Conveniently located in Chartrons, not in the main downtown area but only about a 10min walk away with still with plenty to do in the area. Plenty of good food around as well. Rooftop is a great vibe, did not have the food so cannot comment. Gym just had a bike, a treadmill, and some free weights but serviceable. Room was clean and more than adequate.

This hotel was simply perfect for us.
It was convenient to the older part of the city. There are little restaurants nearby, as well as a small grocery store.
The people who worked there were efficient, kind, knowledgeable, incredibly helpful, and pleasant. They actually saved our trip, when the train people went on strike suddenly on the day we were supposed to leave.
We were so grateful for their help and knowledge.

Staff were excellent, Alex was especially helpful during the check in process.

The room was spacious, good size, comfortable bed, good size shower, plenty of hot water and good water pressure.

Bordeaux is quaint, very much rural France. Small cafes, bakeries and coffee shops. City center is small in comparison to the most popular French cities, I enjoy that.

The hotel is close to public transportation.

Picture perfect but in reality the bathroom sink was clogged very disgusting, the shower water never got hot in the morning and the room phone didn't work. We contacted the front desk, they said they were going to send a technician and that never happened. Very disappointing and they should definitely issue a full refund.

It was a bit of a wait to check in room.not ready til about 4..but that was a minimal hiccup. The property and staff were outstanding. Lots of nearby places to eat, shop. Such a quiet area..hit the spot after 5 days in Paris!

With sealed windows and mediocre air-con, our pink coloured, smallish room felt uncomfortably claustrophobic.
The roof top restaurant had an interesting view, but the food very pretty average and on Sat. gave us very casual service.
However, the location is excellent for the Chartrons district.

Hotel was in a great location; room was very spacious and comfortable. Only things causing four stars are the a/c was underpowered leaving the room on the warmer side, the lighting was very low in the room, and the shower needed updating such that it leaked.

Finding it was a bit of a hassle. Parking was nearby but again we had to initially park illegally until someone explained where to park. As I go through life I’ve determined it’s almost always about ease of parking. Otherwise staff was friendly, room was fine but “River view” was a bit oversold. Not sure I stay here again as there are many other comparable options

This hotel was excellent. The rooms were spacious and very clean. All the facilities you could need. The reception staff were very helpful especially Stan who recommended bars and restaurants to eat. The parking was easily located however was pricey.

This was a lovely hotel. It is a bit older but the amenities were great! The king bed was very comfortable. The shower had great pressure and lots of hot water. The desk reception staff were very friendly and informative. We were very happy with our stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and were so impressed. The staff were welcoming and kind, the bed was enormous and very comfortable and our room was lovely. The air con was fantastic especially during the heat wave and the staff were so caring and ensured everyone was drinking enough water to stay hydrated. Will definitely return!

A very nice stay at Hotel Indigo Bordeaux

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo Bordeaux Centre. It is located in a quieter location, next to the river with several wonderful dining areas around the corners. The older city section is 15 minutes walking distance so it makes for a very convenient location. The Hotel is a very comfortable modern hotel with lovely vistas of older sections of Bordeaux. The rooftop bar and restaurant is excellent for event cocktails, breakfast and dinners. The staff was always helpful and professional.

Property is in an excellent location amidst the Chartrons district and has a really nice rooftop bar/restaurant area.

The rooms are good in size but don't have great ventilation and you can't open the windows, making it a bit stuffy.

Stay was good but had to have room changed when we checked in due to aircon not working and another issue. But we had our room changed without any trouble. Housekeeping were not at the standard I would expect but other than that a good stay, comfy bed and excellent location. Customer service on front desk and in restaurant and bar also excellent.

Nice hotel. Great location & excellent if you are driving as great car park right next door. Rooms comfy & goid size. However daily cleaning/maid service not good: when we arrived, hand wash totally empty so had to go to reception to ask for it to be replenished. Complimentary btls if water left after each service but mayy it s never bothered to put them in fridge in room so not cooled. Our 2 water glasses were never changed or even washed after either of 2 services (we stayed 3nights) & I left lipstick mark on mine as soon as we entered room after checkin & had a drink. Courtesy tray, which we had used the 2 hot chocs, 2 teabags & 2 milks & 2 espresso pods, not replenished after the following days service so we had nothing in it except some espresso pods but no milk etc. on last morning, mid shower, realised shower gel was completely empty so had to use the shampoo instead!!! Breakfast was pretty good but chaotic…..cutlery & crockery was as rare as hens teeth….. real available not no bowls anyway….ended up using tiny bowls from another section of breakfast which were child sized. No teaspoons provided for coffee & teas. Expected to use same plate you had your cooked breakfast on for croissants etc as no extra plates by bread/pastry area. Same with knives…..had to use knife from eating cooked breakfast to use for butter & jam or vice verses. Staff nice. Very helpful

