Didn't actually get to stay. Arrived after check-in had closed so called the number shown on the notice to get the code to open the safe where we were told the key would be. Was told that I would receive an email instructing what I needed to do and to call back after I had agreed to their policy. Got the email only to find they wanted me to pay a large deposit online which, I was assured, would be refunded when I paid the bill at check out. Phoned back and pointed out that I had already paid so would not need to settle the bill on check out. Was told that this was the process and without paying the deposit, they wouldn't release the key. Ended up having to spend the night in the car.

Warning⚠️

We booked hotel due to the beautiful way it was depicited on the internet. Everything looked very glamous & holiday resort like giving the impression it was just one appartment block with a huge pool. However when we arrived it was far from glamous!! It's a large area of very run down appartment blocks with no street lighting. When we arrived to our room we quickly realised that the rooms adjacent to us were actually being permanently occupied and obviously being used as a hostel. This created alot of noise as people were drinking alcohol. We didnt feel safe here. Definitely wouldnt recommend it to young girls travelling. There was no room service and when we asked for an extra pillow & towels this was not available. Won't be back.

The quartier des chartrons is a great location within Bordeaux city center. Easy access to many areas and tourist places. Loads of lovely restaurants at the door step. Accommodation basic but clean.

We reserved 2 rooms at 6pm. At 8pm I called the hotel to tell them that I'm going to reach when the reception is already closed so they can give me check in instructions. They told me that they don't have any reservation in our name. We contacted hotels.com virtual agent that \"tried her best\" but didn't really help us at all. When we reached to the hotel at 10pm we called the hotel number and they solved the issue that took over an hour. So at 11:30pm we finally got our 2 rooms in wich there was intense tobacco smell and the kitchen sink blocked. They fortunately gave us new room but the cleanliness was still 3/5.
I will like to still thank the hotel for giving us the rooms even they didint get the reservation but overall a big disappointment.
Hotels.com has to improve their speed of reservations reaching the hotel and the hotel itself has to improve the cleanliness.

It was not the cleanest place. The check out could have been later than 10.00 am. Ipaid 5 Euro extra for checkinh out at 12 midday. The guy at reception was friendly.

The hotel appears to be a combination of longer stay accommodations and short stay accommodations. The accommodations were clean but in need of renovations and repair. The reason for selection was due to having two rooms and its location near the airport (approx. 15 minutes away) for our early morning flight. Our stay comprised of two nights. Housekeeping services is not provided daily. In the evening of our second night, we noticed that there was no spare toilet paper and the roll was almost done. We did call (using our cell phone as phone in room did not work) the contact number provided at check-in as reception is only open for a few hours morning and afternoon. We were disappointed to find out that there was nobody to assist us on site.

Hotel was HORROBLE!!!!!!!! Don't ever go there!!!!
Staff unfriendly !!!!!! No elevators, you should use the stairs to bring your luggage to the room. The are ANTS in the room. Very old towels that doesn't look clean. No WI-FI, small TV with limited channels.

We arrived on a Sunday after a long drive to find no reception! After calling a number provided several times I finally got to speak to a guy that only spoke french. After a 40 min wait I spent on the phone shouting at hotels.com a young guy pulled up to assist me. He then walked me all round this tired complex with no clue it turned out as to where our room was. Roughly an hour later we finally got to our room. We only stayed the 2 nights and it served our perpose ok on our trip Madrid. It seems the cheaper the room the less likely they are to CLEAN THE FLOOR!! A pet hate of mine as I dislike walking indoors with shoes on feet. Overall it's ok for the money. Bit tired as you might imagine and the whole place looked like it needed a good watering with weeds for grass. Decent gym although steam room was out of order.

We booked this because of the proximity to the airport as we had a morning flight. However on a Monday night we couldn't find any restaurants open ( even after driving all round the area) apart from MacDonalds! Both the buildings and the grounds are in need of upgrading and are very basic. Disappointing.

Good Quality transit Hotel

We booked one night here just outside Bordeaux in our travels at the start of a few days in the Dordogne. With 2 young children it was useful to have self-catering facilities, which were quite adequate. Although I thought we had booked just a studio it was a pleasant surprise to find a separate spacious double bedroom. Everything was clean and tidy, and appeared quite new - although very functional and formulaic (like a new Premier Inn or Travelodge but a bit more up-market). We were on the second (top) floor of one of the 6 or 7 separate buildings (NB no lifts). The Pool was very welcome after a long hot drive down from the Vendee. Be aware though, that there is no 'shallow' end and no toddlers pool. Fortunately we had armbands, etc. We arrived on a Sunday, so no staff around - a code was supplied to access a safe at reception to collect room-passes but we had no problems with this. Handy for Bordeaux airport - also appeared to be a modern tram service nearby, presumably connecting Airport to the city.

