We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Josun. From the moment we pulled up our car, someone greeted us and help us bring in our luggage.
For the money that we paid, we expected the room to be newer/nicer.
Room needed a refresh - wall had tape on it to seal up possible marks or cracks, paint was peeling off and areas were yellow.
We enjoyed the dinner buffet - large variety of food and all delicious.
The live music/singer in the lounge was beautiful to listen to as you walk the halls or sit in the lounge to enjoy a meal or drinks.
The outdoor area was gorgeous-nice pool and cabana surrounded by palm trees.
It was convenient to have washer/dryers in the main area that all guests could use for free.
This hotel was centrally located near many restaurants and local sites.

Stayed here on my last night in jeju after I did an early check out of the another hotel I was in for it not being clean. Not sure why I didn’t book the Grand Josun the whole time, would have made my trip a lot better. Hotel was beautiful and comfortable. I just hooked a standard room and the room size was nice and had everything I needed to be comfortable. Only thing was they charged for a sun-bed on the roof top even in the evening which I thought was a bit strange. And a little nickel and dimey. But besides that would stay again!

The Grand Josun Jeju stands out with its unique architecture, featuring an open atrium that serves as the heart of the hotel. I visited during the Christmas season, and the atrium was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees and festive plants, creating a magical atmosphere. Live music performances added to the charm, and each floor offered its own breakout space, providing areas to relax and explore.

The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and free from any noise disturbances. I especially want to commend the housekeeping staff for their outstanding job in keeping my room spotless every day. Their attention to detail truly made my stay more enjoyable.

While the pool isn’t as large as those at some other 5-star hotels in Jeju, it was more than adequate, with warm water that made it perfect for winter use.

My only minor complaint would be the corridor leading to my room, which occasionally had an unpleasant smell. This seemed to be related to the ventilation system, as the issue disappeared when it was turned off.

Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future!

Aria breakfast offers numerous options to eat. The hotel is kid-friendly, and the pool was clean and great. Thank you, Josun Hotel, for making our stay fabulous!

Amazing property. We stayed in the Hill Suites and the ocean view room was stunning. Huge room, immaculate and very comfortable. The property is meticulously cared for and us very lux. Had breakfast in both the hotel section and suites and the main hotel is bustling with kids but had an impressive buffet. The suite restaurant served a much more refined sit down breakfast with both western and Korean option. The area around the resort was great to be able to walk around. Would definitely rent a car next time as taxis were cheap but if you like to do things on the fly and find other areas the resort is a little more remotely located. There is a gorgeous golf course on site and a self serve laundry. Which was great to be able to wash and dry a load of laundry after a week. Just go super early or late as the families with kids tend to utilize during the day. If you don’t have kids splurge and stay in the hill suites. Will comeback again. Wonderful property and concierge services were top notch with very good English support.

It is a gorgeous and luxurious hotel with lots of amenities. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. However, there is a long drive up to the entrance. While this gives one the feeling of approaching to the entrance of a magnificent estate, walkability score is compromised. There is however a CU convenient store attached to the hotel for necessities. Parking is free so renting a car is highly recommendeded not just if you're staying at this hotel, but because you will need one to get around to see all the natural sights in Jeju. Also, the restaurants are pricey, but totally worth it. The food is amazing. Definitely try the Hallabong orange shaved ice dessert.

2 thumbs up for this hotel!! grand josun will be a reason to go back to jeju. the hotel has the most polite and friendly staff of all south korea! the facility itself was perfect so nothing to complain about there. we had the big suite room in the new building on the top floor. i traveled with family size of 6 so this room fit us perfectly. the view was breath taking and the big jacuzzi with the perfect warm temperature was amazing to sit in during the cold weather especially with the snow falling! the breakfast buffet had a huge variety of food from continental breakfast, chinese and korean food, even pho! the quality of the food was well above average (much better than the local restaurants). our flight was delayed so we panicked but they were very accommodating. the only thing that threw me off was the age policy. expedia defines anyone under 18 as a minor (as it is per law in the U.S.) but the hotel has it as 6th grade…since my boys were in high school, they were over the age limit of the hotel so there was some price adjustments but again, even this issue was addressed so politely and reasonably that I couldn’t complain. we were stranded in jeju island for a few days due to an abnormal weather but this hotel shaved away a chunk of the frustration we felt. I thank the staff there and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting south korea (yes, it will be a reason to visit jeju island). The price tag is not as friendly, but it’s worth it.

조식은 웨스틴조선과 비슷한 느낌. 서비스는 약간 떨어짐. (예: 다먹은 접시를 가져갈때 아무말 없이 가져간다. 호텔뷔페에서는 그렇게 하지 않음)

객실의 편안함은 만족함.

수영장 사우나 안내데스크 직원들이 불친절. 제일 친절해야 할 공간이나 웨스틴조선 스럽지 않은 불친절함에 불쾌했음. 사우나 시설은 매우 노후화됨. 바닥이 미끄러움.

솔직한 후기 - 추천하지 않습니다.

1. 서비스 - 정문 들어서는 순간부터 친절하지 않은 직원응대.
수영장 직원(성인풀) - 썬베드 예약 안하고 모르고 앉은 사람들, 사진 찍으려고 잠시 앉은 사람들에게도 무안하게 사용 못하게 함.
참고로 저녁시간 아주 널럴했고 그정도 퀄리티의 시설아님.

2.***객실 - 오래되서 깨끗하지 않고 '냄새'가 납니다.
담당자도 확인후 인정하며 시설이 오래되서 그렇다고... 카펫부터 모든 시설이 올드합니다.

이번여행 첫 숙소로 가면서 기대했는데 아주 후회하고 다시는 가고싶지 않습니다.

결론 - 객실, 직원, 수영장 컨디션 별로임

후기

주차자리 갯수가 적고 좁아서 옆에 큰 차라도 있으면 엄청 고생합니다. 성인들이 즐길거리가 별로 없는게 아쉬웠습니다. 루프탑도 공간이 아까울정도로 텅 비어있어서 할 게 없더군요. 휴양지답지 않게 활력이 부족한 느낌이었습니다. 침실이나 서비스는 아주 훌륭합니다. 애들 위주로 간다면 추천드립니다.

편안하고 깨끗한 호텔입니다. 직원들도 매우 친절하고 호텔내 휴식처도 매우 좋습니다. 외부와 단절된 느낌이 장점이며 단점이네요. 너무 더워 수영장을 이용하는데 경쟁 신라 대비 조금 작았습니다. 베드도 유료고요. 사우나는 무료라 아주 좋았습니다.

수영장으로 가는 동선도 짧아서 좋았고 방역도 잘되어 있어서 벌레도 많이 없고 식음도 너무 좋았고 조경도 예쁘고 테라스도 넓직해서 좋고 딥티크 제품들도 잘 사용했습니다. 직원분들도 친절했습니다.
그런데 예전건물이라 그런지 욕실의 환기가 잘 안되더라구요.

다음번에 방문할 때는 힐 스위트에 묵어야겠습니다.

Fantastic family stay

Hotel location is great, lovely in-room amenities.

The pillows were too soft but the team were able to offer foam pillow quickly. Breakfast had a lot of options!
