We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The bed was THE best bed we’ve slept in ; in a hotel. The food was delicious, the staff super friendly and courteous. The grounds were just beautiful and I loved all the festive Christmas touches everywhere. I was in heaven. The location cannot be beat, just beautiful! We highly recommend it!

Great place, great location, great service. Only complaint I had was that the WiFi signal was extremely weak in my room (236). I had a lot of work to get through and it was an issue. Also, I recommend that you don’t wear shorts and flip flops for dinner as I got a few sideway stairs :)

Outstanding rooms with wonderful amenities. To die for location at the foot of the alps. Friendly, helpful, gracious staff and top notch breakfast and dinner included. So nice to not hunt for an outside restaurant every night. Oh, and spa was heavenly. The whole place was heavenly!

This is perfect place for someone who love to relax in peaceful atmosphere. At first my husband and I were skeptical about buffet dinner but we were wrong! Dinners were excellent! Room was spacious, well designed. Staff was very professional and friendly. We had excellent time!

This is a lovely spot located in the Bavarian Alps. The rooms are very lovely. We got the package at included breakfast and dinner and the food was wonderful. They have a lovely pool also. Great location to visit surrounding areas like Eagle's Nest. We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it for a stay.

This is a poor value hotel. We had half-board and the evening buffet was edible, but not good. Breakfast, on the other-hand was good. The toilet area was cramped. My wife enjoyed the swimming pool, but overall my impression is poor, because the food is below average even for a buffet. The wi-fi didn't work for 3 hours before our departure.

First, the location is incredibly beautiful. Just a few kilometers from Berchtesgaden, there are mountains everywhere you look.

In addition, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Patricia turned a potentially bad situation into a very good situation by working with us to make sure we were taken care of. She deserves a big, fat raise!

Lastly, the facility is incredible. The rooms aren't huge, but they are very adequate and very well equipped, with lots of little decorating features that make it feel homey. We weren't there long enough to enjoy the pool and saunas, but we wish we had been able to. The food is also excellent. We were fortunate enough to be there for a buffet supper, and I'm afraid we ate way too much. The breakfasts were excellent as well.

Berghotel Rehlegg isn't the least expensive place to stay in the area. But it is very nice and with all the perks the price makes sense. This is a highly recommended place to stay.

Amazing find in the Bavarian Alps!

I can't possibly explain the awesomeness of this hotel! The facility is amazing, they've thought of every added luxury and comfort possible. The staff was super friendly and warm, they really worked at developing a relationship with our family. It's all inclusive, they serve a wonderful breakfast, set out snacks and dessert twice during the day and then serve an awesome multi-course Bavarian dinner all in a beautiful dining area. The fitness room is great, the indoor pool and spa is nice. The setting is like a dream at the base of the Alps with peaceful nature all around. This hotel serves as a great home base to explore the area or to just stay and use it as a spa retreat. This is one of the coolest places we've stayed in all of Europe!

Wonderful 3 night stay

We stayed here for three nights in August that included my birthday and our wedding anniversary. We could not have picked a better place to celebrate, and our stay was the highlight of our 3 week vacation. Our room was wonderful - I think it was considered a mountain view room on the second floor with a small deck. The deck was a lovely place for a cocktail before dinner and also worked well as a place where we could leave our hiking laundry to dry without anyone seeing it ;-) The entire hotel, including our room, was rustic and charming. Everything we saw was nicely decorated and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. One of our waiters very good naturedly corrected my very rusty German. We had a nice welcome when we arrived and the sparkling wine at the front desk was a nice treat. The buffet meals were very good and both my husband (a meat eater) and I (a vegetarian) enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners. The location worked well for hiking. We were able to take the local bus (free with our hotel provided card) to some of the most beautiful hiking we have ever done. We were just a few minutes walk from the church one sees in all the Ramsau pictures. We were also close to a small grocery store where we were able to pick up what we needed for cocktails and for snacks for hiking. We did not have time to use the pool or spa because we had long days hiking. The outdoor pool was small, but in a lovely setting. I did not check out the spa or indoor pool.

Absolutely fabulous Bavarian luxury!

Absolutely amazing from every standpoint. Friendly, helpful staff, incredible food (3 delicious homemade meals a day included), gorgeous setting, over-the-top spa and sauna, very clean and beautiful rooms. We loved everything about it. Traveled with our two teenage daughters and they loved it too. Very close to Konigssee Lake, and the hotel also gives you reduced fare if taking the local bus.

We arrived in this beautiful hotel after cruising across the Atlantic from Florida. The hotel is nestled in the German Alps and it is breathtaking here. The hotel itself is fantastic from our mountain views from our extra large balcony, our very comfortable king canopy bed. All three meals plus afternoon snack is all included. They even provide a free bus pass to anywhere you want to go. Best Best Western we have ever been to.

Friendly hotel surrounded by mountains

From the first minute on I felt welcome. Out wishes were not forgotten, our waitress Uta was the lovelyest person ever, and I can only recommend the massage with Patricia.

