The rates are very reasonable! I have stayed here for almost a month several times, and it's always been a great experience. The pool is consistently immaculate and perfect for kids. The rooms are tidy, and hot and cold water are available. I would definitely stay here again next time!

I stayed at the Circle Inn earlier in the week for two nights and a single night before going to the airport. The hotel is comfortable and clean. They serve a decent breakfast and have a ground level pool.

The rooms are rather spacious, although the bathrooms are a little smaller, but not to the point of being unmanageable. There is ample room for your belongings and room to work and charge your devices. They do lack mini-fridges, but have cold, filtered water dispensers on each floor.

The staff is great. They are always prepared for your arrival, prompt and efficient when dealing with your needs and very friendly and helpful in general. They were ready for my very early check out times and had me a taxi arranged as promised.

For a quick stay in Ilo Ilo City, The Circle Inn is a good choice.

The staff is friendly and efficient, the property is clean and quiet and the hotel is in a generally safe area.

My room was clean and the AC worked very well. While the property could use some upgrades, I was quite comfortable and satisfied for the value.

The staff is excellent. Both times I’ve stayed here they were available and accommodating when I checked out very early. They got me a taxi and checked me out promptly so I could make my connections.

I stayed on the 4th floor for a week and most of the mornings, I would hear noises from the roof. I think they were doing some maintenance and usually around 8-10am. I sleep in a little bit and the noise sure wakes me up then. Other than that, it was comfortable with my stay there. The staff were very helpful.

Hotel Management really need to keep-up with the building maintenance and cleanliness. Rooms need to be painted and would be nice to have a new clean bedsheets, and do not re-use stained sheets!

Air Conditioning desperately need to be replace. Listen to them, see if anyone could get a good night sleep while it is running.

As they say, you get what you paid for, so I am not expecting too much, but having a clean room would be nice. Make sure to provide the needed tools and materials that the Cleaning Crew needed to be successful.

More expensive rooms are quite nice. Cheap rooms are too small. Location is walking distance to wharf (boats to Guimaras island) and Robinson mall. Decent breakfast. Neighborhood might look a bit sketchy, but actually rather safe. Staff is excellent. Overall, very nice stay for checking out Guimaras and Iloilo City.

The hotel is located in a slum district, which made going out somewhat uncomfortable. The bathroom lighting was very poor, the staff replaced the bulbs, but the problem was in the wiring because the bulbs kept blowing. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work at all during the ten days that I was there.

Located on a dead end road which I like because it felt exclusive and private. The staff are so kind and hospitable you feel like royalty. The rooms are just what we needed and for the price was expecting a budget hotel but the rooms were very nice and well kept. They bring you anything you need and room service is great. The pool is all lit up at night and very inviting but unfortunately we didn't have time to swim as we were so busy with activities. A/c runs cold and the water runs hot. Right next door is a little bar if you need a nightcap before bed. Always have a game plan because if you walk outside looking like you don't know where you're going, a trike will have you hop in and take you right to a hostess bar. Oops! Security and bellhops are kind and helpful and will help flag down a taxi if you need it. Close to the mall and Smallville which is great fun if you like to eat, drink and karaoke. I will recommend this to my friends and will stay here again when I visit iloilo!

Circle Inn has been my hotel of choice when staying in Iloilo City for the past 3 or 4 years. I witnessed how the hotel get old and quite disappointed that the culture of the people working for the hotel rwas not maintained with the hotel itself. The receptionists and room service staff seem unhappy and less attentive and room service is bad (ordered a sunny-side-up egg but waited for 30min only to end up with a well-done-broken-yolk fried egg). They gave less amenity - no more dental kit, cheap shampoo and soap. Sheets are old as well, but clean. Room is clean but dull. The only plus in this hotel is the reduced (promo) cost per night and the pool.

We had to upgrade our room from a standard room as they did not supply a safe, tea or coffee making facilities. Once we upgraded the room had all the necessary basic facilities. The hotel did NOT supply complimentary bottled water, this is the norm for Asian hotels, that was very disappointing. Apart from the above, the actual hotel had a very nice pool and was in a good location.

