The room was very dirty: the walls had lots of stains, the area around the kitchen was disgusting, I found hairs in my bed and my kids were full of insect bite. Very disappointed. This place shouldn't be allowed to rent rooms.

this is the worst hotel I have been in all my life. DURTY, the walls with mosquitos stamped, the bath room dirty, the kitchen dirty, it was terrible. If you want I have photos. I really think that expedia abuse for the loyal customers not checking the property. As a person I don´t like abusing of others but in this case Expedia and the Hotel is abusing of us. I have tried to talk to the manager and he was very rude with us

Suprisingly pleasant

From the outside this accommodation doesn't look great. Both the outside and inside are tired looking. However it was clean, spacious and comfortable. It was a perfect stop over for one night. Air conditioning would have been great but not desperately needed. The beds were really comfortable. It had a well stocked kitchen, dishwasher and good size fridge.

This place has NO AC, NO FAN, No window screen so even opening the window is not practical. On a hot day, this place is worse than a jail cell.

Even the elevator is broken. This place shoul not be allowed to rent out.

Unacceptable conditions at Merignac all suites.

Disgusting.
First I was given a room which smelled like I was stand-ing in a sewer. Then I went to another & there was black mold on the ceiling which is dangerous. On the third attempt I was given a room which had grubby walls & a radiator in the bathroom which looked like someone had thrown a bucket of dust on it. I did not use the shower as I felt the place was not clean enough. Photographs don't add up to the conditions here. The staff were helpful but this is no good for travelers to stay in.

Our second time staying at All Suites! We choose this hotel mainly because we can cook and have a feeling of home away from home. This hotel is in a gated property: the automatic gates are closed at night and accessed with a special code. Reception is not open 24hours so late check-ins have to be by special arrangement. Don’t worry about not finding parking; the parking lot is huge! For an additional fee, breakfast buffet with a good selection is available from 6am-9am. Laundry can be done onsite via 2 washing machines and a dryer; you’ll need to exchange money at reception desk for tokens to operate these. The room itself is large, we had a bedroom closed off from the open concept living room/dining/kitchen area. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker and glass induction cooktops. Kitchen utensils, pots and pans, cutlery, are also provided. You’re expected to do the daily cleaning in your room and take out your trash but you can ask for fresh towels, etc. We didn’t see any elevators, we were lucky that our luggage was not heavy! Comfortable beds make for good sleep, and in the morning you’ll wake up to birds chirping in the trees. Needless to say, we enjoyed our stay.

The suite was very basic and old, it needs updating. The tiles in the bathroom were falling off, there is no Mirror except for in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was OK. There is plenty of parking, the location is good for only those who are driving. Overpriced for what you get.

Perfect overnight stay and 5 mins from airport

I was a bit wary after booking when I read some very critical reviews, but we wanted a more spacious room than we had in May in a nearby hotel. We had also been surprised last time at how many restaurants were closed on a Friday night, so the chance to eat in an apparthotel was part of the appeal. We brought a ready prepared meal and easily heated it in the microwave, plus wine in the fridge.
Very spacious, perfectly clean accommodation......comfortable bed, table that would have seated four, tiny, but adequate kitchen, plenty of room to hang clothes, cutlery, crockery, glasse, saucepan and frying pan.
Warm welcome in reception, clear directions given, when I asked, for nearest petrol station, and hairdryer supplied on request.
Admittedly the stairways needed swept....but guests should dispose of cigarette stubs more thoughtfully, and at 5pm I doubt many outside areas are spotless.
A lovely surprise was the sudden arrival of flocks of birds into the tall trees in the inner courtyard garden. Wonderful to watch and to listen to.
Will definitely stay again if flying from Bordeaux and happy to recommend it. A real bargain at just over 30€ when booked in advance.

Nice rooms

We had a big blanket with us.

Horrible Misleading Advertising

Hotel is far away from town center. Hotel front desk staffs work hours were short. I’d informed Travelocity operators to contact the hotel about my late train arrival and when I got to the premise no one were there to help me and my Uber driver need to ask for existing hotel guest to help under the dark. Room were on the first floor with cheap and dirty tile flooring and unsensitized towels and bed sheets. My children founded two spiders clawed by the bed. Just a very unpleasant experience.

I said no in the recommendation because you are a 30 minute ride into Bordeaux and that really eats into sightseeing.
Also be sure and ask for the soap for doing dishes as they do not offer it top you.

