Roomy, clean and quiet. Close to tram line B which goes to center of Bordeaux-get a multi trip pass at the tram stop. Walk one block to river side park that runs all the way to town center. Great location and helpful bilingual staff. Shops nearby -Carrefours for food etc. Restaurants next door and across the street. Has a garage for parking.
Great place to stay-only minutes from town center.

Very nice, clean, spacious rooms. Close to the tram, which you need because the dining, shopping and nightlife options are four stops away…city center. The tram gets you there in about six minutes. A tram ticket for the week is $17. Daily tickets are a bad bargain. Precious little around the hotel itself, except Citè du vin

Nice modern hotel located by the river and next to a metro stop so it is easy to get into the centre of town in five minutes on the tram, or a pleasant 20 minute walk along the promenade. We will stay here again.

The overall experience was positive. The location while not central was still easily accessible and nearby shops, restaurants, and option to walk along the river into the more bustling part of Bordeaux. The sauna and gym were major reasons for my booking. The sauna was nice but the gym provided minimal options and only cardio - there were no weights. The bathroom in the sauna smelled of mildew or mold and the toilet did not flush. I also would recommend a water refill station in the sauna/gym area.

I have travelled to a lot of countries . I would have to say that Seekoo Hotel was one of the best hotels I have been to. I travelled with my husband and a 10 yr old daughter. The rooms are spacious for a European hotel. It was modern, clean, has air conditioning , clean towels, comfortable beds and pillows and a lovely shower. The beds were so comfy we wanted to stay in bed all day. The A/C has no sound and worked well to keep our room cool for the summer. Location is great and close to tram . Also you can walk 15 -20 min to many shops and restaurants. If you are staying in Bordeaux I highly recommend Seekoo Hotel. I will definitely come back here.

A UNESCO city, personal favorite in France

Good value for the money paid. Half a block from a tram stop. A couple of blocks to the water front and board walk. Several tram stops to the city center. Abundance of restaurants around. Modern room deco. Helpful staff at the front desk.

Après avoir payer pour une superbe chambre dans la série 500, une odeur d’égout a envahi la chambre durant tout le séjour. Lors que j’ai demandé, on m’a dit qu’ils étaient au courant, et ce après avoir passé une nuit dans cette odeur.
On m’a proposé une chambre adjacente, mais les conditions étaient les mêmes.
Il est gênant pour un établissement d’être au courant qu’ils ont des problèmes d’odeurs et de tout de même espérer que les gens ne s’en rendent pas compte. De plus, la raison qui m’a été expliqué relevait d’une explication à 2 centimes. Cet établissement doit revoir le problème pour le régler et ce n’est pas en espérant que les clients ne s’en rendent pas compte en masquant avec des odeurs de pots-pourri à 2 centimes.

Great value and stylish hotel

We enjoyed our few nights at Seeko’o - it was good value and stylish and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was large and clean and the bed comfy.

We would recommend asking for a room towards the back of the hotel as the design of the windows seemed to amplify any noise from the street (especially of weekend revellers!) We visited off-season so there was no restaurant, mini-bar or little in way of room-service, but there are restaurants and bars nearby in this re-developing area of the city. The tram stop nearby gets you into the city within minutes and it’s walkable to the Cite du Vin.

The small sauna (and gym) with views was an excellent addition and helped give the hotel that boutiquey feel.

Je mets 2/5 pour le réceptionniste de nuit sympa sinon j'aurais mis 1.

Service très loin d'un 4****
Réceptionniste de jour insupportable (me fait attendre 20min un chariot qui est a 5 mètres d'elle car occupé a essayer d'encaisser quelqu'un en cash), par contre cette même personne est très à cheval pour appeler à 11h10 pour dire que le check out est a 11h.
Aucune possibilité de décharger les valises en voiture.
Chambres très petites (la photo de la chambre montre une suite mais les autres classiques n'ont pas de design particulier).
Regret.

We stayed here at the last week of August and had an almost surreal experience. Staff was unprofessional and unhelpful.
The property lies on their website: they claim to have room service because the bar/restaurant is closed due to low occupancy but in reality, they don’t. One day I wanted to order room service and the receptionist said they didn’t offer it. Upon insisting and showing their own website, she said she had frozen dishes she could heat up for us in the microwave but they had no bread or anything else.
Also, we spent five days here and they didn’t clean the room even once under the excuse of Covid. I challenged this reasoning because it is obviously safer if the room is cleaned properly every day. In response, they told me to “aerate” the room! This is adding injury because the windows in this hotel do not open!
In a nutshell, one cannot trust anything advertised by this property and I was not happy at all about their low hygiene standards during a pandemic.
I do not recommend this property and would even warn others against staying there.

