Rooms are fantastic and clean. Super comfortable beds. Loads of different areas to relax and swim with the options between the lengthy beach and the pool area.
Lots of activities and i really enjoyed the food at the buffet area.

Everywhere was immaculately clean . The staff were highly professional, pleasant , friendly , nothing was too much trouble , and all so genuine in their manner. This includes the cleaners , maintenance staff , porters , bar staff , restaurant staff, receptionists, taxi drivers, managers , boat house staff , and all other staff . The glass bottom boat trip was absolutely fantastic, thank you . The view from my room was amazing . I have had 3 day packages at this hotel in previous years, all very enjoyable and this is why I wished to return to stay . As a solo female traveller I felt extremely comfortable . I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again and hope to in the future. Thank you for such a great few days .

Great value for money

I travelled to Mauritius for business and find the Preskil excellent value for money. We chose the half board option and you can just not beat the price we paid for August. Even thought the weather was not great, we had one day and could make full use of all the watersport facilites. There is a glass bottom boat taking you out right in front of the property for snorkkeling and various other water sports. The buffet options are great and caters for everyone. I highly recomment Preskil but it is on the more windy and rainy part of the island.

Le Preskill island resort is nestled by a crystal-clear lagoon on the south east coast of Mauritius. What I liked most about the hotel is the stunning sea view, mountain, additional facilities, restaurant, and the overall atmosphere. The hotel's customer service is truly exceptional. The staff ( Alain, Mackline, Shenaz, Deepak, Ravi Sankonah, Ravi Teelwah, Chrisna, Anand, Pravin, Cindy ) were great, very welcoming and helpful. The food was terrific. The restaurant serves Mediterranean, local, Asian, and European cuisines.
I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday and the amenities were top-notch, with friendly staff, so I would definitely stay here again in the future.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. Despite paying for an all-inclusive package, I was told that i would be charged extra for a simple mocktail — even though it contained no alcohol. On top of that, a restaurant on the property were not included in the package, which defeats the purpose of booking all-inclusive in the first place.

Service was equally frustrating. I received a phone call at 10am, waking me up, just to be told I had to vacate the room by 11am — something that could have been communicated more politely or earlier without disturbing my rest.

Staff seemed indifferent and unwelcoming throughout my stay. I couldn't help but feel that my Mauritian passport may have influenced how I was treated, even though I reside in the UK. This is the most unprofessional hotel experience I’ve had, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Overall, very disappointing as I was looking forward to my stay.

Lovely resort with well maintained facilities. The resort holds up to the standard of luxury, and most definitely deserves the rating of 5 stars. Only downfall is that the food at the buffet is decent at best. I would recommend everyone to stay here, as it is also close to the airport.

The hotel is clean and caters for all types of mobility. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them and they engage in conversation and very polite.

The massage at the banyan spa was amazing and the on site dive centre, Scuba world, were first class. The equipment was excellent as was the crew who run it.

The hotel food was lovely and there was plenty of variety and choice regardless of your preference. There is even entertainment throughout the day in the pool and at night near to the bar.

You can use the SUP and canoes to explore the lagoon or sunbathe on plenty of loungers.

Would definitely return for a longer stay in the future. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Sad for HB they do not fill the fridge and have no drinks apart from wayer tea coffee. Huge let down. Staff talk between themselves and just ignore you.
Over 1h wait for them to bring us some toilet rolls.
Food is okish alcoholic drinks watered down or ots really cheap stuff they get in.

Amazing hotel, superb view. The room is beautiful. But for an all inclusive, they put just 2 cans of beer in the mini bar, and they don't fill it the next morning.
If you want to spend time in this beautiful room, you need to bring your own drinks, especially considering the bar is far from the room.
The food is excellent, drinks at the bar are really good.
Overall, really liked it. Excellent hotel.

Some of the absolute worse service I've experienced. Nothing was available in terms of food/drink on an \"all inclusive\" plan... had to call literally 3-4 times to get even basics like drinking water to the room

The staff across the border were indefirent at best... and on occasion outright rude

As well, the food quality was HORRIBLE. We actually just skipped lunch day 2 all together - it was that bad

Over all a disappointment. Had we paid full price, we got a very big discount on a last minute booking, I would be demanding a refund

I guess it just depends on what you want from your stay.