Selling rooms at this hotel is FRAUD! Not an airport hotel. Rooms for industrial estate workers who want to cook food. Kept waiting 6 hours for 4pm check-in. Hotel and reception closed 9pm. No air conditioning at 35Deg C. Staff nasty and refused access to closed reception and vending machine for bottle of water. Worse than any English B&B. Bathroom door ripped off see photo attached. Avoid if possible!

Great hotel for an overnight stop over. Very close to motorway. Good breakfast - amazing scrambled eggs! Its low cost so do not expect the Ritz - room large and kitchen well equpied. Decor a bit soul- less but great value for money. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

this hotel is a classic example of All Suites style hotels, you have at your disposal more than a room, a kind of mini-flat, with kithcenette; This particular one is very much out of the way, in a cul-de-sac, so it is relatively quiet if difficult to find during the night; it is not immediately near the airport, although not very far, at least 15 minutes drive with a good GPS. It is clean f completely outdated and gives you the bare necessities: a bed, a sofa bed, a bathroom, a kitchenette, at a reasonable price

Old shabby hotel, dirty, needs to be demolished!

I was given a dark humid dirty room with spider webs. The floor had probably never been mopped for months etc. The buttons to call the lift had duck tape on them on some floors (why?) and to keep the corridor doors open, the fire extinguishers were used as door stoppers, not only is that completely wrong but is a major health and safety breach of public places.
Managed to change room after a day which improved ever so slightly the stay but would never ever go there again. Even for the cheaper price it was way too pricey. I have stayed at other hotel from the same chain (the one in La Teste) which is completely different and much better.
Expedia should remove this horrible hotel from its website as this is not what Expedia should promote and they should check their hotels.

Don't ever go to this hotel

Don't ever stay here. We arrived and there was nobody in the lobby (after 10:00 there is nobody in the lobby). We were assigned a room, left the key in another room, and when we went to the room, it had a fetid smell coming out from the toilet. The room itself had a bad smell also. Next day we change the room. The second room was not smelly. Just a bit better. The building was dirty all over the place, the neighborhood was ugly (an industrial zone). Honestly, they should return my money if they were decent.

Nice hotel with small kitchen

I like this hotel quite a bit, it was my second stay there and I really like the system. There's a parking lot where there's always space to park. The kitchen space is fine enough to allow a little cooking, precious when you have food allergies or you're just trying to avoid eating out all the time. The TV was offering a variety of channels which my kid enjoyed. A maid swings by on Fridays (she skipped us on one of our weeks, I guess it happens) and changes the linens and towels.
I'm not fond of the shower curtain. It's sticking to you when you shower in that tiny shower space.
I found that my latest stay featured a lady at the front I found unpleasant. I talked to her twice and didn't like the way she treated us. I am French and speak French quite well if you think it was a language barrier. She just didn't seem to care to be warm.
Overall, happy with it, will probably think about it again as it is so close to where my parents live and the Bordeaux-Mérignac airport.

Great spot. Handy to Bordeaux Airport

We spent two separate nights here. It was a great place for us. 3 adults and 2 children. We arrived late. There is no reception staff after 9pm. You have to contact the apartment staff if you will arrive late so they can talk you through late arrival procedures. This was tricky for us on our return stay. We had no internet or phone access. We emailed the day before whilst we still had Internet access. They prefer you to contact them on your day of arrival. They were extremely accommodating for us. These apartments do not have A/C. We stayed in July. It was toasty. Keep the heavy shutters closed. It is much cooler! Overall, great place, great staff, great value for money.

Beware don't go

Although the staff is wonderful this hotel is dirty. The smokers smoke in the hallway so no room smells nice. There was a clientele that seemed to live there as residents. The bed cover was stained. The matters hard. The room was small and univiting. I would never come here nor suggest this place. I did not feel safe and wanted out as fast as possible. The only advantage to this place is the proximity to airport.

Unfortunately it is not that near the airport or public transport and the taxi fare was extortionate.
On arrival the receptionist could not find my booking despite giving them my name and code, thus necessitating having to give them my bank card number so I hope I haven't been charged twice!
Due to it being Friday evening the desk was closing around 2100 hours and not due to re-open until mid-morning the following day, after I was leaving. No wake up call was available and there were neither shops nor restaurants in the area.

From the moment we entered the room we noticed it was hot. We had been allocated a room on the top floor that got full afternoon sun. Staff were unsympathetic and not particularly helpful. The unit was actually not too bad except it was let down badly by the heat and a very hard bed that your feet hung over the end of!

Worst place ever!

