Kinda Gross... won't stay here again.

Just stopped in Bordeaux for a night on the way from Paris to Salamanca, and thought this looked like a comfortable affordable option for my family... it was not.
The room smelled strongly of weed, and felt sparse and cold. The shower drain was clogged, and kitchen appliances like the water heater we unusably gross.
The bed was comfortable enough for a comfortable sleep, but when we woke up in the morning, there were tiny ants crawling around on anything remotely sweet, including our toothbrushes and around the cap of our toothpaste.

Served the purpose I wanted for my stay.

The one lady on reception was really helpful and could speak English. The others on reception were not helpful and could not speak English. The property needs a good clean and needs a good paint. The Continental Breakfast included in my rate was great value for money. The rooms are not cleaned/serviced daily. The free toiletries was body wash only in the bathroom. You have to ask for extra towels and for loo paper if needed. There was sufficient parking.

This property does NOT have air conditioning and this was not noted in the Expedia booking. It was hot and only a weak fan was provided. This should’ve been noted explicitly in the booking.
The dryer does not dry. Did four loads and it was still wet. The elevator was filthy and smelled really bad. The outside is also poorly maintained and the overval price was not worth it. It felt unsafe walking outside as well. There was no 24hr reception and had to wait to get a code to enter. I paid for the apartment as there were no other rooms available and it was very pricey for no air conditioning.

The receptionists were helpful and friendly. The parking great and very easy. As a female single traveller, when going out to grab some food in the evening a group of men at the front of the hotel made feel unsafe as they were playing really loud music and staring at me while walking pass them. It was given to me a single studio bedroom for me and my dog, unfortunately for what has been charged the standards did not match. The walls of the studio were filthy, there was X3 Spider webbs with x2 spiders leaving in it too. The AC is not working but they left a vent on there and it seems to be there for a while with the dust on top of it. The toiletries were not replaced on the last cleaning and ended up having a shower with no shower gel. The floor needs dusting and not just mopping as i was walking on dirt in the room and had to clean my feet before going to bed. The taps need a good rub too as they were filthy. The noise of the hotel was awful could hear people talking outside as if they were on my bedroom and i was on the first floor, there was other guests making noise after 11pm, some playing really loud music, others with kids crying and others what it seemed cooking past midnight. Although the bed sheets were replaced.

Dreadful. Bed was rock hard so could not sleep. Nobody at reception overnight so could not complain. Next morning we complained and asked to be moved to another room. When we returned in the evening, the message had not been relayed to the evening staff and they knew nothing about it. They eventually found us another room. This room, however, was dirty and smelled badly of smoke. There were bugs all over the furniture. We asked for a refund and was told to claim through Hotels.com. Unfortunately the telephone number for your website was out of service, so with no other option, we left the hotel and slept in our car.

This is a trucker/ transient stop. Cigarette smoke 24/7 - it filled our non smoking room, no a/c, sofa bed was probably from the 70s with stains on it (unsure last time it was cleaned) and super thin and uncomfortable! We left with a number of bug bites and left as quick as we could. Front staff was lovely.

The hotel/apartments are ok, the price is cheap for the area so you have to adjust your expectations. Room was hot as summertime and no a/c, but a fan was supplied in the room. If you are travelling through or in a budget, it’s ok for a night. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the gym looked good, but we did not use it as only staying for 1 night while passing through.

Literally stayed 5mins and checked out, when we pulled up there were many people in the car park some of whom were praying and as they kept watching us it felt very unsafe. The property stunk of smelly fish from the ground floor up and our room was directly next to a room undergoing refurbishment so the sound of loud drilling was so bad it was like they were on the room with you. Very basic room.

There was a problem with their system and although they had received confirmation of our booking and payment, it was 45 miinuts before we had the key to our apartment.
It was noisy and permeated by cigarette smoke from the corridor and garden.
The bathroom was full of mold and the toilet seat was broken with an old key card in the pan. So obviously not touched but the chambermaid. The bed linen was clean and comfortable. The flat was old and tired. Do not book this place as it doesn't even warrant 1 star!

