The manager was kind enough to provide free airport pick up as we had requested it as we are loyal customers he was kind enough to provide it and also gave us an up grade to a Villa room which was good as most of the deluxe rooms are out of service due to heavy rain which had flooded the rooms. The Rama is in the process of refurbishing their rooms which really needs it big time. The room we had was refurbished and was clean and comfortable.
Tha staff are amazing. Kind helpful courteous and warm. Customer service is exceptional.
Sadly the pool was closed due to flooding which was a dampener! But out of their control.
Would recommend this hotel. Amazing staff.

From the very beginning to the end, I can say it was a perfect stay. From a warm welcome at check in, to guides of the resort, enjoying the restaurant and spas, I can say I will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Bali. As tourists from New York, we didn’t really spend too much time at the room, but I will appreciate how clean house keeping kept it every single day. Thank you to each and every one of you at Rama Beach Resort and Villas and I hope to be back one day!

My flight was due to get in very late and I wanted to stay somewhere close to the airport. I got in around 1:00 a.m. and there was staff there to greet me. Everybody was nice and kind and very helpful. I felt safe. The breakfast was good and these surrounding area was very walkable

It’s a run down hotel. The rooms need refurbishment. The cupboards on the fridge don’t close. The tiles are broken and a few insects get into the room from the doors.
The breakfast use to be fantastic but now average. The staff at reception need training. We have been a valued customer for many years. Been staying at this hotel

Is 10 minutes away from the airport and they wanted $20. When I pushed back they eventually accepted hut e damage was already done. They offered a free return an I said I don’t need the return just needed the pick up and the first answer was NO.
Very disappointing but they have now accepted the pick up
And we will pay for the return.
The deluxe room has a bath shower. Very dangerous when getting out so please be careful if you have knee problems or are elderly.
The war we’re from the bath leaks onto the floor as well as they have curtains over the shower.
Very run down but has potential.

Room was spacious and had everything i needed,was also so quiet and peaceful at night.The gardens and pool area were beautiful and never too crowded. Staff were lovely, very helpful and polite. Such a beautiful place, with lots of trees and plants. The room is old style but kept well and very clean, beautiful furniture. We got upgraded for a bigger room because they didn’t have the room we booked, which was nice! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Back for the 4th time!!!

Our 4th time staying at this oasis in the middle of busy Kuta near the airport. We usually end our Bali trips here for some R & R and be close to the airport for departure. We had a little villa with our own plunge pool and huge room and bathroom. Very private. The large pool is awesome with both sunny spots and shady as well. The swim up pool bar is always a hit for us as are the bartenders and servers. The dining room offers a wide variety on the menu, and the breakfast buffet offers western, East Indian and Asian items. It is huge. The spa is very peaceful and a good value as are the rooms. We love the staff - very warm and helpful. And the beach is just a block away if you have the desire. Plenty of shopping as well. Don't miss this gem.

This is the 3rd time staying at the Rama (the last time was over 10 years ago) and it’s always been a pleasure. The room was clean and comfortable, close to pool area and gym. The breakfast buffet was ok.
The staff are amazing! From front reception to the kitchen/restaurant, pool attendants, garden maintenance, spa ladies, every single one were genuinely warm and friendly.
We stayed a couple nights, with one day being Nyepti, so we stayed inside resort, which didn’t bother us as the hotel atmosphere was so relaxing.

Wonderful stay, beautifully appointment villa with private plunge pool. The pool is quite small, but perfect temperature with a good ledge, lovely to sit and read in to cool down!
The staff are wonderful, restaurant and buffet very good, main pool is nice with a swim up bar. The spa is exceptional!

The only thing we disliked was the music many days was blaring with the boom boom sound and there were very few people around the pool. Nice soft music should be played as many people were just relaxing and even sleeping. The cleaning staff for our first week was hit and miss - no towels, water, toilet paper - after that the staff was great. The restaurant staff were excellent and the pool staff were so accommodating.

The property was great. Only problem was check in. I booked a booked a deluxe room. I got given a standard which was horrible. I queried it with word on line. No answer just my booking changed suddenly to a standard room booked. Luckily I was able to change rooms at an extra charge. But next time I’ll screen shot the whole booking. It was shady that word suddenly changed my booking to a standard room after questioning it and no response at all from wot if.

We had a villa with a private pool...the only way to go! The room was huge and nicely decorated in a Balinese/Inddonesian style, the bathroom was also large. Canopied king bed was comfortable. Pool was delightfully warm. The staff were so very friendly (this IS Indonesia!). The only 3 star rating i would give would be for the buffet breakfast...a little underwhelming. Everything else was superb. Short walk to Jerman Beach in Kuta and very near to the airport.

