The beach was very dirty, with trash everywhere—even a floating diaper. If you’re looking for a beachfront experience, I wouldn’t recommend booking here. The pictures are misleading and don’t reflect the actual condition.

Holiday inn Resort is located in a nice spot. Close to airport and in a quiet spot of Kuta. Great food choices between Envy and Palms restaurants. If you are an IHG member, you get 20% off the food bill. Staff are very warm to deal with and always happy to assist which makes all the difference. Loved watching the sunsets from the hotel. You also get access to rooftop pool and the viewing deck at Holiday Inn Express which has amazing views. Thank you to all staff for making our stay comfortable 🙏. If we visit Bali again, will definitely stay here!

When we arrived in Bali we were greeted by Melly at the reception desk. Melly was so pleasant and helpful. She explained all the amenities and helped us transfer to Holiday Inn Express next door for a second night. She offered us free breakfast and a shuttle return to the airport the next day. The resort had a beautiful pool area, two great restaurants, a wonderful spa and easy access to the beach.

This is the place to stay. It’s not the cheapest but for what you get, the price is incredible. The staff are beyond amazing. No request is too big, they are always happy to help with a smile. Sure, the pool bar stools have seen better days and they could use a new billiards table. But the experience as a whole more than makes up for it.

The hotel is very clean and the staff works very hard to maintain everything. And the pool just has a vibe. So much so that we went on a tour and had a chance to stay at a famous infinity pool for the afternoon and chose to come back to the Holiday Inn. Food and drinks are also well priced- again, not the cheapest, but the quality is just amazing.

And the all you can eat breakfast buffet is unbelievable!!! If you eat at Palms restaurant, do have the black rice pudding, it’s not what you would expect and it will blow your socks off.

We are definitely coming back.

One more thing- it’s very family friendly too and the family suites are amazing. List of fun for the kids and privacy for mum and dad.

Overall a good place to stay with kids. Have a small outside playground, kids club, gaming room (extra charge) for older kids. Staff is just amazing, very friendly and helpful. (Not all speak English but they call for assistance when they don’t understand you). Hotel is open plan and extremely noisy when people walk and talk outside the door. Hotel is a bit outdated and needs to be renovated especially bathrooms. Food was good, we had 2 dinners and breakfast every day. Walking distance to lots of different food places, couple of small malls and the waterpark. Located on a public beach which is very dirty and is not for swimming. A bit pricy for what it is

The staff were amazing. We stayed In the Villa which comes with its own butler and Indra and Teguh made our holiday fantastic. The Villa had a huge private pool and is enormous. The food at the resort is really good and there are many restaurants to choose from.

We stayed in the king beach Front Room. 2 adults 1 child aged 7. Beds were very comfortable and the room had great views overlooking the pool and beach. Service and hospitality by all staff was amazing, they all make you feel welcome and go out of their way to accommodate and they are great with kids. Shout out to Denny for being great with our boy (again, all staff were good) Very family friendly. Great location close to the airport and walking distance to shops/ markets. Food was amazing at the Palms restaurant within the hotel. We will go back :)

Maikel was very polite and friendly with an amazing ability to remember my name even after several days of not seeing me!

The food at breakfast as well as food ordered through room service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was huge with fresh food restocked throughout the 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM time slot.

The room was clean. Public areas were clean. The staff were friendly and considerate.

Beware, however.... The ad photos show a pristine beach. It's not. Lots of garbage. No private beach area. No beach lounge chairs or beach umbrellas.

Overall, it's excellent, but more like a three or four star hotel rather than a five star rating.

Booked Room type was not given. Obstructed ocean view. Room TV was not operational. Bathroom washbasin cold water tap was leaking.
Despite of TV and Tap leak reported, nothing has been fixed. Rather cold water was shut completely and only hot water for brushing and shaving.

Loved the entrance to the lobby and loved the staff at holiday inn baruna, on our 1st day of holiday we meet micheal from reception he was a big help for setting up the esim for us , plus the kids party every week , was good and IHG members cocktail party on the lawn every Wednesday. The staff is extremely attentive and personalize your experience daily. The resort is great for kids. The kids room is wonderful. There are so many kids on the property that your children can make friends and the staff play sports with them. They have activities and kids parties near the pool in the evenings. Recommend with children! Having the children entertained makes the parents vacation stellar as well.

