We are family of five and shared two rooms.
Not ideal for a family stay in the base rooms. Not that big and not a lot of areas to store suitcases etc
We loved the main pool area and the dining at the restaurants are pool bar were expectional alone with the buffet b/fast.
The front desk staff were excellent in offering advise and booking reservations in Mkonos and the beach clubs.

This was our fourth visit to the Utopia, the hotel has a great view of Elia beach with an infinity pool. It is a very relaxing location. The hotel is decorated really well and the beds are comfortable, we got a great nights sleep.

The staff are friendly and you have access to the full range of restaurants across the hotels. I would recommend Sishu for the Sushi and Celebrities.

We enjoyed our time at Imperial. The food was amazing, highly recommend the Sishu restaurant. The staff was top tier. The ONLY down side we saw was that our room door didn’t have a lock setting. Overall, we will gladly stay here again.

I would recommend to families

Standard rooms were very noisy. You could hear whatever was happening outside all the time, housekeeping carts etc. service was fine although slow at times around the pool. Food was good. And fabulous pool, consisting of a kids pool, large jacuzzi and 2 huge pools, salt water.

Elia Beach perfection

What a wonderful visit, on the beach in essence with great food, service and accommodations. If you want a great beachside holiday on Mykonos without the insanity of Mykonos, this location on Elia Beach is perfect. We did the half room board stay for 4 nights and truly enjoyed ourselves with wonderful dishes at dinner time. The shuttle into Mykonos old town area, is convenient, requires a small walk into the town, but well done.

Booked the Imperial on the recommendation of a friend. First off, the staff are great, they are working very hard. There seems to be a distinct lack of management though. Perhaps it’s because it’s the end of the season but this hotel, now 22 years old, is showing its age.

Room - spacious. But that’s about it. Extremely uncomfortable bed - one side is like a 400lb person sat on it for a week. My room had a hot tub. It looks in its last legs. Controls were corroded and dirty. The sun beds were worn and torn. Chambermaid was lovely and kind.

Pool - lovely, cold salt water pool. However, safety took a holiday here as the ladder to get in is ridiculous. If you were elderly or handicapped, you would not be able to use it. Sun beds were the best I had in Greece. Simply don’t understand why there aren’t stairs into the pools.

Restaurants- just ok. Overpriced for what you get, and they can charge it because there is no where else to eat in Elia.

Spa - had a massage on the beach via the hotel and it was wonderful, the massage I had at the spa was just ok.

Check in - efficient and good staff as stated. However, look behind the counter. The paint is chipped and peeling and run down.

This hotel needs a complete makeover. Won’t stay again.

Pros: room had an awesome view. It was quiet. Staff was friendly and did a great job overall. Property was Beautiful.

Cons: room had ants. There was nowhere to hang up a towel. No English television and no way to log into Netflix or any other streaming service. Not enough light for my wife to do her makeup. Shuttle to anywhere runs very infrequently. Couldn’t make full use of the facilities because a wedding party booked them. I would’ve stayed somewhere else had I known I was a second class guest.

So the hotel cleaning staff cleans your room 2x a day. My issue, was that the do not disturb light was NEVER respected. I also called down one of the days I was there to the front desk and asked them to not have my room cleaned that day so I could not be disturbed.

I was disturbed at least 2x daily during the morning cleaning and at least 1x each evening for the evening cleaning.

My room was barged into by the cleaning staff. Which meant that I had no privacy, could not take a nap, and felt unsafe and anxious each time I was in my room.

On top of that my door, and the door for my friends room was broken. So our doors were continuously left ajar/open. Issues were reported but were no fixed while we were there.

Also, I was there with a group of women but the hotel restaurants and bars would make a big deal of us wanting to pay for our own things. We weren't allowed to use cash, we weren't given the option of separate bills, etc. And when we tried to do these things the staff was rude.

There are only overpriced restaurants close by to this place. The cost to get into and out of town is 50 euros by cab. There is a shuttle, but the hours will leave you stranded in town if you don't come home by 10 PM (Mykonos is a party town so most stuff starts at 10 PM). It's a 30 minute trip each way.

Property was beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and the private beach area - (only short walk). Breakfast was amazing. Room had great view. They provide free shuttle to Mykonos Town - so that was great. They helped arrange transportation from and to ferry - which was convenient and timely.

The hotel property and accommodations were beautiful. The breakfast buffet was one of the best, if not THE BEST breakfast buffets I’ve ever seen. The highlight of our experience was the people who worked at the hotel. From the moment we were picked up at the airport by George to the morning greetings at breakfast by Lito, Ali, and Malik, we felt warmly welcomed with kind hospitality. The pool was amazing. Panos, was so creative in making us cocktails we’ve never tried before. He was very kind and we enjoyed conversations with him at the pool bar. The sushi restaurant was on point. Although I never asked, I knew the sushi chef was experienced because the food was perfectly prepared and was delicious. My experience at the Imperial Myconian was one of the greatest in my lifetime and I will never forget the people and the hospitality we received with such generosity.