The Junior Suite is spacious, perfect for two. The mountain view is so mesmerizing, you can't wait sitting on the balcony. The heated (yet a bit cold) outside pool looks towards all the surrounding mountains.

The hotel is full with tiny details: discover the 3 relax rooms near the wellness area, the tea corner next to the indoor pool (the hotel has its own tea collection with herbs from the area), the backpack in your room that you can use during your stay. The weather was not favourable, so we didn't use it, but you can spend 3 days only in the building without getting bored.

Some things that could be improved:
- I wish the rooms had extra blankets, so that one could sit on the balcony also when it's colder.
- the cleaning staff took put the flowers from the balcony during our stay, and left a mess of soil on the floor.
- once we ordered breakfast to the room, and we got a bit different things than we ordered. More, less, other.
- they wanted to make us pay twice for the room. When I told them that we've already paid via Expedia, they quickly corrected the sum - but it was a shock.
- the gift shop next to the reception doesn't have prices visible for most of the items. You can ask, but it would be nicer to see it right away instead of having to wait unt somebody is free to check.

I didn't use the gym - it is only opened from 8-20 - but it has great equipment.

My husband and I were made to feel very welcome and at home at this hotel and no request was too much trouble ie laundry (at late notice), postcard posting, advice on local attractions and directions.
The hotel focuses on a quiet, relaxed atmosphere providing excellent faculties. The view of the Alps from the main balcony was stunning which we enjoyed early evening after a delicious dinner. The air is clean and crisp and cows could be heard wearing their bells. It really is \"picture postcard\" and I highly recommend the Best Western Plus Berghotel Rehlegg.

Amazing hotel in an amazing location. All staff work really hard to make your stay perfect. Very friendly. Room was huge with windows or balcony in 3 different aspects. We stayed half board and all food (Typically Bavarian) was fantastic with great choice for both breakfast and dinner. Local area in both Germany and Austria has so much to offer for anybody who likes outdoor activities. We stayed 5 nights and wished we had many more. We would come to this hotel again.

A very warm welcome, friendly atmosphere. When asked to recommend restaurants nearby, we were driven into town and collected again at the end of our meal. This was much appreciated given the high location of the hotel on the mountainside. The hotel is surrounded by attractive gardens with seating areas and we were able to sit on the terrace for breakfast. Tea, cake and coffee available during the afternoon included in the room rate. The Lounge area is beautifully furnished with an honesty bar for guests. Would thouroughly recommend this hotel.

Our room was located on the fourth floor of the new wing facing the mountains. Absolutely stunning view from the balcony. The personnel are all multi-lingual and offer a family like hospitality with lots of variety in the dining room. They are installing an outdoor pool and I anticipate the experience will only improve.

Fantastic hotel in amazing location

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel, it was exactly what we were looking for; an alpine retreat with good food, cosy room and surroundings and relaxation (spa, saunas, indoor and outdoor heated pools) as well as plenty of outdoor activities and breathtaking mountain views. This place was all those things and much more. We were apprehensive at first about accessibility of the location, but decided to go ahead with it and found it to be no hassle at all, you can get there via taxi or local bus from Berchesgaden easily and at no great cost (i'm sure they would also pick you up if you asked the hotel directly, they seemed to offer a lot of services).

Lovely hotel in delightful spot.

Our room was very clean no comfortable with many unexpected little extras. Tee and coffee supplied daily, CD and radio provided, bath robes and slippers, everything to make our stay enjoyable. We had a big balcony with the most wonderful view of the mountains, it was delightful to sit out in the evening watching the sun go down behind the mountains. The food was good and plentiful, and drinks were reasonably priced. We hope to return sometime in the future.

Stayed for 7 nights in February mainly to relax in the spa, pool area. Everything was perfect, staff were friendly and the food a delight. We were both vegetarians which was always catered for and dinner/breakfast was a real treat. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was worth the extra, large rooms with extraordinary views. Great location and good for visiting Salzburg and the local area. We will certainly be returning!

Slightly out-of-town - but well worth the few extra km. Calm, relaxed, gorgeous Heidi-style scenery all around. Ideal to get away from city life and chaos. Take a stroll and realize life need not be a struggle! Laid back, but nothing sloppy or incompetent. All staff mild-mannered, patient, courteous, interested in GOOD SERVICE rather than going through the motions.

Perfect for a relaxing get away

This was one of the best hotels we had ever stayed in. Our German was rather limited but the staff were still so helpful and understanding. We had a junior suite at the end of the hotel so it had lots of windows and was bright and airy. The bed was amazingly comfortable although having 2 single duvets was a bit weird, but its just the local way. The food was fantastic and really good value and the hotel itself is in a very picturesque mountain valley location.

