Really awful service from the reception staff. We called in the morning to ask about the parking we had pre-booked and were asked to park outside with lights flashing and come to reception and they'd give us the code to the parking garage.

We did exactly that only to find that they close for two hours for lunch and *even though they spoke to us face-to-face* refused to give us the code that is the same for everyone! \"I am on lunch break, come back in 90mins\". Terrible.

Aside from that, the hotel was fine. The area around is not the best but we had no issues.

Property was okay. Receptionist was rude and unprofessional. I waited over an hour to check in as the receptionist claimed that I did not have a confirmation code. She asked me to call Expedia when she should’ve called herself. She called and said they were closed and then just stopped helping me and said she could not do anything else even though I showed her my email confirmation several times. I asked her to call her manager and said there was no one else to call. She was VERY rude and condescending. I had to pay international minutes on my overseas line to get ahold of Expedia - over 12 minutes. The receptionist said I could pay again and ask Expedia to refund me. There was no way I was going to Reply when I clearly had paid already. I called Expedia and they called her three times to confirm reservation. I waited over an hour just to check in. It was the rudest experience Iʻve ever encountered. The receptionist - her name started with an O - did not even apologise or offer any courtesy for the inconvenience and rudeness. Instead she was passive-aggressive and put me in a room in which the AC was making loud noises the whole night I was there. When I came into the room the sauna heater in the bathroom was on and the room was hot. Didnt even bother to deal with the rude receptionist who wouldnt even bother to call her manager. One of the worst experiences ever. Nothing done to rectify the unprofessionalism and inconvenience.

We have started here twice now and we have not had any problems. I’m sure we will stay again next year.
My only suggestion would be to provide some washing up stuff like a sponge, washing up liquid and a tablet or two for the dishwasher.

OK place for the price

Not a bad place for the price. Tiny but efficient room, not so great internet. The property is essentially in the middle of a construction zone with nothing around for walking tours. The Halles de Balacan nearby is an interesting eating spot. Set up like a food market, it allows visitors to purchase different things from different stalls and sit wherever they like.

Super clean and close to the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux... Highly recommend spending time at the Halles for drinks and food... We even had a HUGE terrace all to ourselves. It could have easily accommodated 100 people...

Worth the money

In hotel apartments there should be a general washing up pack, this they could do in the future. The room was nice and the bed was a sofa bed, which I’m surprise was very firm, which I like.
Don’t be misled by the name... there is no golf course! Hahahahaha
The area is being done up so I think in a years time it will all look great. It’s about 3 mins walk from the tram line

Great value for the up and coming neighborhood of Bacalan. The area is quiet and safe. The hotel is brand new, clean, and the staff are helpful. You'll be situated north of the city center but right next to brand new developments: the trendy food market les Halles de Bacalan and the la Cite du Vin (City of Wine) museum. It is a 5 minute walk to the light rail line that takes you along the riverfront to any downtown destination in about 10 minutes. The hotel rooms have a kitchenette, there is a laundry room on the main floor (bring your own soap), and secure onsite parking garage for extra 9 euros.

When we arrived after a long day drive, the reception desk was closed. We called their phone number, and nobody was answering. There were several people with small children outside the building waiting and not knowing what to do. We had to leave and get ourselves a hotel.

Nightmare to drive in town

Driving in Bordeaux city is a nightmare. It is a free for all for motorcyclists as none are respecting the speed limits as they are no police to enforce the laws. Be careful as I do not suggest to drive in this town.

Friendly helpful reception staff who were quite happy to speak English after I attempted to stutter in my limited French. Lovely spacious studio apartment, modern facilities, nice and clean. The only downsides were that perhaps someone before me smoked in the room, or perhaps it came through the ventilation? Not so pleasant. And the other (totally first world problem) was no individual temperature control in the room - which was pleasant enough in the day, but with only a heavy duvet (no sheet!) on the bed meant I roasted at night and slept terribly!

In a quite locality and worth giving a try !

Was there for 4 days and the accommodation and reception staff were great ! It's 3 minute walk to the wine museum and 6 minute walk to a tram station or the Boat Clubs. Tram will take you to the city centre in like 10 minutes.

