I would rate the hotel a 7 over 10 because the Wifi is pretty poor. The staff were welcoming and very pleasant. The food options was also great, nice atmosphere and wonderful view.

There was repair/construction work being done during core hours while we were there to relax. Stray cats and dogs were wandering around the property. Limited option for typical Mauritian food.

All inclusive option very limited drink and food choices.
Drinks limited to cheap local rum not even Green Island which is made locally.
Very basic food not a lot of choices.
No snacks in between meals.
Afternoon tea is from 4-5 and only have stale cookies, sometimes dry tiny square of cake and crepe.
Bird poop everywhere around the units.
Staff are overworked.

The reception staff are in dreamworld of their own. When you ask or complain. Nothing is done. I think they have to get permission from Manager or owner who is not around. False advertising of hotel, then they say take it with Expedia but its their Hotel they take the money. Food was horrible. Only plus is the housekeeping. Sita was brilliant. She is an asset to the resort. Will not be coming there again . Horrible place Avoid it completely . Many nice Hotels and resorts around

The pool and beach areas are beautiful. Fantastic ocean breeze, you can sit all day. Beds were extremely firm. Would have liked a couple more pillows. Not much to do locally, definitely confined to the hotel area for the most part. Food was actually really good at the buffet, nothing too special but good...maybe some more local options would be great. Activities were ok, no one was really interested in participating. Staff did a good job, i would stay again just for the pool and view

Arrive chilled and you'll have a chilled stay

Hotel was overpriced definitely for off-peak season but we were given renovated rooms which made up for it. Food was very nice. Pool in average condition but the location is beautiful. Beach nowhere like Troix aux biche but this is a lovely location. It's easy to meet the locals and if you're on half board walk to the bridge (can't miss it) between 10.30-11.30am and buy soup and rotie from the lady who cooks for the taxis etc. Lovely and a great deal. Taxi to the airport can be had for RS 1,000 but be my guest and pay Rs 1,500 they ask (or Rs 1,200). The best thing about this hotel however is the staff. The Indian staff are just lovely in nature and the locals are wonderful too. My daughter had a birthday the day after we left and they made a cake at breakfast within 10 minutes. Evening entertainment so, so but fine. This is a place to chill and you can do that easily if you arrive chilled (took me a day!). The non renovated rooms have a \"20 yrs ago\" feel but the view is nice. We enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Staff were very friendly. The swimming pools were wonderful and perfect for our toddler. Nice range of food at the buffet. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We loved our stay.

The man made beach is not as nice as a natural one but gives you the opportunity get in the sea and for water sports.

Very friendly staff

The staff of the hotel is very nice and devoted, they really made the stay enjoyable. The beach is not very good to swim. There's no restaurant in the village (if you go there you depend on the hotel and have to eat dinner in the hotel). The food is fine. Overall the price-quality is good and it's a nice place to be.

Beautiful resort

We had a fantastic honeymoon at Laguna, the room was neat and clean and staff was very hospitable. We even had a complimentary honeymoon candlelit diner and we must say that the chefs are really good! We enjoyed all our meals and especially loved the pool and the beach though the beach is quite small.

The chef made specifically requested breakfast for us and even made special juice for us each morning. We really loved the chicken livers they made just for us!

The hotel had a night where a really good band played and we danced the night away. We also enjoyed games of pool and there is a really good gym too.

Thank you Laguna for our memorable stay.

Comfortable but problem with getting hot showers

Comfortable and clean, buffet meals were delicious. There were problems with getting hot water from the shower - it was inconsistent and one had to let the water run and wait very long before the hot water came. Staff can be friendlier.

Great Hotel if looking to relax, love the pool

I spent three days at the hotel to relax and rejuvenate and it was the perfect place.
The staff were excellent and went out of their way to please me,'The food was to die for the best I have ever had,
I would rate this hotel as 4 star and would definitely come back again.

Excellent beach resort for relaxing stay...

