage across the street. One caution -- if you're like us and day-tripping to other destinations, like Mont St. Michel, if you come back later at night, many of the roads will be closed for construction, necessitating agonizing guesswork in finding your way back. Ask the front desk for help prior to setting out.

Expedia claimed on-site parking for compact vehicles; this hotel had none. Off-site parking costs much more than the 8 Euros stated. Worse, upon arrival we were given no information on what to do with car and luggage, the room was small, the 'are' printed graffiti on the doors, many things closed in nearby neighborhood.

Pros: The staff was absolutely wonderful. The service I received here was excellent. My room was spacious and had a lot of light. The hotel is very centrally located.

Cons: No one told me they’d lock the doors after a certain hour and I couldn’t get in w my room key. I had to place an international call to get in the hotel. Room could have been cleaner. Toilet smelled.

Excellent central location and great service from the reception desk. Very welcoming and provided us with a fan to enable us to sleep in the 27C October heatwave! Very surprised to find such a good hotel did not have AC.
Liked the quirky lift.
No parking attached to this hotel but if lucky you may score a street park or can park right over the road in an underground park.

The cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff was wonderful. What brings my review down is the value for price paid. The size of the economy room is smaller than ones I have stayed in, in Manhattan. There is no climate control in the rooms, the shower is so small you have to open the door to bend over, and you have nowhere to put your suitcase unless you block the entry. The breakfast is mediocre at best and certainly not worth the added cost. I have stayed at many Best Western hotels over the years and this was probably my worst experience by far.

Basic, but nice

Quite a basic hotel, nothing particularly fancy about it. But it was clean, with friendly staff, and surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants.

There is on-street parking, and a public underground carpark directly across the street, but no free parking within the hotel. There is a notice that parking is in the underground carpark, but I don't know if it is subsidised for guests. I arrived in the evening and was leaving early the next morning, so I parked for free on the street.

As far as I could tell, the dining area only does breakfast. However there are plenty of bars/restaurants in all directions surrounding the hotel so you won't have to travel far for dinner.

Overall, I couldn't fault the hotel... especially for the low price!

It was a little far from the Sciences Po campus where I was working, but otherwise it was a nice place. The elevator has a fun surprise, that I won't ruin. The room was spacious with good wifi, a nice view, and a full bath. My colleague had the breakfast, and I have to admit I was annoyed with myself for not getting up early enough to have it before my morning meeting! it looked great.

Delightful Stay

Right in the center of town and just near reasonable underground parking. Corner room with light from two sides was delightful. Hotel staff were professional as well as cheerful. Breakfast was not included, but substantial. All local sights were very walkable as well as a surprising treat. For three days, the Best Western Art Hotel was a good value and in addition provided a jumping off point for day trips to Normandy community, including Omaha beach.

Hotel was very central. Staff were helpful and friendly. I was lucky enough to have a fabulous view of a tree-lined square and the modern bridge over the Bassin du Commerce from my 5th floor room. Room wasn't huge it had a very nice bathroom.

Great hotel, for business travelling.

I spent only one night, the hotel is really good. I don’t know exactly the neighborhoods so I can’t judge it. In the hotel you will be surprised by the lift, is designed like a shower. Very funny. Close to the hotel, there is an Asiatic restaurant and Irish pub. The view from the room is on the port.

25th wedding anniversary

The hotel is well situated for many of the sights shops and cafe restaurants. Parking is cheap enough either on the road outside or in the carpark across thd road. Free wifi is always a bonus when away from home. We used thd train to travel into Paris for a fantastic wedding anniversary. The hotel staff were superb and printed our e-tickets as they did not arrive before we left home. Considering the busy location oc the hotel and our balcony overlooking the street we found our room to be peaceful... Thank you

Ayant l'habitude des hôtels et des séjours professionnels j'ai été très surprises de cet hôtel. Je m'attendais à un service de meilleure qualité.
Cela commence dès l'arrivée, l'hôtel mentionne un parking sur le site hôtel.com qui n'existe pas, la personne à la réception ne peut pas éditer de facture le jour J \"parce que c'est la règle ici\" passons je perdrai du temps le lendemain matin. La chambre n'est pas propre, les draps sont tachés et qu'est-ce que le l'hôtel est bruyant et mal isolé. Je connais la vie personnelle de mon voisin sur le bout des doigts et sa préférence à prendre une longue douche à 1h30 du matin. Bref je n'étais pas reposée entre deux journées de travail.

