The staff were super polite and the pool was great for the kids, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It served as a pit stop en route to the airport for a late flight, but it was too noisy to get an afternoon sleep in, balcony floor was rotting and unsafe, the small aircon struggled with the humidity and making the floor super slippery, and despite booking for four people and giving notice of 3pm arrival we had to wait 30min for room to be ready and there were only towels and beds for two. We just wound up going to the airport early.

Close to the airport. We walked one mile, rather than paying $21. Huge room. The white bed cover was stained (my only negative comment). It was perfect for a few hours of sleep since we arrived at midnight and left the next day for Ubud. They need to separate the smokers from nonsmokers, since the smoke was blowing on us.

The property is in a poor area of Tuban, but it near a cinema and modern supermarket as well as the airport which was good. The hotel has an institutional feel rather than a private ambience. It is good for transit visitors and business people but not for long term holiday makers. The pool is spacious, but in permanent shade.

The rooms need a good cleaning. Floors need to be swept and mopped on a daily basis. Bathrooms need a good scrubbing. There is mold in the bathroom. The AC system is a joke, they just dont work. The property itself is run down. The staff is the only pleasing thing this property has going for it

bad location! next door to a military base.loud speakers early in morn! muslim koran music on very loud speakers blarring every couple hours! horrible food that wouldnt feed to my dog ! never seen one person in restaraunt! and only thing i need in bali is a pool bar as it said in brochure! and no pool bar so was devastated! been to bali 7 times and was hands down the worst hotel iv ever stayed at! staff couldnt even get me ice and our fridge couldnt even fit a 1.25 ltr bottle of water in it! so i now understand the 30$ a night fee but if went back! wouldnt stay there again if they payed me 30$ a night! i wish i had 4 hands so i could give it 4 thumbs down!👎👎👎👎

Quest Kuta were amazing. I used a transit room. Best decision I made. It was awesome to relax and shower before a late flight. Awesome pool area for relaxing too. Some really nice restaurants close by too and so easy to get to the airport. They offer transfers. Loved it and would do it again.

We arrived around 1:30AM, even though I had pay for the room in advance, the hotel canceled our reservations. Since we had no where to go at that time, we had to get a room there. They charged us four times the original amount. The room was disgusting and unclean. The toilet was beyond gross. Stay away, far away from this place.

Quality cheap hotel near the airport

I spent a night at Quest Hotel Kuta after arriving in Bali on a late flight. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the free airport pick-up service is a definite bonus. The room was a little tired-looking, but clean and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was also excellent. I'd definitely recommend Quest for a well-priced hotel near the airport.

Decent if you can get past the stains.

There was so many stains in my room - even on the curtains. The bathroom was fairly nice with some grime and the showerhead was a bit wonky. Liked the staff and the layout but the rooms need a huge makeover.

I checked in late at night at 11 pm having prepaid my stay and the night staff did not have me booking and fooled around for 30 minutes trying to locate it.
The room offered smelled very badly of cigarette smoke and again there was a lot delay to find a second clean room - by this time almost midnight.
CAUTION most Indonesian hotels allow smoking in their rooms - smoking or non smoking does not seem to make any difference so always make sure that the room has not had a smoker in it.

I chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the airport. That was a mistake. The sound of the evening call to prayer from the local mosque and the surrounding lack of amenities and perilous footpaths made my stay memorable for all the wrong reasons. The crowning glory on this was the so-called breakfast in the restaurant. The tea & coffee were stewed past recognition, I paid extra for a fresh coffee that was undrinkable. The food was uniformly awful. I decided that you couldn't go wrong with toast, only to find that the butter was rancid and the jam was basically red sugar jelly.

I only stayed 1 night in this hotel as it is very close to the airport and has a free shuttle. I highly recommend it not just for short stay. Central, free shuttle back and forth nice room, good free breakfast and a nice pool area. I found this hotel extremely good for my purpose on this trip and would use it again.

