We used the best western for a our journey to Spain twice, this year forward journey and return, nice clean hotel, comfortable beds, this is our 3rd stay in the hotel, staff very friendly, clean rooms, was a good half way stop, nice Chinese place around 2 miles away, would recommend anyone to stay

Just a one nighter, but perfectly positioned for our drive to Spain. 6 hours from Brittany and easy roads. Hotel is just 2 minutes off the Motorway and yet no road noise at all. Have stayed here before and will do again.

Good budget hotel. It does not have a kettle in the room, no tea or coffee bag, the bathroom doesn’t have a curtain to prevent the water from spread out of the bathtube. However those things might be the acceptable level in France. The location is not bad: it is next door to 2 shopping marts. Nearby there is a bus stop to go the Bordeux city center. The staff are nice.

Breakfast was good and staff were all very nice and even filled our water bottles before we left.
Word of advice: its in the middle of an indiustrial business park so nothing within walking distance other than the supermarket across the road which closes at 7.30pm

Welcoming receptionist on arrival, lovely clean comfortable rooms, nice bed, powerful shower, we will definitely stay again in this hotel if we travel to Spain, be aware restaurant is only open Monday - Thursday, we found a lovely Chinese buffet you can eat at that is close by, overall 5 stars for this hotel

The hotel is easily found and not far from the main route down to northern Spain. Lots of parking.
Good service at reception and a nice room, very clean and comfortable.

A perfect stopover for us on our drive to Spain. Hotel is conveniently located clise to the Motorway to Biarritz. Area is safe, and Hotel is all in perfect order and scrupulously clean. Unfortunately the restaurant is not open for dinner over the weekend, but I know that this is true of many others too.

We had the best stay at this hotel and it will definitely be our go-to when we need to stay in the Bordeaux area. We stayed two different times and both times were great!
Location: it is close to the airport (about 12 minutes), in a quiet part of town surrounded by stores (there’s an Intermarché supermarket right across the street)
There is a gated parking lot on site, completely free.
Service: every single person on staff was the kindest I’ve met! Super nice and friendly and doing anything they can to help.
Rooms: clean, comfortable, the beds were great, the comforters thick, everything was in working order. Coffee, tea, water.. Even had Lindt chocolates waiting for us :)
Breakfast: it was very good, lots of options, clean, and again the staff was awesome!
We did not try the restaurant.
Noise: extremely quiet! We were on the first floor close to the lobby and yet we did not hear anything at all.
The lobby is also great and welcoming. It was Christmas time so they had a box of chocolates for guests, cute decor etc.

Ideal location for stop-off stay.
Driving through France to Spain so this was a great location to stay enroute. Reception was very warm and friendly, and very helpful with everything. As it was New Year’s Eve, the restaurant wasn’t open but reception was extremely helpful with ideas for other places to eat. Great nights’ sleep before another warm reception for breakfast. Much better than anticipated and very tasty. Even though the location was just off the motorway, it was very quiet and yet very quick to get back on our way. Will definitely stay here again on our way back.

We received a phone call a day before our arrival from the manager letting us know there would be no restaurant service that night so we could make other arrangements.
She also made a taxi reservation for 3:20 in the morning so we could catch an early airline departure. She was very nice, professional and extremely helpful.

The toilet is barely usable in room 214 because of its location we couldn’t check out properly at 6.00am because everything was closed and couldn’t find where to leave card. Other than that hotel was clean, comfortable and all staff friendly & helpful. I will use this hotel again & would recommend

Very comfortable and near the motorway when traveling to/from Spain. Plenty facilities nearby for eating cheaper than the hotel which, though good, can be a bit pricey. Nearby petrol station cheaper than motorway prices. This is our preferred stopover on twice yearly journey

We usually stay in B&b hotel when on a road trip to France. Thus is very similar but a little nicer with a kettle and soaps in the room and a swimming pool. Not many places nearby to eat at but otherwise a comfy bed and good shower.

Great stay, very convenient stop on journey to Spain, very dog friendly as allowed into restaurant for breakfast, lovely rooms & bathroom, great shower, water lovely & hot with good pressure. Lovely staff with excellent English, secure parking, large grassed area next to hotel to walk dogs. Large supermarket opposite for any essentials. Only downside was the restaurant was closed on the evening we were there. This will be our future hotel of choice in this area.

