The room was very clean, included breakfast was excellent & the staff very helpful.

Nothing fancy but great value for the price.
The hotel is obviously old but apparently has some remodeling, I stayed in two rooms which were nice and spacious, but the bathrooms were not in bad condition. The caulking around the bathtub and tiles was in poor condition and very badly done, and the bathtub/showers were slippery enough to be dangerous.
Good points were the beautiful pool and dining area and the excellent staff who were friendly and gracious. Very reasonable price including an excellent breakfast. I would stay there again.

I spent 2 nights at the best western villa in Kuta. The staff were lovely & so accommodating, bedroom was comfortable for 1, and the pool area is beautiful and was very quiet during my stay. I ate all 3 meals at the restaurant on site and the food was delicious- the complementary breakfast had plenty of food options! Where my room was located it backed onto an alley way so there was some road noise at night (but nothing that was too terrible). I would recommend this hotel to others & really enjoyed my stay :)

Decent hotel if you need one near the airport. The pool is really nice and the staff were SO nice and helpful! They let us leave our luggage there after check out for quite some time since we had to go sort out SIM cards. My only complaint is that the bathroom felt dirty and there were stains on the walls as if a bird had gotten in and pooped on the walls in spots. Beds were comfy though and a/c was decent.

Had reserved a queen-size bed 3 weeks prior to stay, but they have no more rooms available on the actual day :(

The traffic outside the hotel is horrible. It takes forever to get out of Kuta area :(

There is no shelter from lobby to our room, had to get drenched during raining times. Also, rainwater is collected on the room entrance. No proper drainage system to drain out the water, thus easily attracts mosquitoes :(

The main room door cannot be locked and cannot be shut tightly. There will always remain a small gap, this allowing outside mosquitoes to fly in. :(

The toilet door lock is spoiled and cannot be closed properly too. The toilet door is translucent, causing the outside people to easily see the people in the bathroom doing business there :(

The restaurant is very slow in service. Ordered only 2 main dishes and there is not many customers during our time of order, yet it took more than 15 minutes to serve :(

The reception is not communicating and not working well with the spa team. The lobby reception asked us to book a time for spa with the spa front desk at 2nd level. The spa front desk asked us to book the spa through the reception. Pushing from one to another, in the end we did not manage to book an appointment for spa :(

Fortunately, there are also few plus points about this hotel. It is very near to the airport. The bed & pillow are really comfortable, the TV has too many Hollywood movie channels and the buffet breakfast food taste great :)

The property is very close to the airport so it is very convenient to stay if you just need a hotel for one night while you sleep. For $26 it is hard to have a large complaint of any kind, but the property is not clean. When you touch things like the remote control or the light stand or the breakfast table, you just get that grimy feeling like you need to wash your hands immediately. This is a solid two star hotel, and for a very good price. It is what it is, right by the airport and very convenient.

I had hoped for a relaxing stay

I had booked four nights at this hotel because it was convenient to the airport, the beaches of Kuta and I liked the photos online. Unfortunately the hotel put me in a room that was noisy and uncomfortable. Later they told me I should have booked a room with one bed. They did eventually move me to a much nicer Villa room for the last night but this was after two nights of bad sleep after which I checked into a hotel around the corner to get some rest and a better breakfast buffet. I'm sure I would have enjoyed the stay much more if I had had the better room to begin with. Still there was a big difference in the two rooms for one hotel. Overall the facilities were not as nice as the photos, especially the pool and the dining area. I would however recommend the Villa room which was comfortable, private and quiet. It came with a refrigerator. There are two buildings to this hotel and I was in the back building first, then I was moved to a Villa room that was off of the pool and was much quieter without street noise and hall noise.
The staff were very nice and so was the assistant manager when he understood that there was a problem.

I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay if you are wanting to be close to everything but out of the hussle and hussle of Kuta. Top work team!

Best Western? More Like Worst Western!

The service was slow taking over 8 hours to make up the two rooms that were being used in our corridor. The food was not great and for the premium price they charge you deserve more.

