We were very pleased with our overnight stay here. It was just one night so we chose a family room for the four of us, including our two young adult children. The room was exactly as pictured except even more comfortable than expected! The balcony wrapped around two sides with stunning views. We enjoyed the convenience of the little beer garden restaurant right next-door. It was very convenient to get to Bertchesgaten for our morning tour.

The staff at the reception was nice and welcoming. Our room was clean and homey, the bed is really comfortable. The breakfast was great, though some of the pastries wasn’t fresh, but still okay.
Overall great experience, we received a really good value for this price.

Good location, quite noisy, average.

Hotel was nicely situated on the main road, with easy parking. Building quite dated but very clean. Breakfast area very small and busy.
Booked a room with a “mountain view” but was on ground floor with view of a car park and the beirgarten next door. Feeling slightly taken advantage of, this coloured my visit. Lots of noise from the beirgarten and other guests in adjacent rooms.

Enjoyed our stay. Lovely, large room and balcony. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. We had a car with us but found we hardly needed it as there is a bus stop and train station very close and the public transport takes you easily to most popular locations. Downside perhaps was that the hotel is on a moderately busy road so some traffic noise.

Had a room with fabulous mountain views. Rooms are small but efficient. Beds comfortable. Great balcony to our room too. Great location a stone’s throw from Berchtesgaden. Wonderful breakfast. Some traffic noise, but it lessens substantially at night.

Clean hotel with friendly staff and nice breakfast. The room was comfortable and large and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The only issue is that the hotel was at one time deocorated with string lights. These lights no longer work, their cord is visible with broken and missing bulbs, and it appears it has been some time since they were operational. It would seem someone would take them down by now.

Alpine Hotel Brennersbacht is an amazing and beautiful place to stay! The views are incredible and it is a perfect place to stay if you are looking to hike, shop, eat, and explore Berchtesgaden and the area of Obersalzberg, the place is clean there areany amenities and the staff are super helpful and friendly example: we arrived at the hotel and we told them are names etc they then told us that we had accidentally booked a room for two people and there were only two beds, but they quickly fixed our problem and made the an extra bed in a jiffy! Overall an amazing hotel with amazing food events and value would recommend it to everyone who wants to have a clean and well priced stay in the Berchestgarden! Thank you Alpine hotel Brennersbacht.

We woke up every morning and did a weather report as well as a cloud and cow report. The view of the mountain was so special - we loved seeing the cows come down the mountain at night. The sound of the local train and thin walls made it a bit noisy so if that would bother you ask for a room at the back of the building or expect to sleep with ear plugs. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of variety and fresh ingredients. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend to others no problem!

Great start to Germany adventure.

First stop in a weeklong mountain drive through Bavaria and it couldn't have started any better. Easy check-in upon arrival and was told our room would have a balcony with a mountain view. That was an understatement. Balcony was large providing a great place to sit and view the sites in the evening. You then woke up to look straight outside the balcony door to a breath-taking view of the mountains. The daily breakfast was quality and afforded you plenty of whatever you fancied eating. Room and entire property were clean. Located across the street from the Bischofswiesen train station making it easy to get around the Berchtesgaden area. After a long day trip to Salzburg was nice to be dropped off just steps from the hotel. A great experience and would definitely stay there again.

We liked a big room with a balcony with a good view. The room looks a bit dated, but it's clean and functional. The breakfast was good. There is plenty of parking.
The only complaint is that the room was cold when we arrived and the heating seemed to be switched off (it was 1 degree C outside). It was only turned back on in the morning. If I knew that ahead of time I would choose a different hotel

Although it states it is in the town of Berchtgaden, it may well be however, it is a 15-18 min bus ride from the bus station. Not a place I would stay again. The staff were friendly and large breakfast.

This hotel is convenient to the areas I was interested in visiting, Berchtesgaden National Park, Wimbachklamm Gorge and Ramsau.

Nice hotel with excellent breakfast. Friendly polite staff spoke english. It's a quiet village, but has places to eat evening meals nearby. Tourist info right next door, which is handy. Bus stop also on hand. I liked my room. Only thing was a church bell chiming every hour, but that's not the hotels fault.

A Comfortable Place to stay with Great Service.

A spacious and clean room with a nice mountain view. Service was excellent, especially Tim was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast selection was elaborate and of great quality. We highly recommend this Hotel if you are planning to stay in this area. The restaurant right beside the hotel served a very nice dinner.

The property looks great, although some improvements or fixes might be needed: the shower flexcord leaks almost the same amount of water as the shower itself; the elevator could be faster, both for the trip and for doors closure; marked parking spots could result in better usage of the space, especially in the afternoon, when people come to the nearby gastegarten.

Nice hotel

This is a good base to explore the locality. Bischophisen itself has limited restaurants and attraction, but it's close to Bad Richentstall to the north and Berchtesgarten to the south, which are full of opportunities for walking and eating.
The hotel provides a free travel pass to explore these local attractions, which is a bonus.
The accommodation is comfortable and the breakfast good. Handy also for the local pub!

Affordable stay for four people, was clean, bathroom very large. Nice balcony and view of mountains, but balcony furniture was falling apart. Breakfast was good. Lots of construction in the street area, so this made it hard to sleep in if you wished to, since it started early.

Mountain view, friendly staff, great breakfast

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! We stayed 2 nights in the large family suite and although it wasn't fancy, it was comfortable, quiet, and clean! The staff, especially Dimitry, we're all very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was large and delicious too! Oh and you can't beat a mountain view! Definitely recommend and would stay there again!

We stayed one night.
The check-in is quick and convenient. My boy left his toy on the counter and the staff brought it back later, thanks!
The family room is spacious and with 270 degree balcony on which we could enjoy the panoramic mountain view.
Room is clean and linens are fresh, you can ask for a kettle is you need.

The hotel room is very spacious with 4 beds (not cramped), we have a big veranda with an amazing view. No air condition although we did not really need it. Bathroom was ok. The room is clean but the lobby is kinda dark, maybe need some upgrading. Breakfast was ok but the dining area very cramped. The hotel has an adjoining restaurant that only takes cash (so we have to drive to the city center that accepts card). We only stayed for a night after our trip from Kehlsteinhaus. Wi-Fi very spotty.

Le personnel est courtois et le déjeuner est très bien. La chambre est propre et fonctionnelle, mais on voit que ce sont de vieilles installations. La vue sur les montagnes est vraiment magnifique et il est très facile de se rendre au Königsee et au téléphérique Jennerbahn depuis l’hôtel (environ 15 minutes en voiture). À notre arrivée, on nous a remis un accès par courriel qui donne des rabais sur certaines activités et rend les transports en commun gratuits.