Worth a stay...!!

Amazing location - 3 mins from quayside and restaurants. 10min walk into central bordeaux. Staff really friendly - bathtub biggest I've ever seen in my travels - amazing.
Only improvement I would suggest is the hotel bar was closed lot earlier than I would have expected. Would have been nice to relax in there as only other option in hotel was the front reception lobby.

large and ultra-modern designed room with great bathroom (120cm larger bath) but could be much cleaner around designed windows. Breakfast is great. The hotel is just close to outlet shops and few steps to direct tramway line to city center.

-available, gated parking for 20 euros/day (only about 10 spots available so make sure you reserve a spot)
-good service for checkin, checkout and any questions in between
-good size rooms with a king size bed that’s super comfortable with big fluffy pillows!!
-good breakfast: croissants especially the chocolate one was great. Scrambled eggs and bacon also very good. Loved the baguettes. Good selection including yogurt and cheese.
-spacious bathroom with large showers and large rain shower head with good water pressure.
-separate toilet from the rest of the bathroom
-good toiletries like slippers, body lotion, 2 in 1 shampoo
-good air conditioning
-good location near waterfront with restaurants nearby. About 30 minutes walk to main downtown area

Cons:
-door for bathroom was hard to open and close
-door for toilet got stuck shut

Overall underwhelmed by this hotel. Thinks its cooler than it is, and staff weren't particularly helpful. Wi-fi was broken during the visit and the hotel was well aware of this. They did make a part refund for the stay which was reasonable of them. Its an average hotel, location is ok but a bit out of town centre. Better options available and i switched hotel when i extended my stay and was much happier.

Hotel undergoing renovation so not all services available, horrible smell on ground floor, toiletries not automatically renewed but done so immediately on request.
Dissapointed after reading previous reviews.
Location good with immediate access to riverside restaurants and bars, and superb tram system station only 2/300 metres from the hotel with access to all parts of the city, seven day pass circa 13 Euros/ person.
Bordeaux superb, one of my, now, favourite cities but would not use Seekoo again

We were comfortable in the hotel which was in good condition but the carpets in the bedroom and the corridor were stained, while there were cigarette burns in the bedroom carpet and on th bath. Staff were very helpful. The toilet flush did not operate for two days!!!

The first day was a bit fraught when our allocated room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke but reception changed our room where we stayed for 7 nights. They provided fruit and chocolates as a present for our longer than usual stay. The location is great near the river with a quick tram ride into the centre of Bordeaux. The area is really being developed with great cafes and bars along the riverfront

The hotel had very \"modern\" decor, which was a little over the top. But the room was very spacious and comfortable and the staff very friendly. They have limited parking available so you need to request it in advance. There were not any spots available for us the day we showed up. About a 30-min easy walk to the city center.

Great location for a stroll into town.

We booked two night here and were pleased with our choice. Helpful staff and good facilities. Panoramic Room was cool, with a round bed and slightly mirrored ceiling! Location was perfect for walking into the centre and close to tram stops if you didn't want to walk. Hotel was opposite the promenade with good cafes and shops.
Didn't have the breakfast as it was quite expensive at 16 euros.

The staff are very very nice! The room is comfortable and clean and calm. The hotel is near everything just 1 minute walk to the Tram station and it's bring you in 5 minutes to down town. If you want to walk to down town it's around 30 minutes walk.

The hotel is a little tired. The room was surface clean but the carpets in the hall and the room were stained. It is close to the tram stop, which makes it easy to get around. It is also across the street from the riverfront development area but we found the restaurants uninspired. However, it was fun to watch to The Pont Jacques Chaban -Delmas bridge open with its vertical-lift, over the Garonne River. At night the support structures, which reach into the sky are lit up with beautiful neon colors. Quite impressive and we could see it from our window. The wifi was good and the price of the hotel seemed reasonable.

I stayed here for one night on a Sunday in August in room 301, third floor at the front of the building.

Breakfast is very expensive

The cocktail bar is closed on Sunday evenings

The third floor hallway carpets are stained and worn.

Room 301 had marks on the walls and chipped furniture.