We stayed at Laguna Beach Hotel and Spa on an all inclusive package. It was a good deal considering four meals were provided during the day. Choice of drinks from bar were included and could be availed from 10 am to 10 pm. Excellent sea view, private beach, cabanas and facilities for snorkelling and kayaking. They also provided round trip to Ill aux Cerf and glass bottom boat as a part of our package. However these are only on particular days, so you need to have a bit of luck on your side to have those days fall in your itinerary.

Staff was excellent - very helpful and always available. They even brought a surprise birthday cake during our stay noticing my birthdate on the check-in info.

Some good training for the staff and consistency can really increase the star rating of the hotel.

Highly recommended if you wish a relaxing visit to Mauritius.

Decent hotel. Good room with nice views of the beach. Food was OK.
Hotel staff, however, need to improve their understanding of English.
Exterior of the hotel wasn't very impressive which was a bit disappointing.
Guests aren't given sufficient information about watersports by hotel staff, and this fact is exploited by the people at the Boathouse (who aren't very scrupulous).
However, overall, it was a good value for money.

Lovely hotel. Fabulous views from the room.

Hotel was fab. The service was impeccable from arrival to departure. We chose this hotel to be nearer to the airport as we were staying in the north of the island originally. The hotel arranged a taxi to the airport and told us exactly what it would cost. The icing on the cake was a free trip to Il aux Cerfs island which we had planned to do earlier in the trip but ran out of time. The hotel have a boat that travels to this island once a day. It was amazing!

The Laguna was great value for money, it was quiet and relaxing the staff were all really nice and helpful. We had a great stay here and would recommend it to anyone that wants rest & relaxation. The pool area looks over the sea which is beautiful they had entertainment at night and activities happening all day if you want to join in.

Les chambres sont vraiment moyenne. Les plancher on tellement l’air sale. Vraiment besoin de rafraîchir. Litteries très jaune. La nourriture était très de base et sans goût. Le vin était aussi de très mauvaise qualité. Pour 1 nuit c’est passable! Le personnel est courtois et accueillant.

Très beaux extérieurs: magnifique piscine, très jolie plage. L'intérieur peut parfois être un peu plus vieillot parfois, et notre chambre n'était vraiment pas très grande. Personnel toujours charmant, on s'y sent bien. C'est moins guindé que dans certains hôtels. Par contre, c'est assez isolé. C'est parfait si vous restez à l'hôtel, plus difficile d'accès si vous voulez vadrouiller en voiture. On a apprécié la proximité des locaux, ce qui nous a changé des plages réservées aux touristes de l'hôtel précédent.

Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Le coté salle de bain et toilettes sont a remettre au goût du jour. Beaucoup de bruits le soir zt le matin.Petit dejeuner avec du choix et bon ainsi que le diner du soir. Attention a remettre des plats régulièrement. L'hôtel est éloigné de tout et il n'y a rien a proximité, si vous n'avez pas de voiture a éviter. Il y a une vue très jolie sur la mer. Encore trop de dechets qui traînent notamment du plastique.

Bel Hôtel, bien situé, belle piscine, chambre limite pour 4 personnes (d'autres hôtels dans la même gamme et situation proposent 2 chambres plutôt qu'un canapé lit pour les ados). Personnel à l'écoute.
Restaurant pas à la hauteur malheureusement.
Prestataire de plage (excursion) sympathique mais pas sérieux (45' d'attente pour le départ (alors que programmée la veille) puis 1h05 d'attente supplémentaire pour un retour à l'hôtel. Donc 1h50 de perdue sur la journée, cela fait beaucoup). Et pas d'excuses à l'arrivée.
Dommage pour l'ensemble car le site mériterait bien mieux en restauration et activités...

Bon séjour, bons buffets avec pas mal de choix, belle et agreable piscine. Staff agreable. Belles chambres, Certaines ont des prises continentales... d'autres non... je ne sais pas si j'y retournerai, l'hotel ne se demarque pas vraiment de tous les autres hotels de cette partie de la côte. On ne peut pas se baigner sur sa petite plage car l'eau est sale, mais entre la piscine et les sorties sur l'ile aux cerfs il y a de quoi faire.

