Timothy Beach Resort was a reasonably good choice for our stay on St. Kitts. The good: 1. Right next to the beach; 2. Spacious balcony (we had an ocean view); 3. Walking distance to some great restaurants/bars on the Frigate Bay Strip. The bad: 1. Some of those bars had very loud music until 2-3am; 2. The furnishings in the room were a bit dated; 3. The resort had beach chairs and umbrellas, but guests were aggressively kicked out of them 30-45 minutes before sunset so the chairs could be put away, which makes absolutely no sense with a west-facing beach resort!

Stayed in unit 36, it was clean and well presented. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. View from the balcony was stunning. Wifi was fast and we didn't have any problems with it at all.
TV was not tuned in but didn't need it in the end. The unit as a whole will soon be in need of some TLC maintenance and updating. Would be nice to have basic condiments in the kitchen and maybe a few more glasses and dishes.
Restaurant was very good, especially breakfast.
No complaints about the beach and lounges - LOVED IT!!!!
My only real complaint has nothing to do with the resort, but people should be aware of the fact that the beach bars along Frigate Bay has a tendency to blare music at 2 to 3 o'clock in the morning!!!
That is the only reason I would not return to the resort. But if you're the kind of partying person who stay up late I would highly recommend Timothy Beach Resort.

This is our second visit to Timothy Beach, the rooms have been re-decorated and new air con fitted. They are currently installing solar panels on the rooftops. My only niggle is there is no courtesy room. When you have a late flight home and have to spend the day on the beach you cant shower and change. It wouldn't take much to have something and then guests could book a time slot. Something to think about !

Room was spacious with kitchen.
Patio was fine.
Beach chairs could use updating and an increase in numbers as well as umbrellas.
New access road through the resort to Marina
may prove inconvenient.
On site restaurant and bar are separate from the resort. Food was fine with some needed increase in staff.
The “strip” was quiet and responds to the cruise ships in port with their amenities.
All in all, the Timothy Beach Resort meets all the basic needs with quiet dignity.

I stayed at Timothy Beach Resort 10/16/25-10/19/25. My room and location was not ideal. The room had a wet smell. I had to call guess service about an issue with the phone in the room, also had an issue with the toilet handle. The rooms need to be inspected before guess arrives. I was not impressed with this resort, I wouldn’t stay here again. It wasn’t worth my money.

We loved our stay at Timothy Beach Resort! The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and it is right on the beach so the views and beach days were amazing. It is also within very close walking distance to several restaurants and bars. We will be staying here again next time we visit. I highly recommend!

We only spent 1 night at this motel. The room and furniture need to be replaced. The bathroom shoukd be redone. It was very noisy with loud music until around 2 am from the bars across the street.
We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs. I woykd never stay here again.

It's a lovely, affordable, quiet area with lots of options for casual and formal dining. The beach is clean and calm with lots or beach chairs to rent (or free if staying at Timothy Beach Resort). There is also a bit of night life at the several bars and diners along The Stip. Taxis are always available to take you around the island or wherever you want to go. Timothy Beach Resort is a lovely, relaxing, comfortable, safe and clean place to stay. I highly recommend for the budget traveller.

We will definitely stay here again! We had an issue with our tv and they upgraded our room without hesitation - far exceeding our expectations of customer service! Both rooms were very clean, had comfortable beds and great AC. The location is fantastic.

Rooms were basic but very clean suited us just fine. The bed was horribly hard and uncomfortable; we have stayed at many Caribbean hotels and know not to expect super comfy beds but this one I think was hardest and most uncomfortable. Staff were very sweet and accommodating. The private beach area was very nice with use of chairs and umbrella. Nice location near the strip for many food options!

The property is a great base point to explore the island especially the southeast peninsula (Majors Bay a must for secluded beach with clear turquoise waters. While the rooms are not high luxury if that is how you travel, we found them quite functional and very reasonable. The staff ( especially Raol(sp) at the Dock bar ) are very friendly and helpful. While the nearby bars and restaurants can be noisy on occasion ( if your room faces them ) we weren’t terribly bothered and the food at the ‘strip’ restaurants and bars is quite good ( Sommelier our favorite)

We would definitely return on a return trip.

Perfect accommodations!
We’ve found other islands and areas to be not be very walkable, but this area definitely is.
Groceries and tons of dining options close. The public beach is perfect and the resort has chairs and umbrellas for guest use.
For general reference: toiletries aren’t provided, so don’t forget to pack your own

Checking in was easy property outdoors are clean. Room was clean also.. pool was clean and easy access.

Need to pay attention to the pillows and sheets. I would like to think that the pillow cases were washed together with something cotton as there was some residue of white stuff. For the rest it was clean. I Would stay there again.

