Hotel was very good minor issues like no washing liquid or cleaning cloths except t towel and expected to leave kitchen clean. Also 2 bath towels per week unless you pay extra?? Small things make for better ratings.

Ideal stopping off point for a Bordeaux visitor

This trip was a stopover en route from Spain to UK on the TGV. The location 400 yards from the tram was great and Tallens has its own bars and eateries to interest a visitor if you dont want to take the 20 min tram journey into the centre.
The place was easy to find and clean and tidy.
The booking in process was easy and the staff conversant in English.
The room was nice and there was aircon which was useful as it was 32C outside.
The small food preparation area was well set out and allowed us to make tea, and prepare breakfast.
One concern, the lift contained a message saying there would be a charge for cleaning kitchen utensils etc but there was only a teatowel on offer and no washing cloth or washing up liquid so it was unclear how this cleanliness was to be achieved.?

Every summer, we were going to Bordeaux for two weeks, and stayed at this hotel. We always reserved and paid our hotels in spring. We did the same things this year too, but when we arrived, we were surprised. This year, they change the cleaning policy, and we don’t like it.
First we stayed for 5 nights, They didn’t clean the room and didn’t change the towels, they just got of trash. When I asked the reception, they told if you want this services, they are charging money!
10 days after we stayed for 7 nights again, they cleaned and changed towels and bed sheets after 4 days.

My stay was pretty much perfect. Modern room, very clean and with a great mattress and blackout curtains. Very nice and friendly staff!

The only thing missing was a sponge and some dishwashing liquid to wash my dishes. To be fair, I didn't ask if they had any, I just figured since there is an equipped kitchen with utensils, it should be there.

Again, it's a very minor thing compared to the overall experience. Very close to the tram station, going downtown was a breeze. I totally recommend.

8 days stay in pandemic days

We have stayed at this hotel every summer since 2016. We had a lot of wi-fi problems at previous stays. At this time wi-fi is perfect and we feel so good. Our room is a corner one, not very useful, but that is okay. Cleaning ladies are very good and so helpful. Room was so clean everyday. Reception was very nice.

Very comfortable stay

A pleasant property on the outskirts of Bordeaux with great transport links to the centre. The room had superb facilities with a kitchenette and safe.
However we informed reception that our safe was not working and they said they would fix it, but it never got done during our stay. I carried all our valuables with me whenever we went out which was a nuisance!
The property is also near a busy roundabout and tram line so if you open the windows you may be kept awake at night.

Overall great, but little annoying quirks

Overall great - book one night initially and extended to 3 night total. Had great sleeps & the concrete walls are very soundproof, so was very quiet and comfortable! The only small thing to say was that the wifi cut in and out a few times which was annoying (and didn’t work at all the morning of check out but the receptionist roped us out by letting us use his phone internet!! And another slightly annoying thing was that the kitchenette doesn’t have any soap, clothes or sponge and the housekeeping didn’t wash the dishes so he ended up having to wash them with shampoo and out hands... not ideal!

Room was clean and modern. It comes with a kitchenette with a stove, sink and fridge. It’s a block from the Forum tram stop, very convenient for getting around. There are 2 big supermarkets nearby. However, WiFi didn’t work in our room 5 out of the 6 days we stayed there. Apparently it worked only in some rooms. The staff was very friendly but they kept saying that a technician would come to fix it. It was still down by the time we checked out after 6 days. My husband had to work late into the night in the public breakfast room downstairs.

Very basic long-term hotel. Good value. Fridge, sink, and two burners and microwave for self-catering breakfast etc. Almost no functioning internet! Requested help, changed rooms once, all to no avail. Cable TV spotty also. Steel bed frame stuck out beyond mattress, so several bruised shins at night. Fairly spacious. nice location near Talence park and on tram line to downtown. Free parking 3 blocks away.