Good hotel let down by noisy air con in all rooms

The hotel was pretty ok, we had to upgrade our room as the first one was too small so moved to a larger room with a balcony. It was much nicer.

The only problem I had with the hotel was they use the old style in wall air con and its so noisy I had to take sleeping pills and put cotton wool in my ears.

That was a pity, because the rest of it was fine and the price was good value

A best place to stay when in Iloilo City!

The hotel facility was very good, except for the presence of a lot of black ants in the walls and tables which housekeeping staff said it was because of very warm weather but very bothering. The staff overall were very accommodating and pleasant. Actually this is the second time I'd been to circle inn and my other family members were already a guests when it was still new. I love the hotel and will still come back!

We checked in after a very long journey overland from boracay. around eight hours!
There was no water or juice offered at check in, a simple welcoming idea you would think. Check in was swift and the two girls on reception Friday 11th were plesent. We booked through hotels.com a standard room with preference of a smoking room only to be informed that the entire hotel was non smoking. The standard room was so awfull a view of the air conditioning units was not what we had in mind. We had no alternative but to pay an extra £10. Per night to upgrade to a room with a view.the balcony rooms I must say were much more plesent... Your still not permitted to smoke on your balcony. However the previous occupants obviously broke the rules as thete were cigarette butts on the balcony..we was told if we wanted to smoke we had to go to the basement, which we did obiding by the rules....oh my god we saw so many rats as big as domestic cats. Dont go down there.. I refused point blankly to mix with the rats still im a smoker so I had to resort to standing on the street corner away from the hotel....outrageous way to treat paying guests. The hotel should provide a comfortable designated smoking area.
We decided to use the room service food served cold told no refunds are given

It was okay, but breakfast was not included. we actually paid for breakfast already when we reserve room, but they just told me that we didn't pay for the breakfast. I couldn't go to my room because of that. I called my travel agency again, but they told me that they paid for while Circle Inn denied. I was so complicated and complex. Then suddenly they told me sorry and they found out that we already pay for the breakfast. I already show them a voucher, but they denied. I and my friends were so uncomfortable. We've been waiting there for about 30 minutes to get the answer for that argument about the breakfast and was sick.
Beside of that incident, everything was okay.

Not very good found a bed bug in my bed, brought it to the reception, told the staff I would like to take to the manager, the staff told me she is busy... mmm... a guest has just presented a bed bug and obviously there must be a major crisis going on to prevent her from immediately dealing with this.
When I got back the manager was gone, no note or anything from her just a staff person saying 'sorry and your room has been cleaned!!!"
Check the sheets no bugs.. work up and there is about 15 brown ants on the floor, and another bed bug. Called the front desk and again manager was busy so I told her that I was going to call the local heath board if the manager does not come up and see this 'infestation' of bugs. Manager was at my room in 5 mins. Needless to say no form of compensation. Unbelievable should have contacted the Heath board!

Good value for the price. Great view of Guimaras Island. More modern looking hotel. Good food selection. Filipino food from the menu is good but don't expect continental and american food selections to taste up to par. Open area patio is spacious but it gets hot. Lobby and pool are nice. Air conditioning a little too noisy. Wifi was decent amd considerable better than most hotels in this area. The atmosphere is business like and the evenings are quiet however it's difficult to get a cab sometimes.

Who needs hot water anyway

This hotel barely meets the minimum requirements to justify paying to stay there. Hot water apparently is some sort of luxury in the minds of this hotel as we went 3 days without any hot water. Of course, such an issue could be addressed with the hotel manager --- if they had one. The front desk stated there wasn't a manager on duty and "Maybe sometime this week" the manager might grace the paying guests with an appearance and actually tend to the affairs of the hotel guests. Imagine that.

The internet via Wi-Fi did not work at all. I repeat at all -- none. We placed numerous calls to the front desk about the Wi-Fi but failed to obtain a resolution aside from simple "suggestions" such as "refresh" or "forget it and try again." Needless to say the suggestions didn't work. So we went 4 days without an internet connection except from periods away from the hotel where we could obtain a decent cell phone signal. I can only conclude that communication is not a priority; nor is professionalism or customer service at this hotel. More than half of time we noticed several female staff members hanging out at the desk chit chatting and giggling. Perhaps that's why we couldn't get any issues resolved as they were too busy doing other (more important) things. This hotel simply isn't worth it even at a discounted rate.