CLEANLINESS: ok. had to ask to change the sheets. the walls had a few stains. looks like they didn't clean the bathroom between turnover: shower stall, toilet, and sink area were all dirty. Water didn't drain easily either.
SERVICE: staff speak english, but they are slow. asked twice to change our sheets. three times to get our overpriced laundry back. called a few times to get in contact with the spa, but had to personally walk to the 6th floor to get info. free shuttle 24 hours to and from the airport. also a free area shuttle to the mall.
AMENITIES: wifi was great. they said they had stocked fridge, but all we had was water. they had toothbrushes, but all the other stuff appeared to be half used or not re-stocked. they have an onsite restaurant, breakfast was sufficient. we also went for dinner, prices were reasonable, but they ran out of the food choices we wanted on the menu.
LOCATION: kind of in a sketchy area. there is a 24 hour convenience store and a few restaurants within walking distance (maybe 5 mins or less), but there are locals hanging around, asking for money, which is a bit awkward. we just kept walking. luckily the hotel was near the airport.

The pictures on the website are deceiving. I was disappointed with the hotel and the room and i would not book again. There are better options, in a better neighborhood and comparable price. I was expecting what i saw in the pictures for the price i was paying. Use googlemaps to view

We had a late flight in and didnt want to travel to our villa through the night. Pick up from airport was prompt and transport car was roomy and cool. Very close to airport, 5 minute drive.

Staff at desk were friendly and polite.

Room was cool with lovely bed linen.

The bathroom was large, the shower area was a bit worn with cracked tiles with mould but at such a price I was not expecring a perfect room.
In summary a good room at a fantastic price and would stay again.

Great Hotel in Gili Trawangan

We booked three rooms and checked in after a short boat ride from Lombok. The hotel was very easy to find and we were checked in with a minimum of fuss, though the staff needed to check their 'checkins board' before they figured out where we were staying. We were welcomed with a cool glass of orange juice which was great after our short walk in the afternoon heat.

The rooms were excellent with novel outdoor bathrooms (sounds strange, but they are excellently done). The guest information booklet was written well, in excellent English.

Gili Trawangan is small and Tir Na Nog is right in the middle of the main thoroughfare so we were in the middle of the action. Wednesday night at Tir Na Nog's bar is Irish Night, which they warn about in the information booklet, advising that the music and partying may be louder than usual. We had no problem on the Wednesday night we stayed.

We opted for the inclusive breakfasts, and the menu for this was excellent. There are both completely price inclusive breakfasts, or paid breakfasts that are discounted for guests.

All in all, a very satisfying stay with well equipped comfortable rooms and helpful, courteous, friendly staff.

One minor complaint is that the wifi seemed to have some issues after the first night, but as I was using cellphone data it didn't impact me a lot.

Was our first Hotel in Bali. We arrived late at night (1.30am) and were picked up from the Hotels free Shuttleservice without any problems. Just let them know e.g by email.
We stayed there for three nights. Very comfy bed, nice staff. Helped us with booking a scooter. Food was good When We had lunch there. The Location is a bit away from the centre, but there is an ATM and supermarket near by. We would recommend this Hotel!

We had absolutely amazing stay at Quest Kuta. We stayed twice for 3 days and would gladly come back. The rooms are absolutely huge, comfy, with hot water, strong shower, balcony, big TV, good channel choices... Location is only 20 minutes long walk from Kuta beach, discovery mall...there is free shuttle if you don't wanna walk. Staff are super friendly, ready to assist with anything you need. We left our luggage there while having a week long trip in Amed. Definitely worth a stay if you don't want to be in the middle of noisy Kuta hustle and bustle.

I recently travelled through SE Asia, using Bali as a hub for several over-night excursions, and I stayed at Quest Hotel Kuta everytime I passed through Bali. The staff is amazingly nice and accommodating, the rooms are super clean and modern, the restaurant is reasonably priced and relaxing, and the free airport shuttle is a nice bonus. Just make sure you give the front desk your arrival information before you arrive (and it also doesn't hurt to call them from the airport when you get there). I highly recommend Quest Hotel Kuta.