I got this hotel on a special discount on Black Friday at 75% off so more than happy. Cleanliness and condition were at a high standard. The suite had its own small kitchen area including electric stoves (which I didn’t use), fridge, microwave, cutlery and utensils which were very useful. Shampoo, shower gel, a hair dryer and handwash were provided along with clean towels when we requested. I came as a visitor rather than a tourist so I can’t tell you about the local enmities although there were close fast food chains nearby. Only criticisms would be the WiFi and the positioning of the lighting, being near the bed rather than the middle of the room meant the room felt a bit dim at times but there were also adjustable lights above the headboard on each side. I didn’t use the WiFi much due to the poor connectivity but if you are planning to use the WiFi then I suggest have an alternative such as data as a back up. All in all definitely worth the price I paid

Lovely modern hotel close to the centre of Bordeau

We stayed here for 3 nights from Saturday 15th September.
Our room was the terrace queen room. Well worth booking so you can sit out and enjoy breakfast or dinner out there. There are a table and chairs and also 2 sun bed type chairs. (Air con will only work when terrace door closed)
Really easy to get from the airpor, one bus and then a tram. We paid €13.90 each for all 3 days and could get on as many teams/trains/bats (boats) as we liked. We got this from the machine near the bus station at the airport.
2-3 mins walk and you are at the tram station to take you into the centre which took about 10-15 mins. Lovely things to see all around the centre! Spotted a Gordon Ramsey restaurant opposite the grande theatre.
There is a supermarket 5 mins walk from the hotel, we brought breakfast items from here as we had a fridge back in the kitchenette in the room. Just to warn you there is no cereal bowls! There is also a kebab shop opposite the hotel.
Hotel staff were brilliant and spoke English. They showed us were they kept maos for the city etc. They were also brilliant in booking us a taxi for the day we left to the airport as it was too early in the morning for buses and trams to be running.
Lovely weather! 30 degrees each day!
Would 100% revisit Bordeaux and this hotel again!

The front desk lady was super friendly. She address guests’last names , and she take notes for guests requests. And the Room was super clean and comfort. However, I did not realized that my room is actually very close to the tram/ main road until the time I lied on bed. So I have to close the windor all night to keep it quiet instead just leaving it open. I did not ask for a room change cs I was too busy for this trip. I would also suggest the hotel to have a “do not disturb” door tag for the room. Cs I was staying for a week, but I dnt really need housekeeping for each day.

Perfect for getting into the city

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights last week. The staff could not have been more helpful and gave us lots of advice and help booking taxis etc. The hotel is a 5 min walk to the tram stop which takes you into Bordeaux centre or beyond. There are 3 different tram routes going in and out of the city which makes it very easy to visit all the attractions. The room was comfortable and clean with a very useful kitchenette area with fridge, microwave,sink etc
The only complaint is that the metal bed frame is larger than the mattress and if you are not careful you may end up banging your shin on the corner of the frame which sticks out a few inches! Lots of restaurants, a supermarket and laundry within a short walk. Overall would recommend this hotel and would stay again on another visit to Bordeaux.

This is an excellent hotel with an easy access to the tram service to Bordeaux city centre.
The rooms are cleaned everyday - even weekends. The facilities in the room, especially for self catering, are very good. Staff are friendly and very helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Good location near tram into city and 15/20 drive to airport - just what we wanted. New place, all good, decent bed and shower. Even had hob,sink,microwave, kettle for self catering - although no table to sit and eat! Friendly staff who will show you where to park fofree just a few minutes walk away.

The hotel is very functional. We must have had the best room in the hotel (fifth (top) floor) with a wrap around balcony. The bed was super comfortable. The hotel and the room amenities (small stove top, fridge, sink, great shower, etc etc.) are great if you're looking for a base to travel and visit different wineries and downtown Bordeaux.

