The staff were efficient, very friendly and very helpful. The room and ensuite were quite small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was okay but not high pressured.
Unfortunately there was no kettle and no tea and coffee supplies in the room. Sadly missed. Also there were no information leaflets in the room eg. meal times, menus, facilities available etc.

Room is good, bathroom is a bit too small with no toiletries. Most shocking no water at all except for a dispenser in the lobby. The heat in Bordeaux is very strong so the hotel should consider the hydration of their guests. Water is cheap to provide.

Got there from an overseas flights and took a shower early afternoon. Asked for additional towels as only 2
were in the room for a double occupancy.
Went downstairs to ask for more for a later shower and was given attitude for daring asking for additional towels. This is supposedly the higher end of ibis hotels chain.
1/2 coffee machines were not operating as always needed to be fixed by the staff who really didn’t seem to care as people were lining up to the only machine available.
Very poorly managed. Only young staff and no senior managers on site.
Staff seem to not care at all and super rude.
During the checkout someone knocked at our door 15 minutes after the deadline for our checkout.
Again was given attitude telling us it’s time to leave the room despite all the issues we encountered.

Area is ok just ahead of tram station. That’s the only benefit.

We will not stay there again.

Our stay was great!! The location was really good, a nice walkable area with nearby bus & tram stops. A couple stops away or a simple walk away will get you into the city centre which was great. The rooms, bathroom & all amenities were very clean and matched images. I was struggling to figure out how to use the tv's chromecast but the staff responded very quickly & helped me with that which I appreciated. Also we both really liked the breakfast options! I definitely recommend & will definitely return when I'm in Bordeaux next.

Depsite being advertised as an air conditioned hotel we arrived to very hot and stuffy room. When we asked about the air con we were advised that this wouldn't be turned on for another week and received a flat response that as it hadn't been hot until now it wasn't to be turned on for another week and this in Mid May!!!
We were offered a fan but the fan provided blew out more hot air that cold/cool air and we woke up about 3am due to a boiling room (according to the fan it was 31 degrees in our room.). We subsequently gave up with the fan and opened the window which didn't open much the only issue with this was that for the air to flow from the window into the room we couldn't close the curtains so we had to sleep for 3 nights with the curtains fully open in order to at least be able to sleep without sweating all night.

The breakfast buffet was very sparce with very little selection. of what was avaliable it was mainly end of items (eg of 3 jam pots available 2 had been scraped pretty much clean). It was not worth the £12 per person it was being charged for.

All staff were friendly and very helpful. Continental breakfast was very good, better than we anticipated. Great location for transport as tram just 100 meters up the road.
Bathroom a little awkward but does the job. Room clean. Will definitely use this hotel again.

A little gem.

After reading some reviews on this hotel I wondered what I had booked. Our stay was excellent, staff were helpful and personable and could speak English, which is always a bonus. The room was clean, well looked after and comfortable. Breakfast was a continental buffet style eat as much or as little as you wanted, with plenty of tea, coffee and fresh fruit drinks. They only thing that I would like to see is the facility of tea/coffee in the room. A pleasant experience. We would stay again.

Walking into the city center was easy from the hotel and getting to and from the airport using the tram system was very convenient. Suggestions for improving the property ... get rid of the carpets in the building ... they smell and are off putting ... tile or cement the floors. There are no restaurants around so the bar should offer \"tapas\", little things to eat in the afternoon and evening. We left very early in the morning and it would have been nice to have a cup of coffee or tea, juice and a croissant available. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Time to spruce it up.

The wine may be fine but the entire City of Bordeaux needs a good cleaning to start with. Compared to somewhere like Biarrittz they could also be better with treatment of tourists. There are a lot of wineries in this world.

The reception staff were lovely, attentive and helpful. Nothing we requested was too much trouble
There was indoor parking which is what we wanted
The bed was comfortable but the air conditioning was broken and we spent the night over quite a main road with a tram line outside, with the window open and a fan whirring all night. It was a nice touch that they had provided a fan in the circumstances but considering the price we paid, a reduction offer would have been welcomed
The room was clean but the towels not so much. The cleaning service was friendly and attentive

the room was adequate for my needs, good efficient bathroom , quiet at night. One of the beds needs a mattress change as it sags in the middle, the other was fine. Breakfast is good, although not too much choice of pastries, coffee good.
Air conditioning was not working but we were provided with a fan.

Worst ibis ever... whenever you go to Bordeaux try as much as possible to avoid booking a room in this hotel unless you have no other choice.
Ps there is no ac unlike what is mentioned in the description.

It was an awful hitel. Air conditioning was broken, no compensation, unable to pay the taxes in cash, staff were unpleasant and unhelpful, no manager around. We have been travelling to Bordeaux for 8 years and this was the worst hotel we have been at by miles!

The hotels air conditioning is not working! The hardly apologies! Then a guest was given my room whilst I was in it! They walked into my room whilst I was sleep and were able to get in without any issue, which makes me questions the security of this place. I went to
Speak to the manager before breakfast, her attitude was careless and rude. She did not even try to investigate what happened and did not say a word to me after, overall worse experience ever and I want my money back

very good clean hotel. Restaurant fairly good. Wine a bit expensive especially when compared to Spain. Staff friendly and helpful. Took a long time in rush hour to travel off the motorway through the town to the hotel. Had difficulty actually finding the car park. Would be helpful if it had a sign at the actual entrance to the car park or instructions on the booking confirmation.

