The Palace hotel was lovely, the staff were very helpful, especially with my very limited Italian. Check-in was really quick and easy, same with check-out.
The room was spacious and clean, felt modern inside, bed was super comfortable and the whole bathroom was lovely.
The view from the balcony was great, across to the mountains in the distance.

Breakfast alone makes this hotel worth choosing

We arrived early and for a small additional amount we got a nicer room right away. WiFi worked fine. The breakfast was to die for. I have nothing but good to say about our experience.

We arrived after 10pm due to a flight delay and the restaurant in the hotel was closed so we ended up without food the first night. The receptionist suggested we go and get some food from a nearby supermarket but with 2 kids under the age of 4 this was a bit impossible as they wanted to sleep. It would have been nice if there was a vending machine or a snack bar. The room was big, very clean and modern. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower was a bit small. The breakfast was ok. Also it would have been nice if we had an electric kettle in the room.

Modern hotel midway between Bergamo and Milan

Stayed here three nights whilst attending a nearby festival. The hotel is modern, spacious and comfortable. The staff were excellent - genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was enormous, but rather stark - no pictures or artwork on the wall. But it had a balcony and a view across fields with horses. Very rural. Breakfast was okay; but dinner was really very good indeed. My only problem is to do with noise. There was a coach load of teenagers staying in the hotel one night, some of whom decided singing at 2am was acceptable. It sounded like they were in the room with me, such was the lack of sound insulation. But apart from that, a perfectly pleasant hotel.

Pretty characterless boring place in non descript neighbourhood. Twenty mins to Bergamo Old Town which was worth visiting. 11km from Bergamo Airport which was perfect for our early morning flight.

Definitely not a four star hotel.

Boring hotel. Not sure which organisation awarded four stars but this is inaccurate. Despite booking a suite with mini kitchen, no cutlery or crockery were available. Only cups were flimsy plastic ones. Restaurant was inadequate and did not open at all during the day or on Saturday and Sunday evenings except for breakfast which closed promptly with a locked door and a curtain. Defintely not a hotel for a holiday.

Palace Hotel

This place has the makings of a good hotel, but they need to sort out some issues. I understand the hotel is new or recently refurbished, and that's how it feels - not quite finished. The room was quite basic and clean, but there was no information pack or any literature at all describing, for example, the hotel's services, restaurant, area info - which is unusual. One tiny single bed, when it could easily accommodate a double, and it didn't feel warm enough to me. The bathroom fittings are good quality though.

The restaurant is overpriced and the food is poor, breakfast selection is good and what you would expect from a 4 star.

The biggest problem is transport, unless you have a car or can walk 30 mins to the nearest town (verdellino where there is a train station) then forget it. Bus services are sporadic, licensed taxis need to come from Bergamo making them very expensive ( I paid 58euros to do 7km !). The private car arranged for me by the hotel manager took me to Trezzo for my concert, but then failed to pick me up again, leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere until 3am - he made excuses saying his car broke down !

Management were pleasant enough in dealing with my complaints, but they need to sack the chef. They didn't charge for my main course - which was a joke - but they should have paid me to eat, especially after their so called taxi left me stranded the night before, outside for 3 hours on a cold wet night !

Fix the restaurant & get a decent driver !

Nicely finished hotel but it's on a main road outside the town on the edge of what would be a council estate in the UK, near a road full of working girls on an evening.

Finishing work on landscaping still needs to be completed but main issue was the customer service, or lack of, never been anywhere quite as bad, slow and uninterested, it took 40 minutes to check out in the morning and there were only 2 people in front of me.. the girl had no sense of urgency at all.

Very nice hotel, but you need to have a car!

It is a very nice hotel, but it is in the middle of a residential neighborhood with no convenient public transportation. A previous review claimed this hotel was very convenient to stay in for one night if you are flying in and out of Bergamo airport. Though it is 10 km from the airport that is as the crow flies and it is really a 20-30 minute and 35-40 euro cab ride away. You can take a train but you have to take a shuttle to the train station, then take the train, and then get a cab from the train station to the hotel. We did that one time and it was 15 euro for the 5 minute cab ride. So if you want a hotel for an overnight stay by Bergamo airport--stay in Bergamo, easy, inexpensive 10 min shuttle from airport to the town and walk a few blocks to your hotel.

Rent og pænt hotel. Hotellets gæster var primært småbørnsfamilier, så vær opmærksom på dette, hvis man leder efter et stille hotel. Der var mulighed for aftensmad i hotellets restaurant, selvom vi tjekkede ind omkring kl. 21. Venligt og imødekommende personale. Fitnesscenterets faciliteter var noget beskedne, og træningslokalerne havde enormt dårlig udluftning.

