The lobby level is quite attractive. The bar/lounge is non-existent. The superior room is rather small and the bathroom, while beautiful is very narrow and the shower head leaked. The bedroom carpet had what looked like a large bleach stain. Carpet in the upstairs hall appeared dirty. Overall judged high on initial appearance and low on maintenance.

This was a most beautiful place to stay, very friendly staff and a great breakfast. The rooms were quite nice and included a balcony. It would have been nice to spend more time at the hotel, yet we were passing through so didn't get to enjoy all it had to offer as much as we would have liked.

Restaurant closed on sunday due to lack of staff, room service advertised 7 days but no luck. Expidia pic shows balcony with sun launcher and bath / spa. But that only comes with the blue suite. Rooms looked newly refurbished and are great same bathroom. Overall great stay as reception offered different dinneing places

Worst place i ve stayed in Italy. We stayed here for only one night. When we checked in my wife asked for an iron: they said they don t have iron in the rooms and they can t provide one and they said that we can use the laundry room to iron our clothes but it was closed on Sunday. So we got up Monday morning and my wife goes to the concierge for the iron and they say they can t help we are checking out in couple of hours. I have stayed in thousands of hotels and that was the first time i am facing such a treatment.

Value for money in a beautiful art deco building. Close to train and bus, both about 20 minutes from Bologna Central. High ceilings, individual balconies overlooking lush gardens with fountain and waterfall. Central dining/breakfast area nicely appointed, but only the one area, plus and outside casual dining area not available when we visited in May 25. Breakfast is included. Rooms are small but clean. Village shops and restaurants are still gearing up for summer with many renovations going on, and the train line undergoing some sort of major construction. Easy to envisage it thriving in a few months time.

We stayed in the Blue Suite and the room was amazing, we loved it; especially the view and the hot tub on the balcony! The hotel was quiet and clean, breakfast was great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, it was an excellent stay and the perfect way to celebrate my partner's 50th Birthday. It was also very convenient for the Unipol Arena. I would absolutely stay here again.

The perfect end to our trip. We stayed for one night in a loft room. There was a small balcony with a view across the neighbouring rooftops and up to the Basilica of San Luca. If we’d had more time we would have followed the hiking trail up there, which was easily walkable or just a short drive from the hotel. There was a storm the evening we arrived, rain, thunder and lightning and so we had to have dinner at the hotel. It was fabulous! Excellent service, delicious food, well presented and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast the following morning was also excellent with plenty of choice, fresh and dried fruits, pastries, cereal, egg, cold meats and delicious cakes. The parking at the hotel was safe and secure. It was well worth the charge and reassuring to know that we didn’t have to find on street parking on arrival so requesting a space at booking is recommended.

We had a wonderful overnight stay got out last night in Bologne, Italy before flying back to LA. We had the Blue Suite which is on the top floor and overlooks beautiful hills. It has a large patio with sundeck and our own private jacuzzi. The room is large and nicely decorated in blue furnishings and bathroom tile. Very spacious and upon arrival we were treated to a fruit plate and the breakfast bar was free as well. We received excellent service!! We would stay here again. Also there is a nice restaurant and bar inside and a gym. There is a beautiful garden out front with a few seats that my husband and I enjoined as well.

There was a party with a very loud live band playing til after 11pm next door. Called front desk to provide so time of info (like cutoff time for music) and they say “I don’t hear it, I don’t know”. We had an early morning flight so we literally got no sleep.
The air conditioning wasn’t working either so not only could we not sleep but also no air and couldn’t open the balcony doors for fresh air as the music was obnoxiously loud.

Horrible hotel, I would stay away

I made a mistake when I booked the place, I called the hotel 20 mins later and they refused to change the date or refund the money. It’s been the worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life, stay away from this place.

Very nice hotel with free secure parking, close to the motorway and a short 20 min (€2) bus ride into the centre of Bologna. Good restaurant, and other restaurants close by. Ideal for a stop over if travelling south and for visiting Bologna.