Very inept staff. No manager ever available and the staff does not know how to use hotels.com causing many headaches and errors. Pillows matted down and cheap. Asked for extra pillow and upon check out they charged us PHP30 a day for extra pillows with out telling us! In addition the pillows they charged us extra for were even worse! No amenities whatsoever in room. 1 Tiny soap and single use shampoo for 2 people! Strict limit 1 towel per person per day even when the standard in hot humid locations is 2 showers a day. Room service food so/so but very slow and lacking any healthy options. Maybe be ok for an overnight stay but more than a day you will get constant headaches.

We came to Iloilo for the festival and family reasons. We were lucky to be able to get accommodation as everything was booked out. So paying Australian $37 per night our expectations weren't high. How wrong we were - this is a great hotel which doesn't pretend to be anything other than it is - well priced basic accommodation. Sure we would have liked a hairdryer in the room, tea and coffee making facilities and a bar fridge but for the price we are not complaining. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Excellent home base for Iloilo City exploration.

I stayed at this hotel for 18 days, from December 27th to January 14th, in the years 2014 and 2015, and was genuinely impressed at the excellence of this hotel. The hotel staff work exceptionally hard to maintain a high standard of service and quality, they will literally jog ahead of you in order to open the door for you. They are careful to make sure you are very comfortable and well taken care of, and they are also very down to earth, human and friendly. The housekeeping staff, front desk, guard and waiters are all very good. I recommend tipping all the staff, as they are truly worth it and they appreciate it infinitely.

This was an excellent location for my intended purposes, and I was able to visit the Robinson's Mall, SM City Mall, Garin Farms, Roscos Zoo, Atrium Mall, etc, all very easily from this location, securely in taxis for a very cheap fare. It was safe enough to walk home on Friday or Saturday night at 9pm from the Robinson's Mall when we could not get a taxi. All of this was important to me because I was on a leisurely vacation. The heart of the Philippines is all about the malls, and this hotel is perfectly situated near the malls, in the heart of the city center. If you want to enjoy the countryside and scenery I recommend hiring a taxi from the hotel to Garin farms. Overall choosing this hotel was a wise move that greatly enhanced the enjoyability of my entire vacation, allowing everything to come together just as well as I envisioned it.

My wife and I stayed at the Circle Inn for 12 night over the holidays. It is a great value for the money. The staff (front desk, housekeeping , and restaurant) treated us like friends. I liked that the room service costs the same as ordering in the restaurant, which is very reasonable. During the recent typhoon, commercial power was lost, and within seconds the standby generator came on. Excellent. Never a problem getting a cab, although jeepneys pass by within a block of the hotel. This was our 3rd time to stay there. A newer hotel with good rates, good rooms, and and an excellent staff... We are happy customers.

Circle Inn, Iloilo City

The rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant, though, needs a lot of improvement. Their food served is not that good, hence, the pricing is not commensurate to the actual food in terms of taste and quantity served. Its better to eat at the carinderias in front of the hotel. The hotel is just beside a dimly lit neighborhood and street. The hotel facade is itself well-lighted.

Not a great location but still worth it!!!

Staff was nice, courteous and hospitable. Location and immediate neighborhood may not be the best part on town but accessible to most public transportation.

The wifi in the room didn't work well, but the one in the lobby did, hard to work with a client in a lobby. The front desk didn't call for a taxi when it was time to leave.

Good rates, nice pool with jacuzzi, comfy bed

Hotel is a good deal. The location is in downtown area, and I expect to have an old and laidback area. But, the facilities are really good.

I got a very comfy bed. However the bathroom is a little small and you have to pay for additional towels. So when one goes to the pool, she has to bring his own towel, and when it gets too damp, you have to pay to get another one.

Hotel staff are very warm :) Taxi is available anytime.

cozy and quiet hotel

If you looking for a quiet hotel to stay in Iloilo I recommend this place it's not far from the city action and taxis are easy to get. Just don't mind the small shacks next to the hotel. Staffs are friendly and helpful. They do have pool and cafe. Poor wifi connection.