The trams pass directly outside and can be heard despite windows closed.

The only places to eat locally Ie by the river are expensive restaurants.

There is one tram (C) into town (15 minute journey)

Mini bar very expensive in room.

No coffee machine in room.

Not a UK 5 star / French 4 star hotel more like 3 star hotel.

Very modern but not everyone's taste.

Staff are business like.

Occasional offers for cheaper rooms.

Room 301 had a double bath and massive wide bed with orthopaedic memory foam mattress.

Great hotel.

Hotel was great and just a short 20/30 minute walk to the main busy town. Opposite hotel is a row of shops and bars along the river which is great and very reasonably priced. There is also a tram stop outside the hotel. We reserved our parking with the hotel in advance. We were pleased we did as they don't have too many spaces and finding a parking place on the streets around the hotel may have proved difficult as it was quite busy. We went to the bar one evening as they do happy hour from 7.00-8.00 but we were the only ones there so not much atmosphere. Saying that, we would definitely stay at this hotel again as the rooms were nice and big with excellent bathrooms.

Lovely stay in lovely area of the city!

We booked this as a last minute stay on our way through Bordeaux. The hotel initially feels as if it is far out of the main city, but actually they've recently developed the area and the water-front promenade especially, is absolutely lovely and comes alive in the evenings. Great shops and restaurants. The hotel is very smart and modern - we were upgraded to a room with a round bed. It had a mirrored ceiling!!! slightly odd, but in general the room was everything you wanted from a hotel - comfortable bed, large room, TV, huge bath/shower etc etc. They give you a free bottle of water in every room but no tea/coffee equipment. Breakfast was a typical buffet style breakfast but all very good quality and plenty of choice. The only negatives are that the room was quite hot at night (we were there in May 2015) and the air con wasn't good enough so we opened the windows and the noise of the trams and people leaving restaurants/bars was quite loud during the night. The sauna, steam room and massage chairs were a great added bonus - it was empty the entire time we were there.
To conclude, I'd definitely rebook if I were to go back to Bordeaux and would recommend.

Great hotel in an area that is clearly being renovated. The Quai de Bacalan is lovely with bars and restaurants and perfect for a stroll if the sun is out. The hotel has room service food only, but there are many options to dine nearby. Highly Recommended.

Stylish, but spartan

The hotel is certainly stylish and modern, but simple things like coffee/tea making facilities really should be included. I had to ask reception for a shower cap for my wife. Staff, everywhere, fantastically helpful and knowlegeable. If you buy a daily tram pass, the location is less of an issue, and anyway, some might think that the beautiful riverside location is better than the old town hustle and bustle, and certainly better than the student district to the south. Overall, i would certainly stay again, and recommend the Seeko'o. David

Great hotel for wealthy old hippies without taste

The hotel is just weird: that is, it is trying to be original but it turns out to be simple tasteless. Pros: large, clean rooms; pleasant and helpful staff.
Cons: really pricy; tasteless decor (black mirror ceiling? Pick-through curtain to separate bedroom from shower? A separate room for the toilet, but without a sink to wash your hands?); located in a solitary, unappealing, rather remote neighborhood, quite distant from Bordeaux's magnificent downtown.

Great Oasis in a reviving neighborhood

The hotel is a wow--very modern and very spacious rooms. Staff gets a high rating for friendly and helpful, especially Emma. Location is very close to Tramway stop so getting around is easy. Right across the street is, along with the hotel, the first steps of the urban renewal of the area--but what a first step. It is former waterfront wearhouses that have been rehabbed into a retail, restaurant, waterfront promenade project. Would happlly stay there again.

Top quality staff, very cool hotel, bad location

Staff couldn't do enough to help with good ideas on my recent stay. I also found the rooms to be very cool looking, how they are laid out and in many good details. But it was very hard for cars carrying our luggage to pull in to drop us off and pick us up - it really needs a separate area for arrivals etc.

A very entertaining hotel within

A very entertaining hotel within walking distance of Bordeaux city centre. It has an extremely modern style, and has great facilities in the rooms. The service was very polite and helpful, and some of the staff spoke excellent English, which was very helpful given my embarrassingly bad French. A minor criticism I would have is that the modern look and feel is slighty marred in places where the finish wasn't quite up to scratch- quite noticable with the style that they have chosen.
It was also perhaps a touch expensive, but we had a great time nonetheless.

