The mediocre rating is due to the size of the room. It was a little box with barely room to get around the twin beds. It was an “airport overnight “ with a friend, so it sufficed.
Access to the second floor was via a rather scary circular staircase We felt it was unsafe. As exclusive English speakers ( not proud of that), we were unable to read the gate notice if one existed. The lobby is not staffed 24/7. We left our hotel key in the room and attempted to leave. However, you need your room key to use the gate. The number posted on the lobby door did not answer either a direct call or a text attempt. We were stuck!!! Luckily, an employee arrived and opened the gate for us. Merci beaucoup to him.
All that said, the staff were lovely, the room clean and the beds comfy. Excellent essentials.

The doorknob was broken making access to the room challenging. The room had only one plug available for charging that was not in the bathroom. Only two bath towels in the room. No hands towels. No hair dryer.

The property is overpriced for what it is, even within the highly priced Bordeaux area. It is convenient to the airport and the tram into the city is within a walkable distance ... less than 2 km. However, the room was unattractive, totally basic, small - old style motel. We’d booked and paid for a triple single room to have more space but were allocated a twin ... massive building project next door and new tram line being built in front didn’t add to its appeal. There was a mosquito problem in the room, plug in provided showed that the problem was known but solution ineffective.

When we checked in we were informed that one of the beds was a camp bed that we had to assemble.

Standard Campanile hotel but the staff were very pleasant and helpful. There was a leak in the roof of my room which I hope was an isolated event. The trams construction is under way on the road so be aware they may be diversions for your journey. I would come back if the same staff were there ..

Great stay!!

Reception staff and room attendants were really friendly. We were given a room facing the parking. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend the breakfast and lunch at the hotel. Very well priced and food is amazing. Well done to the chef.

We stopped over on route, the hotel staff were friendly the room was clean comfy but basic. Hotel has secure gate for night time. We ate in resturant on 1st stop over and was disappointed the steak I had was of poor quality chewy so I sent it back they came back with another (not really just cooked my original to death) which because I was hungry after 13 hours driving ate it but I should have refused it. So on second stop over we ate out. This would not put me off stopping there just not eat there.

Good for access to A10

It's close proximity to the outer ring road round Bordeaux makes it a good overnighter. Two floor wooden chalet type building very old and tired but plenty of off road parking and room was clean, bathroom good and bed comfy. Tea/coffee making in room and restaurant in main building for breakfast and dinner. Excellant value for basic accommodation.

value for money hotel

It was a decent stay and for the price i really can't complain about the cleanliness, comfort and convenience. The pictures on the website played up the room a little though and it was not as clean as it looked in the pictures. The room was too small for 3 people and would recommend not triple sharing.

We used this hotel for a overnight stopover. We were travelling with two dogs. It was very easy to find. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived at 9.30 pm and were still able to get a meal. The hotel was clean, bright and had secure parking. The rooms were not particularly large but certainly sufficient for our requirements.

Campanile Bordeaux Le Bouscat- quiet and clean

This hotel was definitely a trek away from the city center and train center, but the price was great. If you have a car it would be worth booking here, but between cab fares and bus tickets, we ended up spending a lot more than just the hotel costs. The location is very quiet and serene, the room was clean and the shower was great. My only other complaint would be that we booked a room with 3 single beds, and the third bed was a trundle bed on the floor. Not terrible for one night, but would have been nice to know.

Simple and good service

The hotel is in an outlying location so it depends where you need to be. It was convenient to the Palais des Expositions that we were going to. It was simple but the owners and staff were very nice and did their best to make our stay comfortable.

Déçue. Chambre pas du tout insonorisée surtout quand vous avez une fête à proximité. Un boum boum incessant avec vibration ressenti jusque dans le lit, jusqu’à minuit sans compter les aboiements dé chiens venant du bâtiment d’en face.

Le site de L’hôtel campanile, le Bouscat annonce hôtel restauration. Pas de restauration possible mise à part le petit déjeuner.
Cet hôtel A dû avoir ses heures de gloire, mais tout ceci est bien loin. Vétuste et vieillot, salle de bain sans douche Italienne, l’éternel, sabot, inconfortable et Dangereux pour les glissades.
Très mal isolé phonétiquement. Je ne conseille pas.
Dommage car le rapport Qualité prix et très contestable.

Mon séjour c'est bien passé à part une nuit où un car de jeune sportif a fait du bruit jusqu'à 00h30, j'ai dû demander à la reception de les calmer.
Sinon très propre et très accueillant du point de vu du personnel.
Seul point négatif la literie n'est pas confortable, j'ai passé des nuits horribles impossible d'avoir un sommeil correct. Le site mériterait d'être rénové, literie, peintures interieures et extérieures, c'est un peu dommage car personnel charmant.

Campanile : valeur sûre !

Les équipements sont un peu vieillots et vétustes, mais on s’y sent suffisamment bien et à l’aise ! Les établissements Campanile sont une valeur sûre pour moi.
De plus, celui-ci fait parti des rares établissements qui proposent un anti gaspi « too Good to go » : excellente initiative ! Bravo et merci à vous !

J’ai apprécié la réception. Je suis arrivé tôt, la chambre n’était pas encore prête mais j’ai pu déposer mes affaires. J’ai été un peu déstabilisé par le sytème d’ouverture de la porte, mais après avoir compris ça s’est bien passé. Le petit déjeuner propose une Bonne variété d’aliments.

Prix de la chambre près de 165€, et oui jour de concert on en profite un max.
Chambre avec 2 lits alors que 3 à la réservation.
Plus de place de parking pour se garer à l’intérieur après le concert.
Chambre salle et la salle de bain avait carrément des insectes qui se baladaient.
Chambre à côté très bruyante et personne à la réception, le. Ilets affiche sur la porte sur répondeur.
Merci pour cette belle expérience.

Arrivés plus tôt que prévu, le réceptionniste nous a laisse les clefs pour que nous puissions mettre nos valises.trop sympa Conforme aux demandes souhaitées, chambre au calme, éloignée de la route.

L'hôtel est bien desservi par le tram, un centre commercial juste en face...

Comment peut on servir des petits déjeuners de la sorte , pour un prix de 8 € chez brit'hotel, je conseille a campanil d'aller jeter un oeil , chez brit'hotel , o,n ne peut que y revenir et conseiller cette chaine hotelière .

Attention : motel bruyant et pas moderne

Certes, l'accès calamiteux n'est que temporaire, le temps des travaux du tramway, mais ce \"motel\" a d'autres défauts. Les chambres qui donnent donc toutes directement à l'extérieur, ce qui n'est pas toujours confortable selon les saisons et le passage, sont de plus mal isolées phoniquement : on profite des voisins qui parlent un peu fort, et surtout de tout le va-et-vient du parking !
À part cela, les salles de bain sont un peu vieillottes (pas de robinet thermostatique, rideau de douche pas pratique, ...), il n'y a qu'une seule et unique prise de courant dans la chambre (loin du lit !), mais il faut reconnaître que le personnel est aimable et le restaurant très correct (plats et/ou buffets entrée et desserts).
