All areas were exemplary. Staff all so friendly and helpful and facilities perfect. Attentive service both pool side and in restaurants, and top quality food with a great variety. Staff always welcoming with a 'bonzour' and smile. Great choice of pools for swimming, relaxing and sunbaking, including lovely secluded cabanas by her water. Highly recommended.

We an amazing two weeks at Paradise Cove. From the attentive staff to the amazing food and service. Specially call out to Tulisi for the rum tasting session...15 different flavoured rums..Deepak and Neetish who were in every restaurant we ate in from breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Very relaxing time, but made use of the on site gym - not big but well equipped and had the most amazing hot stones massage in the Spa.

Beautiful property, well maintained and immaculate. Stayed in a Junior Suite with amazing view from the balcony. Service exceptional from the bar, dining, reception and even to your sunbed. Very well looked after by the team. Luxurious and glamorous. Sun loungers had lovely foam cushioning and no putting towels down policy before 10 otherwise they are off - fantastic! Love to come back if we visit Mauritius.

Truly Paradise

Adults only so no children under 18. There were families with older children. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly and went out of their way to assist. Any small problems we had were dealt with quickly and effectively. The glass bottom boat and snorkelling well worth going on. The sun loungers had a button to press for service which was really helpful. We enjoyed the cultural night and the free rum tasting.

The service was poor and staff all seemed unhappy. The attentiveness of the staff was poor, probably due to bad management or lack of training.
The food was very bland and limited. You couldn’t have a snack at your sun lounger which is ridiculous given where you are and how close the kitchen is.
We checked out a day early even though we had paid £400 a night, no staff on in the morning to collect luggage.
A beautiful setting, could have been exceptional but food and service extremely poor for the price paid.

Small of the radar hotel. The hotel has no own beach but makes up for it with a beautiful setting, lots of hidden areas, beautiful swimming pools and ocean access. Definitely a great place to recommend for folks looking something smaller and very good!

What an amazing hotel! The staff were fantastic, so helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome and special! The food was incredible and the options fantastic. The gournds are beautifully kept with fresh flower arrangements everyday. So peaceful and lots of different places to sit/lie and relax. Three amazing pools and a beautiful sheltered cove as well as a sea water plunge pool. Just wonderful!

We spent a short honeymoon at Paradise Cove and we think it was a wonderful experience. We may have been the only Americans there which was pretty refreshing.
To start things off, our airline lost our luggage so we were pretty stressed when we arrived. Luckily, the staff and management here is nothing short of incredible. They did a fantastic job making us feel welcome and were especially attentive to us and our situation, going as far as frequent calls to the airport baggage service to ask for updates on our behalf.
The overall vibe was perfect for us. It's quiet around the resort, no disturbances to our relaxation or intimate conversations. There is music every night at dinner and most nights it is a live performance, but never too loud or obnoxious.
The room was great. The property has some small wear and tear, but the upkeep is very well done. If there is ever a problem, reception will dispatch the right person very quickly to take a look and fix any issues.
The spa is charming and at an excellent value. The staff is so kind and adept at what they do.
The cocktails needed some work, but we were happy ordering sparkling-wine/wine for our stay. The Indian food offered was absolutely delectable.
The private lagoon and pools are beautiful/relaxing. We had a premier suite with a bathtub and a better view of the lagoon. It's awesome waking up to the sunrise, having some coffee or tea on the porch to start your day.

Romantic Boutique Hotel

I absolutely loved this hotel. It is my favorite place I have ever stayed. It was beautiful, romantic, and the service was impeccable. I would highly recommend staying here over some of the larger hotels on the island like Shangri-La or Four Seasons.

It is a little further away from town and other food options so while we didn't do full board, I would next time. You could tell the staff was prepared for mostly full board guests as well. Everyone was so kind and really made it feel like paradise!

What a wonderful stay at the property. From the moment we arrived it was pure paradise. The staff were friendly and courteous and would go out of their way to make sure the stay was perfect. The food was sublime - the quality and freshness. Our favourite restaurant was The Peninsula, but all were equally as good. This resort is the perfect size where it doesn’t feel too crowded. The rooms are beautifully decorated with plenty of space. We loved it.

Paradise times 10…..no, times INFINITY

This place was amazing. It was my third time to Mauritius but my first time to Paradise Cove. It was fabulous and I cannot wait to go back. Eight days left me wanting for more. From the moment I stepped out of the taxi, I felt special. The rooms, the property, and the food were fantastic. More importantly, the people who work here were outstanding. Everyone was so pleasant and willing to do anything necessary to make my stay memorable.
I have some medical and mobility issues but it all worked out and even if I was walking around the resort and needed to stop, someone always approached me to see if I was okay.
During the day, it was always fun to find a different spot to spend the day reading, swimming, napping, or just looking out over the ocean. Each of the three pools had their own special personality.
The spots up at the Peninsula were all unique. Lunch at the Peninsula restaurant was great, especially the surf and turf pizza. Lobster dinner at the Cove was top of the line. The dinner buffets were always mind blowing. You could always find something new to try. It’s a long way from the United States but worth every hour on the plane. Kudos to Christian, Nicolas, Indira, John, Dev, Amedee, and everyone else who helped to make my vacation the best ever.

