I chose this hotel as it was not too far away from the ICC where I was attending a conference. It’s about 20minutes walk there or also about 15-20 minutes via the local buses, which is i”very convenient to take as bus stops are very nearby. The breakfast is delicious - traditional Korean with lots of banchan and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and kind even if not all could speak English well. I was a little late for the breakfast ( ends at 8:30 ) but they kindly accommodated me as I was by myself. There are also many places to eat nearby and 2 convenience stores as well. Would come back here again for my next trip. The only issue I had was the flooding in the shower stall whenever I took a shower, as somehow the water took a long time to drain off. Other than that, I was very pleased with my junior suite ( 1 bedroom and 1 living room with a sofa-bed ), and had a mini fridge and kettle with coffee and tea provided.

We had a comfortable stay at Benikea Jungmun Hotel. The location was great, being in proximity to restaurants, supermarket, church, police station, fire station and the parking was 50m adjacent to hotel. The room was spacious, with good amenities, and strong WiFi. The only issue was some rooms smelt greatly of tobacco smoke. Otherwise it was calm, peaceful and leisure stay.

Stayed to attend a conference at ICC jeju. About 20 mins walk from the conference center but if you ask the hotel staff there is a shuttle bus available.
It was a little difficult to communicate in English but otherwise staff were very kind.
There were a lot of local restaurants around the hotel and a convenient store was located just next to the hotel so location was good.
Room was very clean, nice hot shower with good pressure. Also, the hair dryer was strong which I really appreciated.

Comfortable stay

It was a comfortable stay in its deluxe room. Well-heated during the winter. Good place to recharge. Limited spots for the underground parking. Above-ground parking in less than 200 meters from the hotel. We were not sure the location of the above-ground parking so we parked at an unobstructed corner in the underground parking while asking a staff for directions to the above-ground parking. Close to convenience store for us to stock up our supplies. It is located within less than 10 steps from the hotel entrance.

A new, nice hotel near a bus stop in Jungmun

The hotel staff are hard-working and helpful. The hotel is new and the bathroom is top notch, with rain shower and with multi-functional toilet. The room is spotless clean, comfortable and adequate. The location is not on the beach, but convenient for visitors using taxis or bus for transportation. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. Sleep quality is good, without noise problems, even though the hotel is on the main street. The breakfast is semi-buffet style and is very good.

Pleasant & enjoyable stay in Jungmun

Clean comfortable stay. Hotel corridors smelt fresh and was lovely to be in. We asked hotel staff for directions everyday as we did not have a car. They were patient, explained to us in detail how to get there and even printed out maps for us if they did not have it- they found answers!! Every time we came back from a long day of site seeing, they would stand (If they were seated) and smile and welcome us back. Service was exceptional and at par to the service we receive at other 5 star hotels. Room were of a good solid standard with little wear tear. Delux Asian style toilet provided with heated seats. No problem recommending this lovely little hotel.

Fantastic

I wasn't sure what to expect from Benikea - this was the only one of their properties we stayed in during our 3-week trip to South Korea. I was not disappointed - the room we had was the best of our entire trip. As soon as we arrived from the airport (get the airport limousine bus, really easy and drops you close to the hotel) we were met by the lovely Miss Han, who sat us down and offered us Jeju oranges while she did the paperwork. The room was huge, clean and very comfortable, with a great modern bathroom. The bed was so good that it was difficult to get out of it in the morning! We were given a money off coupon for the coffee shop on the ground floor. All the staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful and had good English language skills. A lovely place, and lovely people! I very much recommend this hotel and I just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Benikea Jungmun staff :)

Nice neighborhood with plenty of food

The hotel is not close to Jungmun Tourist Complex. It takes about 15 minutes to walk there. However, it is better to stay away from the resort area, as there are not many restaurants to choose from. Benikea Hotel is located in a neighborhood where you can find food easily. You feel very safe in the area as well, cuz the Police station is right across the road, and the fire station is next to the hotel building. In addition, the service is excellent. Although the receptionist's English was barely ok, he tried his best to give you direction. Every morning I saw him, he nodded his head and smiled. As soon as I stepped out of the elevator, there was nice smell on the floor. The first night I stayed at the hotel, the toilet was stuck. Water did not get flushed down. They fixed it right away. The cleaning lady made sure your needs being met. Overall, it was a good stay.