Es un mini resort. Es perfecto si lo que quieres es combinar días de hotel con días de descubrir la isla. No resulta tan caro como los grandes resorts de la isla pero esto es porque es muy pequeño. Recomiendo el todo incluido dado que en la isla no hay muchos lugares donde ir a comer. El hotel está reformado, se notan alguna cosas qué son antiguas y no tienen grandes lujos, es sencillo. A nosotros nos resultó cómodo. El único error es que en el bar ( siempre abierto) no tienen snaks para comer o pizza durante las horas que están abiertos. Si no llegas a la hora de comer, debes esperarte a la merienda ( crepes...). Sólo hay un restaurante tipo buffet y cada noche cambian la temática. La comida es un poco justa, pero hambre no pasas...
El hotel tiene un pequeño gimnasio, billar, mesa de pimpón, un trozo de playa privada con pista de voley, dos piscinas, un bar, comedor, tienda, un spa dónde hacen masajes...

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt

Wir haben das Hotel spontan für 2 Nächte gebucht und hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war geräumig mit Blick zum Meer. Wir hatten Frühstück und Abendessen, beides war sehr gut und frisch.
In dem Hotel hat man die Möglichkeit verschiedene Ausflüge (Ils aux Cerf, Lighthouse... oder Landtouren) zu machen, welche ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis haben.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wir haben 19 Tage in diesem Hotel verbracht. 1 Zimmer für 3 erwachsene Personen. Zimmer war genügend gross, Dusche im Badezimmer funktionierte, Zimmerservice gut. Sehr schöne Hotelanlage mit Pool, am Tag mit Animation, am Abend mit Musik und Tanzdarbietungen. Am Meer hat es einige Fischerboote, der Strand ist aber sehr sauber. Das Essen ist sehr gut. Wir hatten Halbpension (würde beim nächsten Mal „all inclusive“ buchen). Tolle Bar. Super Massagen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gerne wieder.

Hôtel très agréable, excellent accueil, très calme et animations le soir jusqu'à 23h, bien conçu et bien entretenu. Repas en buffet peut-être restreint mais toujours varié jour après jour, et aux plats locaux. Piscine très agréable, petite plage privée très calme. Navette bateau pour l'Île aux Cerfs directe depuis la plage. Voiture indispensable car rien aux alentours. Mention spéciale pour le personnel, souriant, chaleureux, attentif et prévenant, grâce à eux l'ambiance est familiale.

Hôtel magnifique, le cadre est juste exceptionnel! Dans un petit village authentique que nous avons pris plaisir à découvrir avec un guide de l’hôtel (gratuit). Le personnel est aux petits soins et très gentil, jeux et activités gratuites... je recommande vraiment et j’y retournerai en all inclusive car noelle s avons extrêmement bien mangé à toute heure.

Schöne Anlage mit schlechtem Service

schon das Einchecken war etwas sonderbar. Man ließ uns eine halbe Stunde warten bis man uns endlich eingecheckt hatte. Wir waren als Familie unterwegs (1 Kind ).und nur für zwei Nächte dort. Das Bett für unser Kind war zwar vorbereitet, aber alles andere war nur für 2 Personen gerichtet. Duschtücher fehlten bis auf eines komplett. Der Service ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht und beim Abendessen wurde uns nach Bestellung des ersten Getränks sofort die Rechnung präsentiert ohne nachzufragen, ob man vielleicht noch was möchte. Insgesamt waren die Bedienung sehr unfreundlich, man hatte fast den Eindruck unwillkommen zu sein. Das Buffet am Abend fanden wir nicht sehr ansprechend, teilweise waren die Speisen schon kalt , obwohl wir zeitig da und es wurde auch nicht alles nachgelegt. Um noch etwas Positives zu sagen: die Lage ist sehr schön, sehr schön eingerahmt von einer Bergkulisse. Leider war Schwimmern im Meer bei Ebbe kaum noch möglich. Wir können das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen und würden es nicht mehr buchen.

Douceur de vivre

Situé au cœur d'un village de pêcheurs pour ne pas oublier qui habitent sur l'île Maurice. Le personnel est vraiment agréable et tout est fait pour satisfaire le client même sur un malentendu...La population est vraiment touchante et no stress, quel bonheur!
