Great location, staff were super friendly and really great value for money, the room was basic and facilities could use a little updating and freshening up. We used the room as a base to wait for our late flight. Heaps of food options, shopping and close to the beach. For value this place is a 10/10

Pool closed. Dirty bath towels no face washers or hand towels. Restaurant closed without any notice. Staff not very helpful when addressed these issues as the said no management or supervisior on premises. Overall was glad we cancelled the first part of our stay there on got another hotel which was alot better. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms are run down with mold on the walls and ceilings, balcony handrail rotted away,cracked sink in bathroom, ceiling mouldy and leaking on you while sitting on the toilet, limited choice at breakfast, roof top pool deck dangerous loose with jagged wood sticking up if your not very careful you can slice your feet or worse, no cushions on the sunbeds no umbrellas, you have to go down to reception to get towels, bar not staffed, recetion area is clean and welcoming but thats where it ends.

DO NOT STAY HERE, THE STAFF IS EXTREMELY RUDE. THEY GO THROUGH YOUR THINGS AND STEAL. WHEN I BROUGHT UP THAT I WAS MISSING MONEY AND JEWELRY OUR OF MY SUITCASE THEY SAID WHY WOULD I LEAVE IT IN MY SUITCASE OUT IN THE OPEN AND NOT IN THE SAFE! MY SUITCASE WAS PUT AWAY ANS ZIPPED UP, THE ONLY WAY TO GET TO WHERE MY CASH WAS YOU WOULD HAVE HAD TO OPEN MY SUITCASE AND GO THROUGH THE POCKETS INSIDE. IT’S AN DISGUSTING HOTEL I WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!

Hotel is very OUTDATED! WAC makes loud noises and since I was on the ground level floor I can hear noises coming from all directions of the hotel, all the fixtures were rusted and broken. The bed mattress was uncomfortable the middle of the mattress sunk down. There were lots of open gaps in the ceiling surrounding the lights and vents I felt like someone or something could’ve been peeking thru.

the pool area was very dirty during the morning hours when me and my group went. the a/c in my room didn't work and they wouldn't help us out after repeatedly asking them to, so i had to march to the lobby to demand a response, so finally they moved us to another room where the a/c worked

The staff are fantastic. They were very attentive and pleasant, really excellent in trying to accommodate our needs. The hot water wasn't working in the bathroom even though they came to fix it 3 times. Also, my daughter cut her foot on a broken tile in the swimming pool which ruined one of our afternoons as she wasn't able to walk on it. The chairs in the pool are looking pretty tatty, you should just recover them and the pool area will look 100% better.

Was not ideal for family trip. Location not what I wanted to show my little one in Bali, but then again he was not interested in going to the water park after all. He did like the pool here, but that was the only thing. Really messed up as far as cleanliness. Was not cleaned after last guest. Was very appalled. They sent us to yet another room that was in the same state maybe worse. The bathroom smelt of cigarettes and as my son remarked \"floor still wet from last guests.\" We nearly left. However they said they wouldn't refund, AND we had already waited hours to have everything settled in.

Convenient but Beware of Smelly Pillows

Walkable distance from the airport which was useful when we arrived as we were too tired to haggle over a taxi which would have been overpriced anyway! Our stay here was pleasant and it was great to have access to a pool on site and to the beach a short walk away. Free drink on arrival was ice tea which was fine for me but my other half despises tea so I had his too as the hotel wouldn’t agree to offer an alternative. Breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. The only real downside here was the fact that all of the pillows smelled horrendously sweaty...they definitely need replacing!

Hotel was okay. The rooms were very basic and in need of some repairs. The pool floor, needs major repair and the lack of loungers for the size of hotel, needs to be looked at. It was okay for our short stay and we had our kids in a connecting room. Do not think we will stay there again.

