We found the room and view very nice. Food was sadly of very low quality which we wouldnt have minded if the price reflected this however being charged £30 (1,800 rupees) per person for the evening buffet excluding drinks (as we were not on a food package) was not acceptable. Especially as there was no price on the menu and we wernt told the price before seating. This was the most expensive meal during our 2 weeks in mauritus. However staff were friendly and the free island shuttle was a nice perk.

The villa accomodation was spectacular, so peaceful. We were concerned there was no beach but in the end it didn’t matter, the sun hairs in the gardens were good. The only negative was the dinner buffet, a real shame because breakfast was good and lunch ok and the other negative is the wine is undrinkable even with equal parts of ice.

No beach

A week relaxing by the sea so generally good. It is clear that there is no beach but the sea is not accessible. Ten minute walk to nearest beach or twenty minutes to Palmar which has OK snorkelling. Or take the free boat to Isle aux Cerfs and be prepared to stay there for 4+hrs. Food is good for 3*, a mixture of buffet and table service with some local character.

Amazing stay

What an amazing stay me and my wife had. We both enjoyed a couples massage on the day we arrived and Karen made us feel very at home. The food was amazing And the drinks options were endless with lots of homemade rum.

I felt I was allocated the worst accommodation at the hotel. The shower had cracks and was dank and felt mouldy. The bathroom walls looked like it needed a good scrub. The furniture, room, sheets and
towels need serious upgrading.

Other than my room I had a nice stay, although not value for money.

The stay was incredible! Couldn’t recommend more! Lovely place, stunning location and very friendly and helpful staff! Rooms always cleaned immaculately and great selection at bar for all inclusive. Food also great! Only thing I did not like was the lack of activity facilities for guests of the hotel. Would have been nice to have some water sport or paddle boards or something. Also can’t borrow the hotel snorkeling equipment for just in the bay which is frustrating. But overall we loved it so much!

The resort look quite new, facing a beautiful stretch of beach. My room was comfortable with a balcony and a big bed.
I recommend you include food with your booking as I've enjoyed every meal there. The only thing was dinner starts from 7:30pm which was a bit late for me. It would have been better if it was served from 6pm.
The resort also has a free boat service taking you to Ile aux cerfs, which was very enjoyable. They also have a great departure lounge with all the amenities.
All the staff are lovely and helpful. I would stay here again, for the food and the view.

Great hotel with wonderful staff

Our stay in Tropical Attitude was great. We especially enjoyed the free boat to Ile-aux-Cerfs, the food from Kot Nou restaurant by Chef Vikash and the great cocktails at the bar made with homemade flavored rum. The beach is rather rocky, but you can walk 10 minutes on the beach to Friday Attitude and there is nice sandy beach there. However, the sunbeds area is great, with lots of coconut palm trees which provide shadow.

Nice hotel with a few problems.

Been there for 3 nights at June 2018.
Hotel itself is fine and clean. I would be confused with stars on it, seems the manager try to do everything to present hotel as 4-5 star accommodation.
Rooms are clean, but on the ground floor a little mouldy - it might be seasonal.
Restaurant is ok, just quite unusual request to be formal dress code for dinner..
We have problem with reception staff member, at the time of check in we asked how to organize late checkout and been told that needs to be done at the morning of check out day.. strange.. So at the next day we asked manager about late check out, and he organized everything.

Security at the hotel on the top level, you can sleep with non locked door - security guards around hotel.

Overall I would say hotel is quite good, but another reason stop me to say it.

Hotel present itself as half board and all inclusive accommodation. If you offer half board, would you be add another dollar on the price and provide your guests a free water for a dinner ? It does not look serious - dinner included in you payment without water. Ridiculous.
Other facility - money exchange, non serous again. At the to steps from the hotel there is money exchange with average rate, you try to rip off your guests. Sorry - but it's true.
Taxi services - unfortunately the same. At the hotel desk airport transfer 2600, behind hotel doors - 2000 , at the taxi stand (100 meters) - 1500. Do not say it's common. We been at the two other hotels before.

