Then, we discovered that one of our rooms was extremely unclean with a pervasive odour of urine. We asked for help in addressing this. We were unable to switch rooms and were told that the room could not be cleaned again. Front desk said that they would come with products to deal with smell, but nobody came. It was a very unpleasant stay, to say the least. I would not recommend this hotel.

Easy to get to great location really nice staff quite a spacious room with tean coffee and kettle very nice surprise . Clean with a great shower . Only reason its not 5 stars all round waa because the room was set at 16 i would have thought for most 18 min ...and i prefer 20 22. Another time i would take warmer clothes or get a twin room so i could have 2 duvets warmed up once in bed but not ideal . The other reason was i had expected the evening restaurant but its shut fri sat sun ...not that clear in description ...4 restaurants visible from the front door open on sunday so not an issue really but travelling solo i dont like to go out to eat would have brought a picnic if id known .

There are roadworks around the hotel that make it very difficult to access. We phoned for advice and staff said ‘Just use your GPS’. The car system was useless but Google Maps found the way. Rooms are smallish but OK, restaurant is OK and we probably should give it another chance when roadworks are completed.

Overall, it was good, i recommend it. It was clean upon arrival, room space was good, bathroom space good and clean. Unfortunately, when we wanted our room to be properly cleaned by the cleaner they skipped our room even with the door post “Make my room” hanging on our door. Not sure why??? Maybe cause we left the room around 10:15?? I don’t know but i never had that problem before. So all 3 nights our room was not properly cleaned....Besides that the breakfast included was decent and close to airport if needed.

It is like most airport hotels. The price was competitive and the hotel is OK. They have a reasonable price/quality restaurant. We would probably stay there again. An airport hotel is no destination, but merely a place to sleep before you catch your morning flight.

This hotel was more like a 2 star and nowhere near a 3 star and the customer service was more like a zero star! To start with, this hotel is on a motor way and nothing near it. You will need to travel at least 2 bustops to find somewhere to eat. There was shaved hair everywhere around the sink in my room and the shower was not cleaned either. I have never experienced hotel reception staff so rude to customers in my travelling experience! They are rude, unhelpful and certainly not enjoying their job! Marion or Maryann on reception was absolutely the most disgusting and rude receptionist I have ever come across! She even told me to leave and find another hotel if I wanted air condition so badly as they refused to switch on the aircon in this hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights and my room was very hot for a full 2 days and the hotel refused to do anything about it. They only switch on the aircon during the summer even though this was not mentioned when I booked this hotel - It would have helped if I knew this before booking. I was told the managers don't work weekends when I asked to speak with a manager about the situation. I had a horrible experience at this hotel and I would advice other travellers to avoid this hotel if they want a pleasant experience. This was my first time staying here and I will NEVER stay in any Campanile hotel ever again!!!

A lovely hotel, close to the airport very clean and the bed super comfortable. Sadly what let it down was reception. No one there when I arrived and no bell to ring to attract attention. I must have been waiting five minutes before anyone came and by that time I was sitting on my suitcase in the lobby. Not what you want after a long drive. It appears that the staff worked the restaurant as well but really, early evening someone should be there. Other than that I would stay again

We came exhausted from hours spent on the motorway in a traffic jam, and discovered the lack of availability of restaurants in the area so we opted to eat in the hotel. Don't. The buffet looks great, but the fries were cold, the beef was incredibly tough, the lamb fatty and overcooked, the fish overcooked and had a bad taste,....etc. Perhaps ordering a simple main might work. The room was clean. The breakfast was expensive, as was the coffee. The plus side is the fact that the hotel is very close to the airport.

This hotel is near the airport but benefits from being on the main bus route into city and also nearby big shopping centre. The staff were generally very pleasant and helpful. Dining area and terrace lovely and food very good. Room was good size and very comfortable- would benefit from having a mini fridge and more tea/coffee. Housekeeping was excellent. Great value for money.

The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. The reception was efficient except the lady did not tell us that a hot breakfast (which we had paid for) was only available until 9 am. We came down at 9.05 and it was all gone. A typical cold selection was available until 9.30. Disappointing. Dinner also was not great but could not complain about the price. Overall I thought the rate was expensive for Campanile.

Good for a short stay before catching a flight!
The shower is only half enclosed so water drips out of the shower to the bathroom. We also wished they had wash cloths. It's hard to clean your face without one. The sink was plugged but was quickly corrected. Other than that, it was pleasant for a short stay. We stayed one night upon arrival at Bordeaux Merignac Airport and the night before we left. On our second visit, the AC couldn't be controlled. It kept reverting to a higher temperature and then the AC totally shut off and became warm so that woke us up periodically.

We've stayed in many Campaniles, this has to be the smartest. Easy to find off The Rocade. Staff friendly, restaurant looked very nice, though ate elsewhere.

82 steps to a view
It was tough lugging the suitcases down the stairs, all 82 of them! We would have liked to know ahead of time that the bedroom was on the 5th floor and the toilet was on the 4th floor and there was an open window to pass by on the way down. No robes provided. The owner rents 3 apartments the promotional material reflected our bar stools and kitchenette, but nothing else was recognizable.
The kitchenette was very workable and well stocked.
The owner promised 30 euro parking, we paid the cleaners 30 euros, but the card they gave us wasn't loaded. The parking attendant let us go, but explained it was illegal to subcontract to tenants of the residents. Had we not been able to speak French, this might have gone a different way.

Stopped over for 1 night on our way home. Lovely modern, clean and welcoming hotel. Great nights sleep, very comfy bed, no noise, and even our 2 dogs were welcomed into the hotel for an extra cost of €5.

But it seems the hotel's pool tables are a draw for the local youth, who periodically go outside to whoop it up into the small hours of the morning (3:45am.) When we mentioned this to a hotel staffer, he said, "yeah, they are loud," and moved us to another room overlooking the parking lot. But the local kids were mobile too, and soon started hanging in the parking lot as well.

Had high hopes for this conveniently located hotel. Staff was very helpful; onsite dinner was good. However, the room was underequipped, with only one plug in for phones etc, just two towels (no handtowel or washcloth), and, believe it, only half a shower door. Call me old fashioned, but little shampoos are a necessary accessory.

This hotel is fairly new, so it is in very good condition. The rooms are clean and adecuated. Normally is quiet, this las time was not so... The noise from the people in the bar area was a litte to much. The restroom could be improved adding one towel extra. Other than that the hotel is very well maintained, the staff very nice and close to the airport.
