good stay in bordeaux, hotel was in convenient location, around 10-15 minutes from centre.
although the room had simple cooking facilities which we didnot use, the room was a little cramped if you were eating in, and did not just sleep there.

Room was dated, woodchip wall paper, needed a refresh, door handle fell off the inside of the door and there was black mould in the bathroom shower. Didn’t use the swimming pool as it was too far away from the main building. Only 2 small toilet rolls provided for a weeks stay, room wasn't cleaned daily like in other hotels. No complimentary tea bags or coffee in room.

Awful stay

No information about late check ins. No information about check outs. Room was not what was sold in the pictures. Eventually Got the room we paid for but only for the last two nights of trip. Toilet was broken on arrival so I fixed it myself as I couldn’t contact anyone. Horrible smell in bathrooms. Showers were disgusting and such low pressure.
New room was abit better but still not great.
We paid for a room with full access to pool but the next day when searching for the pool we found out it was closed. This wasn’t written on the website or told to us before arriving. One of the main reasons for choosing this apartment was for the pool.
The receptionist was pleasant enough but really couldn’t help. I asked for a full refund (for the remaining nights) and to leave the hotel immediately but the hotel refused as the manager wasn’t in… we had a complimentary breakfast but really wasn’t anything special.
Beds were so uncomfortable that I woke up over and over again.
Overall I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The room was great, only real downside was no air conditioning (we were there during a heat wave) but there was a fan provided so that gave some comfort. Room was spacious enough and clean. Location is good, close to a grocery store and a couple cafes. Public transportation is about a 7-10 minute walk away for tram stops.

Terrible wifi but good on enviro stuff

If you have to use wifi for business, probably not the place for you. I was lucky because I had my phone to use the hotspot since I had to host a zoom meeting while traveling and I doubt the wifi would have been adequate. I do want to give the Adagio extra points for environmental reasons… No little plastic bottle of shampoo or plastic wrap soap everything refillable. Large room, small dining table good for work or two people to eat at, adequate pans and utensils, although the coffee pot barely worked). Fortunately I had my own kettle too). Comfortable bed and black out curtains. I chose the location because of proximity to fine arts museum, which turned out to be a disappointment, and location wasn't great for other tourist sights.

Great value for the price.

Nice place, located close to the city center in safe neighborhood. Didn't use the pool, but it's a nice touch. The staff was friendly and informative with special instructions for a late check in.

Large Subterranean car park. Reasonable size room. Good location.
Toilet seat wouldn't stay up. Shower is in a short-length bath. Quite a stretch to climb in, even worse to climb out because the floor is lower than you think. Plastic bath mat would have been useful.

We liked it!

We liked this hotel and would stay there again. Staff was great. Location wasn’t as good, as we had a 25 minute walk to the train station through what turned out to be a less desirable part of Bordeaux - not the hotel’s fault but still a consideration (the hotel itself was in a good area). Also, either the A/C didn’t work or we just couldn’t figure it out.

The first room we were given was the worst room we have encounter anywhere. After complaining we were given a slightly better room. Bigger and no filly carpet. Broken tiles in bathroom, mould. 7 days without towel change unless we paid extra. No cleaning of the room and we were asked to clean the kitchenette before we left.

Reasonable price 4 short/long term stay -Bordeaux

This is a smart way to stay shorter or longer period in Bordeaux. The aparthotel is easy to reach from the airport by bus 1+ (bus stop Republique ) and within a short walk to the centre. The staff were friendly and all speak English so do not worry if your French is not so good. Pay attention to the note aboutique working hours of the reception and if needed call in advance. The rooms have a kitchenette and big Auchan supermarket is close by so you can easily fix something warm to eat. The only thing that bothered me and litterary made me suffer was the bed - not so comfortable. However, there was a note about delivering new beds on 22nd May 2019 and hopefully they will be more comfortable.

I had an expectation as it was booked via hotels.com that it would be like staying in a hotel but unless you paid a premium when you got there there was no daily room service or daily change of towels included for a three night stay. I am sure when I booked this it said there was aircon and there was not there was just a fan in the room. Maybe it means there is aircon in the reception but it was misleading and with the temperature last week hitting 30 it was a big mistake to stay here.
The beds has no headboard and were very basic.
The staff were all very pleasant indeed and the breakfast was basic but good and the wifi worked well. The location is a walk to the city centre but too far to use as a base during the day. I think the expectation from the info on hotels.com lead me to expect something else.

We booked this hotel because it had a pool, when we booked it never once mentioned the pool opening times. The pool closes in September. We would have booked a cheaper hotel that didn't have a pool if we had known. Apart from that it's close to the city centre and ok for a weekend break

Simple, clean and efficient for 5 nights for a fair price. Good heating. Big window.
Breakfast was available for €9 but I used my little kitchen. Supermarket and boulangerie are nearby. A bottle opener is provided!
Close to main Art museums. About 8 min walk to the main shopping street. 10 min to the river/quai. And convenient for the tram and also the busline from airport to Gare StJean.So generally the location was fine.