This was one of the best hotels/resorts we have stayed in. Well done to Benedicte & her team for making our stay so wonderful. Chef Vikash was amazing, outstanding food. Served by a couple of the most charming waiters, but would like to point out the excellent service we got from Anil & Karuna. Karuna remembered from the 2nd day of our stay that we do not use sugar, only honey. Absolutely went out of her way and actually remembered that when we ordered coffee at dinner, that we got our honey. Thank you for this small detail that just completed our holiday. Before we went, I read a lot of reviews, particularly regarding the service and the food. And I was a bit reserved. But let me please make a point - there was NOTHING to complain about. Both service and food - I feel if you complained, you are either not used to being treated good or you are just plain spoiled.
The rooms was amazing. The view, outstanding. Well done to the Otentik Group. You have got a winning recipe. Keep up the good work and the great service.

Unforgettable stay, highly recommended

I have never before been to a hotel that impressed me this much. The staff are amazing, welcoming, efficient and very professional. We had a wonderful 7-day stay. We were very happy with our choice to stay there.

Everyone from the staff takes pride in their jobs and genuinely want you to have the best time of your life. They were very accommodating with every request we had and very attentive during breakfast or dinner times (we had a half board so we did not have lunch there).

The hotel grounds and rooms are always kept very clean (special shoutout to Deepa for her amazing towel animals). They have a rain shower in the bathrooms which has a really nice pressure. Feels amazing after a hot day on the beach! Oh, and ALL rooms are ocean view.

They offer free boat trips to Ile Aux Cerfs starting from around 10 am every day. Definitely try it if you are there, as Ile aux Cerfs has a nice sandy beach and a bar where they serve a really nice pizza.

The food...! We thoroughly enjoyed the food selection every day. This hotel's chef can do magic with everything he prepares. The food is anything but repetitive. I was especially a big fan of the fish and the carbonara.

I also would like to mention the amazing interior design work that went into this hotel. We loved the style and colour combinations that they came up with. Very elegant and yet comfortable.

Lovely small hotel in a perfect location.

This hotel is situated next to the beach,most rooms face out to the sea. We had an upstairs room which had a big veranda with a sofa. The view was amazing. The rooms are a good size with a small fridge, kettle, tea and coffee,safe,hairdryer and charging points. We found the air conditioning a bit too noisy at night but very effective. The bathroom is open plan and the shower was superb. There is WiFi is excellent and accessible every where even in garden areas. Food was good,tasty and plentiful but we did find it a bit repetitive after 14 nights. All staff were friendly and efficient.

We loved everything about our stay here for our honeymoon. The ocean views are to die for everywhere on the property, especially from our room balcony. The pool is fantastic, the food was delicious, the rooms were beautiful and clean and the staff was fantastic! We stayed all over the island and in 5 different hotels and this was by far our favorite.

Awkward shower set up

First, let me say that the location, food, and bed were excellent, and the cost is worth the say because dinner and breakfast are included. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The only downside was the shower set up in the rooms. The shower is enclosed with clear glass, and therefore open to the room. I was on a friends trip, so we each had to spend time out of the room in order to shower without anyone watching.

For the price this was a pretty decent hotel close to the beach, the best part about it was the outside poolside area and views which were amazing..
Food was less than exciting and Menues were pretty much unchanging. Sometimes has trouble with service in the restaurant but overall the staff were helpful in organizing activities to do around the hotel and the island.
Overall an ok place to stay but hoping the rumored renovation that are upcoming this year include renovations to that menu.

In a nice and quiet setting a good place to relax

They try to set an authentic atmosphere and care a lot about your well being, but unfortunately the quality of the food, though colourful , is moderate. The allround atmospere around the pool is nice and in a small scale, so you feel welcome, the offer of a SPA should be modernized, the part far off the pool looks kind of neglected.
Green seaweed on the beach should be put away and not be buried in the sand, so the other day after storm you find it again, it smells!
The men at the boat shed and on the boats are very nice to make you familiar with this beautiful place and take you to different places , so one can experience the quiet mangrove islands and be far away from the hazzle of touristic peak time

This resort is in a beautiful location on the beach, any nearer the sea and you'd be sleeping in it. The staff were wonderful and worked hard. It has a small enclosed pool next to the bar and restaurant. There were a few board games, some books and a pool table by the swimming pool. The outdoor table tennis table was looking a bit sorry for itself.

