This place is very hard to locate. It is between 2 restaurants. The entrance is small. The staff is friendly. They didn’t tell us the breakfast were extra. We found out upon check out. The rooms were very small. The location is great which is about 30 minutes from the intercity train station, Bordeaux St. Jean.

We had one night here. The hotel was clean and the lady on reception spoke English which was helpful. Parking is very handy (opposite the hotel) which is arranged through the hotel: a QR code is given by Reception and you use this on entry to the car park. At the time of our entry, the QR code did not work and unfortunately instead of being €18 it turned out to be a whopping €35. However, we would stay here again, the location is brilliant.

Room 309 faced the Main Street with a bus stop in front and tram a 3-minute walk. Round the corner began the large, wide pedestrian shopping walkway with tram lines. Room was wide enough to walk around bed, had desk/chair with exposed closet. Bathroom smaller than a horse stall yet modern and functional. Did not eat breakfast here. Location beats all.

Pour notre bonheur, notre chambre étant située sur un coin, nos deux fenêtres donnaient chacune, sur une artère principale. L’accueil avec Stéphanie fut très chaleureux. L’hôtel est parfaitement situé à proximité des centres d’intérêts et du tramway. Bons restaurants près de l’hôtel. Pour le bruit, on ferme les fenêtres et tout devient calme. Nous recommandons cet hôtel.

The rooms are comfortable (the bed was great) the rooms are extremely small. The shower so small that my husband (6’2”) had to open the shower door to properly wash. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The windows are far from sound proof, it’s a lively neighbourhood but I sleep quite soundly.

QUIRKY BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN THE HEART OF BORDEAUX
The location of this hotel was a pleasant surprise. It’s at the top of the best shopping street in town and it goes all the way to the river. It’s inside an historic building that’s been refurbished resulting in some small and strangely shaped rooms.
I booked for only two nights but ended up staying four very comfortably. My room was a single which, unfortunately meant a single bed. Due to the shape of the room it made sense but I think a double up against the wall would have fit easily enough. While I slept well, I’ll check the booking more carefully next time.
There was a work desk, luggage rack, open wardrobe, TV, free WiFi and kettle with tea & coffee. There was a delightful view from the opening, full length windows.
The washroom was small but efficient. The shower was good, the toiletries good quality and the towels were soft.
The receptionists were all lovely and helpful. Breakfast is available onsite for a fee. Complimentary coffee was available all day from the machine in the lobby and, in the morning, pastries were also on offer.

Good location for walking and exploring the city centre. Close to good restaurants and shops. Room was stuffy; little or no air circulation. Hotel policy had set the heat/cool/fan to OFF. No need for heat or air conditioning but because there was no control of fan, there was little or no air circulating. Therefore stuffy. No solid good nights sleep for five nights. We have stayed in hotels around the world and this hotel was the worst value of them all. The room was ridiculously small, you had to bend down to pass by the end of the bad. The decoration was tired and the room sparsely furnished. Very disappointing for the price. The photo sums up the hotel, even the coffee machine in reception remained in this state throughout our stay.