I particularly liked their buy one get one free cocktail deal in which they just doubled the price of the cocktail from the menu price. Cost of one s__ on the beach? $4.5 buy one get one free price. $9.0 staff spoke minimal English and either pleaded ignorance of outright ignored our feed back.

I stayed there five nights. . . I won't get those 5 nights back. But maybe I can save you.

A quiet hotel near the airport

It is a quick 10-minute ride from Denpasar airport (Rp25k) to this ornate but modern and well maintained two-story / two-wing Best Western hotel offering great convenience, security, comfort and value for (relatively) small money.

There is a beautiful swimming pool and (apparently) a spa for your first or last Bali-style pampering. Rooms in wing-1 (behind reception) have a unique \"outside\" bathroom and patio area (sounds odd, but it works!). Rooms in wing-2 (to the right of reception) are identical, but with a conventional enclosed bathroom with an outside patio (smoke in comfort). Fluffy pillows, fresh linen, ref., toiletries and quality bath towels complete the experience.

My only complaint is that there were ants scurrying around the hand-basin; apparently addicted to the taste of cleaning materials.

The breakfast buffet is terrific and the restaurant menu is extensive, with exotic daily specials. I ate outside along the street where there is a good selection of restaurants in the immediate area. Enjoyed a final Bintang beer and cigarette, while sitting just outside the local convenience store.

Ah, the Bali life-style! The Best Western brand! Great!

We feel that we got a bargain, staying here. The biggest issue was the hot water not working, but we were promptly upgraded to another room. The service has been outstanding. We are still in our room due to an ash cloud from Mt Rinjani and the staff have been really helpful and settling during this process. We feel very safe at this hotel. We are in walking distance of many ammenities, but not directly in the party district. If you don't mind 20 minute walks or 5 minute taxi rides to get to waterbom, discovery shopping mall etc, then this place will work for you. The food is good and reasonably priced and the buffet breakfast got well used by me and my fiancé. The pool is nice and the swim-up bar is useful. They let us eat finger food there.

Near airport but not close. In Tuban next door to a mosque which was annoying to start (noise of call to prayer) but quickly didn't notice it.
Nice large hotel with good pool and surrounds including swim up bar. Nice staff with varying levels of english.
Double bed in room was very hard and uncomfortable. Single beds in kids room were comfortable.
Restaurant was good as was supplied breakfast but it was very repetitive for such a long stay.
Worst part was airport transfers included. Failed to arrived start and end until significant badgering of reception even though verified bookings made with ample time. nearly missed flight home (quite annoyed) and had to wait in the demanding transport throng at arrivals at the airport.
Short cheap taxi to central Kuta but allowed you live away from hustle and bustle.
Would recommend a stay here especially Agus on the bar - a ripper bloke

On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by very helpful, friendly staff. They had offered us a room update prior for no extra cost, we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room complete with a plunge pool! The kingsize bed was extremely comfortable and a good nights sleep was had by both myself and my husband. The room was cleaned every day and the sheets were changed daily as well which was lovely. This is a very quiet, comfortable hotel and is certainly good value for money?

The front office manager extended my stay for a day charging the same price as this website and upgraded my room because my boat trip was cancelled.I was upset and it was my birthday!!! Dont get the basic room!! Get the room with the plunge pool or the villa room!! The regular room is NOT too nice!! I am not crazy about the location but it is close to the airport and has a great staff . The pool is also pretty nice!! I would stay there again

i booked the hotel only a week or so out after making an error on my arrival date and realising we needed a night on arrival.

The hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport but as we were arriving out of its service hours a reasonable fee was applied.

My expectations were quite low for the hotel, but I figured for one night we could rough it and in the back of my mind I thought the Brand might be the saving grace.

Well talk about delightfully surprised, the room was beautiful, the hotel wonderfully appointed. Our breakfast by the pool very enjoyable. I noted a free shuttle service to local areas.

In summary, I'd think it would be a great budget saving hotel for 2-3 days to base yourself and explore the area. We'd happily return.