It's not a resort with lots of activities on site. However, it offered us a quiet base, without any children (we'd deliberately left ours at home, so did not want to be tripping over other peoples) from which we could explore the island. The free boat to Ile aux cerfs let us have a trip across the water, with a quick stop at the parascending pontoon 'just in case anyone wants to try it'.

The food varied between set menus or buffet meals for evening meals and a standard multinational breakfast buffet. The quality was good, a credit to Chef and his team. We had half board, which was perfect for us as we were our all day and only wanted soft drinks with our meals. All inclusive guests could order a packed lunch to take with them if they went out.

We enjoyed staying at Tropical. Hotel was surrounded by lots of coconut and other trees. Staff and food was good though food was little spicy. Free boat ride to go to other nearby beaches were available everyday. Taxi service at front of the resort. Night programs were ok. Swimming pool was great. Overall it was great experience.

Hated the room. It didn't feel welcoming and comfortable and the bed was hard. There was an overwhelming sweet smell engulfing the room (I think it was cheap detergents used). The extra blankets in the cupboard smelt terribly musky. The sliding door wouldnt slide i had to exert extreme force to open and close the same.

Welcoming hotel with nice beach

The hotel has a boathouse that organizes free daily trips to gorgeous islands. We enjoyed swimming and eating a barbeque lunch on a trip. There are private patio areas and lounge chairs behind the rooms. The wind never stops blowing here though.
The hotel is welcoming and the poolside restaurant/games area makes it easy to meet other guests and to relax. Nice food too. The room wasn't luxury and we had some ants, but overall this was a very pleasant stay.

A great trip all in all. Its no comparison to the 5 stars on the island, but if your going for a cheaper budget, wanting a smaller place, this beats any standard hotel, hands down. The views from the room make it. Food average. Staff really friendly. A package holiday vibe with a great location.

I found that they are always ready to serve their best hospitality to their customer and give homely enviourment. If we go out they given all necessary food stuff. We all brother and sisters were gethered and everyone had great time without any trouble at hotel. It was our memorable tour due to tropical attitude hotel. Comfort and homely feeling. Just superb.

Wonderful place to stay. The rooms were just fine, with beautiful views and picture-perfect sunsets. The staff are really wonderful. The food is just ok, and here I would recommend that the Attitude group invests a bit more in the menu, and in fresh seafood/fish. The food in the local village, particularly at Tino's, was superb. And the islands are just magical. We even saw dolphins in the bay, close up. This is the place to stay. It's clean, great value, good amenities, excellent staff and it's close to the magical island beaches.

The hotel is well placed near to the beach and the view is simply beautiful. The bungalows are a little basic but were cleaned very well every day. The Hotel Staff were helpful and polite and the all inclusive deal was good value especially as some watersports and a trip to a nearby island was included. We were impressed with the food but the quality of the served meals were arguably better than the evening buffets (they seemed to alternate)

Un peu déçu

Dans l’ensemble nous avons passez un agréable séjour le petit déjeuner était très bon et la chambre était propre et bien entretenue jusqu’à ce qu’une souris entre dans notre chambre nous sommes donc allez à la réception ils sont venus et n’ont pas réussi à la faire sortir ils voulaient donc que nous dormions avec la souris au début ils pensaient que ce n’était pas sérieux donc je suis retourné dans la chambre filmer la souris donc j’ai une photo et une video comme il était déjà 20 heures et qu’il était hors de question que nous dormions avec elle nous avons été surclassé une nuit dans une des villa de l’hôtel en nous précisant bien qu’il fallait que le matin au réveil nous ayons quitté la chambre.
Le matin nous sommes retournés dans la chambre rien avait été fais nous sommes donc sorti au retour toujours pareil personne ne nous tenait au courant de rien il fallait qu’on aille demander à chaque fois !
Le soir je suis reparti demander à un agent qui m’a dit qu’elle avait été sorti je le remercie en rentrant dans la chambre il y avait des pièges à souris dans toute la chambre à peu près 5 ce qui n’est pas du tout rassurant ! Le trou ou la souris est rentré a été bouché avec de la colle et je l’ai entendu faire des petits bruits, bref tout ce passait bien jusqu’à cet événement je suis vraiment déçu par la gestion du personnel ainsi que de la négligence dont ils ont fait preuve à mon égard vu les avis je m’attendais à mieux.