We are very pleased with our stay at Holiday Inn Resort Baruna! The resort itself was beautiful and well maintained. The family room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed days at the pool and all three meals at the hotel’s restaurant. The food, options, and accommodations for food allergies were wonderful.
We really enjoyed the outdoor bbq and fire show at Envy. Above all what made our stay memorable was the incredible service. All the staff is attentive and very friendly which is why I would recommend the Holiday Inn Resort Baruna!

Good food at restaurant however you can get cheap meals outside of hotel.

The hotel hosted weddings on both nights of our stay. It was like we were sleeping at a night club the base was so loud till 10pm. sound testing during the day which meant our 1hr massage at tea spa wasn’t relaxing. Also the grass area was a construction site for set up during one of the days.

The bunk bed room was perfect for the 2A and 2k.

The buffet breakfast was amazing lots of options western and Indonesian and Indian so there is something for everyone
The outstanding people in the hotel is the high light of the hotel everyone is very friendly and helpful the offer the help without even asking even in the buffet breakfast they offer to get you anything

The only let down we had dinner at the breakfast restaurant which was very bland in the taste and very small portions for the price we did not enjoy it at all.

There are 2 pools, a pool with a pool bar and a kids pool side to side

The hotel not offering any entertainment
They have kids club we didn’t use, they had table tennis and pool table

The hole is only like 5-10 minutes away from airport the street where the hotel is is full of shops cafes and restaurants, supermarkets and massage all walking distance with the same street and close to 2 shopping centres walking distance about 1-2km

I really appreciate the people in this hotel for their smile support and willingness to help at any time

Out flight arrived early around 10:30am our rooms were ready and we checked in straight as we arrive no extra charges thank you

In our last day or flight was late at 7pm they allowed us to check out at 1pm and stay use the pool until 5pm and offered us to take a shower and change at the spa before we leave
Our air port transport was offered free by the hotel, we will come

The staff is so nice. They make us feel super welcomed. The checkout time is 11 am but our flight is 11pm. They even gave us a temporary room for free to stay. They also have the complementary taxi pick up and drop off to the airport. The kids love the pool and games. Hotel is super close to waterbom. We also like hotel Envy restaurant and deserts from Palms. Really recommend this hotel.

We were presently surprised with our stay, the room was nice and big, I requested a rollaway bed and the staff delivered a really comfortable bed very quickly. The staff were so efficient.
The food was great, we loved the restaurant by the beach, great food, the Sunday night DJ was great.
We are a family of 4 from Perth and loved it.

Impressive property very much suited to families with young children, beautiful buffet breakfast with a huge range of food options, great kids club and attentive staff in all areas.
Room was cleaned daily and was immaculate.
Lovely food in both restaurants 24 hour room service.
The spa is outstanding and still reasonably priced.
Easy access to beach and beach path with Kuta an easy 20 minute walk.
Big grassy area for kids to run around play football two swimming pools and pool bar Laundry service and gym available ( however I did not use these services)
Airport transfer available.

Hotel was great. The staff was super nice and helpful. Things could be taken care of beeter in tge room, but you do t spend much time inside so its not a huge deal. Food was excellent and breakfast buffet was always good with tons of options. There is a beach/bike path right in front that you can use to walk all along the beach and go to the mall and hotel restaurants. I like the hotel so much, it is my second time there this year. Highly recommend this hotel.

Convenient location close to airport, hotel offered free airport transport as part of our room rate. \"Ok\" if all you want is a room / shower / pool for a few hours before (or after) a flight.

This place looks like a nice bunker for people who are afraid of exploring the island. The staff is nice and always ready to help. The pool and gardens look very nice and the resort is clean but there is non-stop background pop music being played by the outdoor pool which doesn't make it a relaxing place. Bedrooms are spacious and clean but you hear everything that happens outside your room (people walking by, talking, kids playing, people pushing/pulling a cart,...). So again, not relaxing. Last but not least, I ordered food delivered to my room twice (dinner and breakfast) and the food was either bad or very average. I was expecting much better from this type of resort. If management could find a way to create some \"quiet areas\" and also reduce the noise outside of the rooms it would make a big difference.

We love our room 6102, it’s huge, clean and the most important thing is the AC works properly.
There were odd situation when the radio suddenly would turn on at around 2-3 in the morning. It’s odd but nah probably it’s timer. Someone needs to turn off the timer.

Just the best place to have a family holiday. I went there with family for my 40th birthday and I have zero complaints to make. Everyone was just so lovely, the food was exceptional, the swim up bar was awesome, the general cleanliness of the hotel and grounds was above amazing.

We enjoyed our stay so much, when we come back, we will not go anywhere else, period!