Very pleasant hotel

Definitely a nice hotel overall. Compared to another ibis Styles property we stayed at in Paris, this one had a much larger shower and plenty of hot water coming out of the taps. The options for breakfast were quite nice as well.

Basic 3 star hotel, after staying at other Ibis Styles thought this was below par. Small rooms were clean, small bathroom, with only a combined shampoo, conditioner, body was provided.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the room downstairs in the lobby kettle with coffee sachets and sugar, no cremer or milk, herbal tea no black tea.
Was lucky enough to check in 12:20 which was early at no charge.

Won''t stay at an Ibis again

Only place we could find with parking during g a conference. Turned out to be a bad move. Hotel was 2Ks out of centre but with a close tram line so not so bad logistically. Our main issue was they were advertising rooms at €79 a night and we were charged €149 through the website. Second major issue was they decided it was getting chilly (i.e. Sub 25o in the South of France) so turned the AC off. We were in a pokey stuffy room for 5 days at the mercy of the mosquitoninfestation so had a miserable time.

Nice quiet hotel out of the centre of town.

The hotel is comfortable and quiet. Room was a bit hot the first night as the ac was switched off but it was on after that as the weather was so warm.
The nearest tram stop is across the street at Gauinies and is 1.50 euros per ride. I used it to go to the town centre.
To get a taxi from the airport was 40 euros but on the way back i took the tram to lycee de Merignac and tgen from there bus number 1 to the airport all fir 1.50 euros. Very quick and easy.
So although the location is out of town abd there is little around the hotel, it is very quick and cheap to go into town.

The hotel was a good basic budget hotel and was what we expected for the money. It was easy to find using our sat-nav, and had a good underground car park with plenty of room which was a reasonable rate per night. The hotel was clean and comfortable with quiet bedrooms and the breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice.
It was a 30 minute walk from the river front and less to the cathedral and museums.
Bordeaux itself is a beautiful city and well worth a visit.

Far Away from the Center of Town

Hotel is quite a bit out of the downtown district, but does have a tram station close by that makes it possible to get to the center of town in about 30 minutes. Rooms are small, but adequate. Decent rate as hotels in Bordeaux can be quite expense. Good value if you don't mind the commute. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but I wouldn't call it unsafe.

The hotel was convenient to the excellent tram system for Bordeaux with a car park which is a bonus(but there is only one lift to go to -2 level of parking to get the car). The room was poor. Only one bedside table, very odd design features, plastic curtains etc. The bed was awful - mattress very old..Breakfast was mediocre. The coffee tasted of not much and the bread and pastries very poor quality.The rooms were well cleaned, but the front desk service was not very helpful - I've booked a double bed room and we received a twin bed room, after we talked with help desk we get a double room. I certainly would not stay there again for a weekend.

freezing nights

as is usual in europe hotels won't turn on the heat unless it's officially the time to do it on schedule. We had a cold front for the past weeks in northern france, some nites it was as cold 50F and still they wouldn't turn on the heat. I had to ask for extra blankets. Very unpleasant. The hotel is also far away from the city center. gotta take the tram that luckily stops very close to the hotel. Also there are not many restaurants nearby. So thanks for the tram or this hotel would be cut off from civilization. The area is safe but very few people walk there. Better stay closer to city center.

Very good experience, one that I extended from 2-5 days. With the tram outside and it's walking distance to the cathedral and town center it was great. Finally, when I was leaving for check out it was a problem with my credit card and of course I was rushing to get to a train. The hotel manager kindly took all of my information and told me I could wire the balance as soon as I contacted my bank ( where the funds were certainly available lol). That couldn't happen in the United States so I give Ibis thumbs up

Can't beat the price

The hotel is not in the best location but it's very close to a tram stop which takes you in 10 to 20 minutes to all the main areas of Bordeaux. The hotel lobby is spacious with a large breakfast area, the continental breakfast was included with the price so I can't complain about that. Overall the hotel and room was clean, the only thing I didn't like was that the hallway where my room was located smelled as if someone had just stopped smoking and I felt that my room also smelled a little bit as if someone had smoked. The majority of french citizens are heavy smokers so I guess that was the reason for the smoking smell. Overall you can't beat the price, I would stay again if I was trying to save money for a one to two night stay.

Great stay

The service was outstanding and the breakfast was excellent. When I was there, several strikes and protests were going on. The service team in the hotel worked with us to find suitable alternatives to day trips and in general was helpful and responsive. The room was a good size and I enjoyed that the hotel was a bit outside, yet conveniently located close to the tram.

