This hotel is located just off exit 7 of the A10 motorway and is the ideal venue for a tour of the 'Entre Deux Mers' vineyards or for a stopover. It is around 600 m from the Campanile Restaurant, 4 km from centre of Eysines and some 6 km from Bordeaux and its tourist centre (Place des Quinconces).
The Atlantic Coast is just 1 hour away and it is roughly 40 km from Lacanau beach and a few minutes from Bordeaux-Mérignac airport (9 km). This eco-hotel is great for business or pleasure and provides all the services guests need for an enjoyable stay.

I’m not one to write reviews (unless my experience was exceptionally good), but our stay at this hotel was nothing short of horrific. I wish there was an option to give 0 stars. Fortunately, we only stayed for one night. Walk with me, while I share my experience.
1) Exterior is run down. You can tell it has not had a paint job in a very long time.
2) An extremely small space, that barely fit two medium sized suitcases, without stumbling over them. The room is a reflection of the exterior- run down.
3) Dirty walls and floor, stains on the bedsheets and a dead spider hanging over the window.
4) Infested with mosquitoes- we woke up to multiple bites.
5) The bathroom was extremely small (looked like those “mobile” bathrooms made out of plastic, which you’d find inside a caravan). Probably the equivalent size of a photo booth. And with that, very bad odor that spread into the room itself. We were under the impression that anything that was flushed down the toilet did not make its way all the way down, so it smelled like we were sleeping next to a sewer. On top of that, the water would linger in the shower and not go down the drain right away.
6) The AC blows hot air.
The lack of maintenance at this hotel should be studied.

I stayed one night as I had an early flight in the morning. Very easy to get to from the city centre. And reception spoke some English which helped with check in. There’s a key drop so you can leave any time. And the main doors are locked after hours. It was a clean cozy place to get some sleep before my flight.

Convenient for tram and travel links. There is no tea or coffee facilities in the room and the restaurant wasn’t open at all during our 2 night stay, so no drinks or food available. The reception was closed early.

There was never anybody on reception while we were there. To tell them about the issues. The metal grill was always pulled down. (From 11am). I learned after our day that they expect guests to go next door to a completely different hotel with a different name as they are somehow connected and the same members of staff cover both receptions …l I’ve never heard of such a set up before, it is certainly not for the convenience of the guests but rather to save them money!
During the night, I went to use the lavatory and the toilet seat shattered in half cutting me!
I reported these issues when I checked out and they barely cared just kept saying “don’t hesitate to ask for help”, which is pretty difficult when they have such limited time that the reception is open

Perfect hotel to spend the night to catch an early flight…not too early though as the first tram stopping at the nearby station, Cadera Issatier, starts at 4h45 am and there is no hotel shuttle available, to my knowledge (it takes 25 minutes to walk to the airport on a good sidewalk partially illuminated), based on my own experience (traveling on a Thursday).

Basic, in no way exceptional
Booked on the basis of all the exceptional reviews but it's nothing more than a basic road-side stopover hotel. I desperately needed a long and comfortable sleep after weeks of travel in intense heat. However, the aircon is controlled by reception and I was blasted awake at 7am with 24 degrees in the room. Signs on the window telling you not to open them and to ask reception to change the temperature. Had to go down to reception at 7am to ask them to turn it down, she told me I could have 19 degrees and no less. Restaurant service very slow, overpriced menu, and I was overcharged - it was returned after I checked my receipt, but was one of many trips back and forth to reception. Rubbish overflowing outside, no black-out blinds in the room, tiny shower with an unhygienic curtain that sticks to you, no hairdryer. Two tiny pillows with no spares - by that time I was too exhausted to go back down yet again and ask for another. I had intended to extend my stay so unloaded my car, but the night was so uncomfortable I left the next day. Check out is noon, I was locked out of my room at 12 exactly with half of my bags still inside. Yet another trip down to reception to get back in. It's fine if you want a one-night stopover but it's not exceptional by any stretch of the imagination.

On the team line, easy from airport, restaurants, Aldi and Lidl walking distance. My biggest issue is the bathroom stunk, like moldy sitting water. I arrived after 1am so was too tired to complain and change rooms, but the drain in my room definitely needed bleach. Beds were comfy, room was decent, microwave for use in lobby was a bonus.

We got to the hotel around 1am and there was someone at the desk to greet us and check us in. The rooms are small… the bathroom even smaller. The towels need to be changed desperately and the shower head is falling off. The shower is also very small barely fitting one person so it’s hard for the shower curtain to not touch you. The pillows were like half the size of regular pillows. There were stains on the curtains and on the walls. We only stayed one night so it was tolerable and it was pretty convenient how close it was to the airport considering how late we landed. It’s tolerable for a very short stay id say but wouldn’t recommend.

Next to public transport (incl upcoming tramway line) and adjacent to ring road/ autoroute, so easy access to downtown and surrounding areas. Excellent AC, a real plus for summertime. Otherwise, there were some annoyances (hot water supply waxed and waned on far top corner of building so adjusting it for comfort was \"challenging\"). Staff were almost all hospitable and helpful. Not always the case in France, so it was appreciated. Hotel is targeted to business travellers/overnighters, so the premium is on functionality not luxury. Obvious by location and price point. Bear that in mind. Excellent choice in that context, even if the plumbing needs some maintenance and or upgrade post-pandemic lockdowns.

This is a nice basic place to sleep. The staff were helpful. They printed out a boarding pass I needed. It is very quiet. I LOVE big window that I CAN OPEN!! Thank you. Unlike the USA where everything is locked up tight. yuck. They arranged a taxi for me in the morning. Bed was comfortable. Shower hot. Very clean. Nice full length mirror.

The bathroom tiled floor was dirty and smelled like a public toilet. The room was so spartan it felt completely unwelcoming. I have stayed at this hotel previously and expected only a basic clean room and bathroom. This room was a lwheelchair friendly” room, which is opposite the lift, so noisy as well. Disappointed.