Value for money

Hotel is on Katika Plaza Road close to Lippo Mall. Room was clean, lovely hot water but we didn’t like the little bugs that appeared on the floor during the night when the light as turned on - otherwise the hotel was fine. Breakfast was basic mainly cater for Asians although you could order a omelette or scramble eggs. Will not stay there again.

Ok if on a budget or part of an asian tour party as this is who the hotel caters to. Description on Expedia is so far from correct maybe someone needs to correct this, that said if the money was spent on maintenance this could be a great Gem with everything at their doorstep. Focus here is on money not looking after guests so I would not stay again nor recommend to friends or Family.

Nice hotel but poor etiquettes. No water, No towel inside room. Air-conditioning was also not comfortable. but outside vibes and local areas are amazing. walking distance for your all needs.

Service was ok and they provide everything on demand but no sleeper and toiletries assessorial items on even request.

Can't expect a lot as it was quite cheap. Some initial issues with elevator, no towels in room and couldn't lock balcony door (but maybe there was a \"trick\" to it that I wasn't aware of), but all issues were resolved very quickly. Breakfast was basic but fine for the price. Very good café lattes. Staff warm, friendly and welcoming. Kettle in room with tea bags & sugar, but coffee would have been great. Very comfortable beds but only one pillow - an extra one would have been even better. Overall OK for the price and close to airport & Lippo Mall shopping centre/cinemas.

Continual harassment by outside people by calling my room phone. 6 times over 7 days.These vendors were timeshare, travel and restaurants. At no stage did I give my name out to anyone outside the hotel.

ON three occasions I have advised reception not to transfer calls to my room and advise all staff but it continually happened.

I hae stayed at this hotel many times before and never experienced problems.

Good hotel - clean, comfortable beds, convenient location, and good wifi. Only negative is that there is construction work going on around the pool, so not only can you not use the pool due to noise, but if on one of the upper floors the noise will wake you quite early (8-ish).

Outside my room door it smelt so badly of sewage, the pool was down for maintenance. The room itself- the power had to be flicked on manually at the switch board, the room wasn't very clean and the air con (even set on the lowest mode) was hardly blowing out air.
I understand you get what you pay for but I went to sleep and got out of there as soon as possible the next day!

Worth the price you pay

Nice hotel at a cheap rate. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a hot buffet breakfast every morning and you can request how you want your eggs cooked. It is about 2mins walk to Lippo mall and further down the road, you can enjoy the entertainment, bars and restaurants at night and also labelled/fixed shops too. Everything seems to open late in the morning (10-11ish) as Kuta is open till late. The decking around the pool was being upgraded, however we still had full use of it and the sun bather beds and bean bags. Great having showers up there as the pool is on the roof so you get all day sun. A bit annoyed that our airport transfer driver didn't advise us that the people dressed up standing with him weren't part of the service to carry our luggage so lucky we didn't get ripped off and we had to pay them a tip. Overall, enjoyed our stay

Booked in 1st night.Very small room for 2 people.Fridge not working.Toilet leaking.Water basin leaking.Very dirty under fridge.Roof top pool, very cloudy.Ground tiles broken very dangerous.There were workman working on roof,cant help that but made pool area very dusty and dirty.Pool very cloudy.No service at pool.You have to ring staff to get towel for pool delivered to room.Asked staff 3 times about fridge,nothing done.Breakfast buffet very unexciting.Booked out immediately.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was great and AUTHENTIC. It's a newer hotel and there is still some construction going on, but it didn't bother me one bit while I was in my room or using the pool. Don't stay here if you're looking for a 5 star resort but if you're looking for a nice, relaxed, authentic experience, book here, you won't regret it :)