Fantastic!

Myself and my partner checked out of the Paradise Cove earlier this week after the most incredible stay. I actually feel incredibly emotional to be leaving as we have just had the best time at this beautiful hotel.

The grounds are tucked away in a cove making it feel very exclusive. There has clearly been a lot of thought go into the interior design of the hotel. It has a very chic/ boutique feel with so many spots to chill out. There are 4 pools in total as well as a private beach, so never felt crowded. There was light, relaxing music playing in the day, and live jazz music being played over dinner, which we absolutely loved.

The food was simply divine. The best food we have had on the island. We were half board and we enjoyed a beautiful 4 course dinner every evening. It really was excellent value for money considering the quality and presentation of the food. It really was outstanding.

We would particularly recommend the ‘BBQ Buffet Night’. We are not usually a lover of buffets as we find they can often be quite bland and boring. This however was SENSATIONAL. We would both even go as far to say it was the best meal we have ever had. We enjoyed unlimited tomahawk steak, lamb, chicken skewers with a beautiful range of rice, potatoes and pasta with vegetables. Dessert was delicious also.

It is such a lovely touch that all of the water activities are free of charge, such as water skiing, glass bottom boat etc.

The staff couldn’t do enough for us!

Great adult only hotel, small and friendly

The hotel is a 75-room hotel, you can book HB or All-Inclusive. If you are planning a long stay I would recommned the All-in, the lunch and drinks can really add up. The XO restaurant (sushi) was really poor quality of fish and the portions in the All-in menu were not enough (for the men at least). Lunch at the Peninsula was amazing, but didn't like they offer water for 150 Rs - so anyone who's not All-in is really paying a crazy price - and for what?
I went to get a massage, the hotel gave me 25% discount which was really nice. the place was really calm and relaxing and off course beutiful, there was a whole relaxation area that seemed hidden from the guests - not sure why.
The beach - small beach mostly for sun-bathing not bathing-bathing but it's gorgeous and the beds are really comfy. There are 2 other infinity pools, one with a great view but there was a constant shortage of beds next to it - 8am and all the beds are already taken for the day as people just place a towel and claim them - they are nowhere to be seen.
Breakfast is ok but the selection of warm dishes could be better - there's an English breakfast offered - why English?! they have the worst europian kitchen. At least they served crepes :)

wonderful honeymoon

amazing stay at Paradise Cove for our honeymoon.
Highly recommend. Service was fantastic, the staff all so friendly and helpful and enthusiastic to help.

The Cove is stunning - the beach is small but nice and you can jump straight into the ocean. “Love nests” are a perfect base for your day, but despite the hotels best efforts, they do get reserved in the morning.

Food was of excellent quality. Lunch at the Peninsula in particular was amazing, and XO was of the most amazing standard.

Drinks very much all inclusive, good wine choices etc. Ludovic at the bar was amazing!

Points for improvement:
- the Indian buffet was hilarious and not Indian in the slightest.
- absolutely no special effort was made given it’s our honeymoon. Vs other hotels do upgrade, gave us discount, gave us a special boat trip etc etc. A small touch would have been appreciated given once in a lifetime holiday.
- the hotel’s airport transfer quote is appalling. €135! When on average it’s between €32-45 we were quoted otherwise. Awful that they try and rip you off, before even arriving and left a very bad first impression.

Absolutely beautiful place, almost surreal beauty. Lots of activities at the hotel and an ideal honeymoon destination. They gave us a whole bunch of special honeymoon gifts which were incredible, including romantic candlelit dinners and surprise drawn bubble baths with champagne. Only criticism is that drinking water is not amply supplied and is very expensive to buy at the hotel. The food was also not exceptional - often quite flavorless but then sometimes amazing. My wife and I are foodies so at times it was frustration because of inconsistency. Everything else is practically flawless.