I have rated this property 2 stars purely due to the service levels of the staff. They are friendly but did not seem to have energy to give service the resort should have. Bar service was slow and no service at pool. Food options were repeated for vegetarian and there was not any flexibility if you wanted something to cater to vegetarians. It a shame as the staff who were attentive were over shadowed by the ones who lacked the enthusiasm! Could be 4/5 stars if this was better.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room, resort restaurants and staff were all excellent. However we have some comments where improvements could be made:
- limited range of reasonably priced wines in the resort restaurants.
- information on activities and attractions in the area provided was very limited. We were left to do our own online research which leads to concern over scams and unreliable providers. The resort should provide more information and advice here.
- the resort watersports facilities were limited (for example, only one very small windsurf sail was there, and only 1 out of 3 sailing craft was available (other 2 on the beach but we were told they were under repair - no sign of this being done).
- limited advice on local restaurants within walking distance (and no footpaths to access local areas).

The hotel has a lovely beach and a great set up. The buffet food was nice with some good options.
The hotel offered some free activities like paddle boarding or snorkelling which was a lot of fun.

The staff were not so helpful when asking questions or booking taxis etc but they were nice enough. Staff were a bit slow to acknowledge you when trying to get a drink when no one was around.

Nice hotel with an amazing view on the ocean and islands. Beach is Ok, but has lots of corals. Pool is nice. Service was very good. However, food was very disappointed! Had to wait for clean plates at the buffet…some items were missing with 1 hour left in the buffet time (breakfast and dinner)…some dishes lack taste others were bland! Crepes was so disappointing…waffles the same. Just really sad that the food was not good.

We had an amazing stay at Preskil and we had a lovely sea view where we could also see the pool. The bathroom was amazing with double sinks, powerful shower and a lot of space. The bed was massive and very comfy. The room was spacious and I loved the decor and aesthetics. Staff were lovely and we enjoyed the water skiing that was included. We also received a beach bag on arrival which was a lovely touch.

Keycard didn’t work several times throughout the day & it was never fixed as promised.

The key to the room did not work, went to reception 3 times to sort out the issue but they could not help, I had to leave the sliding unlocked to get out of the room.

I was told to call “0” for room service but tried for 10 mins and not answer, I had to walk over to order my food

Requested a scale at 1.30pm to weigh my suitcases but someone came around at 4pm as I was checking out.

Requested for someone to take my suitcases to reception before checking out but no one turned up and I had to drag the suitcases Myself as the taxi was waiting.

L'hotel Preskil Island est situé dans l'une des plus belle zone de l'Ile Maurice, face à l'Ile aux Aigrettes et proche de la magnifique plage de pointe d'Esny. tout y est prévu afin que les clients puissent profiter de la très grande piscine et de la plage. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables. Néanmoins, plusieurs bémols; tout d'abord, le petit déjeuner bien que complet n'est pas de très bonne qualité... les machines automatiques à café sont souvent en panne (4 sur 5 un matin) et cela devient une véritable cantine à l'heure de pointe. Les douches sont à peine tièdes, et les chambres mal insonorisées.... les restaurants sont chers et d'une qualité moins bonne qu'un grand nombre de table aux alentours. La plage est magnifique mais il y a énormément de courant, et beaucoup de rochers en pierre volcanique peuvent vous blesser si vous arrivez à nager... le vrai point fort réside dans le personnel d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle...

For the south of Mauritius and at a convenient distance to the airport, I really wouldn’t stay anywhere else. I have tried some other hotels and this stands out as the best. I’ve stayed here several times and this time Linda and Sorazen from the reception were stars in ironing out a minor issue in the room, a defective air conditioner (as some times these things happen) and the way they handled this minor situation thoroughly exceeded my expectations. Preskil enjoys a beautiful location and share the same waters as the Blue Bay Marine Park. But as in every hotel the staff stand out as the greatest asset. I look forward to returning .

Nice place and location, but room for improvement

We spent 2 days at the Preskil resort, while we were initially impressed with the design of the room we soon found that there was mold in a few places of the room.
My wife is allergic to mold so we requested them to move us to another room, they moved us to another room however once we settled in we realized that while the room was clean the bed was not the most comfortable.
This was disappointing as this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel and the bed was barely acceptable.