My experience was really bad, the accommodation is not good, furniture is not good, dirty dishes … also on my last day, check out was at 12:00, the cleaner started knocking at my door from 9:00 and they came 5 times disturbing my sleep between 9:00-12:00… very very unhappy about thw stay.

It’s a good place to stay to visit Bordeaux on a budget. It doesn’t feel particularly safe outside, 2 blokes wondering separately around. Either they were plain clothes security, punters or pimps.
I would stay here again but we’ll go everywhere with my car.

Make sure you check to see if rooms have climate controls, the temperature outside was 40+°c and inside the room was not much cooler. There was no fan. We had to take cold baths to keep cool but when we saw our baby (1month old) sweating, we knew it was better to be in our car than a hot box.

Fine for the price. Only used it as a one night stop over. The room can certainly do with a freshen up, which does seem to be happening as there was work being carried out on the building. There were dining options 5-10 mins away, although these are soulless chain restaurants.

Hotel looks great on pictures but actual conditions are horrible. We were 4 couples travelling together and all of us were horrified. The hotel is dimly lit, the carpets are old and stained, the walls are scraped, the furniture are all banged up. It is like a bad dream

Clean and comfortable hotel. Could have benefited from air conditioning though, as it was quite warm in the room. Although it was not the hotels responsibility, there was a pile of rubbish on the pavement near the hotel. This was very unsightly, and a health risk. Perhaps something could be done to get it removed?

Cheapest you can find for a quick rest stop

The price is fantastic and it is a good location with parking and a very close drive to the city centre and the brocade to all other places.
We have had 2 different rooms... both smell of sewage as the bathrooms seem to have drainage issues or something... and you can hear every single noise from someone beside or above you. Beds horrendously uncomfortable with pillows that should have been thrown away 10 years ago.
It seems mostly workers staying there and noisy always with them.
Staff are very nice...

Very unimpressed with this place mainly due to the lack of air conditioning as it was so hot we had to open a window which let in mosquitos. All in all a very uncomfortable night. We were supposed to stay there again on our return trip but I have cancelled it. Definitely don’t want to stay there again.

Nice area and easily walkable from the Trams. Property conditions leave a bit to be desired when it comes to the rooms, but the bed was comfortable and reasonably clean, quit rooms for the price. Would recommend for an overnight stay, but not longer.

Dirty: hairs on bedsheets, stains on blanket, sink not clean.
Malfunction: brokem toilet paper holder, no shower curtain, pull out bed legs broken. Bath towels were like thin rags.
Service: POOR! Unapologetic. Made excuses and said they can’t give us another room and housekeepers are gone for the day.

Worst experience ever. Tried to cancel second night but Expedia couldn’t reach front desk. Had to suffer another night.

Great stopover.

We have stayed before because we like the location and the apartments are nice. It is a 20 minute tram ride into the centre of Bordeaux. There are also some restaurants nearby for the weary traveller and the lovely lake to walk round.

However, our wash hand basin was blocked in the bathroom and there was no-one on duty to fix it. We were offered another apartment, but we were only there for one night and had already settled in. There is a gym which would be great if the equipment was fixed.
We would certainly stay again.

Perfect stopover for a road trip

Moving from Spain back home to UK with a dog and this was the perfect stop off area for the half way spot. Good clean hotel with good size sofa bed and a separate bedroom. Plenty adequate for our needs and were pleasantly surprised at the quality as expected something more basic. Handy to have the kitchen area too, basic but everything you need for a one night stop.

PERFECT STOP FOR TIRED TRAVELLERS

The hotel was super easy to find and I was sent a text message explaining how to let myself into the hotel and where to find my key. The bed was actually really comfortable and the bed linen was totally immaculate clean white cotton which is always lovely after a long day driving. The room was cosy and warm and you can open the window for fresh air too. Lovely hot shower and a very convenient kitchenette. We will 100% stay here again, the value for money is brilliant. The decorating was a little bit tired looking but to be honest we weren't there to enjoy the room, we just needed somewhere quiet and warm to get a good night's sleep ready for another day traveling and that is certainly what we got. Pet friendly which is why we chose it in the first place. Thank you very much!