Wow what a find!! I was in Mauritius coming back from Réunion and looking around for a high end place to stay on the east side of the Island. All the hotels has plus and negative reviews so I took a chance and booked this place. I booked half board. On arrival welcomed with drink and shown to our room and had a very nice dinner with the wine not unreasonable price for a hotel of this quality. Good mix of local and international food. Wonderful evening and a great room. The breakfast buffet was as good quality as you expect. We were hiking in Reunion and looked a \" bit rough\" We had no posh clothing with us but were made to feel welcome. The rules said trousers for dinner but jeans were acceptable...preferable as it is a tropical island and you can expect to be bitten. We had a flight the nest day at 10pm but were welcome to spend the day at the hotel which we did by the infinity pool. Wonderful service all day at no extra charge except for the drinks which were reasonably priced and food we had from the restaurant. The staff obviously care and were kept the place immaculate. They were not intrusive at all and very friendly. The hotel is well designed and the cove came right to the rear of the hotel with a well manicured beach. Wonderful time. I had no time to avail myself of the facilities such as sports etc but others did. I do not think that the hotel allows children which is what we wanted as we needed a quiet time before the 12 hour plus flight to England. Well done!

Was fully booked, but never seemed crowded or rushed. No problem finding good seats around the pools, along the coastline, in the bar, or in the restaurants. Beautiful gardens and shore. Took a day tour around the island, but was a little hard leave the resort since it was so nice. Staff could not have been nicer. Extremely clean. Quiet.

The add on’s for drinks, etc. were a bit pricy, but half board with water suited us fine.

3 star hotel in 4.5 star setting

This is not the usual upmarket hotel you expect to find in Mauritius. The prices are lower than the usual 5 star hotels, but we decided to give it a try. There is lack of management skills and basic training of the staff is required. The food is very average and the waiters needs training, they do try their best, but the lack of training is visible. One night after dinner we decided to have a drink in the bar area. After 10 minutes without getting attended we left, some of other guests had a good laugh. The internet does not work properly to which the response was \"A lot of guests complain about the poor internet\".

Upon checking out we did not even get asked if we enjoyed the stay or whether anything could be improved.

This is a beautiful place, with great food and excellent service. We were upgraded to a suit which was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough for you and treated you oh so well throughout. There is a dress code for dinner - long pants are required, luckily I had a pair of jeans, because otherwise it would have been dinner in our rooms. The crowd is older - mostly 50 to 60+. The location was fantastic and I'd recommend it highly.

We were a party of six friends, not all couples and booked because we could see it looked beautiful. My view is that it's definitely a heterosexual couples hotel. We didn't have board, only bed. The room was beautiful and they catered for our requested single beds. Sun beds are \"booked\" by people going out about 7am and putting their blue hotel towels on them !!!! This needs to be stopped as beds lie unused for hours. Room staff are wonderful ... Very caring and helpful.

Very Impressive

We stayed for 4 nights and were very impressed. Rooms were large, clean, well equipped with a huge comfy bed, large nice shower and all expected amenities. The layout of the hotel is superb and it has the luxury of a nice beach in a cove as well as a nice lagoon which is nice for a dip. They also have a separate are where the lunch restaurant and watersports are located where there are lots of nice private sunbathing spots and this is a real advantage of this hotel.

There are many watersports on offer, snorkeling which was really good. We also went on the catamaran which was a good fun day out including superb snorkeling, good food and free drinks all day.

The food at the hotel was very impressive. The breakfast was excellent. We were half board so only ate lunch once which was very good for a lunch! Other times we cycled to grand baie (recommend it - bikes are free from the hotel). The dining room was quite good. The Cove is the best restaurant by a mile due to the setting but i also liked the menu. You need to book for the Cove and XO so i'd advise booking in advance as they are both very small but the staff will do what they can to fit in everyone who wants to eat there. You can go as many times as you want and unlike other hotels there aren't any supplements (unless you want things like lobster).

Good location and nice layout with rooms around a horseshoe bay. However the rooms are a bit tired and need a revamp to compete with more luxurious competitors. Very ordinary food which was a real shame as it meant travelling out each time to find a restaurant. Buffet breakfast offers reasonable choice but very repetitive and didn't change once in the two weeks we were there. Half the wine list is from South Africa and if you come from there you will be shocked by the mark up. Entry level stuff that costs the equivalent of 90 rupees a bottle in SA is 2100 rupees in the hotel. A local beer that costs 30 rupees in a supermarket there is 150 rupees in the hotel. You expect a mark up but that seems excessive. Female staff are mostly smiley and friendly but the males are almost all rather surly and seem to be just going through the motions but to be fair this does appear to be the case all over the island.

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Paradise Cove and it was fantastic. If you're looking for laid back, unpretentious chic then it's the spot for you. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the food was very good, and nicely varied with balanced, not huge portions. We normally steer clear of organised trips, but the day on the catamaran was well worth it (although watch out as the rum punches get more potent as the day wears on!). The spa was also very good (although not as cheap as other places we've stayed in that part of the world - c £55 for a 50 min massage).

Everything the hotel offers is ridiculously overpriced, the food is not good and the dishes offered are hardly sufficient. The hotel is about 10 mins drive from any Beach or city which kinda makes you their \"prisoner\" while you're there. If you order a taxi from the hotel it could cost you even twice and more than taking one outside.