Overnight stopover Costa Blanca to Caen/Portsmouth Ferry. Possibly a 'little' more expensive than other hotels in the area, but having tried others an extra tenner is worth it for the comfort. As frequent travelers this is our preferred hotel

Excellent hotel to break our journey north across France. Quiet location but only just off the motorway. Convenient supermarket across the road. Very helpful reception staff who advised us of local walking spot for dogs at the Parc du Lac Bleu. Shame the restaurant was closed ( as weekend) but others within walking distance. We would definitely stay again. Dog friendly.

Stayed here one night on the way to Rosscof, easy to find, hotel receptionist Virginia (i think) was very friendly, we had our two dogs with us and had no issues with this.

We stayed here as part of the Euro 2016 Wales game in the city.
The staff were unbelievably welcoming and accommodating to us all in the hotel, happy to help and even watching some of the other games with us. They helped us out massively too with the task of getting to the city centre (which was made difficult because of the strikes on at the time).

Very good stay, staff were superb. I was allowed to check in early and check out a little late with no fuss. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower was excellent. The only downside was the mattress was so incredibly hard. First night I actually took the sheet off to check of there was even a mattress there. I do 50 hotel nights a year and it was the hardest bed I have ever slept on.

Easy to find, great safe, lovely facilities. Highly recommend. It is out of town a bit but we had a car so not a big issue. On site parking was very useful. There was also a tram line near by that takes you downtown apparently.

A well earned rest
only a one night stop over travelling from Benidorm to Caen with our dog. Second time we have used this hotel and would use it again. Good menu in the restaurant but also fast food outlets nearby. No time to use the pool as we arrived about 1900, and the pool closes at 2000.

The hotel does the job. The restaurant is acceptable. The room is clean and functional. Everything was fine apart from the pillows which were like concrete.

Quaint and Delightful
We were met by the delightful Benoit, who assisted us with carrying our luggage up the stairs. This is a quaint hotel with wall paper and creaking wooden stairs. It is in an excellent position very close to the Calais Ville station, and easy walking distance to the beach and town. Breakfast was delightful with fresh fruit, croissants and baguettes, along with a choice of cereals, condiments, and drinks - hot and cold. This is an old-style building and renovations are being done at a leisurely rate, but that only added to the charm for us. We would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a good overnight stop, Comfort Hotel Bordeaux Pessac does the job well. It's easy to find, the room was clean and well appointed, and although the immediate situation is uninspiring, the location is quiet, not far from the centre of Bordeaux and close to the pleasant suburb of Gradignan.
I arrived on a Friday and was slightly surprised to find the restaurant and even the bar (this is Bordeaux, for heaven's sake!) would not be open. Not a big problem as Gradignan is well blessed with bars and pizza parlours.
If you need a vet to do the Pet Passport thing, there is an excellent practice just five minutes away: Corinne Bisbarre & Marie Canihac of 14 Route de Pessac. Pages Jaunes and Google maps will give you the details.
Finally, the breakfast is 9 euros but well worth it if you can eat a lot in the morning!

This hotel is alright for an overnight stop. However, the restaurant is closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and after a long drive the last thing you want to do is go hunting for a restaurant.
We also wanted an early start the next morning and the restaurant was supposed to open at 06:30, but it was closer to 07:00. At 9 euros per person for a croissant and coffee we thought this expensive. There were also cereals, cold ham and cheese.
From a location point of view it is easily accessible from the motorway.

Mais bel endroit pour un petit repas tiré du sac,il suffit de prévoir. Endroit calme.

Schönes, gut geführtes Hotel. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und persönlich. Das Zimmer gut ausgestattet und sauber. Auch das Frühstück und das Restaurant hervorragend. Die unmittelbare Lage hat zwar nicht viel zu bieten, ich empfand sie mit dem Auto aber sehr praktisch, da man sowohl nach Bordeaux als auch ans Meer schnell gelangt. Direkt gegenüber befindet sich ein Supermarkt und in 5 Autominuten ein großes Einkaufszentrum.

Pasé una sola noche en este hotel, junto con mi pareja y dos hijas, para descansar durante un viaje largo en coche. Reservé una “habitación familiar” que resultaron ser dos dobles comunicadas: una con cama de matrimonio y otra ligeramente más pequeña con dos camas. Todo estaba muy nuevo y limpio, y el personal fue muy amable, incluso antes de llegar (contestando a mis preguntas por correo-e). No probamos el restaurante, ni siquiera para desayunar. La zona es tranquila pero industrial, como cabía esperar por la descripción y la cercanía a la autopista.