Hotel in New Bordeaux

Situated in an area where there is a lot of construction happening...tearing down the very old, and making new. It was close to everything we wanted to see. Price of the room was ok, but did not include breakfast, which they wanted an additional 12 euro per person for. Rather steep. We headed to the coffee shop on the corner (suggested by hotel staff) 😉

brand new and near La cité du vin

Within walking distance to the La cité du vin, and the hotel itself is brand new. Surroundings are also brand new apartments waiting to be populated, and some constructions nearby, so it does feel a little lonely at night. Also the free wifi is unusably slow, but I didn't have the chance to try out the premium plan. Parking is limited but street parking can be found for now, but unsure if it will stay that way in a few years time when there are residents around the area. At least the room was quiet, had a kitchenette together with microwave, fridge and cookware for some late night snacks. Considering the prices near La Bourse are at least twice the price, this is an excellent value.

Beds were exceptionally comfortable. This is a new hotel so everything is clean and new, but the room is a bit stark and cavernous with a huge entryway and bathroom, but nowhere to put your luggage except on the floor. However, this was a minor inconvenience. Overall, we really liked the location which was about 2 blocks from the Cite de Vin and the Metro into the old town. Hotels.com does not note that you need to reserve a parking spot in advance, so we were disappointed to discover that there was no parking for us. We ended up parking for free on the street, which ended up working out fine for us in the end.

Great hotel in an area currently being redeveloped

Stayed just one night on our way further south. 2 adults and 2 children in our party. Room was new (hotel had been open 4 months)and very clean. Had a great bathroom, and small kitchenette - well equipped, master bedroom and lounge with sofa bed. Good space overall. Limited undercover secure parking. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Short walk to a variety of good eating places, particularly along the side of the river. Only issue is that the whole of this part of Bordeaux is under development and you are quite literally in the centre of one enormous building site. Once the work has finished I think this will be a gem of a hotel in a great location, but at the moment be prepared for dust, unmade roads and no proper pavements!

cool slick modern studio suites

I selected this hotel due to its proximity to the world war II German Uboat submarine bunkers. It was close to the tram which was a straight shot into the center of town. However, if you want to be right in the heart of the city, this is little far. The room was super slick with a small modern galley kitchen (which we didn't use.) The place was like a modern new studio apartment which was very cool. Marina at the front desk was the most helpful of anyone on our entire trip. She created an itinerary for us and printed it out. Be sure to get the cross street for the navigator or you might search for 40 minutes!

Lovely hotel with easy city centre access

The room had a dishwasher in it and the hotel has washing machines which you can access - so make sure to take dishwasher tablets and washing powder/tablets with you.

Hotel is just outside the city centre but everything is easily accessed via the trams, we bought the 7 day Tavel pass from the ticket machine which was around €12 each so a bargain for a week's travel.

The hotel is in an area with a lot of building work going on, which was a bit off putting at first. However, none of this impacted on our stay. This is obviously a regeneration area with lots of lovely new buildings going up - and we didn't hear any of the building work from our room.

Bordeaux is expensive overall, we bought food for breakfasts and lunches so we only ate out for dinners.

Dès l'entrée, des moustiques écrasés laissant du sang sur les murs et au plafond nous ont accueillis. Les murs et les plinthes ont des éclaboussures. Le sol était collant et crasseux, comme s'il n'avait pas été nettoyé avant notre arrivée. j'ai dû interdir à mes enfants de marcher en chaussettes. La chasse dysfonctionne. Le pire, des morceaux de plâtre tombent du plafond juste au dessu de l'endroit où on mange car il y a une infiltration, ce qui engendre un manque de sécurité ou d'hygiène. Un point positif tout de même pour la litterie de bonne qualité, et pour la douche propre et spacieuse.

Nettoyage pas fait en chambres, car d’après le réceptionniste c’est un oublie mais bon que pouvons nous faire.
Le parking est full donc obliger dans le parking à côté mais pour sortir on doit repayer comparé à votre parking où l’ont peux entré et sortir comme on veux.
Petit déjeuner copieux pas de quoi être joyeux avec des fruits un peu fatiguer d’ailleurs.
Mais dans l’ensemble hôtel bien placé à proximité des transports et chambre fonctionnelle et assez grande je doit dire mais peu aussi mieux faire.

Apartahotel situado a 8 minutos en tranvía, linea B, del centro de la ciudad. El apartamento dispone de una cocina con todos los utensilios necesarios pero sin campana extractora. El sofá cama tal y como comentan los otros usuarios, no es muy comodo y ruidoso. El lugar en general esta bien para disfrutar unos dias de la ciudad. Dispone de garaje privado, unas 20 parcelas, que hay que reservar por 10€/día. Existen supermercados,Lidl y Carrefour, en los alrededores además del mercado Bacalan.
