Fantastic view from room. Pool was large and clean; excellent for laps. Out of coffee and creamer for the room but the office was able to supply some. The first day the room was not serviced. We stayed 5 nights. Seeing monkeys from the room was a delight. Restaurant food was exceptional. The staff was very attentive. We would go back if we return.

Everything about the Mount Nevis Hotel was superb! The rooms are clean and cheerful with gorgeous, to-die-for, views. The bed (yes, going there) -- was the best and I slept so well. The staff is beyond friendly and let me tell you, it's been a LONG time since the management and owner took the time to greet us and check in with us just the right amount of times. The food was great. The atmosphere, perfect.

Peace and well-being, sense of safe/security (not that it was needed -- just good to know as I'm an \"older\" traveler). Great guests (iinteresting!). I'll never stay any place else on Nevis.

This is a charming hotel. The rooms are traditional, with some modern upgrades (the TV has a US Roku - a good choice for US visitors, although unfortunately it doesn't really work for UK visitors).

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ample parking outside the rooms.

There is no buffet breakfast, and unfortunately the breakfast options are quiet expensive (approx US$70 for two people, which is a bit excessive for a simple breakfast).

The pool, while short, has a spectacular view and is a lovely place to sunbathe.

On balance, I would strongly recommend this hotel to my friends.

Mount Nevis hotel is set in a beautiful location overlooking St Kitts and the channel between Nevis and St. Kitts.
The staff is excellent and friendly and accommodating.
The rooms have a beautiful view and are clean.
There are some things that can use an update, the sliders don’t slide easily and a lose tile on the patio here or there.
That said we would go back in a heartbeat

Everything you need for a beautiful trip to Nevis

Our stay here was really comfortable. The staff are warm and friendly and made us feel at home. The on-site restaurant had good food and drinks all freshly made, we enjoyed dinner as the sun set and breakfast with the amazing view.

The room itself was spacious, quiet, clean and bright with good facilities for a short or longer stay. Everything worked well.

The location on the side of the hill gives amazing views across the water to St Kitts, with grazing donkeys and monkeys in the foreground. A lovely setting. All of Nevis is easily reachable from the hotel and the staff are happy to help you finding your way around the island.

The room was huge with a kitchen and a view of the Caribbean from on top of Mt. Nevis. A very relaxing place. The staff was very helpful arranging for a rental car when Thrifty always seemed to be closed, and when we tried to check in with American Airlines and couldn't get through. Rooms are air conditioned which is probably really important later in the year, altho we were visiting in Jan. Many great restaurants and beaches are five minutes away by car. The property needs some repairs - our patio door did not lock and the room safe was broken, tiles cracked here and there. Breakfast option available - but beware: we were charged for refills of our coffee, ended up paying $16 for 4 cups!

The Mount Nevis Hotel was the best stay on our trip to St.Kitts/Nevis. The view was gorgeous, food, service, and assistance outstanding. Next time we will stay the majority of trip there, we had an amazing time. Highly recommend and were impressed by this hotel.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Although I've been to Nevis several times, I had no idea it existed. Being that it is off the main road, it is not easily seen. The entrance (long, dark, bumpy road in need of paving) offers no clue of the gem that is perched at the end of it. The hotel itself is really nice -- nice rooms with great views. The only draw back to my stay was the fact that there was no free tv option. If you don't have a subscription to a streaming service, you won't be able to utilize the tv. All in all, I enjoyed my stay.

Fantastic Resort! Four Seasons Service, w/o the $!

Fantastic Resort! I would absolutely recommend this Hotel as a Business or Family stay. The staff are terrific and the owner, Noreen, is on site everyday making sure everyone is accommodated. Beautiful views from the pool and restaurant. Small bar with a lively bartender will stay open as long as you want. I can't wait to bring my family back!
The villas are split with a large efficiency room in front and smaller room in back, which connects thru a vestibule allowing a family to have one large 1/2 villa with adjoining rooms. It's a genius layout.
Call the hotel direct and speak with Noreen before coming, she'll be sure your expectations are met.
I rented a car for my stay, the roads are good and no traffic outside of downtown. Lots to see and do in Nevis!

Mt Nevis is a fantastic location, close enough to the beach when in the mood for a beach run, yet away from any hustle and bustle for when peaceful quiet time is wanted. PLEASE NOTE ... the RESTAURANT is NOT RUN by the HOTEL. Which is probably why the service was horrible and the food below average.

Gorgeous view, pool, grounds and room. Staff excellent, especially Joella, the manager. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and always with a smile. Restaurant closed while we were there. A shuttle was provided to nearby restaurants (due to restaurant closure), but a car would be advisable for longer stays. Peaceful, quiet hillside apts well maintained, furnished tastefully and basically. We were happy to stay there all day enjoying the beauty.

The Mount Nevis Hotel felt like what I imagine a true old fashioned Caribbean hotel stay would have been like in the not so distant past. The hotel is in a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean. There is no immediate beach access but the hotel arranges a quick and comfortable transport to 3 local beaches at no cost. The rooms are simple, but comfortable and clean. There is a small outdoor patio restaurant and bar, as well as a small hotel pool. The restaurant had quite good (if a bit on the expensive side) food, with lots of fresh local ingredients. Babita made us what I would rate the best (and also complimentary!) rum punch we have ever had in the Caribbean to welcome us to the hotel. When we asked her for some water to take to the beach one day, she not only provided it with a smile but garnished it with lots of mint and lemon - delicious. And all of the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and truly warm. We we would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to friends and family. This is not a big luxury hotel by any means, but one of the most pleasant we have visited in our travels south.