The rooms where not as pictured in the advert, very dated. It was very noisy and unable to get a good nights sleep any night i was there.

There was a pool but could only access it by handing over your room key in return for the access fob but reception was not open and manned the time the pool was open so every time i wanted to use the pool i couldnt as there was no one on reception to get the access fob from and the pool was a main attraction in picking this hotel.

The staff where all very helpful and pleasant when the reception was open!!

my family stayed at this self catering hotel, big advantage was the location and pool, however accommodation was basic, clean and comfortable, a bit disappointed as there was no kettle or toaster, and had to pay additional fee for cleaning of the room or clean towels, we stayed for 7 nights, hotel staff were friendly.

Well-located very basic cheap hotel

The hotel was well-located close to the city centre and easy access to busses and trams. The room was very small and didn't look like the picture on the site. The closet was dusty but the bed was very comfortable and wifi worked well. The hotel has a pool but you have to ask for a special key from the reception to enter so we only used it once.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It offers great value and is well located. 15 mins walk from the centre and easily accessible from airport or train station via bus 1, get off at the Palais de Justice stop. No need to take breakfast as there is a boulangerie just round the corner. Strongly recommend if you are comfortable with a French apart hotel.

I came to spend some time in Bordeaux and watch the football. The hotel was nicely positioned being a 15 minute bus ride from the railway station and close to the town centre. The hotel is simple and not overly fancy. However it was clean and tidy and my room was spacious and comfortable I would heartily recommend it as a value for money option.

The internet connection comes and goes. U need to work on it especially for people who need the internet for work.

The hotel has a perfect location since it is close to the pharmacy, the supermarket and the tram line.

No room service at all. This should be fixed.

The reception closes at 9 pm. I came at midnight and the door was closed. Luckily a girl came to the hotel and let me in otherwise i would have slept outside.

Good for a city break in the summer

It's worth upgrading to a suite with a separate lounge and small kitchen. You will probably save the extra on the amount you will spend on breakfast and snacks. There is a small Carrefour 3 mins away. The pool is small but quiet. It is only 5 minutes walk to the brilliant tram service which will take you all over Bordeaux. Parking is extra and only worth paying if you've got valuables in your car.

The hotel price is far expensive interms of quality of hotel. Internet connection was very poor. The sleeping bed makes lots of noise even if you sit gently and no cleaning of room even if you stay for a week until you pay for additional money for clining. Will prefer to try some other.

Towels and Hot Water Inadequate

Beware staying in this hotel for a period - you only get one shower towel for a week. This is so flimsy that it will cope with 2 showers, and that's it. Also, shower is supplied from it's own (small) boiler, so the quantity of hot water is VERY limited. Don't go for the expensive breakfast, wander over to the Meriadeck centre and use a cafe there. Hotel good for the centre (10mins) and tram to airport. You MUST keep the code for the door - or else you get locked out. Wifi inadequate for anything than (small) emails. Area quiet, and safe. Bin only emptied once a week, so don't use the kitchenette for anything smellly!

a hidden gem

We were both very pleased with our stay here. The location was fantastic and the facilities proved to be very handy if you wished to eat in. The room was nice and airy even though we picked a studio . 'the neighbourhood was very nice and easy to walk to different areas in Bordeaux. I would have liked another mirror in the room as there was just the one in the bathroom but its a small thing. Would definitely go back again if visiting Bordeaux.

The hotel was ideally located close to the old part of Bordeaux. The staff were very helpful and secure car parking was located under the hotel - very convenient. The only downside was that the double bed was attached to the wall and no headboard, just a gap between bed and window. Not ideal unless you want to be really cosy and a bit of a contortionist getting out if you were next to the wall!

Nice location 5 min walk to shopping area. Good safe parking in the streets nearby. Staff very polite and spoke good English (a plus as our French is basic).Good prices compared to other locations. Rooms very small and noisy at night also no aircon or way to improve the airflow -with windows open the noise was intolerable( mostly it would appear from students resident at the connected school at the rear) and with the windows closed in the summer July when we stayed just too hot to bear. This is a shame as the staff from cleaners to the manager are very good and try their best to provide a good clean hotel. The cooking facilities were more than adequate and the fridge was a boon with a small icebox. Would recommend this place for a 1 or max 2 night stopover after that you will need to find something better to catch up on your sleep.

