The grounds are beautiful. The staff was excellent. We had a junior suite that had a plunge pool. It was perfect. The breakfast and dinner are buffet style if you have the half-board package. The selections are good. The other restaurants are included in the all inclusive package or you can charge the bill to your room. The pool is gorgeous with ample seating. The beach is very rocky. Not swimmable unless you utilize the motorboat that they will take you out to the swim platform which is about 50 meters offshore. They do have a sister property with a complimentary shuttle that has a beautiful snorkeling beach. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

The first question asked at check “how & who did you book with? I said Expedia & we didn’t get the same service as those booked directly with Radisson! No cold towels, very slow mediocre experience compared to others! We had the only one bedroom private pool villa, it was nice, spacious, the pool was wonderful but a lot of black mold in the shower that they did nothing about after we asked them to remedy it on 2 consecutive days, we had a hornet nest they did remedy. The suite had no ice bucket or umbrella (no big deal) but they treated us as if they didn’t believe us and insisted on checking themselves to see, sheets and towels were old & worn, full of balls, pillows need to be replaced or restuffled, mattress is tired, the value is not there for the price of this suite compared to other smaller private pool rooms! The food was our biggest disappointment, we chose this hotel as they said they could provide dairy free and gluten free diets but it lacked choice, would wait for an hour for GF/DG crepes, no desserts, breakfast buffet was good, dinner buffet was dreadful, repetitive, on weekends when locals stay the food was much better quality & variety! No bananas, no lettuce for salads, many excuses including the cyclone (lol), it had nothing to do with it!!! Half board is a joke! NO drinks included, not even basic water, Nespresso in room is ‘chargeable’ as is everything!!! Would not stay here again! Many other choices for better value on the island!

Everything was perfect except miss sheetal at the reception lacks customer service skills. I was a resident of the hotel for 2 nights and on my last night at the hotel my elderly parents who cannot walk comfortably, i decided to accompany them to their room. She told me not to accompany my parents because its the company policy that strangers do not need to have access to other client’s room. My mom told her both are my daughters are residing in the hotel even that she insisted not to accompany my parents whereas it didnt create any problem when my sister checked in on the same day and i accompanied her. Also, my parents could have been given a ground floor room instead of a first floor room. But overall our stay was a nice experience.

Great overall stay here at the Radisson Blu Azuri. There are restaurants within the hotel grounds and small cafe and shops to buy snacks. Staff are friendly, especially Ramesh and the chefs who were very accommodating with making vegan friendly food for us. There is a good variety of food during the breakfast and dinner buffet, and includes vegetarian and non vegetarian. Each evening is themed with different cuisines so you are not getting the same every time. House keeping was a little slow as had to remind them to take the plates away from the room and provide water bottles. Evening entertainment was also great and varied with live music and dances, although it does get cold at night as the hotel is situated right outside the ocean.

We had a wonderful stay at the Radison. The staff is wonderful, the food was good and the kids really enjoyed the water sports. We travelled around Mauritius before we came and have to say that the beach is not as nice as other places because of the river. The water is not clear light blue, more dark and unclear, which didn’t bother us as we stayed in other places already but if this is your only place make sure you leave the resort and see the magnificent beaches Mauritius has. We had a really relaxing stay and it was a great end to our Mauritius adventure!

Perfect hotel

The hotel has everything on its site.
Full of activities for children that can be babysitted for free. The service is just beyond all expectations. This side of the island is windy so you can kitesurf on the site. Noting around the hotel but we had a car and the hotel itself provides everything the guests might need or want.

The service is terrible. Food is no better than the one in Cuba. If you don’t take the all inclusive be ready to pay around 10$ for a bad beer. They also charge for water at dinner (around 5$ per bottle)
They really want you to pay for the all inclusive.
Get a car so you can move freely the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the water next to the beach won’t be higher than you knee.