Probably the warmest welcome on the whole island we received from Karen! She explained everything very carefully and showed us around.
Rooms are wonderful, very spacious.
Hotel puts a lot of effort in for the environment which we liked a lot.
There is a free shuttle to the Île aux Cerfs and you can go snorkelling for free.
Staff is super friendly and very helpful.
Buffet for dinner was good, though quite expensive (water is not included and a tip of 10% is charged automatically).

Tout était parfait, la chambre était incroyable (nous avions pris la villa avec la piscine privée), spacieuse et confortable. La vue sur la baie magnifique. Les buffets (petit déjeuner et soir) excellents. Le restaurant Kot Nou un régal. Et surtout la gentillesse du personnel. Grande et belle piscine. Navette gratuite vers l'île aux cerfs. Un petit souci dans la chambre a été réglé avec un beau geste commercial. Vraiment rien a redire.

Toller Strand nicht direkt am hotel aber zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Lage für Ausflüge auf der Insel nicht so gut. Spots die uns interessiert haben sind eher im Süden und Norden.
Für einen all Inc Urlaub dennoch zu empfehlen.
Wichtig noch, hier wird wirklich eher landestypisch gekocht. Curry, Fisch, Huhn usw. Ein internationales Buffet gibt es hier nicht. Wir fanden das aber gut. Scharf sind die Gerichte trotzdem alle nicht, es gibt aber ne super chili paste die man in den Gerichten nach belieben ergänzen kann.

Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, außerordentlich freundliches Personal, geräumige Zimmer. Generell ist es sehr windig an der Ostseite. Und hat das nicht gestört, sollte man aber vorher wissen. Täglicher kostenloser Transfer zu den Ile aux Cerfs. Kein Strand direkt am Hotel vorhanden

Un petit coin de Paradis..
Le personnel est d'une amabilité et d'une gentillesse peu communes.
L'hotel est très beau et les chambres très agréables.
Juste un petit bémol sur le restaurant \"signature\" qui gagnerai à proposer des \"tappas\" avec un peu plus de gout.

Kleines, ruhiges tropisches Paradis

Ruhige Oase (Adults only) und die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Freundlicher, unaufdringlicher Service, Gratis-Transport mit Boot auf die Ile aux Cerfs 2x täglich. Für den Abreisetag steht sogar eine Departure-Lounge mit Dusche, WC etc. zur Verfügung.

Lugnt och behagligt

Bra standard på boendet, gott om solstolar och fint poolområde. Extra plus för gratis båt till Ile Aux Cerfs (fantastiskt fin ö).
Dock lite tråkigt att bada vid hotellet/resorten (knappt någon strand och svårt att gå på botten utan badskor) Men det ligger en annan strand ca 200 m från hotellet.
Och lite smalt utbud på maten.
Men är man ute efter lugn och ro, välj gärna Tropical Attitude