Stayed at this hotel for twenty eight days and booked another twenty eight more nights. My room (no. 509)was on the fifth floor and had a great view. I could see the sea from a distance and the lovely roof tops of the local villas. Having been to Bali before, I choose this hotel for its location. A minute away from Lippo Mall and ten minutes from Discovery Mall, this small suburb called Tuban is great for getting away from the tourists in Kuta and has the best small beach with luxury resorts.The beach here has white sand (the locals call it german beach) which I prefer to the brown sand at Kuta beach.The Hotel is wheelchair accessible and my father uses a wheel chair. There are two elevators. On the sixth floor is the terrace with a swimming pool which has a shallow end for children. The pool has views of the street below but not the sea or the sunset. The whole terrace is being renovated and a roof bar is being built. The pictures look great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My room was cleaned every day and even my dishes were washed, great! Only thing missing is a refrigerator but there is a minibar with a freezer. The room size is medium, not too big nor too small. A big plus is the tv with the sixty channels. Movie,sports,kids and news channels are all available.The rooms have nice big windows that start from the floor. This was really good cause you can look all the way down from your bed.

The first answer I received at the reception was that the room I booked was already taken out by other customer. Secondly, the room I was given was still occupied. Basic hotel but worth what I payed for.

We had an overall nice stay at the Tusita hotel. The place was clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Short walk to the beach. Surrounded by shops and restaurants. We paid only 60% of the full price so we were fine with what we got. Breakfast was ok but not worth RPH75.000. No pancakes or cereals for kids. The service was very good though.

We enjoyed this hotel for it was exactly what we wanted - cheap and close to the airport. Its basic but very clean and well run. The pool on the roof is small but hey, its a pool! The breakfast was the only disappointment - very little Western choice - just juice, fruit, toast and an omlette. Lots of Chinese/Indo cuisine. It is a 20 min walk to the airport, and also to the beach. Lots of eating places, market shopping and massage parlours close by! Can't go wrong if this is type of place you are looking for.

Stayed here with 3 friends whilst travelling around Asia, overall it was good value for money. The staff were friendly, our rooms were regularly cleaned, the beds were the comfiest beds we've stayed in since travelling & the shower was amazing! It was also close enough to all the clubs and nightlife, there was also a variety of restaurants to chose from. We were however very disappointed with the pool (which was the main reason we booked here as the pictures looked lovely). It didn't look anything like the pictures & there was lots of work constantly being done so when trying to relax by the pool all you could hear was a drill. Food also wasnt very nice, I had a soggy pizza & a not very nice carbonara.

Room ok, bathroom needs good clean! Mound, calcium and rust build up.
There appeared to be nicer rooms, but we had issues with flight and arrived a day late, therefore room was last minute.
Pool on roof top very nice, showers by pool didn't work.
Not really close to anything, mall down the road very average, best thing was Starbucks!
Bed was quite comfy.
Played radio directly outside room, noisy, but may have been to block out the street noise or other guest noise.
Lots of construction going on across road and around.
Wasn't super cheap, ~$50 for the night, feel like we paid a bit more than it was worth.
Hotel food order for room service was really good.

Stayed 4 nights in deluxe room (standard). Staff were very friendly and accommodating although unable to get early check in. Great location as its about 20 minutes walking to the kuta square (city center). Room was rather large. Although nothing special, the layout was good and the bed was comfortable. The TV was also good sized modern flat screen. Complimentary water was provided and room was kept clean and tidy. There is also cattle/cups provided. The shower is very nice as well as bathroom - good size and good quality of finish. Only thing is hot showers dont last long. Rooftop pool is GREAT! not too deep and is rather big. also the whole area is well set out with tanning beds and shower facilities. We had breakfast included and it was great value. Mostly Indonesian food but variety was there and it was tasty. Would defiantly rate the hotel well and recommend / come back! Amazing value for money.

As usual a good base for our Bali trips

As usual a very nice stay. Terrific location next to new Lippomall, cheap massages (50-60K per hour), warungs and cosy garden and beach restaurants around the corner on Jl Wana Segara. Rooms are large, breakfast is tasty and staff are friendly. We like to use this hotel as a base at the beginning (or towards the end) of our Bali trips, because of it's location and closeness to the airport. Pool area could do with a few umbrellas.