Good hotel fairly recently built. I had a single bed room. Kitchen could do with better and more equipment. No toaster no oven. Again a scary underground garage, this one was brightly lit but very confusing on how to get in and out with very little signage. It took me 10 minutes to find the only exit sign. I had room 1 on the ground floor next to reception and breakfast area and was woken both days at about 5 am when there was a lot of noise preparing for breakfast. Managed to do all my washing and drying for a very reasonable €5 and it took about 1.5 hours. TV channels a disappointment but that seems to be the norm in France very little if any non French.

Pretty basic.

Placed in the middle of Bourdeaux, this hotel is pretty basic.

We booked for four people and did not get four sets of towels. There was no one at reception, so we could not get that rectified (our plans included leaving soon next morning).

The room was pretty good sized - bigger than usual for a hotel but, then, this is an aparthotel.

The room was clean - but just with a small layer of dust due to the long time since the room was used.

The cupboard had sliding doors and one of them was not in place - opening and closing them was difficult. Again, lack of personnel at reception made this impossible to rectify.

Furniture was kind of low end Ikea.

We struggled to find parking for our car - had to go to a public parking nearby. Not the best option after a long drive from Calais. However, we were given the option to reserve parking and did not make use of it - so not really the hotel´s fault.

So good to spend the night during a long drive - not so much for a pleasure trip.

I have said \"i would recommend\" - but the recommendation goes with the above caveats.

Great Value for money!

Booked this for a 3 night break late sept. Great value for money, kitchen was equipped with a fridge, combi-oven, job and sink. Your Not gonna be pulling together any banquets but simple and functional. Room wasn't massive but it was clean, tidy and just enough to keep us happy. Location wasn't the best, the neighbourhood seemed nice, peiceful and safe but it was a good 15-20min walk to the old town which is where we spent most of our time, but that's where the price comes in! bargain- would definatly stay there again

Wasn't a bad stay. Found it to be quite cheap and the mini kitchen was useful, except that there's no oven and the freezer consists of a shelf in the fridge that was covered in ice. Don't bother using it, it doesn't keep items frozen (we used it for some Mars ice creams). Bed was comfortable and there were 9 available channels on the small tv, the only English one being BBC World News. There's one cupboard with space to hang some items on one side and some shelves on the other. There were only 5 available hangars though. Also, the upholstery on the chairs was very old and torn. Overall the room was quite small and lacked some presentability. The bathroom was quite small, with a very small bath, only good enough to stand in and have a shower. My only other moan was that we weren't at any point told that we had to leave the room with all the kitchen utensils, crockery, etc cleaned. So when we proceeded to check out, we were sent back up to do so, which I felt was very demeaning. Otherwise, if you want a cheap stay with a 10-15 minute walk from the town centre, this will do.

Ridiculous reception hours makes this hotel hard to check into. The chairs in the room were broken and everytime we turned on the taps in the bathroom a very unpleasant smell came out. For a couple, the bed is tiny. Also the location is not great, walk into town was ages away, the walk from the train station is about 50 minutes

Great location and accomodations

This hotel was close to the old city (a few minutes walk to St Andre Cathedral and Place Gambetta), but far enough off the beaten path that it was quiet at night. It was great having a kitchen available (with dishes!), and a market and bakery just a short distance away for resupply. We felt very safe walking at night in this part of the city. The staff was very courteous and pleasant, and we would definitely stay here again.

Un très mauvais souvenir

L’hôtel est répertorié comme étant dans le centre ville: ce qui n’est pas, car il est à 2 km voir 2 km et demi du centre-ville. Cela comporte une organisation des trajets qui implique parfois une dépense ultérieure (taxi, Uber). Le lieu est généralement propre mais mal tenu, la poignée de ma porte d’entrée était cassée (elle m’est restée dans la main au moment de la fermer de l’intérieur). La pièce était froide, il y avait pas une prise à côté du chevet, il y avait juste une abat-jour (dans une chambre pour deux personnes). La télé ne fonctionnait pas. Je restais 2 nuits, donc je me suis plaint: j’ai demandé un geste commercial (qu’on m’a pas offert), d’annuler la réservation pour la 2eme nuit (pas possible sans frais car « j’en m’avais pas choisi au début l’option »). Dans l’après-midi la poignée a été fixé et la télévision fonctionnait (4 chaînes seulement…). Pour un total de 120 euros par nuit petit déjeuner exclu je trouve inadmissible un service pareil. Un arnaque. Je déconseille vivement.

Le studio était propre mais tout y est très vieilli et austère. Même pas un sachet de thé, pas d'interrupteur lumière à côté du lit, mal insonorisé, chauffage bruyant, personne à l'accueil un samedi à 17h...
Le personnel au téléphone et sur place le matin est serviable mais on déplore que l'hôtel se passe d'un tel service humain.

La chambre était très agréable, un point fort, la literie très agréable.
Besoin de refaire la salle de bains, un peu vieillotte à mon goût en remplaçant la baignoire minuscule par une belle douche.
L'accès est très pratique.