Almost, but not quite prefect stay

Our 2nd stay in this hotel, and 4th to a Myconian hotel. They are in an excellent location, we love Elia beach, and that’s why we stay there - had a pool room this time - unfortunately there was an issue with the drains, and we had to move, and they upgraded us a ‘suite’ - same size room but v big pool. The hotel is good, but could maybe do better. They’ve opened a new gym and it’s extremely basic for a 5 star hotel - one machine, a few broken ones, no free weights below 8kg. Finally, the eternal problem in September of them selling off rooms to sales conferences - then you get very rowdy people at the beach, and worse still, full on outdoor pool party with concert level music by our room until 1.30am and the following night until 12.30 - no apology or warning letter in our room - I’ll probably book for next year, but they need to decide what’s more important - customers or corporate business. First time ever we didnt eat in any of the hotels, as we always have a car, and I pre book a few restaurants. Bear in mind Elia is isolated and limited places to eat. Overall a relaxing and lovely stay.

Property itself is very nice. We were supposed to have a king bed but we received two doubles pushed together. Obviously this is uncomfortable but they brought us a padded cover to put over the mattresses and this helped a lot. We also were supposed to have the modern room but received a classic room. This went unresolved but overall I was ok with the room we received.
My issue is the food prices. On the surface the prices seem in line with resort pricing. But when the food arrives the portions are so small you have to order 2 and plus an appetizer in order to call it a meal. There are equally as nice and less expensive options in town. There’s also not a lot around the hotel and when it’s windy the beach is impossible.

We have been coming to Mykonos for 7 years now and been staying at numerous locations and hotels on the island. Myconian Imperial Hotel is undoubtedly the best place we have been so far. We have been staying at Myconian Imperial for 14 nights and we loved every single minute of it. From start to finish our experience was amazing. We hot upgraded to superior room with the private pool and the most beautiful garden with breathtaking sea view. Friendliness of all of the staff is an asset to Myconian Collection and complimentary transfer to and from town was as added bonus. Gym is the most equipped gym we have came across whilst staying at different hotels and buffet breakfast had everything you can wish for. Hotel also have an access to a private section of the Elia beach which in our opinion is the most beautiful beach in Mykonos. We will definitely be back next year.

We just stayed at Myconian Imperial for 5 days for our honeymoon and WOW it was amazing!! It's a beautiful hotel right on Elia beach with great amenities - we enjoyed the pool, beach beds, and gym, as well as the Celebridies restaurant and the daily breakfast. Our room had a hot tub which was super nice to have in the evenings.

The staff at Myconian Imperial is fabulous. Alex at the front desk was super helpful, as were all of the other employees at the hotel. They recommended great beaches for us to visit when we wanted to venture out and arranged taxis for us to and from.

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel if you're in Mykonos and want to be in a little bit of a calmer area away from the crazy party scene but still within reach. We loved it and definitely want to visit again!

I would definitely not recommend this hotel. It offers a complementary shuttle service to and from the port which is nice, however I set it up with them for a 1030 ferry arrival and the shuttle didn’t show till almost 1pm. We called the front desk and they had a different excuse as to why the shuttle hadn’t shown up. When we got to the hotel it is really nice the pool area was nice the lobby was nice, however when we got to our room the floor was still wet and dirty shoe marks were on the floor I had to take a towel and wipe the floor down. Our room was suppose to have a “private pool,” with a sea view. The pool off the balcony was far from private it was a long pool with some bamboo divider which did not go all the way to the bottom of the pool meaning you can hear and see the people next to you as well as just swim under the divider into the next persons pool area. And the sea view were pool hoses and nets that were laid out on dirt just past the pool. The beach was also pretty terrible they call that private as well but allow people to walk up and down it bothering you all day trying to sell you things. It is also impossible to get food or drinks down there. When we arrived at the beach the staff was listening to music and smoking cigarettes hanging out together. There was no one monitoring the people coming up from the public beach so it was definitely not very private or relaxing. Won’t let me type anymore but food was good wait staff terrible only one bar at night awfu

The setting is picturesque, the staff are all amazingly kind, and there is not a singke thing k would change. Even with a large celebration going on outside, the room itself was sound proof. They supply water everyday now to guests, shuttles to town and to the airport. And reslly anything we needed they happily helped with.

We had an amazing stay at the Imperial. Stayed in a room with terrace and jacuzzi with a view to die for. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Due to COVID some amenities were removed from the room but when we asked for espresso machine they put it back so we could enjoy coffee on the terrace first thing in the morning. We couldn't get the room before 3pm so it would be nice to offer a welcome drink or something while waiting as other hotels do. The pool bar food and staff was great too. Breakfast on the other hand was good but rather limited. No menu for a la carte options but you can ask for omelette or fresh pineapple. Overall it was a great stay and wish to be back one day. Thanks for having us.

