Timedrops was amazing! We had a fantastic time here. Nicholas is so helpful and arranged our transfers, boat trip, car rental and is on hand whenever needed. The rooms were authentic and full of charm and character. The pool was clean and refreshing. There are a lot of steps which could be steep for older guests. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Nicholas even bought a new fan so our son could have one in his room at night. We even made friends with a very friendly grey cat from the neighbourhood who joined us for meals! Shops and restaurants are a short walk away and convenient. I'd recommend Timedrops for anyone wishing to have a quiet stay in a traditional area of Santorini away from the crowds of the more popular towns.

We stayed at Timedrops for a 5 day mini-break in Santorini earlier this month. The location, central to Emporio allowed easy connections across the island.

The villa, Thira, was very well appointed. Set inside the hillside, the ambience was authentic and welcoming. Nikos, the manager for Timedrops was attentive and shared many useful local insights.

We were incredibly impressed with Timedrops, and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

So glad we picked this location, which feels unspoilt by tourism and is perfect for a relaxing break. The villa is well equipped and the private pool and terrace relatively private compared to the exposed villas of Fira and Oia.
Emborio is a charming village to walk around with lots of narrow alleyways to wander through. Photo opportunities are plenty.
Our host, Nikos, was very welcoming and most helpful in recommending places to eat and visit.
Thoroughly enjoyable break.

It’s a great spot to get with the locals and off the rat race. Locals are friendly. A rental car is a must staying here as it gives you the best option to move around the island. Be sure you have your wit wits about you driving as the roads are very narrow around the island

We stayed 2 nights in Thira. The apartment is light and bright with lots of space. There’s a spacious roof terrace with sea views and good seating. It is the highest of the apartments offered at Timedrops and not overlooked.

Quiet stay in Volcano

Stayed 2 nights at Volcano. Comfortable apartment with a large roof terrace and a smaller terrace with pool by front door. No views from inside apartment, but sea views from terraces. Emporio is a lovely town - very peaceful.

Gorgeous, traditional Greek villa.

This property was amazing. Great attention to detail and fabulous private pool. Situated in a quiet part of Santorini away from the masses but also a great location for exploring the island. We really appreciated how helpful Nicholas (the host) was. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend Timedrops to others.

Characterful villa in amazing location

A wonderful stay in the middle of a historic area. The villa was beautifully appointed and we felt we were living like locals and not tourists. Great neighbourhood, amazing views and the jacuzzi was definitely the cherry on the top!

Quiet-Good for Families-Need Car

We really enjoyed our stay. Nicholas was incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions. Our villa was spacious-2 bed-2 bathrooms-kitchenette-small pool-and outdoor living area. It's a quiet location with several amenities close by-restaurants, grocery stores, coffee cafes. Highly recommend a rental car to get around as bus service is sketchy. Laundry service is 10 euro per load-loads are small. They also have a small lending library. If you want a beach party vacation-this is not your place; but everything we wanted to do was easy to access. We recommend Pizza Fillipos-near by and delicious!

The property was amazing and the service was even better.

The place was more beautiful than expected and an amazing place to hang out. The service of the hotel was also impeccable. Any time we needed anything, be it help ordering food or being locked out of our rooms, the front desk attendant was there in a matter of minutes. The stay was really fantastic and would recommend to anyone visiting Santorini.

Eleftherios was a fantastic host, he greeted us with dinner on our first night when we came in late. Offered loads of helpful suggestions including some amazing restaurants. The location is very nice, historic and quaint which is what we wanted. It's close to Perissa and some nice beaches too. We stayed for a week on Honeymoon, received a free upgrade and thoroughly enjoyed staying here, swimming in the pool and Eleftherios' hospitality. Would definitely come again. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Real Greek Experience

We prefer to stay in traditional accommodation as opposed to resorts,Timedrops certainly delivered a Greek experience complete with donkey and rooster noises! We stayed in Volcano suite and loved it, the roof terrace and plunge pool made relaxing after sightseeing something to look forward to. Eleftherios was so helpful he made fantastic recommendations for dinner and sunset views, he surprised us with homemade treats and went above and beyond the call of duty. We had a lovely time and we look forward to visiting again one day

Wonderful short stay

The host is wonderful and full of useful information. It is a luxury mini villa with all the required equipment including hobs, coffee maker and toaster and electric mini kettle.

Renting a car on the island required some confidence in driving as roads are very narrow.