The room was ok. The reception to the restaurant closes to the hotel was not welcoming. There were no other customers there, yet no one greeted us. We sat ourselves and then got the menu from the bar after we asked for it and was told “at the bar”. We left without ordering. The next restaurant was more welcoming, but the food was horrible. It looked and tasted like a mixture of old leftovers put together.

This is our 2nd stay at Timothy Beach and ut was better than last year. The beach is very accessible and we snorkeled right there and ot was the best.
My only complaint is the mattress and pillows are awful. But hey, we didnt go there to sleep.

Our stay was without knowing the property would be challenging for wheelchair use. However, the receptionist did everything possible including a upgrade to a location that was more wheelchair accessible. And that consideration continued with all the resort staff, doing all they could to make our six day stay less demanding for the wheelchair use. Thanks again to all.

This is an old style property which gives large rooms and large balconies. We had an upstairs sea view room which was a delight. The rooms are quite basic but were clean and serviced every day to a good standard. The gardens are very well maintained and lots of lovely flowers. The front desk was overseen by Laurel who had a lovely smile and was always the go to person.

Saw a Mongoose . Manicured grounds So accommodating. The restaurant served delicious food. Don’t miss the Johnny cakes! Can walk from pool to ocean. Wish we had known how lovely it is as we would have stayed longer! Many other places to eat within walking distance that have beach views and tables where you can put your feet in the soft sand.

This a very good value hotel with its own beach and restaurants nearby. It is basic: no shampoo samples in the bathroom, no daily free coffee in the room, no room safe, etc... Nonetheless, service is good and the property is clean. I enjoyed a restful time here.

The hotel rooms are spacious, good AC, the personal balcony good for time alone sunbathing. The swimming pool is a reasonable size with good outdoor facilities. The staff are exceptional. I was there for seven nights it took three days before they came to clean the room One morning I found mouse poop on my hat all they gave you was to small bars of soap no shampoo conditioner or lotion. This hotel is dated. Decor can use some updating. Upon check-in I was not pleased. The bathroom had not been cleaned since prior guests and it was too late to get it cleaned since the housekeepers are gone by checkin time. Issue was resolved the next day. The hotel is very conveniently placed. Right next to Frigate bay beach and the strip for food and entertainment. Very budget friendly. I however don’t see myself staying here again

We originally booked a Mountain View room then realised it was a bit small. When we asked the receptionist if we could upgrade she offered us a lovely cheery room with a big verandah overlooking the sea and the bay and gave it to us for the original price. It was a great room for the last two nights of our holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed this friendly hotel.

Nice to have beach chairs and umbrellas set out free for our use. Although on a public beach the resort chairs where at the end of the beach and there was no issue with non-resident beach goers.
Disappointed that there was no shampoo supplied so had to go shopping day 1. The small grocery store within walking distance was well stocked.

This resort is steps away from the beach. Being in the Caribbean side the water is calmer. Timothy Beach resort is a nice resort but is on the basic side. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly.

The resort was very clean, quiet and all employees were very friendly and helpful. It is not a fancy, upscale resort but the sand is nice; the beach is great and you can walk to several restaurants and shops.

Just please replace the beach chairs by the pool! They look nice but are so uncomfortable!

The Timothy Beach Resort was a nice place to stay for a night. We walked to a number of places - a convenience store, a number of cabanas serving food, and along the beach. We swam in the pool, and the restaurant served tasty food! We'd stay there again!

Right on Frigate Bay Beach, with a nice pool, beach bar and restaurant. The room was basic, but clean, attractive and comfortable. (Mine included a fridge) I suggest paying the extra for a sea view, as the verandas are much larger, with lots of furniture compared to the mountain view ones. They have done lots of renovations and enhancements which are still ongoing. There are tons of dinning options steps away.

The room wasn’t very clean. There was some plastic bag or something under the bed and some dirt is something on the floor of the shower. The bed was hard as a rock and uncomfortable pillows. Pool was closed. Food was great and the restaurants on the beach were great

This is a great place for people who are not obsessed with generic accommodations (Like a Hilton). This is casual, comfortable, and clean and the ocean views are great. The restaurant has a limited but tasty menu. The staff are helpful. I tested positive for covid and had to stay a few extra days. The hotel staff made quarantine as easy as it could be. Frigate Beach is nice and you can walk from here to other beaches if you don't mind an uphill hike. Staff were gracious with answering our many questions. I'll be back!

Such a great hotel! When we come back to St. Kitts we will stay here again. It’s right on the beach which is perfect and has a lot of dining options nearby too. The room was spacious and the balcony overlooking the water was perfect. The staff is really friendly and helped us out when we missed a tour we had scheduled. I highly recommend!