Third stay in last 6 months. First time I stayed I had very little to complain about so I booked 2 more stays . Second time I visited I had noticed a marked drop in the food standard and some lack of room maintenance . Third time was terrible. I had several maintenance issues which after a while i had decided to tolerate as i had a few partially rectified and i was just over it . I had to jump a large puddle at the entrance as the was no drainage. I has a sink that barely dribbled water , a fridge that didnt work (the replacement) and a bathroom door that would not stay closed unless locked from inside. The food was terrible to say the least ( and i wasn't the only 1 complaining about this). The pool bar still charges the most for drinks of any place I visited in Bali , That is - presuming there was someone to serve them( In 2&1/2 hours i was able to get 1 drink ). I was also billed for the drinks of other peoples whom i had been talking to. The only constant was the wonderful friendly staff , who through no fault of their own were under enourmous pressure due to lack of numbers and experience.

Location is good and there are several eateries nearby. However, the grasp of the English Language of the staff members should be improved. An even more glaring issue is that of the wifi connection in the rooms. It was virtually non-existent throughout my stay of five days. Each attempt to feedback the problem to staff members was met with a question of whether I keyed in the correct password. But the connection could not even be established far enough to require a password. I ended up bursting my prepaid data sim card.

Nice big clean rooms. Very polite and friendly staff. Nice pool and the pool bar.
Only downside, our sliding door to the outside space was jammed. Could not open or close it.
Restaurant food is average. Stick to asian / indonesian food.
Although overall the hotel is nice, in a quiet neighborhood away from the craziness of kuta.
Would like to leave a bad review for hotels.com though, they advertised that the hotel offers free upgrade of room upon check in. But when asked by the hotel, they had no information about this deal. It seems Hotels.com does false advertising sometimes!

Got upgrade as original room too far from reception and upstairs with no lift. Cockroaches in room 1st night - asked for clean out and no problem thereafter. Sdervce at dinner very slow. I had to collect menu, ask twice for bottle of water and started and main course came at same time. Food reasonable and price good. Not nice neighbourhood- dump across road, demolition site.

Good for short stay

The hotel facilities were good: pool and the restaurant. The room was basic but comfortable. However the washroom in our room had mould all around the bathtub and as a result there was pungent smell. Since we were staying for only half a day we decided not to go through the hassle of changing our room.

Good quiet hotel.

The hotel presents itself as comfortable and quaint. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the only problem encountered with the staff is they don't all understand the English language.
The room needs to be cleaned more thoroughly everyday- attention to detail, and the overall service is too slow, and they need to put in fridges in the room not have coolers. It has all amenities.
Other than that, it is a good little place to stay.

Bestwestern kuta villa stay review

On arrival staff seemed nice and helpful, but when I rang to get room service it took about an hour to arrive. Then it was about 8 hours before I had to find someone to give ťhe plate too. There was only 1 bar which opened at 11 and was the only place to get cool beers, not cold. The room fridge couldn't get anything cool, bottles of water couldn't get chilled. I rang to have some clothes laundered and waited about 2 hours for nobody to come, so I had to call again to get someone to finally come pick up my washing. Which changed my plans for the evening. The plunge pool was good but very very small. I was disappointed at breakfast that there was no bacon, the toaster took 4 runs both side to toast bread and no butter or margarine to spread.

The four of us thoroughly enjoyed staying here . We had a few minor problems but the staff and value for money made this bearable. Also the upgrade to a ground floor deluxe room ,free of charge,due to 1 of the party unable to ascend steps was extremely appreciated. On occasion there was a mild sewage smell and the local music at breakfast was annoying .

Business class hotel close to airport

This hotel fulfilled our needs. It's close to the airport with clean rooms and reasonable facilities. Good pool with swim up bar. The hotel staff are friendly and try very hard to please. Breakfast could offer a bit more variety. Free transport several times a day to drop off points near major shopping areas in Kuta strip. You can also be picked up from those same points at agreed shuttle bus times. Fast and efficient book in / out. The hotel is a little out of the way if your thinking of walking to the beach or discovery mall, that being said it is relatively quiet.

Hotel staff are all helpful and friendly. breakfast was good though as vegetarian there is not much variety.
the surrounding is ok but can be improved, the water retention along the pathway to the rooms need to be taken care,