Good Value hotel near the Stade

We picked the hotel as it is close to the Stade, and not too far from the tram, and also for the price. The immediate area around the hotel is a bit industrial, but you are only a 15 minute walk from the lake and the Expo. The hotel is close to the ringroad, so is fairly easy to find.

We were upgraded to an appartment on arival, which gave us separate rooms. The rooms are clean, with a small kitchen, TV and good Wifi.

Great access from the toll road, Hotel is 12 to 16 euro from the center by Uber.
Small kitchen is handy, our apartment had a bath which sold it for us.
For sure we would only use this place again 100%

I would recommend this hotel with apartments for an overnight stay whilst travelling, ideal to have an apartment with a kitchen. Only downside was there wasn't enough car parking spaces especially on our return trip, which was in August.

Room was clean and recently refurbished. Comfortable bed with good quality bed linen. Bathroom bigger than expected, whilst towels were a little thin they absorbed very well. Kitchen area well equiped, microwave with integral grill, 2 electric hotplates, good size fridge and plenty of pots, pans and dishes. Kettle and filter coffee maker. While it may be viewed as up market student accommodation it does offer very good value for money. Will use again.

OK apartments

This was an OK apartment. It was a reasonable size with a small kitchenette and a bit scruffy in places. The bathroom could do with a shower curtain or screen around the bath, so you can make full use of the shower. We couldn't get the air con to work, which is not good when it is 30C outside, so we slept with the windows open, this in turn kept us awake listening to the comings and goings of other guests and by being bitten by mosquitoes. The reception staff spoke good English, but were not very helpful when asked about local restaurants. We had wanted to venture out to the edge of the river (which I think was a 15-20 min walk) but due to the heat that day and with 2 young kids, thought it best to stay local. However, thanks to the free Wi-Fi, we found a nice restaurant situated within the nearby Hotel Mercure hotel complex(we weren't too jealous of their swimming pool!!) The restaurant is called Brassiere Au33, excellent food.
The apartments have ample free parking (some of which is covered) even when there is a local football match going on near by!!

Was nice rooms but was cluttered with to much useless furnature like book shelves with nothing on them and it didn't leave much room for an open suit case. Also no cloth or dish soap for washing a few dishes by hand so that was a bit of a pain being forced to use the dishwasher for just a few dishes.

I was very late arriving and the office was closed. There had been arrangements made whereby the security guard looked out for me and provided my key and code. Very appreciative of this service. Also the front reception was very good next morning assisting me with details on how to catch bus to railway station. The breakfast was first class. Would recommend this hotel for any traveller.

Way out of town, mozzie plague, hot with no air con so had to open windows, no outside area or rooftop deck, no pool, no kettle, no shower screen so water went everywhere.

Good hotel

This hotel is outside Bordeaux city but only about 10-15 mins by car to the city center. There is a McDonald's and a pizza joint nearby but bear in mind that it's situated in an industrial area and the street is parallel to the highway. If you're unfortunate enough to get a room at the back side of the hotel like we did, you will find the sound of trucks banging several times through the night. There's plenty of parking space, both open air and covered parking. Don't be discouraged by the exterior of the hotel because the rooms are good and clean. I don't think there's airconditioning so it was quite hot at night. The bed was okay, pillow was quite okay too. The foldaway couch was not as comfortable, It was quite nice that there is a separate bedroom for two people. The facilities are good but since we booked for three people, they could have stocked for three. We only had two sets of everything (towels, cutlery, cups, etc. ). The stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher worked very well. There's no dish towel or detergent and rag to wipe off the sink. The bathroom is quite spacious but there is shower curtain or partition so if you take a shower, expect the entire bathroom, and the toilet bowl to get really wet. Hot water is through a boiler. Wifi connection was good. Service is quite good and the reception guy was very helpful and spoke English.

Not impressed on my arrival at this hotel.

Hotel told us that they had no notification of my booking despite the fact that I had a copy of an email from Hotels.com which confirmed that I had paid for my accommodation. It took them sometime to sort the problem out. In the meantime I was given a key to a room which was on the top floor and when I had taken my luggage to the room it transpired that the key was faulty and I was given another room in another part of the complex.