Love this place!! We stayed here for my birthday and had the best time ever! Beautiful property in a paradise setting. Excellent service--you can text the front desk for anything you need, restaurant reservations, ice, problems, requests, etc. The seafood restaurant and bar were really nice. I picked this property for the beauty, location close to airport and the included unlimited water sports: kayak, SUP, catamaran, laser boat, padalo. (maybe more I'm forgetting, we had our own snorkel gear) Very well worth it. Everyone was professional and pleasant. We didn't want to leave....

Location, location, location, this hotel is all about it. 15 mins from the airport and you are in a tranquil paradise with beautifully laid out rooms, plenty of space and a fabulous view. The rooms are spacious and perfectly decorated, spa services very relaxing, plenty of water sports available all day. Some service could be a little improved, for example check-in seemed to take a while, especially after a long flight but all in all a great spot to wind down.

Nice, modern (newly upgraded/remodeled) resort. Nice spa with good selection of treatments, also steam room, sauna available. Three restaurants in the resort area, nice food selection, menues are updated every day. Long beach area with access to different water sports. I had a very nice stay, the resort is very nice - you will have a good time.

It is in a great location, well kept and good facilities for kids and families.
But, the attention to detail and guest consideration is very lacking.
I booked a King bed room and was given a room with 2 single beds pushed together, however, they didn't even make the effort to make the 2 beds into a king bed, it was literally 2 single beds, still made as single beds pushed together.
I was in town for work and needed to sleep during the day as my work was at night. They decided to do construction work right above my room, after making a complaint about the noise, it stopped for all of 20min before starting again. It was so bad I needed ear protection and I ended up having to leave the building and sit at the hotel reception until it finished at 4pm. It was so loud it kept my business colleague awake as well who was in the building next door. I understand the need for construction but there was no notice or information about it before hand at all. With such a big resort being put directly underneath extremely loud construction is unacceptable.
Coffee orders were also unacceptable, I ordered a capachino and ended up with an americano (no milk) and my colleague ordered a Caffè macchiato and got a weak latte (we were the only patrons at the time and ordered 10min apart so no mix up was possible).
If management were better this place could be so much better.
Overall not recommended.

We spent five wonderful nights in this beautiful resort with my son.
Everything was excellent, especially the Hausboat team who organized the boat trip.
I would like to thank all of them, especially Mr. Sebastian, who was very friendly and kind to us.
However, I noticed a few small details that could be improved.
For example, in the bar area there are some glasses that look like real glass cups used for soft drinks, but they are actually made of plastic.
Although they were clean, they didn’t look very clear and gave the impression of being less clean than they really were.
For this reason, I reduced my rating from 10 to 9.
I suggest replacing these plastic glasses with real glass ones, as it would better match the high standard and quality of this beautiful resort.

Sehr sauberes, großes und schönes Zimmer. Der Blick aufs Meer war toll.
Das Personal war oft etwas arrogant, was ich so selten wo erlebt habe.
Die Dame, die mein Zimmer sauber gemacht hat, war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.
Das Essen war nicht so vielseitig.
Man kann eine Katamaran Tour (nur 40€ pP), Schnorchelausflug und Fahrradtour (kostenlos) über das Hotel buchen. Normalerweise ist die Fahhradtour ab 2 Personen, aber ich war alleine und hab eine tolle private Tour bekommen. Leider war das Personal mit anderen Ausflügen nicht so hilfsbereit und man kann nichts über das Hotel buchen.

J ai eu un massage exceptionnel avec Claide que je recommande à 100% et l’équipe d’activité nautique est top, surtout Esteban.

Passamos algumas horas no hotel pois estava com voo marcado para a parte da noite. Fica a 15min do aeroporto.
Atendentes bem educados e prestativos. A praia do hotel eu não gostei muito da estrutura de cadeiras e barracas. Ficam alguns vendedores tb que não me agradaram
O restaurante eu gostei bastante da comida.

We had a 9-nights stay at the Preskil Island Resort (in a Prestige Room with sea view).
Overall rating: 3.5 out of 5.

We got a great welcome by the concierge and butler - and then the view of the sea. Wauw! Furthermore, we were lucky to get the room earlier than expected (already at 9AM instead of 2PM). Furthermore, we were lucky to get a room “far away” (approx. 300 meters) from the main building, which where it is more quite and less windy - just perfect for us.
A clear recommendation to the Resort is to add parasoles to these rooms with a small private garden area.

