Rooms are compact (aka cramped) with small bathroom but are ok for one night. Room seems designed for solo occupant and comes with only one towel. Breakfast is typical and not bad but the coffee in machine is terrible - dark, bitter syrup instead of ground beans. The problems are air conditioning and internet - both of which are intermittent. The office controls the a/c and even though we were in our room, the office switched it off at least three times. The phone to reception was not answered but if we went in person to reception the a/c was switched back on without comment. The internet connection is very fragile and needs logging back in every few minutes and needs password every time - it doesn’t remember you. There is a row of hotels in this location near the airport, of which The Originals is the cheapest. Turns out there’s a reason. Don’t think we’ll be back.

La atención en recepción fue excelente, el check-in fue súper sencillo y el chico mexicano, muy agradable, platicamos un poco y me explicó todo lo que tenía que saber sobre el hotel. El cuarto es pequeño y tiene todo lo funcional para pasar un par de noches ahí. El área se ve segura y yo personalmente no escuché ruido. Solo estuve una noche, pero no hubiera tenido problema en quedarme más. El check-out súper rápido y nuevamente el chico de recepción dio un excelente servicio.

15 min flat walk from the terminal building. I arrived after reception had closed but there was a machine with several languages to retrieve my booking and dispense me my key. Clean and perfect for a stop over night.

Only stayed for 1 night when were arrived and another night before we flew out of Bordeaux. Served its purpose, nice little motel type hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean with a comfy bed and a great shower. Did what it said on the tin and would use it again. Great value for money.

Everything really good. Only issue we had was getting in to the car park. The entry gate was closed and only opened with a key pad but were didn't know the number to open it. Fortunately some one else arrived who was able to open it for us.

Lots of construction in the area and unfortunately we arrived on Easter Monday, which we were unaware was a bank holiday in France so the hotel was closed between 1 and 3pm. We hung out in an outdoor seating area til they opened up so glad it wasnt raining. Good dining nearby (Au Bureau). Room was small but well appointed, comfy bed. We actually walked to the airport from here with our luggage as it only took 18 minutes

There was nobody on call at the hotel when i got locked out my room. If it wasn't for the kindness of somebody to lend me some tools I wouldn't of been able to get back in my room till 6.30 am.

Booked a comfort room as we knew this was a budget hotel, however photo of room looked fine. However room was tiny, not a bit like the photo. Bathroom minuscule. Breakfast was poor, even when a fresh tray of croissants were brought out they were cold. Receptionist had to check out guests, man breakfast, and look after a new team member. Being an airport hotel not the best representation France, Only saving grace was that Au Bureau restaurant was within walking distance.

Staff can make all the difference
The original receptionist at check in was rude. The lock on the door was faulty and we had to climb up and down flight of stairs with luggage to sort it out. The room was very good and spacious enough for our two large hiking backpacks and ourselves. The parking was good. The night manager was excellent and very helpful. A really good pub with foodthat was open until midnight a short walk away was a godsend.

Wouldn't stay again
The hotel isn't in a great location for Bordeaux, unless you're just in and out of the airport overnight. It's really just a middle-of-nowhere, highway motel/inn. The room stunk. The air conditioner existed.. but was of no use. The bathroom was too small to move around in.. there were no extra pillows (denied when called and requested). Etc. Etc. Wouldn't recommend.

This hotel is more like a motel. Nothing bad in that. We chose this because it’s very near the airport which was an important consideration since we were arriving late, and won’t be able to pick up our car rental until the next day. Also, we always liked that even if the gate is closed at night, there was always somebody to open up for us and receive us for a late check in; for this visit we arrived past midnight. The room is small, but clean. Also it’s true that sound insulation needs to be improved but it’s ok if you’re gone for most of the day and use it only for sleeping (when everyone else in the building is also sleeping). Breakfast is available for an extra fee—now this is really nice, very convenient. Will book again.

Good Stopover
We used this Hotel because we had an early flight the next morning. I would only recommend for this type of use. The Hotel was clean although the room smelled a bit musty when we arrived. On arrival the receptionist tried to insist that breakfast was included and, needless to say, added 16€ on to our bill. When I pointed this out it was quickly changed. The room itself is very small but I have to say the soundproofing was great until 4am when we were woken by the squeakiest door I have ever heard. Our exit was hampered by the security gate which the overnight receptionist did not know was down ! All in all, reasonable value for an overnight stay.

Very satisfied with our hotel stay as the Hotel was close to the Airport and few minutes away from the bus stop. The staff were friendly as we requested for a early check in due to our flight was early in the morning from LHR; which they allowded us with open arm and the hotel was great for the price. Overall, very satisfied and would come back again.

OK for one night stay
Stayed fro two nights as it was near the airport and on a good route into Bordeaux. Rooms are quite noisy if neighbours are a bit loud (first night) and if people are staying in rooms above (walkway noise). No real air traffic noise, although you can hear planes arriving and taking off but they do not disturb too much (no flights over night). Reception staff were excellent and helpful. The room was basic. There were no tea/coffee making facilities, even though one of the photos shows kettles etc. The bed was king size and comfortable. The shower was good except that the water did run into the toilet area which meant if you needed to sit on it you would get wet clothes! I can't fathom why the screens did not reach to the bottom of the floor instead of about 25cm above it! Breakfast was adequate buffet style (good cold meats, tasteless cheese, cook your own eggs, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, bread etc). All in all, I probably would only stay for one night (either after late flight in; or for early flight out) in the future. A big pro is that it is on a very good bus route, both to the airport and to Bordeaux centre (all for 1E 60c). There is also a very good brasserie nearby (Au Bureau).

We stayed here because we had an early flight out of Bordeaux. It is very sweet. Andrea the desk clerk was charming and very accommodating. He helped with taxi and anything we needed. He is also very friendly and approachable. The room was small but accommodating. Shower is small. Good price if you need a place for night near the airport. The breakfast was plenty with good selections for 7 euros.

I had a good experience here. The staff was extremely helpful and the room was perfect for my needs. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The only downside is the area isn't really close to stores or a ton of restaurants, so if you want something cheap to eat you'd better have a car or be prepared to walk.

Quite a way from Bordeaux itself and, surprisingly, very little information about the city itself particularly with regards to the tram system and the associated park and ride. City centre parking is quite expensive so we would advise people to use the P+R or be prepared to pay a lot of money.

it is what it is. it's an inexpensive and perfectly reasonable place to stay if you have a flight to catch and need a place to stay. there's really no other reason to stay here. that said - the staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and the AC was refreshing

Like a charming little oasis in a concrete desert neat the airport. Rooms cute, not much storage space but then most of their trade will be one-nighters heading to or from the airport. Hard-working helpful staff - and, as its name suggests, good breakfast!