The grounds of this hotel are beautiful. The views are amazing. The breakfast is wonderful. The staff are quintessentially German. Sheep are grazing on the hill off the balcony while you eat dinner and watch the moon rise over the mountains and listen to the blue colored river flow by. BUT, there is no air conditioning. SO, it it is summer, consider that. We asked for a fan, but they had no more. It is absolutely beautiful in the area. If it is under 75 degrees, stay here! :)

Lovely hotel in stunning location. We stayed in one of their junior suites and were very pleased with both the room and the view. All the staff were extremely
helpful and friendly, and the hotel owners obviously run a very efficient team.
It was our first wedding anniversary whilst there, and my husband asked to have a champagne breakfast and a dozen roses delivered to our room. The hotel arranged the flowers and kept it a secret from me until the morning!

The food was also excellent - everything you could want for breakfast, and complimentary afternoon tea if required. We only ate in the restaurant twice in the evenings but both times were very impressed. Not cheap but well worth
the money.

We would love to go back again!

Trop grand, c'est l'usine ! C'est très mal agencé en particulier les couloirs pour se rendre au buffet. La chambre nécessite une bonne rénovation. Le jour de notre arrivée il y avait des travaux bruyants dans une chambre à côté, très désagréable surtout dans un lieu où l'on s'attendait à du calme (parc national). Pas de shampoing, il faut le réclamer et on nous donne une petite bouteille plastique, il serait plus écologique de mettre un distributeur dans la douche. Coté positif le buffet varié et bon.

Wir haben hier ein super schönes Wellnesswochenende verbracht. Es gibt einen Innen- und Außenpool und verschiedene Saunen. Das Esse ist hervorragend und das Personal immer freundlich und sehr aufmerksam.

The hotel was gorgeous and it felt like being a special guest. Every detail was thought through and made our stay exceptional. The food was delicious and local and the spa facilities with amazing views. It felt very special and would definitely come back.

Das Berghotel Rehlegg ist ein wunderschönes Hotel mit einer traumhaften Lage. Wir waren eine Woche dort und hatten am Ende wirklich nichts auszusetzen , sodass wir direkt wieder eine Woche über Silvester gebucht haben!
Das Personal ist super freundlich und absolut aufmerksam. ( ein besonderer Dank geht hier an Abraham !! )
Das Frühstücksbuffet, sowie die Mittagsjause und das Abendbuffet war geschmacklich einwandfrei! Wir haben nie schlecht gegessen und waren immer super zufrieden.
Der Wellnessbereich ist auch sehr toll gemacht worden. Super gemütlich mit direktem Blick in die Berge (Sowohl beim Innenpool als auch beim Außenpool).
Die Saunalandschaft ist sehr vielseitig und wunderschön eingerichtet und dekoriert.
Auch die Zimmer waren wirklich toll und super sauber!

Wir kommen wieder und freuen uns schon sehr auf unseren Aufenthalt im Winter.

Die Unterkunft ist in vielen Dingen einzigartig. Das Hotel ist klimaneutral, und man kann kostenlos ein Elektro-Auto ausprobieren. Es arbeitet eng mit Betrieben in der Umgebung zusammen, ist dabei auf Tierwohl und gesunde, regionale Produkte bedacht. Mittlerweile wird eigens für das Hotel ein Bier gebraut, das \"Rehbock\". Das Hotel bietet viele Möglichkeiten, seiner Gesundheit etwas Gutes zu tun, mit Fitnessraum, Yoga-Raum mit Kursangeboten, Außen- und Innenpool, vielseitigem Saunabereich sowie einer Textilsauna mit Bergblick, einem Spa-Bereich, einer Kräuterküche, Halbpension plus (Frühstücksbuffet, Mittagsjause, Kuchen, Abendbuffet) mit sehr leckerem und umfangreichem Angebot. Es gibt einen kleinen Andenkenshop sowie einen Trachten-Laden. Der Blick von den Balkonen, dem Biergarten und der traumhaften Terrasse ist fantastisch. Alle Einzelzimmer sind nach vorn heraus mit Bergblick! Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, manche Angestellten arbeiten dort schon viele Jahre, es freut mich als Gast, wenn ich bekannte Gesichter sehe oder auch selbst erkannt werde. Zu Weihnachten und Silvester werden besondere Aktivitäten angeboten (es gibt sogar eine Verkaufsbude mit Weihnachtsartikeln), die sehr nett und persönlich gestaltet werden. Die Hygiene-Vorschriften werden jetzt in der Corona-Zeit sehr gut umgesetzt, von der Bitte, sein Zimmer morgens bis zum Eintreffen des Reinigungspersonals zu lüften, bis hin zu Aufklebern in den Saunen, die einem den richtigen Abstand anzeigen.

Essen im Hotel recht gut,Zimmer sehr sauber,im
Speisezimmer allerdings Staub und Spinnenweben unter den Tischen,Fensterscheiben sehr dreckig,auf den Tischen aber sehr sauber.Anlage schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen,aber sehr nettes Personal.

Die Lage , die Ruhe und das ganze drum herum . Man kann sich total auf das relaxen konzentrieren weil der rundum Service einfach top ist. Vom Frühstück bis zum Abend essen . Die Zeit ist leider immer so schnell vorbei