However, no information about the facilities (activities like tennis and water sports and how/where to borrow equipment and how/when to book a table in restaurants) was shared upon arrival/check-in.

Included in the price was daily delivery of water bottles (2x 0.5 liters). This was super nice. But the time of delivery varied between 11AM and 4PM. Not super reliable if you are thirsty. One day we reached out to the reception four times about missing water refill, where we got the standard reply “we will send the responsible person immediately” - which took several hours.

We had dinner both at restaurants Rendez-vous (the buffet) and Mosaic. Overall, the food is fine and the variety is great. We can recommend the pizzas in the buffet.
However, we found it a little annoying when we saw a clear “upgrade” on the food (better quality and greater variety) during weekends vs. everyday (Monday-Thursday). Apparen

Les chambres de l’hôtel sont spacieuses et agréables, les plages et le lagon sont magnifiques, le service est correct. Dommage que la restauration ne soit pas à la hauteur : les buffets sont bas de gamme, même pas digne d’une vulgaire cantine. Le dernier jour le tout inclus s’arrête à 15 heures, ce qui est mesquin surtout pour les vols tardifs.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour mais nous sommes un peu déçue car il était indiqué sur le site que nous pouvions réserver un repas romantique sur la jetée alors qu’ils ne le font pas. Alors que nous avions fait toute les démarches pour nous assurer qu’ils le faisaient en appelant. De plus, le personnel (la plupart) sont peu accueillant. Nous avions l’impression de fortement déranger.

War ok für eine Nacht

Unterkunft ganz ok. War nur eine Nacht wegen Flughafennähe. Defekte Fuge unter dem Badaufbau - dort wohnte Ungeziefer. Keine Ahnung ob es ein Käfer oder was anderes war. Verschwand beim Licht einschalten schnell unter dem Badvorbau ;)

El hotel es muy bonito, muy bien decorado, en buena educación con sol de mañana y con bastante oferta de servicios. El recibimiento que te hacen está muy bien, te lo explican todo, son muy educados, te llevan las maletas a la habitación.
No obstante, por el precio que cobran, es un hotel muy caro, solo la comida son 100€ por día, destaca el bajo mantenimiento y la suciedad. Varias sillas están rotas y/o manchadas. Cuando vas al bufet, pocas veces la mesa está completa con cubiertos, vasos, servilletas… Las mesas no suelen estar limpias. La variedad y calidad de la comida también es bastante limitada.
Entro la policía varias veces durante los días que estuvimos, lo que también nos dejaba preocupados si era porque se estaban produciendo robos.

Unser Aufenthalt im Preskil Island war mit einigen Höhen und Tiefen verbunden. Das größte Problem war die Auswahl des Buffets und der Service an den Buffet Tischen. Vegetarier und Veganer werden hier nicht allzu erfreut sein, denn die Auswahl von Obst und Gemüse sowie Salaten ist sehr gering. An vielen Tagen gab es weder Gurken noch Tomaten, sondern lediglich Krautsalat. Insbesondere beim Frühstück war es besonders schwierig, jeden Tag das gleiche und das Rührei schmeckt nach garnichts. Oft wurde beim Abendessen die Reste vom Mittag oder dem Tag zuvor aufgetischt.

Der Service an den Tischen war ebenso eine reine Enttäuschung. Man kann sich am Buffet seine Getränke nicht selbstständig besorgen, sondern muss diese immer an seinem Tisch bestellen. Und hier war es jedes Mal so das unser Wasser sehr spät kam bis man sein Teller schon aufgegessen hat. Manchmal haben wir sogar bestellt, bevor wir am Buffet waren und das Wasser kam trotzdem erst ganz spät. Wenn man dann aufgegessen hat darf man noch nicht aufstehen, bis man die \"Rechnung\" unterschreibt selbst beim All Inclusive. Oft haben wir auch mal bis zu 10 Minuten gewartet bis der Service die Rechnung bringt. Das hat uns alles sehr viel Nerven gekostet.

Nun zum Positiven: Die Anlage sowie der Strand sind sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind relativ sauber und der Fitnessraum bietet viele gute Geräte zum Trainieren. Außerdem ist die Nähe zum Flughafen sehr praktisch.

C’est un hôtel très bien situé avec une plage magnifique. Le SPA est vraiment à la hauteur. Je recommande tout particulièrement cet établissement. Le personnel est très sympathique et le cadre est magique.