The Rama Beach resort is very rundown. The rooms need refurbishing. The furniture is old. The fall apart when opening. They fall down. There’s a mould in the room. Cockroaches that we found. The cleanliness needs to be improved. Just needs refurbishing and it would be a nice hotel. Shower is dangerous. The shower is in a very high bath tub and the water runs all over side onto the floor. Air condition was leaking. On the positive side the breakfast was very good. The staff are very friendly. The pool is nice.

Loved the location, there are very good restaurants nearby. Didn’t like that they upgraded us without asking or informing us from a hotel room to a villa room, that we didn’t want. Breakfast buffet was really not good, and we had to go out to have breakfast despite having paid for it while booking the hotel. Staff were generally ok, the sense of they feeling happy to serve guests was completely missing l. They were just doing their job. Overall, average experience of staying here.

We booked this resort as we had a late arrival flight and were travelling to Ubud the next day. We weren't expecting a lot as we chose the resort mainly for it's handy location to the airport.

We were seriously impressed! Despite it's proximity to the airport and hustle bustle of Kuta, this resort sprawls deeply back from the road, with beautiful gardens and pools.

The room (Deluxe King) was spacious and comfortable if a little dated. The bathroom wasn't great and had a bit of an unpleasant smell to it, but we only had to put up with it for one night.

Breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly and helpful, the price point was very affordable, and overall I feel this resort exceeded expectations.

There was signage that a room revamp is imminent and when this takes place the only issue of outdated rooms will be addressed.

Would stay again if flying in to the airport on a late flight.

Stayed in their garden view villa. The hotel location is very convenient with eateries and small convenience stores. The compound is nicely designed and a nice calm ambience to it. Staff are friendly and helpful but I had to remind them about the extra person setup which was not ready upon checkin, reminder sent on housekeeping as well. Would recommend stay for its nice spacious villa, great breakfast buffet and good location.

This property has been a favourite for many years. However, upon our arrival, we encountered a delay in accessing our room as it was not yet ready by 2 pm. Meanwhile, we were informed that we would be upgraded to a villa located on the other side of the property. It appeared that there was a possibility that our cottage had been requested for an extended booking beyond the 3 days we had initially reserved.
A minor problem.
Aside from this, we had a pleasant three days and enjoyed dinners at Envy and Anvaya.
The staff are always great especially Putu who has worked there for many years..she is probably the reason many people keep coming back.

Good location in south Kuta. Few minutes to beach. Traffic heading north anywhere is worse than ever so to be considered if venturing out.
Large resort. Renovating rooms but without any disturbance to guests. New rooms will be beautiful.
We stayed in a garden villa which will most likely be next on the reno list. They need an update but were large, comfortable, good beds and good bathrooms in good condition still.
Limited dining options. A walk to Envy or on Kartika road will fix that.
Good pool and pool bar. Deepest pool in Bali Im sure!
Grounds are lovely but need more regular upkeep, Only my thoughts after this recent stay.
Reasonable value for money in comparison to many other places.
Met some great people.
I'd stay again.

Be aware Bali in general has changed and is forever changing.
I've not seen over tourism like this in Bali in the 15 years I've been going.
Ive not ever experienced traffic as bad as it has become until this trip this year.
Keep in mind it is still high season and the best weather.

We stayed in a Suite Villa with pool and hoped to get the best of a holiday in a villa whilst being in a hotel. This isn't quite how it worked out, as whilst the villa was lovely, it didn't have it's own cooking facilities, and the fridge was a mini bar. So if you enjoy villa holidays it may not be the best choice, but it was still great, and the staff were always very helpful.

The staff were amazing and went above and beyond with any requests. The property is close to the airport, but it felt pretty secluded when you walked on to the resort. They were extremely flexible, our flight was at 11PM and we paid a small fee to check out at 8PM which made that last day in a Bali a full day.

We found the neighbours very noisy ( talking on telephone between the hours of 11.00 pm to 11.45) due to the noisy rooms which echoed through the walls and ceiling.
Also the costs have gone up so much guests are buying goods over the road and bringing it back to their rooms. Service fees and taxes are making it too expensive to eat or drink at the resort

Room with pool is great. Very private and romantic. Great location to get down to surf.
You cant hear the planes.
Only downfall is breakfast buffet needs a bit more attention. Items where at times cold or soggy. Pasteries were not daily fresh. Never really switch things up. Servers where great and atmosphere very nice.