The day we arrived we had 3 rooms. We changed because;
First because the bed was dirty and second because a a family dad was smoking in the room next door and the smoke came in to our room. The door between the rooms was not sealing at all and we could easily hear them speaking. We ended up at ground floor in a room that felt like it was under ground.
When we arrived I was very disappointed. The hotel is located right on a busy street. The breakfast/dining area is open out to the road and is very noicy. There is a constant stream of motorbikes, taxies, cars and lorries.
Luckily it's not to far to walk to the beach about 15-20 min. But its not good for swimming on the near by beach so you must walk another 15 -20 min to get to the Kuta beach.
I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel!

Pleasant budget hotel

The hotel is rather new, so everything is working as they should. The room space is acceptable. The bed is comfy and the roof top pool is rather unique. The breakfast could be improved, but it is sufficient for the price. Wifi is available in the room and the speed is rather good.The hotel location is at the beginning of Jalan Plaza Kartika Sari, so it is about 20 minutes walk to the Kuta Beach stretch. But the street is filled with restaurants, bars, Balinese massage centers and shopping malls. So you won't feel the distance as you are distracted most of the time. Lippo mall is just next door. So you can do your shopping for groceries as a hypermart is located in the building. Across the street is Nasi Padang stall, so that can take care of the halal food needs. Overall we like our stay at the hotel.

Impromtu visit

Overall was ok except for request for smoking room didnt follow up.
Another is on the ventilation which is directly above the main room door. suddenly there was a sound coming from the ventilation. We were curious. We did stand near the ventilation and saw a rat dash thru the pipes above.

Located in Kuta but away about the buzz and hassle

Located near the beach and very near to the airport. With some international food brands like 'Manhattan fish market' 'starbucks' located just a few steps away... If you are looking for local delicacies, I found a 'warung' nearby (to the right, after the corner) located on your left - can't recall the name though... That serves excellent Mee goreng and etc.
Surely won't mind staying again if I'm to stay in Kuta for my next visit.

Value for money hotel

The Tusita is a basic hotel located in South Kuta ( Tuban), it is on the main street and near the new shopping center. Furniture is basic, rooms are spacious, but bathroom could be cleaner. We did not use the pool. Breakfast was very basic, not having many choices of western food, cooked food was only Asian. We would stay again if the price was so good as this time and only for a night, it is good for transiting, first day or last in Bali.

Good value for basic accommodation

Well located close to Lippo Mall with Hypermart.
Good sized but basic rooms. Comfortable beds, walk in shower, free wifi, hair dryer, elevator. Leaky fridge, very \"hit and miss\" air conditioning. No hot water in hand basin and no hand towels provided. Breakfast was very disappointing and practically non-existent most days - mostly rice dishes, vegetable and porridge, although eggs and toast available from the kitchen. Staff always very pleasant.

Basic modern hotel near airport

5 minutes to Ngurah Rai airport, this hotel is suitable for transit - not so much for a holiday as not much to see or do nearby, not much restaurants or nightlife. more suitable to business

We checked into this hotel for the day as we had a late flight. We arrived at 12 but we're not allowed to checkin until 2pm we later found out the hotel was only 10% occupied.
We couldn't open the door to our room as the key card wouldn't work - a staff member used his and let us into a room that was bare and stank of cigarette smoke.
We requested a change of room and were shown to a room which would be fine for the day. The room didn't have opening windows the bathroom was barely big enough to turn around in and could have used a good scrub.
We noticed the fridge was missing items and low and behold at checkout. We were told to pay for them.
The only good things about this hotel were the bed (very comfy) and the airport transport driver.
Don't stay here there are plenty of other places for the same price or less that would be heaps better.

Easy airport access

We stayed at this hotel right after landing in Bali. We chose this hotel due to the proximity to the airport and to a church we were going to. The hotel itself is good and well maintained. The rooms were spacious and clean. I liked it as a temporary stay but would most likely not there there for a long period as I prefer more quaint hotels. The pool was great on the rooftop. The view from the roof is nice. The staff was helpful although we had a hard to have them give us 2 keys for the room (a tip did it...).