The hotel is interesting to say the least. Very strange furnishings, lights, strange bathroom etc. Would definitely be the type of place you want to stay with someone who you know very well.

The location is about a good 35 min walk from the main area of Bordeaux, or a 4 min tram ride. The tram station is right next to the hotel. The area itself is kind of run down, except for a shopping area across the street on the river.

Overall, I can recommend for a night or two, but would be strange for an extended stay.

C’est dommage de devoir descendre la demande de petit déjeuner à l’accueil
Je pense que le veilleur de nuit pourrait à 5 h du mat récupérer les demandes dans les étages
Pour un 3 étoiles c’est dommage

Nous avons séjourné la nuit du 8 au 9 novembre à l'hôtel Seeko'o, veille du semi-marathon de Bordeaux dont nous n'avions pas la connaissance.

Nous avons dans un premier temps stationné notre véhicule au Q Park sur les quais, en ayant vu une affiche à l'entrée de l'hôtel nous avons demandé des informations à l'enregistrement.

La réceptionniste nous a indiqué qu'il fallait déplacer notre véhicule dans le parking de la Cité du Vin puisque la rue attenante n'était pas concernée par la course du semi-marathon. J'ai donc déplacé mon véhicule à ce parking qui finalement était fermé jusque la fin de la course le lendemain.

Cette erreur de la réceptionniste nous a fait perdre énormément de temps sur Bordeaux, n'ayant pas la volonté de rester pour le semi-marathon, elle nous avait bien précisé que pour un départ après 8h il fallait se garer dans ce parking.

Au-delà de ce problème majeur, je pense qu'on peut attendre une prestation d'accueil d'une plus grande qualité d'un hôtel 4 étoiles.
Notre chambre comportait beaucoup de tâches sur le sol de la chambre par exemple.
La tenue vestimentaire de la réceptionniste le dimanche matin était une veste des ultramarines, pas réellement une tenue professionnelle pour un hôtel, peut-être que le dimanche la direction est absente et le personnel se permet plus de liberté.

Nous séjournons plusieurs fois par an dans des hôtels avec ma femme ou en famille, c'est la première fois que nous avons une telle déception d'une réservation.

La réceptionniste est très agréable et polie, nous a recontacté pour nous indiquer qu une place de parking était disponible.
Chambre tres propre et agréable, seul point négatif : le manque d insonorisation avec la rue (personnes qui crient et parlent tres forts la nuit)

Très bon séjour de 2 nuits, chambre spacieuse et propre. Bel aménagement et design.
Accueil par des hôtesses attentives et serviables.
Petite solution de dîner en bocaux pratiques le soir.
Le tram passe juste devant pratique pour rejoindre le centre ville.

Das Hotel ist doch für Preis-Leistungsverhältnisse sehr gut! Gibt unterschiedliche Zimmer. Wir hatten eins mit einem Balkon! War sehr geräumig. Hatte eine Parking-Garage. Rezeption sehr nett.

La Wi-Fi deve essere potenziata.
Noi eravamo all’ultimo piano e si percepiva un cattivo odore nella zona corridoio.
Letti molto comodi e stanza luminosa.
L’acqua sempre disponibile in zona entrata hotel.
Colazione ottima ma troppo costosa !

Designerhotel on the riverside and next to the Cite du vin. Tram station in front of the hotel. I guess the hotel was 4* some years ago, as the design is really nice. But you can see, that no „love“ / renovation is done to the hotel. Our kids were in room 310 and the room was smelling like the drain in the street, mold on the joints and towels with brown stains. So bottom like, oke for a stay but we saw different alternatives in Bordeaux nearby we would use next time

Hôtel réservé dans le cadre professionnel, j’y suis restée une seule nuit. Chambre extrêmement propre, très spacieuse, literie très confortable, petit déjeuner varié et produits frais, j’y retournerai sans hésiter

La chambre est tres jolie, la salle de bain aussi. Par contre l’hôtel est tres mal insonorisé, on entend le voisin du dessus et surtout les voitures dehors. Nous avons ete dérangé oar un groupe de jeune s bourrés qui jouai8avec une poubelle dehors 4h du matin. Impossible de dormir! Mauvaise surprise le lendemain matin, plus d’eau chaude pour la douche. Tout l’hotel etait touché. Aucune excuse de la part de la receptionniste. Bref trés déçus, le prix eqt élevé pour un endroit où bon ne peut pas dormir au calme....