Enjoyable Holiday at Timedrops

We stayed in the Volcano Villa at Timedrops Emporio at the end of May. The Villa's are lovely in design and very quirky, we had a lovely large roof terrace for sun bathing and taking in the beautiful views over Santorini. Our villa could sleep 5 but only 3 of us staying so plenty of room to relax we had a double bed in a cave bedroom with on suite bathroom and my daughter had a twin room too herself with on suite aswell.
The kitchenette is very small and you only have a fridge and two cooking rings and kettle so not much could be cooked at the villa but there are cafe's and restaurants in Emporio.
We hired a car for our week in Santorini and we found it to be really handy for visiting all the lovely towns and villages that Santorini has to Offer.
Perissa beach is a 10 minute drive from the villas and has plenty of restaurants to choose from and we thought the prices we reasonable.
Overall we really enjoyed our visit and the chap who looks after them is very good at recommending places to visit and to eat.

Beautiful little gem !!

Over the moon to have booked this traditional villa, out of the way to hussle and bustle !!, but with the hire of a car close enough to get all over the island. The fantastic Lefteris could not have been any nicer, really helpful,very thoughtful and creates the best breakfast served on a idyllic Cycladic Villa terrace. End of May the perfect time to travel, the perfect retreat for a one week battery recharge for our family of four. X

What a wonderful spot. Traditional private villas in a beautiful rustic setting. Everyone there couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Transport is a must- I'd suggest a quad bike with the very narrow streets. Such a romantic location and villa in particular.

Fantastic and welcoming host makes the place

Very friendly lady runs this hotel and for a young family with children we were made to feel very welcome and at home. We were given very helpful direction s and even a free shuttle to the town centre where the buses left. The hotel pools are stunning and view towards the see is great. Highly recommend.

Jacuzzi beetje teleurstellend. Eerder gewoon zwembad aan kamertemperatuur. Televisie deed het ook niet en tuinstoelen hadden hun beste tijd gezien. Aan de andere kant, zeer ruime propere villa, vriendelijke gastheer, mooi kader.

Non touristic insider tip

Timedrops Santorini is a very nice property with some small disadvantages.

The apartment is very nicely arranged, all furnitures are in a good condition.
You even have a sea view.
They clean the apartment every day and you get new towels and every 3 days new bedclothes.

The manager is very nice and helpful and you can contact him 24 hours.

The apartment has some small disadvantages:
There is only one wardrobe for four people.
The apartment has no air-condition, only fans. This is in the summer times not enough.
The pump of the pool is working the whole time and this is very loud.

The hotel is located in historical castelli area, quite and peaceful Place and at the same time so much to see around. There was a very tiny but so nice little cafe nearby with hilarious staff. I enjoyed so much! Beautiful views everywhere you went.

Bellissimo hotel tipico, ogni villa ha la sua piscina, la nostra era privata interna, un Po freddina dato che non prende sole, ma bellissima. Proprietario molto cordiale, ci ha dato un bellissimo benvenuto spiegandoci tutte le cose che dovevamo vedere, scrivendo tutto sulla mappa, e offrendoci da bere! Parcheggio privato fronte hotel! Non è chiuso, ma il paese come tutta l'isola è tranquillissimo! Consiglio macchina in affitto di piccole dimensioni o scooter! Pulizie giornaliere! Casa con tutti i comfort, cucina con pentole, tavolo da pranzo sul terrazzo, solarium (villa con piscina al chiuso). Il paese ha tutto, bar, market, prime spiagge a 5 minuti almeno di moto, A 25/30 min in moto dall'aeroporto, 20 min da fira, ma i viaggi non pesano! Il panorama vi cullerà! Consigliatissimo!

Hotel romantique dans village charmant

Nous avons loué la villa byzantine pour une semaine au mois d'avril en couple et nous n'avons pas été déçu par ce petit coin tranquille.

Les plus : cadre, confort, équipement, à l'écart des touristes, accueil, disponibilité du personnel, propreté, espace, parking et wifi gratuit, proche commerces de proximité.

Les moins : rue d'accès étroite, manque un micro onde en cuisine, jacuzzi pas chauffé en donc trop froid pour les mois de printemps ou d'automne. Pour ce logement, rez de rue peu passant.

Increíble!!

Es el mejor hotel que hemos conocido. La ubicación es maravillosa, pero la atención que recibimos fue mejor aún. Elefherios es el mejor anfitrión que puede haber, hasta nos tramitó el alquiler de un auto que es fundamental para conocer Santorini. Sin dudas vamos a volver a Santorini, y sí o si lo vamos a hacer a Timedrops, muchísimas gracias Elefherios!!!

de faciliteit is moeilijk te vinden en ligt aan een nauw straatje.
wij waren in de veronderstelling dat dit een vier sterren faciliteit was gezien de prijs per nacht.
wij troffen een basaal ingerichte kamer en badkamer aan met uitzicht op een om muurde binnenplaats met klein zwembad
s'morgens werd het ontbijt op de kamer geserveerd door de manager van de faciliteit
al vroeg is er verkeerslawaai