It was so so nasty! We were supposed to use the sofa bed but as soon as we walked towards it we could immediately notice the smell. Yes, it stunk. The tub was clean but the shower curtain was beyond disgusting. The apartment smelled horrible. I will never consider this place again and will not recommend it. It felt dirty. I travel very very often and I know US standards are higher than European standards for hotel ratings but please this is NEVER a 3 star hotel

Easy to get to as just off the main road around Bordeaux. Easy to get into Merignac for restaurants and good shops/supermarket. Didn't have time to go into Bordeaux itself so couldn't say how easy this would be. Good price for somewhere to fit in 2 adults and three children. Decent kitchen and dining area. Could do with an uplift in some respects but good value and useful as a stopover.

Missing one of the essentials is a failure

People might know the chain but I did not. Seem to be a cheap place from people from outside to stay when working in town. The place is clean when you arrive. How it usually is the second day, I can't judge as housekeeping did not happen in either of the rooms I paid for. Brochure says \"Housekeeping only weekdays\". Isn't every day a weekday ? Anyway, it was a Tuesday. The main reason for my rating is the bed, if you can call it a bed. Small, forgot matresses can be that small. In short. To me a hotel must offer a chance to rest in a clean environment., It was clean but the rest was not given. The single rooms are not displayed when you book via hotel.com. Now I know why. This chain (All Suits Appart Hotel) will not see me again.

What was expected from an apart hotel

1st stay in an apart hotel - was what I expected. Rooms were clean with functional kitchen. Bed (matress) was very hard and no air conditioning but despite being 30 deg C, sleeping at night with the windows open was OK. Free wifi was available which is always a nice plus.

Great stopover place for a family on a budget

Stopped here overnight from Spain to UK. We are a family of 5 (3 children) so usually have difficulty to find a room for us all. Hotel was comfortable and was more like a flat (2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen with microwave, fridge, dishwasher & hob also had a sofa bed in the lounge), so if on a budget you can cook a basic meal & make yourself tea etc. Was clean & tidy and comfy beds too. Only bad thing was it smelt a little of tobacco, but other than that it is great for the price especially for a family on a budget. Staff really helpful & had a secure car park. Not far from shops & Mc Donalds so happy kids if you don´t want to cook. Would definitely stay again & book on Expedia for a better price than booking direct.

For guests with a car this is a great hub for visiting area winery's. For those w/o a car there is no restaurant, shopping within walking distance. Service was good and the staff was friendly and the front desk spoke very good english. Room furnishings were sparse. The 2 straight back chairs and a small 1/2 circle table were not adequate. This hotel does however offer free parking, no hassle wi-fi and a flat screen TV w/cable.

Nice but no A/C.

The hotel is five minutes away from the airport and pretty centrally located if you are planning to rent a car. Do not stay at this hotel expecting to find things in walking distance - you need a car. The apartment we had was a one-bedroom with a fold-out sofa bed. My family of four fit comfortably. There is a mini-fridge and a two-burner stove and the apartment is stocked with dishes, utensils and even pans/pots.

The one (major) gripe we have with this hotel is there is no AC. It is July in southern France and there is no Air Conditioning!! We had to open the windows but unfortunately there are no bug-screens on the windows and soon we had a mosquito infestation.

This hotel was just OK. Recommend staying here in the Spring/Autumn - NOT in the summer.

Hotel location is poor. Problems with wifi.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way down the coast towards Spain. We planned on heading into town for the night and having a few drinks. The option was a 50 euro 1 way cab into town or a cab to the train station, which was not far away. Decided the cost for taxi's was too much and drove to train station instead which worked out well. 3 Euro to park car and return to Bordeaux city for 2 ppl. The hotel was nice enough, reception was very friendly and there English was great. They also helped me print off itineraries for us we needed the next day. The wifi was poor, kept on disconnecting and I could not get emails on my iphone or ipad on the network. The speed of the internet was very slow. I would consider staying here again as it had free parking and was alot cheaper than staying in Bordeaux but if you want to spend the night in Bordeaux and party, dont stay here. You will spend just as much money on taxis too and from than a 4 star hotel in the city.

Les chambres sont tres vieilles et pas entretenues, les murs noirs et usés par le temps , mobilier idem , vieux et usés par le temps pareil pour la salle de bain . Je n’etais pas a l’aise dans la chambre .

Studio :moyen, manque porte entre entrée et chambre, manque ustensiles de cuisine (pas de casserole, une seule petite cuillère... Le tout gras et crasseux même le sol, la vmc....