Outdated room, A/C cannot go under 23°c...and the noise of it was unbearable and kept us from sleeping 1 minute, the mattress was extremely firm and not comfy at all, and you sleeping litteraly eith your neighbors thanks to the wall paper thin, rust everywhere in the bathroom, the category of this hotel is bot at what you should expect for a 4 stars

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was in a quiet neighborhood, and the staff was very helpful in getting taxis and giving us restaurant recommendations. The room was modern yet still maintained that \"old school\" charm. We even had a little terrace - loved it!

the hotel, decor and all was great. service was mostly great, except i had attempted to get assistance from staff at night while i was away from the hotel in trying to get a taxi to bring me back to the hotel and the night staff person was unable to assist; and i think there was a bit of a language barrier. they did have the most amazing dessert-some kind of hazelnut, gelato-like yumminess with chocolate and crumbled cookies!

Good location for what we wanted to do in Bologna and we got a very good deal. Very nice rooms and very good evening dining. However, breakfast left a bit to be desired: had to ask for skimmed milk which they first day said they didn't have but they then provided it later; poor selection of breads and hot breakfast items and the coffee machine didn't work for half of the time.; inadequate number of breakfast staff to keep what was available constantly topped up. Train service close by into Bologna every half hour at 1.5 Euros!

Perfect, but for the noise!

Getting details about train times and general tourist information was like pulling teeth! More communication at check-in and a folder containing the usual touristy blurb in the room would have been very useful.
Our room was lovely, but every sound from our neighbour’s bathroom could be heard all too clearly......!
The Hotel hosted a function catering to over a hundred people on our last night, and chose to rearrange the dining room at 12:30pm! The noise had to be heard to be believed. In fairness a call to reception put it right.
All in all, a very pleasant stay, despite the above.

Amazing hotel and great value

Stayed one night while traveling through the Bologna area. Hotel is a short walk from the train station and a 15 minute ride from Bologna centrale station. Very friendly staff, good value for the room and the food. The room was extremely clean and nicely decorated.

Boutique hotel close to shopping and airport

Our family of fourteen spent a few nights here as we flew into Bologna on our way over to Florence and then Madrid. This was a precious find. As son as we walked in the door we were greeted and felt so very comfortable by the staff. Food is amazing do not leave this hotel until you have tried there lasagna!!! All the food was wonderful but yummy the lasagna was soooooo

Blue Room Suite was incredible!

Only stayed one night, wish we would have been able to use the hotel to its full potential. Restaurant food was excellent, staff was friendly and very helpful, and the room was incredibly cute and Modern. Even had a jacuzzi on the patio. Will definitely return on my next trip to Italy.

The beds was not very comfortable. It is clean but really it should be a good 3 star hotel. It really depend on what rate you pay for the hotel as to its value. This said, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant at the hotel has a good selection on offer and rather reasonable. The food was of good quality.

Handy for the airport and a short stay

Stayed at this hotel for one night as close to Bologna airport. Easy to locate and close to main route to airport which took ten minutes to get to. Has a large free car park on site and a grassed area. Booking in and out was quick and easy. Continental breakfast was good. Rooms are a bit on the small side- good large bathroom. Would recommend it for a short stay if need a hotel close to the airport. Staff were fine and rooms very clean. No tea making facilities but took our own travel kettle.

I asked for a menu in English when my check came they charged me la carte for my food on two occasions. instead of my dinner costing me 18.00 I was charged 18.00 for the steak, six dollars for the potatoes, six dollars for the vegetables, and five dollars for the bread. when checking out the kept insisting that I took two bottles of water. after being cheated when purchasing the food I was told I couldn't bring other food into the hotel from other restaurants. they were have a function said they couldn't seat us, so I ask will order can you bring in up then they charged me the four dollars when they couldn't accommodate me. the bacon for breakfast was always raw.