Stayed here with my wife and our 16 month son for a friends wedding. The rooms are VERY basic. The first room we had smelt of smoke a lot, the walls were dirty and the pots in the cupboard had mould growing on them...not a good start! I asked the receptionist for a new room and she was very helpful. Second room we had was cleaner but smaller and still smelt of smoke even after we had the windows open for ages. The bed is very uncomfortable, however my wife said it was ok. Had buffet breakfast first morning, overpriced. There are supermarkets close by, one in a shopping centre 2 mins drive away. The receptionist was very helpful when we asked what to do in bordeaux, showed directions on map to get to tram and what to do in the city centre and which beaches to visit. You do need a car to get around as the closet tram is not close by. There is a mcdonalds and pizza place to eat across the road. Overall an ok place to stay.

OK apartments in the middle of nowhere.If you don't have a car,forget about easy access to town or late night outs.Nearest bus stop 1kilometer away with no proper foot path to pull your trolley case or even to walk/cross a busy road. The buses only go to a stop three kilometers away in the night.Imagine walking 3Km in the middle of the night along a deserted road esp if you are a female on your own.McDonalds, Pizzaaria and a chinese restaurant nearby .Congress centre a good 20minute walk or three stops away on the bus.Staff very friendly and helpful but there is no one around after 8pm.Studio apartment is OK but the apartment for 3/4 (essentially one bedroom with a sofa bed in the living area) is tiny and congested.Bath room was good and clean.Kitchenette with most of the utensils and plates.

Two problems

1. No easy access to public transit. You need a car just to get to the center of the city. The hotel is in a fenced off no-man's land not within walking distance to anything. 2. There is no front desk in the evenings. This was a problem since the hotel did not make up the sofabed for the third person in our party. No sheets or pillows in the room so we could not even do this ourselves. The third person had to sleep without any bedding.

No Public Transit - Industrial Neighborhood

The room was clean, but when your in Bordeaux you want to drink so much that you can't drive home. There was no public transit after about 8PM accessible to the hotel, so I ended up taking taxis every night costing about 20 to 30 euros a day. I might have well just upgraded my hotel to one closer in town for that cost.

Le personnel à l'accueil était très courtois . La chambre en revanche était dans un état d'usage très avancé. Salle de bains très limite, placard de rangement en très mauvais état. Nécessaire de cuisine inexistant .
Lit assez confortable, pas de linge de toilette à l'arrivée . L'accueil a fait le nécessaire, pas de produit de toilette ni de nécessaire pour la vaisselle .
Enfin mon sejour à été écourté d'une nuit et aucune possibilité de remboursement, aucun contact possible en direct ni par le biais de la centrale de réservation.

L'appart pas terrible le ménage n'est pas fait à fond sous le lit jamais fait.
Les robinets sont remplis de calcaire ne sont jamais nettoyer.
La baignoire est rouillé et il manque un rideau de douche pour éviter dans mettre partout.
Côté cuisine il manquait des couverts, des verres que j'ai demandé. La plaque un feu sur deux fonctionne, j'ai prévenu l'accueil, j'espère que pour les prochains sa sera changer.
Après on est comme même dans un hôtel, je ne trouve sa pas normal qu'on doit demander couvert...
Je ne comprend pas qu'aucun inventaire est fait avant et après chaque passage.
Par contre le personnel est sympa et accueillant.

Très déçu ! À notre arrivée nous avons dû changer de chambre car la fenêtre du « salon » ne fermait pas. Quand nous arrivons dans la seconde chambre plusieurs soucis : fenêtre de chambre ne ferme pas correctement l’air passe +++, micro onde et hotte très sale, salle de bain pas de rideau ou paroi, la porte ne ferme pas. présence de brûlure et de rouille. Au prix des chambre un entretien pourrait quand même être fait !!!

Je suis parti avant la fin du séjour.
J’ai payé quatre nuit et je n’y avais passé que deux.

Muy sucia toda la zona de la cocina, paredes con restos de comida, el microondas, el hervidor de agua, el cubo de la basura. Había hormigas pequeñitas por todo el apartamento en la planta 4.
Muy alejado del centro, el tranvia estaba a 15 o 20 minutos andando.
