We were greeted at check in with a glass of prosecco each before going to the room. The room was a family room which provided a very spacious bedroom and seperate living room with a sofa bed.
The spa facilities were absolutely beautiful and being located so close to the car park for us was ideal. Pet friendly and the area of Bad Reichenhall is absolutely stunning. We would stay in this hotel again tomorrow if we could. Loved it.

What was unique was the peaceful surroundings and mountain views. Staff was unusually helpful, pleasant and polite. Manuella at the desk always greeted us with a smile and deserves 5 stars fro her service.
What I did not like was the hotel has a laundry service for an exhorbitant rate. They should just find a place and install self srvice machines, as then people would plan longer stays there because the peace and tranquility that comes from the mountain views is super amazing.

The hotel was great, as usual, especially the breakfast. Just one thing - I used to be able to charge my rental electric car in the parking garage. This was not possible due to technical issues. The charging station was out of order, with no information as to when this would be fixed. Please fix asap.

Very nice hotel

Overall, it's a very nice hotel. The in-room fridge was not obvious to me and I didn't find it until my second day. No coffee maker or kettle in the room and the machine in the lobby for coffee is not self-service. Good location for the railway station, cafes and grocery stores. Staff friendly and spoke good English.

Location within Bad Reichenhall is good with a short walk to the main shopping area and the beautiful gardens adjacent to the concert hall. The hotel is an older facility but was very clean and well kept. The view from the room is stunning as you see the rugged Alps framed in mature trees. A small balcony added to the relaxing beauty. It was unusually warm in early August. There is no A/C so it made for a little warmer room than desired but not a major concern

First impression: like traveling with time machine, coming back to 1970-s ! General impression: a very , very, very out-of-dated hotel ! Doors and windows seems to be 40 yrs old, door locks with keys, plastic trash bin and wc brush in the bathroom, room refregerator for homes (?!) with deeply frozen ice compartment was totally empty ! Refurbishing needed urgently ! Formally it has all basic amenities for the 4-star hotel, but frankly it is far, far away from the 21st century’s 4-star hotels ! Nice. and friendly staff !

Huge selection of maps and information about trips. 5 minutes from railway station to Salzburg or into mountains. Nice pool and sauna. Bad Reichenhall is a really interesting small spa town with some great restaurants, brewery and keller to eat and drink, and it is very accessible for both Salzburg and mountains.

We had a great stay. The hotel staff is very helpful. Parking is only €7 a night and the parking garage is clean and large. Breakfast is fantastic as is the mini bar selection/price. The only complaint is that when there are too many people connected the wifi disconnects you. That is only a small problem and if you travel to Bad Reichenahall to be connected to the world then you're in the wrong place!

Nice hotel close to town with mountain views

Very nice hotel located in a very nice city. The hotel is updated, has a nice pool and a good restaurant. We only stayed one night, but would stay again if the opportunity arises. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant, which had a nice menu that offered plenty. Our waiter was friendly and spoke very good English. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet the next morning. It had a very good variety of breakfast foods and coffees. There is a beautiful park just a few blocks from the hotel that is worth checking out.

My family loved our stay at the Residenz Bavaria

My daughters (8 and 4) raved about our stay, insisted that we eat dinner at the Residenz Bavaria each night because even my super picky younger daughter found the food so delicious, and my older daughter who loves her home wanted to delay our return because she was so happy at the hotel.

Arrived to find not the hotel pictured in the online advertisement. Front desk clerk was somewhat curt. Went to lunch and in an empty restaurant with ten tables set but 'reserved'. Finally 'directed' to another area by 'Chefin'. She was out rightly rude, made a 'humprf' sound as we tried to order something to drink.
Had a couples massage and salt bath. One attendant very inexperienced, tepid water in giant metal tub. Massage was more like a light back rub and we were treated in separate rooms.
Facilities otherwise fine but the lack of any feeling of Gemütlichkeit or Willkommen.

Hotel is nice but people seem grumpy

It was my intention to stay here and visit Salzburg. There are train connections but somehow it takes about 1 hr by train to get to Salzburg from here. However, if you have a car it is only a 15-20 min drive and quite convenient. There is nothing much in the town and around this hotel otherwise.
The hotel was quite comfortable. I wish the people at the front desk and people in the restaurant would be more friendly. It never hurts to smile and greet. During my 3 day stay, there was only one very helpful and friendly waitress in the hotel restaurant who even bothered to ask us about what we would need and offer options to the kids.

We stayed at this hotel from April 20 to April 26 and had wonderful time. It's a quiet and cozy place, just 5 minutes walk from the main train station and about 15 minutes from a very nice pedestrians only area with lots of shops and restaurants. The personal was very friendly and helpful, especially Lena.

The hotel staff was very nice and on week day mornings there was a member of the staff that was knowlegable of the area. The rooms were clean. The hotel was very quiet. However, in my opinion though the hotel is not a 4Star hotel. The hotel is fairly dated and there were no products in the bathroom (i.e. no soap or conditioning shampoo).