Park & Suites Bordeaux is just off the highway between Bordeaux and Arcachon, France, which was conveniently situated for our touring of both sites. Friendly staff. Laundry facilities for mid-trip renewal. We visited in January so too cold to enjoy grounds, but spring/summer appears would be great for pool time.

The hotel i located in industrial area however there is a supermarkets and a bakery close by. The out door pool it is great however there is no separate pool for babies. This hotel is ok for short stays but you must have a car to move arround other wise you might get bored.

Convenient location for the airport.

We were pleased with our family suite - with 3 children it is often tricky to find a room for 5.

Accommodation itself Ok for one night before taking a flight. Ants in room and cigarette butts in the front garden area though. Don't buy breakfast onsite - we found it expensive and the table wasn't fully cleared or reset ahead of our use. There are plenty of supermarkets and boulangeries nearby for a more reasonably priced croissant.

Customer service helpful however and overall a convenient, functional stopover.

A very nice and reasonably priced hotel. My only complaint is that the description does not make it clear that there are no kitchen facilities in the studio apartments. The only other small problems that I had during the stay were that the gym/sauna was broken, and the only way to get wifi reception was to sit in the reception, otherwise the hotel is great.

The biggest plus-point about an apart-hotel in France is the ability to self-cater as the prices in France are truly staggering, and this hotel has a Lidl and another supermarket within walking distance.

Great for Families!! Nice place.

We stayed here just one night before a flight out. The hotel is definitely very close to the airport...and easily found. Since it was only one night, we didn't get to utlize too many ammenities. The pool looked nice and was centrally located. This is definitely a place for families or couples who want to have the option of cooking and doing their own meals. Nice places.

Our room was nice and clean. I knew it was a suite with one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room area. It did not say that the one bedroom was upstairs from the living room. We travelled as a family with 3 girls ages almost 2,5, and 8. My husband was concerned about the kids getting up at night, and falling down the stairs to find us, so we had them sleep downstairs - not great if if was for more than one night..as one might want to be up later. We asked for a baby cot and it was there in the room when we arrived..nice.

Since we arrived around 8 pm, the reception was closed, we luckily had called ahead and was given codes to get in....
again if we hadn't called not sure what would have happenned.

We were also only given 2 towels in the room - they knew there were 5 staying through the reservation - but no one was available to call to get more towels. One light bulb in the dining area was also out...not a big deal as we were there just overnight, but again no one to call.

Overall, a nice place..liked having the flexbilibity to cook and space for kids...but definitely need to check in earlier!! We definitely used the refridgerator.
Not sure exactly when the reception closes..i'm guessing 6 or 7 pm as that's the work day in France. Also had internet wireless service with code but reception was in and out...even though advertised as possible.

Overall comfortable, spacious but needed a few things taken care of...Again, I would recommend perhaps for a several night stay with a family..nice and spacious but just make sure you check in early enough.

Don't be fooled by the photos

We stayed during the August school holidays. The pool was tiny, there were 3 gym machines - all out of order - the sauna was out of order. The wifi in reception didn't work. The restaurants in the 'town' of St Jean d'Illac all closed down. One day at 10 am we were aked to leave the pool so the guy could hoover the bottom manually for 2 hours. Its in the middle of an industrial estate for manufacturing swimming pools. We left after 3 nights.

new category of worst run hotels

on arrival I was locked out of the hotel with no way to contact anyone. I came across a # that said there was someone available 24/7 but left a message which no on returned. Had to go to another hotel for the night. They allowed me to move my date to the 25th and waited in line for a room key for 1 hour. Finally got to room only to find no towels. Went to reception they informed me they would have more towels on Monday. This was Saturday afternoon. I was leaving on Sunday morning. It is without a doubt the worst run hotel I have ever come across and I have been a flight attendant for 37years. I can even remember anything coming close to this. couldn't sleep on sheets as they seemed to have already been used. Took pictures of the filth on the stairwell and bathroom.

get a code!!!

You cannot drive into the complex after 7 p.m unless you have a swipe card.There is pedestrian access to the entrance BUT it was only because a very kind guest happened to be passing the front door that we understood we had to get a code to open a safe in the lobby to access our pass swipe card and the number of the suite!He went to his apartment and brought his card to help us.There is no one on site officially to helpin the evening. .In addition, after 8.30 p.m. there is nowhere nearby to eat except a caravan on a nearby car park. The suites are situated reasonably near the airport..it took us 30 minutes to get their from the airport. The suite itself was very clean and well equipped ...can't comment on day time activities we left early in search of breakfast!!Should have arrived with supplies!!