Das Parken muss wohl organisiert sein, am Wasser ist es wohl am günstigsten, am Wochenende ist es sehr voll.
Ich hatte ein Zimmer im oberen Stock, dass eines morgens nach Abwasser roch. Ich denke die Fallhöhe der Klospülungen ist zu hoch und die Entlüftung des Fallrohres zu klein, so dass Wasser aus dem Geruchsverschluss durch Unterdruck im Fallrohr angesogen wird und dieser deshalb nicht mehr funktioniert. Das Frühstück ist nichts besonderes, das Zimmer recht klein.

Très bon séjour avec une vue imprenable. Gros bémol la salle de déjeuner est trop petite. Les clients sont les uns sur les autres ce qui est fort déplaisant. On est pas obligé de supporter les conversations des autres.

- Get \"a buzzer\" at reception. Easier than calling after personnel.
- parking instruction, on site, was wage.
- It would have helped if reception would have actually known at least one (or any) place to eat, being actually open at sunday evening 19:00. France, only bars open at 10 blocks radius, stay hungry, live with snacks.

C’est hôtel est très bien à découvrir .

Séjour de trois jours, le havre est une ville très animé.on n’a pu voir Deauville, Honfleur, c’est quand même beaucoup plus touristique très peu de place pour se garer trop de monde .
Nous avons préféré Le Havre , beaucoup de restaurants et de choses à voir et à découvrir. L’hôtel il reste des finitions a effectuer de peinture notamment !! Le personnel est à notre écoute, il ce plie à nous exigences, ils sont très serviable et très gentil. Dans l’ensemble agréable séjour dans cette hôtel.

Pas de parking à l’hôtel. Du coup parking payant en face.
Chambre petite.
La salle de bain est minuscule. La douche a plus la taille d’un placard que d’une douche…
La salle petit déjeuner n’est en fait qu’une partie de l’entrée sans réelle séparation.
Un seul ascenceur, petit et lent.
Pour une chaîne telle que Best Western, le standing de la prestation n’y est pas, d’autant que le tarif est lui bien B.W…
Bref plus un attrape touriste qu’autre chose.
Seul le personnel extrêmement serviable relève le niveau de la prestation par sa gentillesse.

Arrivé vers 16 h 30 j'ai facilement trouvé l'Etablissement situé non loin de la salle de spectacles le Volcan. L' hôtel, dans lequel je ne devais pzsser qu'un nuit, m'a semblé charmant, la réception sympathique, avec en plus de jolis éléments de décoration intérieure. La chambre était spatieuse et propre, avec un fauteuil et une table murale pour se restaurer, la salle de bain assez pratique. Seul petit bémol, la douche n'est pas entièrement fermée, on mouille un peut le sol. La nuit a été paisible, après une bonne soirée passée en centre ville du Havre. Des tisanes étaient en plus offertes.Rapport qualité-prix tout à fait correcte.

Très déçue d un contretemps de dernière minute. La chambre deluxe réservée m est passée sous le nez pour cause de travaux de dernière minute, la réceptionniste a été très gentille et a proposé un appartement à 500m à la place, j’ai accepté cette alternative mais quelle déception de n avoir pu bénéficier d une vue superbe sur le bassin et les avantages dus à cette chambre . C est un immense chagrin que j éprouve malgré la solution proposée, l appartement est très correct et ne manque de rien mais ce n était pas ce que j avais réservé. Merci tout de même au personnel d avoir fait de son mieux

Sehr schönes Hotel, mit Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer und in guter, zentraler Lage (Es besteht direkt neben dem Hotel die Möglichkeit zur Teilnahme einer Stadtrundfahrt.). Parkplätze befinden sich in geringer Entfernung zum Hotel.
Die Angestellten sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Gelungene Überraschung ist der Lift... :)

Fazit:
Schönes Hotel um auch mal länger zu bleiben.

hôtel bruyant, sans clim. petit problème de propreté mais rien de grave. Par contre nous avons eu deux soucient. Je pense que dans un hôtel à ce prix nous ne devrions pas avoir cela.
- Commande 1 jus de fruit périmé depuis 2017.
- Notre chambre n'a pas été nettoyée entre les deux jours , réponse de la réceptionniste \"sa arrive ....\".
Ni retournerai jaùais