I read the review before booking this hotel. Well take time to read my review. I am very picky that's why I often read the review which is often accurate. This hotel is brand new, very clean, quiet and comfortable. The surrouding are beautiful, step out of the hotel across the street and you are in a gorgeous park. As well a few restaurant and bakery with walking distance. The supermarket also is near by for grocery shopping if you desire to cook for yourself or are on the jetlag like I was, in the gorgeous suite that I rented was a little kitchenette and a beautiful terrasse. I was awake in a middle of the night and did not have to worry about finding an open place to eat. And I did cook for myself. Also I need to mentioned that it is a quiet place where one can sleep all you want. You also can take the LRT just across the street from the hotel that takes you pretty much anywhere you want to go. Downtown for 1.50 Euros and you may also use the same ticket to take a tour on the canal by boat. Now regarding the welcome, the staff is very professional and very helpful. All in all I was not bother to give my credit card number as I paid all my reservation on line. I check in and out and it went pretty smooth and worry free. Now they offer breakfast buffet as well, I have not had a chance to try but it is there if you desire. All I can say, It is a 10 out of 10 for me and trust me I am a traveler, I travel for work around the world and this one is in my book. Thank you Staff

WOW!

WE LOVED OUR STAY HERE. The staff is super friendly. While it is like 5-6 km from the center city of Bordeaux, the tram is only 250m from the hotel which will bring you downtown in 20 min. Across the street is Parc Peixotto, which has a palace / château, fountain, lake, caroussel, beautiful flowers. A campus of the University of Bordeaux is 250 m away. Along the main street are a few eateries, a laundromat, and Casino Grocery store 500 m away. At the same location as the store is the bus stop to return to the train station.
The hotel room is impeccable. NEW, only opened in Dec. 2016. The lush towels still had lint on them. The room is very modern, spacious with a polish cement wall. A great bed and linens, a Spa shower, a kitchenette where we ate breakfast and supper. It had one set of cutlery, drinking glasses, plates, pots and pan but no cooking utensils. Not easy to flip an omelette with a fork. Plenty of storage space.
Bottom line- WE REALLY THOUGHT IT WAS AMAZING for the type of travellers we are. Would stay here in a heartbeat!

Hôtel avec tout ce qu'il faut. Communication facile avant la réservation. Bon accueil sur place. Parking payant avec 1h30 gratuite sauf samedi a partir de 19h00 et dimanche où c'est gratuit. Chambres confortables et propres. Salle de bain spacieuse. Cuisine frigo et micro-ondes dans les chambres. Restaurants a proximité. Tram avec un arrêt pas loin. Facile d'accès même en voiture. Je recommande.

La déco hélas est d'une tristesse !!! gris noir blanc....j'avais l'impression d'ètre dans un espace Leroy Merlin !!! Pas Ikéa, car il y a de la couleur...Tinéo la grisaille. Impossible de dormir la fenètre ouverte Becauz'avenue...
Et l'accueil, froid, austère, ficelé au style de la chambre gris noir blanc.
je plais ces gens vivant sans couleurs ! Le coeur en retrait.

Cette résidence hotelière aurait tout pour être agréable , mais malheureusement ma chambre donnait sur la rue principale de Talence , avec vue sur les lignes de tram , et aussi avec bruit dû aux passages très fréquents des trams .Autant dire que les nuits sont courtes...

L’aparthotel est très moderne. Le lit est confortable et la literie de très bonne qualité. L’espace de rangement pour les vêtements est très petit. J’étais seule et ça allait, mais à deux, non.

Je suis un peu déçue de la cuisinette très petite et sous-équipée: pas de bon couteau, une seule tasse, pas de liquide à vaisselle (j’ai demandé et obtenu le nécessaire).

Concernant l’appartement nous avons été déçues côté cuisine de ne pas trouver plus d’ustensiles a savoir passoire, cuillère en bois, couvercle adapté. De ce fait nous n’avons pas pu cuisiner et avons du manger a l’extérieur ce qui a fait augmenter nos frais non prévus.

Durante las 2 noches que estuvimos la tv no funcionó por un problema parece ser general.
No nos arreglaron la habitación, no la cama no cambiaron las toallas, por 70 € la noche no me parece nada correcto.

Etant de passage sur Talence, nous avons passé simplement une nuit au Ténéo Apporthotel Espeleta. Tout s'est parfaitement déroulé de l'accueil jusqu'au check-out
La chambre était très bien, propre et plutôt grande.