L'établissement est facile a repérer puisque visible depuis la route principale. Parking fermé la nuit. Personnel aimable a l'accueil et délivrant les informations nécessaires
Le repérage dans le dédale des constructions n'est pas très simple, malgré l plan remis à la réception. L'intérieur est simple, vaste fonctionnel un peu \"daté\" le prix compétitif comme le petit déjeuner. Idéal pour une étape courte de voyage

Location pour une nuit. La carte clef ne fonctionnait pas a notre arrivée. Le service d'urgence nous a aidé a trouver notre chambre. Le numero noté n'etait pas le bon. Petit désagrément le.matin jusqu'à 10h. Impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres. Car une douzaine de personne bien installées en terrasses fument cigarettes sur cigarettes au dessous de nos fenêtres.
Sinon bonne literie et appartement propre avec tout le nécessaire.

Réservé 2 Nuits, parti au bout de la première nuit. Honteux, je n'ai jamais vu ça avant, les photos n'ont rien à voir avec la réalité.

Envahi de crasse et de petites mouches.

Lave-vaisselle même pas raccordé à l'eau, frigo dans un état pitoyable qui ne fait plus de froid. Vaisselle crade, sol collant, draps plein de tâches, obligé de partir franchement.

Logement très agréable et très pratique. Pour nous Logement en duplex et une vraie impression de petite maison. Les ustensiles pour cuisiner sont en très petite quantité, ne pas hésiter à demander à l accueil. Par contre aucun tri sélectif , quel dommage !!!
Il faudrait aussi qu ils s occupent de l état général des volets qui sont tous à repei dre et à entretenir. Dès qu un client ouvre ou ferme ses volets tous les vousins sont réveillés. Nous y avons passé 11 nuits et nous reviendrons certainement.

Nous ne sommes restés qu'une seule journée mais nous avons trouvé le lieu agréable et bien équipé avec une bonne literie. Les logements sont sympas, la piscine aussi et tout ça pour un prix raisonnable. Nous avions peur au bruit avec l'aéroport à côté, mais nous n'avons entendu aucun bruit la nuit. A recommander.

Un hôtel aux standards décevants malgré un cadre correct

Si l’établissement semble \"pénalement irréprochable\", l’expérience client laisse franchement à désirer.

Literie : Matelas très dur, inconfortable, avec des structures métalliques ressenties sous le dos. Nuit très difficile.

Hygiène : WC manifestement non nettoyés, avec la présence visible de traces d’excréments. Inacceptable.

Petit-déjeuner : Très basique, sans saveur ni variété. Était censé être offert, mais on m’a demandé un paiement. Le réceptionniste n’était pas informé et a réagi avec froideur et mépris.

Service : Aucun au revoir, aucune considération. Sensation désagréable d’être un simple numéro.

Un lieu qui aurait du potentiel s’il prenait ses clients au sérieux. Dommage.

Personnel et accueil très bien, sympa. super.
Par contre, bien que le cadre soit super sympa, effet petit village de vacances, l'état vétuste et surtout le manque de propreté est inacceptable. Le confort n'est pas au rendez-vous. Canapé lit qui casse le dos, et l'ensemble matelas et sommier type planche de bois m'a achevé le dos. La climatisation qui fait du vent mais sans le froid.
PAr contre le personnelle est très a l'écoute et va faire remonter les informations. espérons que ca s'améliore. il m'ont expliqué qu'une parti était entièrement rénové et une autre pas encore. En réservant par hotel.com, je n'ai pas eu la chance de tombé sur la parti rénové.
Pour le moment ce n'est pas un hotel que je recommande

Expérience plutôt positive malgré quelques loupés

Réaction tardive de l'établissement
Appartement de dépannage qui portait bien son nom... Quelques loupés au niveau de la propreté et pas mal de dysfonctionnements (TV de l'étage avec une très mauvaise retransmission, draps et serviettes en nombre insuffisant,...) et un tout petit problème de propreté qui par contre est quand même moins excusable.
Sinon la communication a été fluide et appréciée.
L'astreinte / dépannage à distance mise en place au sein de cet établissement a permis de me proposer une solution intermédiaire (plan B) rapide et tout à fait convenable, le temps du retour de la Responsable, qui a ensuite pu résoudre ma problématique de façon bien efficace malgré les freins que m'opposaient le Réceptionniste.

La superficie de l'appartement était parfaite, la configuration allait très bien également.

Je recommande ce lieu à ceux qui recherchent confort et praticité, en s'assurant juste que les petits \"loupés\" décrits soient rattrapés.

