The unique and luxurious Timedrops Santorini holiday villas consist of a cluster of six traditional houses in the town of Emporio, Santorini. The stone-built villas, dating from the early 20th century, have been carefully restored using traditional and eco-friendly techniques, preserving many original features.
Each enchanting villa has a name inspired by a particular time period in the island's history and is furnished with treasured, handmade pieces. Guests can choose from the Cycladic, Volcano, Byzantine, Venetian, Pirate, and Thira villas, each offering views of the Aegean Sea and a range of modern amenities, such as free internet access.
Visitors might explore the narrow stone pathways of the town's castle and settlement and enjoy a drink in the traditional café, then return to their villa for an authentic Greek meal prepared with local, organic ingredients and accompanied by live music or poetry readings.

Timedrops was amazing! We had a fantastic time here. Nicholas is so helpful and arranged our transfers, boat trip, car rental and is on hand whenever needed. The rooms were authentic and full of charm and character. The pool was clean and refreshing. There are a lot of steps which could be steep for older guests. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Nicholas even bought a new fan so our son could have one in his room at night. We even made friends with a very friendly grey cat from the neighbourhood who joined us for meals! Shops and restaurants are a short walk away and convenient. I'd recommend Timedrops for anyone wishing to have a quiet stay in a traditional area of Santorini away from the crowds of the more popular towns.

So glad we picked this location, which feels unspoilt by tourism and is perfect for a relaxing break. The villa is well equipped and the private pool and terrace relatively private compared to the exposed villas of Fira and Oia.
Emborio is a charming village to walk around with lots of narrow alleyways to wander through. Photo opportunities are plenty.

It’s a great spot to get with the locals and off the rat race. Locals are friendly. A rental car is a must staying here as it gives you the best option to move around the island. Be sure you have your wit wits about you driving as the roads are very narrow around the island

We stayed 2 nights in Thira. The apartment is light and bright with lots of space. There’s a spacious roof terrace with sea views and good seating. It is the highest of the apartments offered at Timedrops and not overlooked.

Stayed 2 nights at Volcano. Comfortable apartment with a large roof terrace and a smaller terrace with pool by front door. No views from inside apartment, but sea views from terraces. Emporio is a lovely town - very peaceful.

This property was amazing. Great attention to detail and fabulous private pool. Situated in a quiet part of Santorini away from the masses but also a great location for exploring the island. A wonderful stay in the middle of a historic area. The villa was beautifully appointed and we felt we were living like locals and not tourists. Great neighbourhood, amazing views and the jacuzzi was definitely the cherry on the top!

Quiet-Good for Families-Need Car
We really enjoyed our stay. Nicholas was incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions. Our villa was spacious-2 bed-2 bathrooms-kitchenette-small pool-and outdoor living area. It's a quiet location with several amenities close by-restaurants, grocery stores, coffee cafes. Highly recommend a rental car to get around as bus service is sketchy. Laundry service is 10 euro per load-loads are small. They also have a small lending library. If you want a beach party vacation-this is not your place; but everything we wanted to do was easy to access. We recommend Pizza Fillipos-near by and delicious!

The place was more beautiful than expected and an amazing place to hang out. The service of the hotel was also impeccable. Any time we needed anything, be it help ordering food or being locked out of our rooms, the front desk attendant was there in a matter of minutes. Eleftherios was a fantastic host, he greeted us with dinner on our first night when we came in late. Offered loads of helpful suggestions including some amazing restaurants. The location is very nice, historic and quaint which is what we wanted. It's close to Perissa and some nice beaches too. We stayed for a week on Honeymoon, received a free upgrade and thoroughly enjoyed staying here, swimming in the pool and Eleftherios' hospitality. Would definitely come again. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We prefer to stay in traditional accommodation as opposed to resorts,Timedrops certainly delivered a Greek experience complete with donkey and rooster noises! We stayed in Volcano suite and loved it, the roof terrace and plunge pool made relaxing after sightseeing something to look forward to. Eleftherios was so helpful he made fantastic recommendations for dinner and sunset views, he surprised us with homemade treats and went above and beyond the call of duty. We had a lovely time and we look forward to visiting again one day

The host is wonderful and full of useful information. It is a luxury mini villa with all the required equipment including hobs, coffee maker and toaster and electric mini kettle.

Enjoyable Holiday at Timedrops
We stayed in the Volcano Villa at Timedrops Emporio at the end of May. The Villa's are lovely in design and very quirky, we had a lovely large roof terrace for sun bathing and taking in the beautiful views over Santorini. Our villa could sleep 5 but only 3 of us staying so plenty of room to relax we had a double bed in a cave bedroom with on suite bathroom and my daughter had a twin room too herself with on suite aswell.
The kitchenette is very small and you only have a fridge and two cooking rings and kettle so not much could be cooked at the villa but there are cafe's and restaurants in Emporio.
We hired a car for our week in Santorini and we found it to be really handy for visiting all the lovely towns and villages that Santorini has to Offer.
Perissa beach is a 10 minute drive from the villas and has plenty of restaurants to choose from and we thought the prices we reasonable.
Overall we really enjoyed our visit and the chap who looks after them is very good at recommending places to visit and to eat.

Over the moon to have booked this traditional villa, out of the way to hussle and bustle !!, but with the hire of a car close enough to get all over the island. The fantastic Lefteris could not have been any nicer, really helpful,very thoughtful and creates the best breakfast served on a idyllic Cycladic Villa terrace. End of May the perfect time to travel, the perfect retreat for a one week battery recharge for our family of four. X

We loved the time we spent at TimeDrops. The property is managed by Amalia and she is truly in a Class By Herself! She will work hard to assist you in every way possible and is a Wealth of Knowledge! The Villas are in an older area and have been nicely renovated and having your own private pool is a great treat!

What a wonderful spot. Traditional private villas in a beautiful rustic setting. Everyone there couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Transport is a must- I'd suggest a quad bike with the very narrow streets. Such a romantic location and villa in particular.

Very friendly lady runs this hotel and for a young family with children we were made to feel very welcome and at home. We were given very helpful direction s and even a free shuttle to the town centre where the buses left. The hotel pools are stunning and view towards the see is great. Highly recommend.

The hotel is located in historical castelli area, quite and peaceful Place and at the same time so much to see around. There was a very tiny but so nice little cafe nearby with hilarious staff. I enjoyed so much! Beautiful views everywhere you went.

Es el mejor hotel que hemos conocido. La ubicación es maravillosa, pero la atención que recibimos fue mejor aún. Elefherios es el mejor anfitrión que puede haber, hasta nos tramitó el alquiler de un auto que es fundamental para conocer Santorini. All the rooms and apartments are self catering with full kitchen facilities and separate bedrooms. The Birds is not a hotel or private rooms, is a private villa with 9 nice and comfortable apartments.
We offer free car rental all year round. The car that is included the price is a Cat A Manual car and includes the basic insurance pluw theft protection.