Das Hotelzimmer war sehr sehr schrecklich hier. Obwohl in unsere Buchung \"tägliche Reinigung\" gestanden ist, haben Sie trotzdem nicht geputzt. Am nächsten Tag die haben sie von uns Geld verlangt (für Handtücher und Badetücher). Alle Mitarbeiter waren nett (besonderes Camilla). Nur mit einer Mitarbeiterin haben wir Probleme gehabt. Sie hat immer von uns zusätzlich Geld verlangt. Wir werden dieses Aparthotel nie wieder buchen.

Notre chambre avait une fuite dans la douche et la porte fenêtre était défectueuse. On nous a changé de chambre très vite . La seconde chambre avait un problème de serrure sur la porte d'entrée. Cet établissement aurait besoin d'une bonne rénovation pour son attractivité et rester dans les standard des autres adagio.
Personnel sérieux , réactifs et fort sympathique.

Dans l'ensemble tout était bien l'endroit dans le calme au centre ville la communication et bonne Aurélie était très gentil elle répondu à nos attentes juste il faut une petit rafraîchissement de cet établissement. Moi perso je reviendrai.

Siempre hay un Ángel 😇

La entrada fue horrible,llegamos muy tarde sobre las 11 de la noche y no había nadie en recepción ,un frío de morirse y cansados ,tirados en el holl de la entrada.No nos enviaron email con el número de caja fuerte para recoger el sobre con la llave de la habitación y el tlf de urgencia era imposible ,salía una operadora hablando en francés ,dar las gracias a esa persona que sin decirnos nada y vernos allí tirados con las maletas,llamo a la recepcionista y a la una de la mañana pudimos ir a nuestra habitación .También decir que la cama incómoda no ,lo siguiente .Mejor siempre cama doble.El resto muy bien,agradecimiento nuevamente a esa persona que se compadeció de nosotros y nos salvó de no pasar la noche tirados en una silla.Gracias de corazón

Cet hôtel affiche des tarifs élevés en raison de la présence d'une piscine. Mais en interdisant aux clients de s'en servir avant 10h alors qu'ils doivent quitter les lieux avant 11h, la direction de l'hôtel fait clairement en sorte de les priver de ce service.

Struttura un po' datata, personale molto cordiale, pulizie da migliorare ( mai cambiato asciugamani e lenzuola per 4 giorni, moquette dei corridoi in pessima situazione). Colazione inadeguata per il prezzo richiesto. Posizione molto buona. Insomma luci e ombre anche se queste ultime sono maggiori delle prime.

Bien placé et correct pour le prix

Fenêtre qui joint mal d'où un bruit de sifflement avec le vent, gênant la nuit. Pas de porté-manteaux dans l'entrée et pourtant il y la place. Pas de notice sur le fonctionnement du micro-ondes. Ceci dit, pour un petit studio équipé, avec télé et wifi, pas loin du centre historique à pied, c'est très correct vu le prix.

Estuvimos muy cómodos, las vistas son muy bonitas, tiene de todo lo que necesitamos y muy caliente para la época que es.
No me gustó que coincidimos en el desayuno con personas que se levantaban a por comida sin mascarilla y nadie les decía nada.
Lo mismo pasó con un grupo grande que había en la recepción.

Apartamento sencillo pero perfecto para una estancia corta, a 5 minutos andando del bus del aeropuerto y a 10 minutos andando de la catedral.

Cocina con frigorífico, microondas, cafetera y menaje básico.

La limpieza se hace sólo a la salida (hay que pagar extra para limpieza diaria).

La wifi no funciona muy bien, y se escucha un ligero zumbido continuo.

Buena relación calidad / precio.

Personnel de l'établissement très agréable. Etat des équipements dégradé (prise à moitié sortie de son logement, portes des meubles de cuisine ne fermant plus, vis de fixation de la table arrachée du mur...). Au final, rapport qualité / prix juste correct vu l'état de l'appartement. Pas testé le petit déjeuner.

Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine dans un studio pour 2 personnes, la baignoire n'est pas pratique, très petite.
La piscine est sympa mais il faut sortir de l'hôtel passer par la rue pour pouvoir y accéder ce nest franchement pas pratique et elle est fermé entre 12h et 15h...
L'accueil est fermé de 13h a 14h et ferme a 19h en semaine et 18h le weekend..
Je n'y retournerais plus.

hôtel très propre , l'accueil est très bien.
le parking est a coté pas gênant du tout.
pour contre la piscine......j'etait venu avec mon fils de 5 ans, on s'est fait virés delà piscine parce qu'on en jouant dans l'eau on faisait trop de bruits.....c'est vraiment pas sympa pour les gamins.