Good Hotel with Car Parking in Central Bordeaux

We have an expensive car, so secure parking is important to us. We also like to be within walking distance of the centre when visiting cities, and to stay in a reasonable quality hotel.
This Ibis Style hotel ticks the boxes.
It is modern and clean, but not particularly classy, and it suited us for an overnight stay in Bordeaux.
It offers an inclusive continental breakfast, which was of good and varied quality, although the restaurant was very busy at 0930 on a Saturday morning in October.
The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the cathedral, and another 5 minutes to the river.
There were plenty of vacant spaces in the underground car park (entrance ramp in the street behind the hotel), but also a lot a concrete columns to avoid. You really need someone to watch the corners of the car when negotiating the way out,
We'd booked a couple of weeks ahead, so we were a bit put out that there were rooms available on the Friday evening at a cheaper rate.
Finally, if arriving from the north ignore Sat Nav attempts to direct you to the hotel by going into the city and then coming out to the hotel. It was a traffic nightmare. Instead, go round the ring road and come off at the junction for the street where the hotel is.

Hotel 10 minutes from the Lianes 1 bus stop Barriere d'Ares (other side of the Cemetery!) takes 45 minutes but only 1.5 euros compared with the airport bus at 8 euros and only stop at the main rail station. Hotel like all Ibis Styles modern and bright rooms not large but adequate for our needs. Hot water in shower almost straight away and powerful. Large comfortable beds, a/c and hairdryer (no coffee/tea making facilities) but bar downstairs. Breakfast had plenty of variety but all cold. Staff very pleasant and helpful with directions. 20 minutes walk to City Centre on a straight route.

The area around the hotel was a bit run down, likely due to the on-going recession in France, but the hotel itself was fine and once you learned the bus and tram system, getting to and from it was very easy.....staff were very pleasant and helpful, particularly with getting access to a computer as the one for guest use in the lobby was broken during our entire 11 day stay. The restaurant was small and the food was good, even if the menu was a bit limited.

The bed was very hard and sleep difficult to come by.Breakfast was mediocre. The coffee tasted of not much and the bread and pastries very poor quality.The rooms were well cleaned, but the front desk service was not very helpful. We asked for more coat- hangers and were told that 6 was standard and that was that. Likewise with pillows. There was one spare and that was all we could have. I certainly would not stay there again for a weekend.

There are few options near downtown Bordeaux that match the All Seasons. Rooms - esp. bathrooms - are rather smallish, but comfy and reasonably priced. Not great but definitely OK, particularly when considering that breakfast and wifi are included.

All Seasons Bordeaux Meriadeck - easy for business

If you want a hotel that is perfectly clean, comfortable, and with a reasonably sized room & free wifi, this will work well. The beds in Bordeaux hotels are notoriously uncomfortable - this one you can actually sleep properly in!

It's not the most convenient of locations, but it's very close to the tram and you can be by the Opera in 10 minutes, otherwise late at night it's a 25 minute walk back from town.

There's a decent bar and breakfast is included.

Nous fait payer un petit déjeuner pour la personne accompagnante alors qu’un seul de consommer car pour ma part je quitter l’hôtel à 4h du matin (ont m’a bien entendu oublié de préciser qu’il était possible de demander à l’emporter)
Habitué des Styles je suis très déçu de cette hôtel et du marketing. Cela me donne la réflexion d’aller dans une autres chaîne.

Para ser un Styles,la comida es básica y poco variada.En otros he encontrado por ejemplo Nice, diferentes tipos de huevos,salchichas , más fiambres pan fruta yogures siempre el mismo bowl... después del tercer día uno empieza a disfrutar menos del desayuno. Si eres vegano o celíaco.....ni te digo, el restaurante precio ligeramente elevado para el servicio me trajeron la copa de vino a 20 grados con una temperatura de 37 afuera...no venía de una cava. Siento que alguna vez brilló...El personal correcto en todo momento, el último día nos dejaron un sólo juego de toallas siendo 2 y con una temperatura que no bajó de 30 grados qué esperaban que no nos duchemos a diario? siento que esos detalles no pueden pasar..ah es también cuando extrañas tener un frigobar en la habitación.. con semanas de tanto calor..

Concernant le petit-déjeuner le pain est servi à la demande si bien qu'il a fallu attendre longtemps avant que le buffet ne soit réapprovisionné. Dommage ! Le personnel n'anticipe pas assez les demandes.
La poignée du distributeur de jus d'orange frais était cassée. Nécessité de bidouiller le robinet pour se servir en jus.

Más que un comentario, quisiera poner una queja ya que nunca me había pasado algo igual...
La reserva era para dos noches.Al llegar a la habitación del hotel en la segunda noche de estancia, nos encontramos que se habían olvidado de hacer la habitación, es decir, las tollas estaban sucias y las camas sin hacer.
Bajo a hablar con el responsable del hotel y no me da ninguna solución (al menos toallas limpias), limitándose a decir que informará al responsable del turno de la mañana..
Cuando bajamos a desayunar por la mañana la responsable me dice que NO tiene ningún aviso o notificación de incidencia.
Ante mi asombro, le respondo que jamás me había pasado algo parecido y me responde durante el Check Out que me puede compensar dándome algo de beber para el viaje, a lo cual le dije que no era necesario.
En fin, pagamos por las dos noches el mismo precio y obviamente esperaba otra respuesta.