Well Done Radisson Blu at Roches Noires

Lovely hotel in pretty setting. Upgraded to a townhouse as we were 4 families which proved perfect for our needs BUT I think this did affect the service we received in terms of cleaning, sheet changing (with accidents from our little ones) provision of bottled water, etc. But Kid’s Club was very good, breakfast and supper buffets superb as in all Radisson Blu hotels, and the staff on reception were amazing - friendly, helpful, patient.

Paradise at the North west end of Mauritius

Location is a bit far off and exclusive with every facility you can ask for.
The Hotel Management ensures to keep you pampered right from the time you check in till departure. Amazing, back to back activities are organised throughout the day to keep you engaged. You can spend 5 days at this property in Mauritius,being entertained without having to leave for excursions.
Glad we had the Radisson at our rescue to make the most of our time, the day cyclone Fakir, hit the island closing down all outdoor excursions. Thoroughly enjoyed the existing theme dinner buffets and the experiences of star gazing and movie on the beach at nights.

Disapointing Experience

The ocean is not clear as in the pictures (they are close to a river delta and then the beach have dark sand (they tried to offer a swimming platform in a clear water overseas,but you need to go by boat and maximum 1 hour per turn). The view of the room was not the same from the site (Oceanview): in my case I was looking to the river and a small jungle (do not recommend - check before booking).

Staff is gentle, but apparently the my don’t have enough people (everybody runs up and down, but service is not 4* level). Long waiting time @ restaurants (maybe due to Easter Holliday), impossible to get a second round of beverages (don’t recommend the meal package).

Cleaness was also a deception, we had to call the reception 3 days to have our room cleaned before 3PM (once our small boy had to sleep).

Another disappointing point for me was the beach cleaness. There were a lot of cigarette buts all over. Okay that they can’t discipline the guests, but if they allow smoking should provide cleaness of at least disposals on the key points.

What was good: room is comfortable and spacious, swimming pool area is nice.

Worse points: disappointing experience in terms of services and ocean not clear as shown in the pictures.

I sincerely don’t recommend the place and if possible would rather to choose another hotel. Would never send my friends there. You probably would get worth value for money somewhere else in Mauritius.

Poorly managed, hotel employee theft / vandalism

I would avoid this hotel and candidly avoid Mauritius given other more stunning islands to chose from. My wife and I stayed here 2 weekends ago and had an incident with vandalism / theft by a hotel employee that went unresolved. We acquired a crystal representing love from a local merchant at 6:30pm on a Saturday evening and placed it in the middle of our bed for good karma. We had taken a photo with the merchant that was time and date stamped. We took another one in my wife's hand just before we left it. We went to dinner on premises and asked that the Nexpresso machine in the room be replaced as it had not been working since arrival and past requests to replace it went undone. We returned to find a new Nexpresso machine, and when we went to our bed, found that the crystal was now broken in half and only one half of it left in the same exact position as the original. The other half was missing and never located. The bed had been made up by housekeeping around 4pm and was not disturbed before we left for dinner and was the same condition upon our return. Per hotel GM after reporting it to both security and Management, only the room service person who replaced the Nexpresso was recorded entering the room. The GM refused to report this crime to the police and seemed to find ways to delay us from doing so until we were so close to departure time to the airport that we couldnt.I would avoid this hotel and candidly avoid Mauritius given other more stunning islands to chose from.

Best service! Great Staff! Pure 5 Star Experience!

Excellent hotel, it has all the class and elegance that you would expect from a Radisson Blu hotel with the added benefit of getting great service from the staff. I have visited numerous hotels around the world as an elite member of various hotel programs and Radisson Blu Azuri tops them all. Staff are friendly and very accommodating (Preethi at the frontdesk was amazing, Diana from activities and kids club was super awesome, Ramesh from the main buffet restaurant would go out of his way to assist). Best service I've ever experienced from a hotel. The hotel has a kids club, boat house, daily activities and wide range of themed dinner buffet. 2 additional restaurants also offer a le carte menu. Beach has amazing views although not very good to swim in, but not a problem since they accommodate by having unique platform out in the ocean whereby they offer free boat trips to/from every hour so you can still enjoy a swim in the middle of the ocean. I'd definitely come back to Radisson Blu Azuri just to enjoy the experience and great service provided by their staff. The kids were sad to leave.