Wunderschöne kleine Hotelanlage mit Aussicht

Der Aufenthalt war wunderschön. Die Anlage hat eine angenehme Größe und unser Deluxezimmer mit der Aussicht war traumhaft. Wir wurden von Benedicte auf deutsch begrüßt - was uns absolut positiv überraschte. Vielen Dank an Benedicte, die eine sehr angnehme freundliche Art an sich hat. Wir wünschen ihr alles Gute für die weitere Schwangerschaft und für die Geburt. Bedanken möchten wir uns auch bei Nazimah, unsere Housekeeping-Dame, die eine wirkliche Künstlerin mit Handtüchern ist. Sie zauberte uns einen Affen, ein Krokodil und verliebte Schwäne. Wir freuten uns immer wieder auf unser Zimmer nach der Reinigung. Das Personal dort war immer zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Der Pool war leider nach ein paar Tagen keine Abkühlung mehr, sondern hatte Badewannentemperatur, was sehr Schade war. Es gibt im Dorf einen kleinen Supermarkt, wenn man nicht Allinclusive gebucht hat, allerdings Halbpension braucht man auf alle Fälle. Das Essen war gut. Das Publikum ist sehr international.

Camera standard piccola rispetto a quelle di hotel similari, inoltre niente bottiglia d’acqua gratuita giornaliera, immancabile ormai in tutti gli hotel anche di categoria inferiore. Fortunatamente ho soggiornato solo un giorno perché in questo periodo, Settembre/Ottobre il clima in questa zona è piuttosto umido e piovoso, l’Hotel dovrebbe dotare le camere di ombrelli per poter almeno recarsi al bar e ristorante senza inzupparsi! Inoltre la mia camera standard, era dotata come tutte di piccolo patio con divanetto e tavolino ma inutilizzabile per via della pioggia che il tetto malandato non riusciva a trattenere.
Unica nota positiva il cibo, sicuramente di buona qualità.

Séjour de 3 jours parfait dans un hôtel avec une déco très soignée. Personnel très souriant et surtout réservez pour aller manger tous les soirs au restaurant mauricien ! On reviendra.

Fräscht hotell med fantastiskt läge vid havet

En lugn och avspänd vistelse på ett mycket fräscht hotell. Personalen var vänlig och serviceminded. Man kände sig genuint välkommen. Rummet var rymligt - rent o fräscht o skön säng. 20 m fr dörren hade jag havet. Jag hade halvpension och var nöjd med maten - möjligtvis kunde frukosten haft lite större utbud. Lunch åt jag i deras streetfood vagn - gott o prisvärt. Ett klart + var gratis båt till en vacker ö i närheten. Annars var man tvungen att ta taxi in till det lilla samhället. Men hotellet bjöd på så fantastiskt vackra vyer så man ville knappt lämna. Supernöjd helt enkelt.

景色无敌的温馨之地！

我们在这住了六天，酒店拥有无敌海景房，美美哒！酒店就在鹿岛对面，每天有小船往返，很是方便！要点赞他们的职员，特别是前台一个爱笑的美女和餐厅经理，我们在这儿过的春节又遇到我先生生日，美女特意提醒餐厅给我们准备了精致的生日蛋糕，年三十晚餐时光，整个餐厅布置得满满的中国风，没想到，异国他乡的中国年过得也很开心！感谢酒店，让我们度过了一个难忘的假期！

Petit hotel en bord de mer . Toutes les chambres beneficient de la vue sur le beau lagon turquoise. Musique en soirée en ambiance un peu lounge. Très calme. Pas de plage a proprement parler mais on peut quand même se baigner avec des chaussures toutefois. Les fonds ne sont pas transparents et ce n'est pas un endroit pour le masque et tuba mais la baignade reste agréable. Navettes bateau gratuites pour l'ile aux cerfs en face. Hotel tres bien pour une semaine.

Generally had a great stay at Tropical Attitude Hotel. Especially happy with the room offered, which was very light, clean and comfy. Also only good words to say about the staff who were very friendly and service minded.
The location was perfect with only few steps to the beach.

However, there are room for improvement, especially when it comes to the food, which - with few exceptions - was a rather disappointing experience. To say the least. The biggest problem being the taste which was very bland. Furthermore some of the dishes seemed confusing/unappetizing (cheap ham in a salad, greek salad with pineapple, pancakes without sugar, etc.). One could wish that the kitchen started focusing on offering fewer and more simple, authentic, tasteful mauritian dishes, in stead of trying to please the taste buds of the common, western tourist.

If they manage that; to put some character in what they serve, we would not hesitate to pay another visit, that's for sure.