Fine choice for a short stay

Not a bad choice if you're looking for a ~3.5-star hotel not far from Salzburg and Berchtesgaden. The room was spacious and fairly comfortable, and had a nice (but not stunning) view of the nearby mountains. The breakfast selection in the morning was pretty good. WiFi was a bit of a pain since you have to get login information for each device and they didn't give it to us at check-in, but it worked. Minor note: they have some free parking in front of the hotel, but probably fewer than 10 spaces; if you come late in the evening you might have to park in the garage, which was around 7 euros per night when we visited.

Einfach ein sehr schönes Hotel um Bad Reichenhall und auch alles drumherum zu entdecken. Insbesondere wenn man mit dem Zug anreisen will, liegt das Hotel nur 5 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt.
Der Pool und das Frühstück waren auch top und das Zimmer sehr geräumig.
Zudem sehr kinderfreundlich!
Wir waren schon das zweite Mal da und werden sicher wieder kommen.

Im Großen und Ganzen ist das Hotel gut. Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut. Es ist für jeden was dabei und es wird stetig aufgefüllt.
Bei unserer Ankunft war das Zimmer noch nicht fertig, sodass wir es erst eine viertel Stunde später beziehen konnten. Mit zwei kleinen ungeduldigen Kindern nicht so prickelnd. Den Kaffee, den ich mir dann bestellte, musste ich dann bezahlen. Hier wäre es doch schön gewesen als Entschädigung der Verspätung, den Kaffee zu bekommen.
Das Babybett wird mit 5€/Nacht berechnet. Kenne ich so auch nicht von anderen Hotels, aber es war vorher ersichtlich, daher kann man ja selbst entscheiden, ob man es möchte.
Eine Sache hat uns allerdings wirklich gestört. Das WLAN war in unserem Zimmer leider nie vorhanden. Für manche vielleicht nicht nötig im Urlaub. Wenn ich allerdings mit zwei kleinen Kindern Urlaub mache, welche um 19 Uhr ins Bett gehen, möchte ich danach gerne einen Film schauen o.Ä.
Dies war leider nicht möglich. Auf Nachfrage hin, würde es sich der Hausmeister anschauen. Auch hier war das Personal wie immer freundlich, jedoch denke ich eher, dass dies eine Ausrede ist, da unser Zimmer einfach das letzte in der Ecke war und die Verbindung dort einfach nicht gut war. Sobald man nämlich an den Aufzügen war, ging das Internet problemlos. Unsere Putzfee war auch top! Unser Kind hatte sich nachts übergeben und sie gab uns eine Rolle Müllbeutel, falls es das Kind nicht ins Bad schafft.
Die Lage zum Hbf ist sehr gut - 3 Minuten Fußweg.

Everything was great, friendly staff, room, pillows and breakfast. But when I asked for some peanuts together with my beer I discovered that the 2 small handfull portions I received were billed for 3.60 euro's, more expensive then my beer!

Lage ideal für eine Zugreise. Bahnhof und Ortszentrum sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig erreichbar. Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Personal durchweg sehr freundlich. Verpflegung (sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen) leider nur durchschnittlich. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist aber gerade noch OK, vor allem, wenn man auf Angebote achtet.

Schade, dass die Sauna erst ab 16 Uhr geöffnet war, bei Regentagen und ausgebuchtem Wellness hätten wir diese gerne genutzt.

Pleasant stay with some confusing charges.

Some charges such as the pet charge are currently slightly out of date. On hotels.com it claims 10€ a night, in person 12.5€ a night and on the bill 15€ a night. While parking is clearly stated it does seem a little expensive.

The room was quite nice with a very modern bathroom. The view from our window was lovely and having AC is always a plus. Updated TV's would make the rooms even better (bring a hdmi cable or Chromecast).

The restaurant was brilliant both breakfast and dinner there was supprisingly delightful.

The pool and sauna were lovely when quite and the salt room was incredibly pretty with the water dripping down the branches!

Die Hotelangestellten und die Servicekräfte im Restaurant waren sehr freundlich. Zimmer, Wellness/Badebereich und Restaurant waren absolut sauber. V.a. das Abendessen war hervorragend. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Ich bin selbst sehr lärmempfindlich und habe mich deswegen sehr gefreut, dass mein Zimmer und die Umgebung sehr, sehr ruhig waren (schlafen ohne Oropax! Super!)

Das Hotel liegt zwischen zwei Klinikgebäuden am Ortseingang von Bad Reichenhall und die Umgebung ist dementsprechend. Man kann theoretisch zur Fuß in den Ortskern laufen, ist jedoch eine etwas weitere Strecke. Jedoch gibt es genug Parkplätze um den Ortskern herum.
Leider ist die Parksituation am Hotel ein großes Manko. Die Tiefgarage ist extrem eng und es gibt kaum freie Parkplätze zum Ausweichen. Wir haben ca. 10min zur Fuß entfernt geparkt.

Dorénavant quand j’irais à Bad Reichenhall, c’est là bas sans hésiter que j’irais .

Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit. Hotel ist auch kinderfreundlich. Es gibt auch ein Spielzimmer für Kinder und ein Kindermenü im Hotelrestaurant.

Eine sehr ruhige Lage. Man kann ganz schnell alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe erreichen.

Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
