The red lights when we arrived at night didn't give the best impression to start with.
The room was clean and welcoming, but the bathroom was very small and my main complain point:
All plastic and no curtain, it felt like the bathroom of an autocaravan and looked worn out, with marks that looked dirty but could be of rust or paint falling off. The lack of curtain ment that the toilet and floor would get wet whenever we showered. Not ideal. There were no pictures of the bathroom before reserving, so it was a bit of a shocker.
Knowing this beforehand I might have considered paying a bit more to get a better bathroom. Perfect location for a walk around Le Lac

We were given the wheelchair access room. Bathroom was clean and large it was a modular bathroom arrangement like you were expecting in a cruise ship. It made efficient use of space. Comfortable and quiet. No complaints. 20 minutes drive by car to historic downtown Bordeaux even through rush hour.

If your looking to stay in a hotel which has a toilet/shower room which can only be described as disgusting then this is the hotel for you. I appreciate this is a budget hotel and things will be a lower standard than a regular statement but this was a whole new level of awful.
Built in some sort of plastic container, you get a toilet, shower and sink all in one which provides you with a awful scenario when it comes to using the shower after a toilet visit.
I've tried to make this review some what comical but I beg you to please avoid this horrible hotel.
Some of the other negatives -
- Reception staff go home after 9pm so you'll need a pin code to access the hotel after this time.
- The wifi drops out every 10/15 minutes so be sure to have the patience of a god if you plan on watching a film.
- If you happen to not be lucky enough to be in a room which faces the lake then you'll enjoy the view of the hotels car park/bin area.
I always try to end on a positive and I have one (apart from a hassle free check out) and that's the comfy bed which are in the rooms.
PS if your a light sleeper turn off the air con it's rather loud.

Close to football stadium
Near motorway which means only 15 minutes from taxi from airport. Back of hotel is superb with wonderful views of the lake. Very quiet. Breakfast very nice and more than adequate, better than we expected at a small budget hotel. For evening meals there is an absolutely fabulous restaurant next door. Staff have limited English but still understand your needs.

My husband and I stayed here on our way down to Spain. It was easy to find, had plenty of free parking, the staff were polite and efficient, the room was clean and comfortable, buffet breakfast was very good and only 5€ per person. Overall excellent and good value. We will stay here on our way back definitely!

Stayed at this budget hotel for two nights en route to the UK from the midi Pyrenees. Clean small room with small modular moulded bathroom/wet room. Air conditioned, which was great because it was 36° degrees in the daytime and still extremely warm at night. Buffet style breakfast very good value. Pleasant helpful staff. A good restaurant almost next door with a beautiful view of a smaller lake whilst eating outdoors.

You Get What You Pay For - or Less
The room was very small. The toilet and shower was a plastic pod in the corner of the room that you had to step up into, which is difficult to negotiate at night. There was no floor space to open a suitcase, so you used the bed and had to close it up to sleep. This was meant to be a no-smoking room but had multiple cigarette burns on the plastic sink of the bathroom pod. The worst of all was the WIFI because this amounted to false advertising. Upon arrival around 4:00 pm, we were unable to get online because the system was jammed with other users. Access did not become available until around 11:00 pm. We got online around 9pm. with bad service which improved slowly when we assume other people signed off. The blond woman at the desk was totally uninterested in helping and uncooperative, saying it was my computer, however the computer was not an issue at the local library, tourist bureau, train staton or any coffee shop in the area. Stay here at your risk of being upset, the room rate is low and you get less than what you pay for.

Mauvaise insonorisation. On entend les voisins toute la nuit. Le chauffage siffle toute la nuit à intervalles réguliers. La cabine de douche-toilette est étroite. Après la douche, les toilettes sont toutes mouillées. La machine à café dans le couloir ne fonctionne pas bien. Elle prend les pièces et ne délivre pas de café et ce n'est pas l'hôtel qui la gère !!! Bien de surprises.

Séjour de 4 jours dans cet hôtel. Hôtel avec un cadre plaisant mais des cloisons beaucoup trop fines qui nous permette d’entendre les voisins lors de leur ébat. Présence de toile d’araignée dans la chambre. Pression de l’eau vraiment minime avec très peu d’eau chaude.Dommage que le service de ménage ne soit pas fais durant le séjour malgré le fait que nous ayons été prévenue.

J'ai été contactée par téléphone la veille pour préciser mon heure d'arrivée (soit environ vers 15h) et l'hôtesse m'a indiqué que ça correspondait parfaitement à l'heure d'ouverture de l'accueil. J'ai demandé si ma chambre se trouverait côté lac, et elle m'a répondu oui tout à fait. Je suis arrivée vers 15h30, l'accueil était fermé, aucune possibilité d'entrée avec le code de réservation et pas de réponse au téléphone. Je suis revenue vers 18h30, et la chambre qui m'était attribuée était côté parking. Ce n'est pas très grave, mais ça montre un manque de sérieux de la part de la réception.

80 € pour une chambre familiale de la qualité d'un formule 1 franchement c'est exagéré. A ce prix le parking n'est même pas fermé et on a le droit à une cabine douche+toilette type formule 1 ou il est impossible de ne pas tout mouiller en prenant sa douche. L'isolation phonique n'est pas terrible non plus au point qu'on a cru que notre voisin du dessus aller finir par nous tomber dessus :-(