We had a wonderful stay and especially liked the location. It was very near the river and we were able to walk along the path way to Cite du Vin. The hotel had a fabulous roof top restaurant where we had our breakfast every morning. The staff at breakfast were friendly, efficient and very accomodating.
Less than a five minute walk there was a terrific little French restaurant called Chez DuPont on a very interesting street that made you feel you were in the heart of France.

Location was perfect - <5 mins from two tram stops which took you all over the city. There were also some fantastic restaurants nearby.

Room was beautiful - resembled the photos on the site. We had a superior room which was perfect for 2 adults and a 12-year old. They got their own sleeping space rather than the usual sofa bed, they were very happy about that! Toilet was separate to bathroom and was a bit on the small side, so if your mobility is limited, that might be an issue. Toileteries were Nuxe, and were divine!

Reception staff were great, particularly at check in - super helpful, spoke excellent english, and gave us lots of recommendations.

Housekeeping needed some prompting to replenish toileteries but they were very fast and thorough.

Rooftop bar was a bit of a disappointment, we encountered fairly slow service each time we went (hence the 3 stars for staff).

Would happily go back!

Booked for one night so we could see Bordeaux whilst on a trip down to Spain. We went with Indigo IHG as this is a very good chain of hotels in the UK. I wouldn't say it's of the same standard as an Indigo in the UK but it was a nice quiet clean hotel. One of the comfiest beds I think I've ever slept in. Didn't have breakfast as lots of local options. Parking was 20 euros for 24 hours right next to the hotel under cover. And great locality to the centre of Bordeaux to be able to see all the historical monuments. Overall a good hotel.

Great location, staff were great aswell. We arrived quite early after getting off a 6am flight. They allowed for us to check in early (we are ING club members so possibly why) this was much appreciated.
Rooms were lovely and they had a nice roof top bar where you could have a drink or something to eat. Very happy with our stay.

Did what it’s is on the tin. Will stay there again - No. it is not my type and I did not research it enough before booking. iHG hotel but did not really match up according to me. Location in a chic neighbourhood with lively bars and cafes just behind a he hote. Staff very friendly . Building new and glass structure. Reception tired. Common parts not inspiring at all . Room very large - decoration very mediocre high street furnishings. Please note toilet is separate without a basin so inconvenient. Bath is inside the main room so noisy to the other occupant . Had room slippers missing so was inconvenient. Slight walk to the action of the town centre about 10 minutes. If you need the buzz then this is not the place but if you need chilled yes it is . Also superb terrace restaurant !

We arrived early and our room wasn't ready so was offered an internally facing room. We decided to take this room as we wanted to ger settled and start exploring.

Although we didn't have a view, this didn't detract from our 3 night stay as the room was so clean and well proportioned with an excellent walk-in shower in the bathroom. The bed was huge and so comfortable. We didn't hear anything from other rooms or outside.

Breakfast was served from the restaurant on the top foor which was extended to the terrace (if you wanted this) when the weather improved (stayed at the beginning of May). The breakfast choices were excellent and great quality including canele!

Locally you have two tram lines nearby. We walked everywhere but used the tram to get back to the airport (took about an hour but really cheap). Nearby are some excellent restaurants, bars and bakeries. The area is really nice and, although not far from the main tourist attractions, in a relaxed area.

We would definitely recommend staying at the Indigo and would stay here again.

The area the hotel is situated is good.
They are pumping a scent through the air that I smelled everywhere within the hotel..not good if you have allergies.
We stayed in a premier suite which was esthetically very nice & spacious. However, the lighting in the room & bathroom was terrible making very difficult to shave or apply makeup. The faucets in the sinks were backwards and the one in bathtub did not work at all.There was no shower mat, shower cap or magnifying mirror. I had to ask for towels to be placed in the toilet.
The bedroom was cold, not enough heat from a small vent to cover the size of the room. Coffee maker placed in a dark area. The tv only had French stations, no netflix or Amazon nor any foreign languages (and no way to find out if may be it was hidden on the remote control) . The phone was not working. we told the staff. still not fixed by the time we left three days later .