Friendly staff who were always happy to help. Spoke good English so communication was good.
Made us feel at ease.

A special mention to one of the managers at the buffet bar - Ramesh. Always greeted us when we went to eat there and went out of his way to accommodate.

Nice hotel, food just ok, east side very windy

Had a great time, was upgraded to a lovely beach front bungalow type room which was great for the space with two little ones. (although looked a little grubby in places as everything was white so a few scuff marks and it looks less clean/new/fancy)
The food on the buffet was a little disappointing for a 5 star hotel, our expectations and previous experiences of elsewhere was of much better food - this i think let it down
The hotel itself is nice, the staff friendly and the overall part of this trip was great. The only issue is the east side of the island is just so much windier and so we were unable to take advantage and use the beach, the sea or any sports like that as much. Think next time we will just stay on the west

The Radisson Blu hotel is outstanding. There was nothing to complain about what so ever. The room was wonderfully clean with a fantastic shower which never ran out of piping hot water. The internet connection was amazing, not sure how they managed to offer a free service which allowed my three daughters to stream as much high quality video as they liked for our week's stay direct to our room. Being British we always struggle to find quality T.V. at the Radisson no problems. 6 Really good English T.V. channels to keep the kids happy. Loads of inclusive freebies, including paddle boarding, snorkelling, glass bottom boat, kayaking, pedal boating, free gym, wonderfully warm heated swimming pool. When I needed some business printing out, it was done immediately with no charge. You can relax at this hotel, knowing that everything will be taken care of and you don't get the feeling that the Radisson is trying to squeeze out extra money from you when ever they can (something which I found in so many other hotels I haver stayed in). We got a brilliant 20% reduced price through Hotels.com and if such an offer occurs again we'll definitely snap it up. We miss the Radisson Blu already and will definitely stay again.

Fake Beach + Windy

Of all the hotels in Mauritius, there is definitely better places to stay than this. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are wonderful and the staff are incredibly helpful. I was really disappointed because the beach is fake, the sand hurts your feet to walk on, and the hotel is completely isolated - so you cant even walk to a nice beach.

The hotel is at the end of a weird housing estate - so there aren't any shops close by, which means you either have to rent a car or a taxi to get basic things, and to get to the beach. This was quite frustrating.. especially if you are hoping for a relaxing beach holiday.

From what i hear, i would recommend the other side of the island, as the beaches are better and there is a lot less wind.

Quite location a little far from anywhere but that's good for us. Not crowded, quite exclusive. Good bar close by and three good restaurants owned by the hotel.
Excellent staff, really really good.
Great selection of water spots free to use (not motorised) good for sailing enthusiasts.
Had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Disappointing hotel next to swampy beach!

We were housed in the timeshare accommodation (not part of the hotel) which was lovely. Faultless. However, the Radisson Blu Azuri leaves little to be desired, the hotel, restaurants, service were all fairly poor. It is in the middle of no where so you need to either 1) hire a car or 2) spend a lot on taxi's. The beach is swampy, please if you are travelling all the way to Mauritius, go somewhere where the beaches are much better. We moved after 5 days and were lucky to find alternative accommodation over the New Year period.

The Location and the beach was poor. it spoiled our 3 day stay completely because of a dirty and rocky beach and a lot of insensitive staff in house keeping and restaurant.

However i will appreciate a couple of staff at the travel desk.

Enormous rooms, easy \"branded hotel\" experience

The hotel itself is extremely modern, huge rooms, nice gym, incredible service. It's just the \"type\" of hotel isn't what I generally go for...branded, a giant \"complex\" type of property, area felt remote, not like you were in \"true Mauritius\". But the service was exceptional and the quality of the property itself was top notch - just depends on what type of hotel you're looking for. Huge kudos to the fantastic waitstaff & sommelier in the Seafood Restaurant - they were really top notch.