Bit of a Mixed Trip to Bali

Firstly, this is a good hotel with basic amenities but for a clean room, a decent breakfast this ticks the box. Room was cleaned each day, fresh towels, toiletries and water provided each day which was nice. Another positive was the location to the Depensar airport, only 5 minute taxi ride away. Unfortunately that is all I have positive to say about this hotel.
The location is pretty poor, down a very busy street where walking 400 yards takes 20/30 minutes due to the constant hassle from tourist salesman trying to entice you into a tour or rent a bike, or just full pavements covered in mopeds so you cannot pass. As soon as you step out the hotel, the smell from the street hits you theres local street food vendors everywhere. This seems to obviously be somewhere where tourists do not seem to venture often. Being white seemed to fascinate the locals and attracted a constant stare at myself and partner which was getting pretty annoying by the end of our holiday.
We spent one day at the hotel, however the pool area is quite small and only allows for 4/6 loungers however we seemed to be the only guests so wasnt really an issue. There seemed to be more staff than there were guests in the hotel, however nobody really came and spoke to us to ask about our holiday. People would say \"good morning\" then walk off.
The restaurant was average, there are constant cats walking into the restaurant and Im really allergic.They were scrounging for food, but nobody seemed too bothered. One night we had a meal in the restaurant, however we were the only people there. Same music playing in the background constantly was getting quite annoying and the lack of atmosphere meant we never returned. Also watch out for the prices......there are posters everywhere advertising there menu and prices, however when you actually pay the is a 11 government tax and a 20 service charge on each dish.

I've stayed at the Quest twice now, and have decided it will be the only place I stay while passing through Bali for now on. It is close to the Denpasar airport, has free shuttle service, and breakfast is included for a reasonable price. You can find western grocery stores, local and international restaurants, shopping, and entertainment all within walking distance of your room! If you're looking for more nightlife and tourist traps, stay somewhere else. If you're looking for a comfortable bed and convenience while in transit, this is the best option!

The hotel has all the bare bones to be ok. Staff seem to try but no management or direction. Appalling breakfast with the only thing that was consistent the temperature of the food...COLD. Rooms new and modern and if they were cleaned properly would be OK. Nice touch the grey towels (use to be white?) nicely frayed most of the way round.

We stayed here for 1 night passing through from airport to Gili. Very good location from airport (150,000 rupiah taxi ride). The staff was friendly and helpful and the food for breakfast was very good and plentiful. We did not use the pool or really explore at all as we checked in at 2:15am and left for Gili at 8:15am. However, the washroom was apparently defective somehow as the floor tiles and sink we very wet (leaking). The most disturbing part were the stained sheets and towels but they had clearly been washed. I have come to learn that stained towels appear to be the norm in Bali!

the only complaint is there do not have a clear location for non-smoking people.
Imagine how bad is it when you travelling with a baby and someone smoking beside you.

Nice location close to airport

Cute hotel. Toom was super jhot when we arrived. Called for service they came right away to correct. Pool is beautiful and breakfast was good. Very very very nice staff.

Had booked in for 5 nights.
Due to late arrival stayed the first night. Facilities fairly basic and too faray from the beach.

last time i made a reservation for my friends. At the date when they made check in, the staff said that the room is under renovation and they will give room in another hotel which is suited with theirs. In fact the given exchange room is out of expectation and really bad.
I think the hotel can made a confirmation before the check in date and said the room is not available !!!

Conveniently close to Denpasar airport

Only minutes from the airport, this hotel is a good option to rest up for destinations further away in the island, like the north coast. It is also not far away from major shopping in Kuta like Lippo Mall or Centro/Discovery Mall.

Nice hotel but had a bad experience

I would have rated this hotel 4 for the clean and spacious room, friendly staff, but I had a bad experience of being transferred to another hotel in the middle of my stay, where the other hotel turned out to be a downgrade with cramped space and poor lighting/facilities. I booked for 5 days in Quest Hotel, but on Day 3 they said they are fully booked so they are transferring us. I think the management should seriously consider people's experience and carefully manage their bookings.

Photos are deceiving!

Booked this medium rate (both in $$ and star rating) hotel for a short R & R with friends, picked this hotel based on its appealing photos and pictures as described to us through Expedia. Expedia messed up my booking, no shuttle bus transfer from airport to hotel, vice versa (only for a certain number of operating hours per day), pool is only open to guest from 9 am to 6pm each night and their spa facilities have only got a shared double room!

Room ok for transit

We stayed in this hotel for one night as it was close to the airport and we had an early flight in the morning. They provide a free airport transfer which was handy. The bed and room was clean and comfortable. The only problem was we were in room 202 which was near the lift on the first floor and it was very noisy with people talking loudly, doors slamming all night long, road noise as well. I would not stay here again or at leasr ask for a room on a higher level away from the lift

good value hotel close to airport

Reasonable one night stay, walls a bit thin if neighbours are noisy as ours were, breakfast ok but nothing special.
But for the price its overall good value.