We booked the superior room for our honeymoon on the picture it’s showed that it’s ocean view, that’d the only reason we booked this room however I was really disappointed when we arrived. Our room was not ocean view and the staff told us that a big group would leave the second day and we could change to a better room. The second day we were only given one other choice, a room in the basement, it was dark and damp . I tried to tell the staff it’s our honeymoon and on that day it’s actually my birthday I would appreciated if he can give us a better room but nope. I wouldn’t come back to this hotel for sure. Breakfast was not good as well. Not worth the price I paid.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful service. From the minute we walked in we were treated with a level of service I’ve rarely experienced. The grounds are stunning, with panoramic ocean views from the hillside. Fully amenitized property with restaurants, spa, gym, infinity pool, etc.

The rooms were nicely decorated and laid out reasonably well. They were a tad compact, but if you are spending much time in the room you are doing Mykonos wrong.

One thing to know is that Elia Beach is within easy walking distance, but everything else requires a 20-30 minute shuttle or taxi ride. If you plan to go into town frequently and stay past 1:00am, it will be a pricey taxi (35-45 euro) back. There is a free shuttle that runs hourly for much of the late afternoon and evening.

The service was impeccable! The resort was great! We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was amazing! The two young ladies who served us at the pool we’re just the best by far!! There wasn’t one staff member we could complain about. From the front desk to the service staff to the service employees...we were always their first priority! If I had one complaint it would be the rooms had no drawers! Seems to be the norm on the islands now! We hung some pieces but the rest had to stay in our suitcases... a slight inconvenience. Having said that I would absolutely recommend the resort!

Came here after staying in Patis Gialos for a few days. Very secluded area with no other shops near by. The hotel’s decor is stunning with friendly faces all around. Even the room was comfortable and modern. But, the pricing is ridiculous. Food, drinks even water you will be paying through the roof. The evening restaurant has a fine dining feel to it, but without the fine dining food to match. Definitely has the prices for it though. If you don’t mind forking out 4 Euro for a small still water and 16 Euro for a small Margarita pizza, this is the place for you. Again, the hotel is beautiful, but the prices...

We had a very relaxing stay as mother and daughter . The staff were very helpful and kind especially to my 90 year old mother . Angelika was so very caring and Dmitra in the pool bar was very helpful and also the young lady who moved our umbrella to shade us , I didn't catch your name ,sorry . My only slight reservation was that the glass doors on the toilet and shower became transparent when the light was on , thus making privacy a little more difficult . However there was a curtain that separated the bathroom area from the bedroom area which solved the problem . Fabulous hotel and wonderful staff .

Our stay was amaz8ng... Beautiful hotel and best beach on the island. Do not listen to other sites and ratings. Elia beach is far nicer than platys gialos and paradise beaches. Far better. The only negatives I will say is, the distance to town and lack of affordable taxis was annoying. We had to stay on shuttles schedule. Another major negative is they have no vents in bathrooms, just a window to the halls. So it smells really bad in the hallways and on the property

This hotel is just fabulous!
The service is above & beyond, the food is very fresh and presented beautifully at all times.do not miss the breakfast! There are so many choices from fresh fruits,breads cereals and cooked !
The bedrooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable.
The reception area is very arty and quirky which I liked it was very different to the usual bland hotel receptions!!
Great pool on the same level as the sushi restaurant.on a couple of occasions I ordered sushi from the beach menu.
I am delighted to say that this hotel and its staff are just wonderful.
I would definitely book the Myconian Imperial every time I stay in Mykonos.

Outstanding hotel. I travel a lot and that was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. So relaxing. Friendly staff. Beautiful place! Shuttle very frequent to get to town. Only 20 mins drive away. Food unreal!

Excellent Luxury in Mykonos

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. The staff was incredible, every single one of them. We were made to feel so welcome and the property is absolutely stunning. Wonderful pool area, beach access, and restaurant was excellent. Breakfast buffet was so good we did not want to leave the hotel.

Amazing property with beautiful views close to the beach. The only negative thing about this property is some of the staff . For the price you pay you expect a 5 stars service and to be honest you don’t get that. Seems like they need to be more training in terms of good service. Average service at all the restaurants is a shame.

Sounds like a cliche, but photos can’t do this place justice. Absolutely spectacular resort. Staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Property is immaculate. Breakfast buffet was expansive and delishious. I am not someone who has reviewed a hotel in the past but really felt like sharing my experience here. Would definately return.

Peace & luxury for family. Paradise awaiting.

Stop searching. This is it. We are just starting a 2 weeks VAC in Greece, travelling from Montreal, with 2 kids (5&8), first stop in Mykonos. The hotel is relatively small, boutique style, amazing pool, wow furniture, great pools, stunning views and the beach nearby (4min walk) with a 25ish min shuttle to town (but you will not want to leave the hotel if you are only staying 2 nights, just to settle down and relax). Try to get the room with a jacuzzi on terrace with sea view. This really made the difference. We are frequent business travellers all over the world. We thought this was perfect and the hotel really deserves the 5stars (casual). Go for it!