Nice hotel close to beach

I stayed in this hotel for 9 days for my honeymoon , and I really like everything about it ..

The staffs are really friendly and professional, the facilities are clean and organized, and the rooms are stylish.

Also one thing worth note is that if you are planning to do any trip the hotel can easily organize that for you with cheapest price ...

I would recommend this hotel for anyone how is interested in quite place to spend his holiday

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is relatively new (9months) and is clean and in good condition. A large variety of sea sports available and most are free for hotel guests.Beach is not that nice and not really nice for swimming as there are lots of sea grass. Buy the half board package unless you intend to Rent a car.

A little slice of paradise

Stayed at this hotel only for three nights but almost wished we had stayed more. Beautiful location, if a tiny bit windier than the rest of the island with lots of space to relax either by the pools or at the beach. Service in the restaurants (on half board plus which includes alcoholic beverages at meals) was very very good, especially at the fancier restaurant where we ate just one night. We also used the gym, spa services and the steam room and found them just as expected for a 5-star hotel. Also, the rooms were very luxurious, clean and well-appointed, especially the open bath with a tub that looks right out to the sea. Paradise. Just note that the option on hotels.com for 'ocean facing' is actually not a sea-view room. Upon arrival we got into a bit of an issue with the staff on this matter and while we were eventually upgraded, took about 3 hours to resolve and was a bit tense. But overall en exceptional stay.

Amazing, friendly staff... this level of service is unmatched. The sports activities included were so much fun; so many to choose from and included in our halfboard! Halfboard was enough for us, we weren't hungry after a big, late breakfast and had dinner after sunset. Highly recommended!

THE top resort- great beachftont suite

SUPERIOR staff and facilities. We felt like family with the staff, who were helpful and friendly. The activities available: Catamaran, snorkling, paddleboats, canoes, etc... kept us busy when we weren't lounging on the beach or beside the double level infinity pool. We chose a beachfront suite and spent hours on our patio w/splashpool and lounge chairs. (All suites were good, but the higher 805-810 had wider ocean view). Would recommend to any friends visiting Mauritius!

Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner dans une chambre avec piscine privée, très agréable. Le personnel est très gentil et accueillant. Le buffet pas très grand mais toujours plutôt bon . Nous étions en demi-pension et les suppléments boissons à prix correct. Seul bémol , nous avions réservé un dîner pour la saint Valentin, option qui nous était proposé avant notre départ, tout comme l’option départ tardif qu’on avait également réservé au préalable mais une fois sur place ils n’avaient aucune réservation d’enregistré !! Bienvenue à l’île Maurice.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Azuri Resort. Das Zimmer war groß, sauber, mit viel Stauraum und allem was man benötigt. Insgesamt ist es in der gesamten Anlage sehr ruhig und entspannt. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Essen (wir hatten Halppension) war lecker und frisch. Es gibt im Hotel verschiedene kostenlose Aktivitäten, z.B. Schnorcheln, Yoga,… das fanden wir klasse. Vor allem das Schnorcheln ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Strand ist recht flach und das Wasser schnell aufgewühlt. Zum Baden ist das ok, aber durch den sehr weit vorgelagerten Korallengürtel gibt es nicht allzu viel zu entdecken Unterwasser.
Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen auf Mauritius und werden bestimmt einmal wiederkommen.

Amazing Place to Explore Northern Mauritius!

If you’re looking to explore the northern part of Mauritius, this is the perfect place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome, thanks to the attentive and service-minded staff who went above and beyond to ensure a great experience.

The hotel offers excellent facilities, including access to water sports, which added so much fun to our stay. A wonderful bonus was the ability to use their sister hotel, where we went on several snorkeling trips and even spotted turtles—truly unforgettable moments!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the warm, inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home from the start. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Toppbetyg för allt, egentligen. Rummen, maten, utbudet på aktiviteter, servicen över lag är fantastisk. Det finns ingen anledning att hyra bil utan det fungerar perfekt med taxi vart man än vill åka. Som bonus får man en kunnig och sympatisk guidning av Zaheed. Ett hotell som tillfredsställer alla behov för både gamla och unga i en mycket vänlig atmosfär.