A lovely hideaway on the island of Mauritius, that is both peaceful and relaxing.There is plenty to do if you wish by way of inclusive water activities,or if you wish to kick back and relax in the sun, read a book, etc, this is also the ideal place, as there are plenty of secluded spots.
We had a lovely welcome on our late arrival complete with a drink, fruit, refresher towels.The staff are were very very friendly, and helpful throughout our stay without being over the top.They were always happy and smiling and always made us feel welcome during our 10 day holiday.
The self drive from the airport was definately worth it.

The hotel was absolutely fabulous, highly attentive staff that were only too happy to see to our every wish.

We stayed in a Junior Suit, which was fabulous. It was the closet room to the bar & restaurant but still perfectly quiet and private. The access to the Club Lounge as part of the suit package was great on the first day whilst waiting for the room to be ready after our early arrival, however the all inclusive bars and restaurants more than surpassed once available.

The activities provided from the boat house were great and suitable for all capabilities and very well organised.

If there was one area possibly better than the service it may be the food, which was exemplary. I would recommend that you book for the XO and Cove restaurants on arrival as it booked up very quickly.

Excellent resort, really felt like we were in a fantastic place, very friendly staff, immaculate hotel rooms, perfectly kept amenities and relaxation areas, watersports located on a good area of coast. For swimming beach, Troi Aux Biches and Mont Choissy are very close, so easily accessible by bus. We were on a breakfast-only package, I would recommend going for the breakfast and dinner, as you do pay dearly if you dine on an ad hoc basis.. Amazing food, great tastes and really posh gourmet stuff, so at least you get great quality for your money, you really do feel like you are treating yourself. Room was large and comfy, great set-up with lots of shelves and cupboard space. I actually cannot complain about anything, and I am normally skeptical, having been an auditor. I can't even single out a staff member for praise, as they were all delightfully friendly.

The place is overall very nice, but unfortunately the food is really awful and priced extremely high. Cocktails are also quite poor. The hotel is mostly occupied with Brits and South Africans; those polite enough to tolerate it. Despite the hotel's advantages (great layout, lots of privacy, quiet atmosphere, superb maids), unless i heard that the chef had been fired, then next time i would be staying elsewhere.

Nice Hotel but not a 5-stars

nice Hotel for couples but not a 5-stars. rooms are small but confortable, furniture and accessories are a bit old. The cove beach is not great and the sea access is limited.
Boat house services are apparently good but everything needs to be organised well in advance. No good connections with activities outside the hotel.
Food is good, mainly the one of the sea-food restaurant and the SPA is great. Extras are a bit too expensive for the quality.

Fantastic getaway

Excellent 3 day stay. We went there, my wife and myself for a short break . It was perfect: the beauty of the site, the service, the food. The distance from the airport (90 minutes driving!) is the only weak point especially when you onlyhad a 80 minutes flight from Madagascar...

go somewhere else...

firstly this is not a luxury hotel.. it is overly expensive and under delivers... there is no real beach, very dangerous to swim in the ocean and the facilities are subpar at best..

food was just ok and the staff are eager to assist and please but they constantly forget to get you a straw for your cold drink. too many ants in my room, the bathroom was poorly designed as the toilet was in a tiny room of its own.. very wacky!

the gym and the overall facilities need a major overhaul.. if you spend this much $$ go to the eastern side of the island where the scenery is much more beautiful and you get to stay at the better/newer hotels!!!
the best i would give it is 3 stars -- if that... expedia --update your rating on them~

Paradise at Paradise Cove

My husband and i spent 7 glorious days basking in the sun, taking in breathtakingly beautiful views from the different love nests on the resort. Long lazy days were spent feasting on the fresh seafood and delicious wines available, only rising from our sea-induced slumber to snorkel on the island's amazing reefs and swim with dolphins out at sea. The location, beauty and decor, facilities, food and hospitality at Paradise Cove were outstanding. Very highly recommended.

Fantastiskt ställe och hotell. Personalen var väldigt serviceinriktades och trevliga. Maten fantastisk och rummen var rena o fräscha. Jag varmt rekommendera detta hotell och vi kommer gärna tillbaka.

Ännu en cyklon

Ett fint hotell men med känslan att det sett sina bästa dagar. Saknas bra möjligheter att bada i havet och den lagun som ligger inom hotellet känns smutsig.

Vi hade dock en cyklon under 2 dagar och där skötte sig hotellet väldigt bra med både service och information.

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war von Anfang bis Ende eine wahre Wohltat. Der Service verdient besondere Anerkennung – aufmerksam, unaufdringlich und stets mit einem Lächeln. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast wirklich willkommen.

Die Küche ist auf höchstem Niveau. Jedes Gericht, das serviert wurde, war nicht nur geschmacklich hervorragend, sondern auch liebevoll angerichtet – ein Fest für alle Sinne.