Ho prenotato un pernottamento nella struttura perché sul sito veniva precisato che la distanza dall'aeroporto era di circa 11km e c'era la presenza di una navetta per il trasferimento. In realtà la struttura dista più di mezz'ora e non è presente nessuna navetta. A causa di questo disagio abbiamo passato la notte in aeroporto, nonostante avessi contatto la struttura per esporre il problema. Sconsigliatissimo

Ho scelto questo Hotel perchè uno tra i più vicini a quelli proposti con il pacchetto biglietto ingresso + soggiorno dal sito di Leolandia (prenotando però in maniera svincolata da esso). Infatti è davvero a pochi minuti dal parco.
Ha risposto alle nostre esigenze ed aspettative, l' unica nota dolente è relativa alla zona in cui sorge che pare davvero di una periferia disagiata. Questo è importante solo se si pensa di voler uscire la sera a fare due passi, restando in hotel o muovendosi in auto il problema è risolto.

Ho alloggiato nel fine settimana al palace hotel, devo dire che l'esperienza è stata davvero positiva, dal check-in al checkout abbiamo trovato sempre personale gentile e competente. Camera ben pulita, servizio cortesia presente, ottima colazione con possibilità di usufruirne sino alle 10.00.
L'hotel si trova in una posizione comoda per visitare il parco divertimenti Leolandia, facile da raggiungere e con un comodo parcheggio interno

Visited for business trip.
Staff is extremely rude and cuts off client conversation.
Location is worse, has nothing near, if you don't travel with car, it is a meaningless location.
Room is very clean and spacy, but that is just about it.
Nothing to show, nothing to comment except the rudeness of staff.
I used free-night discount (10 days compensation from hotels.com), and paid less than 20 euro.
If I only knew that the staff is very rude and undereducated, I would have spent it elsewhere.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, even to those I hate the most.
It's just cruel to recommend this hotel, unless the one you recommend this hotel to murdered someone close to you.

It is reasonable to assume that this hotel has not a single kind staff.

Bella struttura, camera spaziosa e funzionale, TV con canali SKY; ottima e varia la colazione. Animazione serale per i bimbi. Ampio parcheggio gratuito. Comodo per Leolandia (5 minuti in auto) e per il vicino ospedale.
Abbiamo richiesto una culla in camera (ci è stato fatto pagare un piccolo sovrapprezzo), trovata pronta in camera al nostro arrivo.

O Hotel é excelente e o restaurante de alto nivel. Unico ponto negativo que tenho para falar foi que eu deixei 4,70€ em cima da mesa e quando voltei a noite ja não estava mais ai!!! Nunca esperaria isso de um hotel desse nivel, por isso fiquei desapontado.

Vi använde hotellet som bas för utflykter i Milano-området. Funkade bra. Fräsch och rent. Kvällstid efter mörkret var det en hel del prostituerade i området, men om man har bil och inte behöver röra sig till fots funkar det bra.

Ok hotel with a good breakfast. Our room was in 5th floor, but the side of main road and traffic noise was a bit disturbing.

We arrived late after midnight. Hotel was easy to find and plenty of parking slots. Good service and we got extra blankets for kids when asked.

Parliamo di un buon 3 stelle però ci si sta bene .

Hotel a 5 minuti da Leolandia

Hotel scelto per la breve distanza dal parco di Leolandia. L'hotel è moderno, pulito, la camera spaziosa e confortevole. Abbiamo cenato in hotel con un menù a buffet a prezzo fisso e il cibo era buono. Unico difetto è il quartiere al limite del malfamato: siamo stati più che contenti di cenare all'interno e non uscire per trovare un locale col bambino al seguito. Personale cordiale e disponibile. week end organizzato per la nostra bimba tra gioco e natura ,due giorni di divertimenti a Leolandia e prima del rientro parco faunistico Le Cornelle assolutamente da visitare sia per piccoli che per grandi,splendidamente gestito e curato,pulitissimo con tante aree svago per i bimbi e posti ristoro ottimi.

Hotel fantastico situato a 4 km dal parco di Leolandia. Essendo una famiglia di 5 persone anche se non richiesta ci è stata riservata la suite. Che dire...... tutto fantastico dell'arredo alla vasca idromassaggio alla pulizia.
Personale disponibile e ottimo anche il ristorante con scelta di menù alla carta o fisso.

personale cordiale, hotel moderno ed accogliente, grande parcheggio gratuito con cancello, ottima ed abbondante colazione a buffet, camere pulite, bagni ottimi, camere silenziose. Consigliato davvero