Super Hotel für entspannte Tage.

Das Radisson Blu Azuri ist eine wunderschöne Hotelanlage in einem gesicherten Apartmentbereich. Toller Check-in mit Park- und Gepäckservice und Begrüßungsgetränk. Große, noch sehr neu wirkende Zimmer. Bequemes Bett, großer Bad- und Duschbereich. Schöner Balkon mit Chill-out Sofa. Wir hatten Halbpension und waren mit dem Essen extrem zufrieden. Jeden Abend ein anderes Themenbüffet und auch beim Frühstück bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Das Personal ist wirklich ausnahmslos freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Wenn man nicht beim Essen oder am Pool ist, merkt man oft gar nicht, wie viele Gäste in der Anlage wohnen. Gutes WLAN. Schönes Fitness-Studio. Gratis-Parkplätze wenn man einen Mietwagen hat. Einzigen kleinen Nachteile: Etwas kleinlich fanden wir, dass man bei HP beim Abendessen selbst für Wasser bezahlen muss. Der Strand ist schön, aber das Wasser ist für Mauritius-Verhältnisse etwas trübe und zum Schwimmen weniger geeignet. Stündlich geht ein Bootsshuttle zu einer Plattform zum Schwimmen. Die Wassersportangebote (Kajak etc.) sind durch den flachen und felsigen Untergrund im ufernahen Gewässer schwierig zu nutzen. Und je nach Jahreszeit kann schon einmal ein ordentlicher Wind vom Meer kommen. Ansonsten ist es sicher eines der schönsten Hotels, in denen wir bisher waren. Wenn man nicht ständig schwimmen oder schnorcheln möchte, das ideale Hotel für entspannte Tage.

Nice new year's eve party, room for improvement...

Not the best location to visit the island and the sea side is not great due to a river close by. Staff is not much prepared and many things seem difficult to organize (i.e. snorkeling, excursions,...)

Es war ein super resort!! Für en Honeymoon war es die perfekte Location. Super zum entspannen und alles Revue passieren zu lassen. Es war wunderschön dort und die Hotelmitarbeiter waren auch super!! Die kostenlosen Hotel Aktivitäten waren super!! Man könnte jede freie minute nutzen mit relaxen oder super Wassersport angeboten. Das Schnellboot was einen jede Stunde zur schwimmplattform bringt ist auch außergewöhnlich es sieht dort aus wie im Film, Türkis blaues undenklich klares Wasser 😍😍😍

Hôtel très décevant compte tenu du prix de la nuit. À ce prix on peut s'attendre à beaucoup mieux et pourtant nous avons été surclassés. Chambre prestige mais pas de vue sur mer ! Piscine privative.....il faudrait plutôt dire baignoire extérieure avec vue directe sur toutes les baignoires extérieures des autres chambres....aucune intimité. Par contre la chambre était très bien.
SI vous voulez faire du snorkeling et vous baigner dans la mer, il ne faut pas choisir cet hôtel : la mer est trouble car prés des mangroves. La restauration est bonne surtout le soir, par contre les viennoiseries du petit déjeuner sont dignes d'un Super U. L'ambiance générale de l'hôtel est plutôt Bidochonne. Tout le monde est agglutiné au bord de la piscine et visiblement l'alcool est très présent. L'accueil quant vous arrivez en voiture est déplorable, à peine si on vous laisse déposer vos valises et ensuite il faut se débrouiller par ses propres moyens pour trouver une place de parking ! Au départ de l'hôtel, le bon accueil de l'arrivée à complètement disparu, visiblement ils sont très contents de vous voir partir ! C'est le pire des Radisons que nous ayons fait. Nous vous déconseillons d'y rester plus de 2 nuits, voir nous deconseillons d'y aller tout court. La seule note positive est le Spa et son personnel. Il y a beaucoup beaucoup mieux dans les environs......