Nous sommes partis en couple. Nous avons eu 1 maison avec la chambre, la salle de bain, et toilettes à l'étage. Au rez-de-chaussée, il y a la cuisine et le salon.
Tout est pensé, double prise..pas obligé de débrancher la lumière pour recharger le téléphone.

L’agencement des appartements est genial. Chaque appartement est équipé d’un jardin et d’une table de pique nique. C’est très agréable en vacance pour partager un repas à l’exterieur.

The hotel was advertised very differently. The photos do not correspond to reality at all. The apartment was worn and very neglected. It smelled bad and everything seemed so unhygienic that you hardly wanted to use it. this shouldn't be the case for this price. We think we either had bed bugs or fleas in our bed - at least that's what the bites on our bodies suggest. We are beyond measure disappointed. We would like the money back. Absolutely not recommended!

La propreté, en parlant de certains endroits, l'un d'eux est le lit, beaucoup mais beaucoup de poussière, les personnes allergiques à la poussière n'y pensent pas, et au niveau de la sortie voiture par le parking il y a une poubelle , c'est horrible.

Déçu par la chambre

La propreté générale est à revoir.
Il y a une fuite dans la conduite des toilettes (obligé de couper l'arrivée d'eau la nuit pour ne pas entendre le bruit)
La chaudière est bruyante.
Il y a une cuisine dans l'appart mais même pas une bouilloire et de quoi se faire un thé.
Les deux seuls point positifs : un écran TV plus grand que la plupart des hôtels / des places de parking gratuites et accessibles directement devant l'appartement (je doute cependant que le nombre de place soit suffisant en période de grande affluence)
Pas le choix que d'aller dans cet appart'city puisque saint jean d'illac ne propose aucun autre hôtel mais je déconseille fortement.

Je venais souvent puis j'ai arrêté pour la propreté.
Un travail de fond a été réalisé sur les moquettes et tissus des canapés (je suis allergique) qui rendent l'endroit très confortable depuis le nettoyage. Bravo pour le travail accompli.
Les sdb sont propres et mériteront un rafraichissement mais je vais reprendre l'habitude de venir car la literie est très bonne.

2e séjour dans cette résidence, ma préférée de la métropole bordelaise pour un séjour en famille. Accueil, taille et aménagement du logement toujours très bien. Très grand lit douillet. Piscine parfaite. Petit bemol par rapport à la premiere fois sur l'absence de balai brosse wc ou manque de rafraichissement des joints dans la salle de bain. Attention également à adapter la dimension des draps à ces immenses lits sinon c'est une bataille chaque nuit...
Merci au personnel toujours disponible.
Belle idée les food trucks le soir.

El personal nos recibió amablemente pero llegamos justo cuando cerraban recepción y cuando fuimos a decirles lo guarro que estaba el WC ya no estaban.
En recepción hay una máquina vending con dulces y snacks y una máquina de café.
Es un adosado con jardin muy poco cuidado por lo que no lo usamos, no daban ganas. La cocina es básica, basica. Llevar para lavar/fregar, servilletas y café. Los electródomesticos están muy bien pero los utensilios dan la sensación de sucios/no cuidados. Las escaleras estaban guarras, la habitación doble fantástica, el aseo con WC asqueroso (la tapa estaba suelta y al caerse estaba asquerosamente sucia llena de m*****); el baño estaba bien pero el mueble estaba hecho polvo y la ventana rota.
En general aunque el concepto es bueno y se ven detalles que quieren mejorar, la sensación es de suciedad y poco cuidado.
No lo recomiendo salvo necesidad y por solo una noche.

Very nice and clean place. Very spacious rooms, where everything worked. Could have stayed longer than 2 nights. Nice pool area.
Need a car to access (unless take a taxi), but we had our friends to take us around.
Could imaging that this is a good place for longer stay, and exploring the nearby places/beaches (but need a car).

Notre séjour s'était bien passé, les enfants en ont bien profité de la piscine et se sont vraiment amusé..., par contre niveau propreté c'est pas top du tout beaucoup de poussière, dommage qu'il n'y est pas de balai dans les appartements, poubelle cassé, télécommande cassé.

J’ai l’habitude d’y allez et c’était un peu près correct mais cette fois ci c’était la catastrophe. Appartement très sale à l’arrivée, manquait beaucoup de chose dans la cuisine, chauffage qui ne fonctionne pas, plus d’eau chaude au bout de deux douches alors que c’est un appartement de 4 personnes.
C’est la dernière fois que je réserve dans cet établissement

Malgré la gentillesse de l'accueil, il faut constater que les chambres et salles de bains ont besoin d'un très sérieux coup de rafraîchissement.
Un meilleur rapport qualité prix peut être trouvé aisément.