Great For The Price

Stayed here for only 12 hours in between arrival in Kuta and flight out. Walkable to much activity and food and malls, kind friendly staff and free airport shuttle are the only 4-star ratings. Our sheets (did not sleep) were dirty and the sink leaked. We heard nearly every step and sound from the hallway outside the room, BUT, for what we paid and what we needed it was totally fine. I would not stay here long term, but if I needed a one night for arrival or departure, I would not hesitate.

Just okay

After spending time in Gili Trawangan with friends, I found myself alone in Bali for four days before my flight took off. I booked the Tusita Hotel based on the price and it's 3 star rating. After staying in a homestay worthy of maybe 0.5 stars on Gili T, I was hoping for a bit of comfort and air conditioning.

Overall I feel like the Tusita was just okay.

Location-wise, it was actually quite a walk to Kuta Beach (maybe 25-30min). It's pretty close to the Waterbom, if you have kids. There's a pretty sad and empty mall, Lippo Mall, about 1 block away (it does have a hypermart in the basement if you wanted to buy groceries).

The restaurant was decent. I ate there once and had the hamburger, which was surprisingly good and under 50k rupiah. The rooftop pool was nice, but the entire pool was pretty shallow, which seemed odd to me.

The room itself was clean but bare. It was fairly large but there wasn't anything to fill up the empty space. Where there might have been a small coffee table with chairs, there was just empty space. The air conditioning worked wonders and the bed was clean and comfortable.

My experience with the staff left something to be desired. They were not entirely friendly nor helpful. When I requested the free airport taxi, they said okay but later called my room saying I had to pay 30'000 rupiah. I explain to them that I was promised a free shuttle, and they said okay. I feel like they should be more organized and figure out who has to pay and who has a free ride before bothering their guests and demanding money.

In the end, I don't think I will stay here again. Although the price was fair, and the rooms were clean enough, I would rather pay a bit more to be in a better location and with friendlier, more attentive staff.

The hotel was ok. I booked through Expedia and had a bit of trouble checking in . She wanted to put me in a room with a twin bed-said she didn't have anything else . I told her I had booked a long while ago and would not take that room. She took about a 1/2hr. & finally gave me a room with a King size bed. The room was clean . It maybe wasn't in the best location-overlooked the fans for air conditioning. It was located in a good place-could walk to lots of good shopping & Kuta beach

Good. Price ok

Tidy. Probably needs a paint touch up soon.
Maybe newer furniture when renovate.
Needs no smoking in lobby and food areas.
Needs more shade up by pool
Needs cleaner pool
Needs towels at pool area
Needs maybe a chair and another piece of furniture in rooms and more clothes hangers.
Overall pretty good. Not amazing. We paid 43000 including breakfast.
Breakfast is excellent. 5 stars.

Great Value for Rate

It's a nice hotel at a central location in Kuta, very close to the new mall with all its shops and close to restaurants, bars and beach. We especially enjoyed its vicinity to the airport and the free shuttle from and to the airport as we only stayed there twice for one night each. The rooms are okay and may need a bit more of maintenance. Still, you get a great value for their rates.

Surprisingly excellent

Very friendly service, comfortable rooms and beds, thoughtful management providing kettle, safe, hairdryer and even a power adaptor. Breakfast buffet not huge but good variety of very tasty quality dishes. The location is better than reported in other . It's an easy and pleasant walk to Kuta centre along Jl Kartika Plaza or even along the Beach. Big new shopping centre next door has opened, but not finished yet. The hotel has really great position. Hint: 50 metres back to Jl Wana Segara, where you'll find a large selection of well priced spas and restaurants. At the end there is a beach and a lovely hidden garden restaurant with sunset views. We dined at SA café & club several times, gorgeous garden setting, good food and half price beer.
