Room was good (great AC) and clean.( some things are showing their age like the flooring. And decking around the pool.) Staff were great. Friendly and very helpful. My main complaint was the rationing of certain breakfast foods. The fresh/specialty coffees were limited to one per
Person. Bacon one per person. Butter only given if requested. The food was good but very limited in variety with repeat menu every other day it seemed. Otherwise there was still a lot of value for the cost of staying there.

This is a great hotel, with access to ajoining resort. The hotel is a little tired, but still clean and modern. a great option if you want all the benefits of the resort next door on a friendly budget. The staff are great and the included buffet breakfast is fresh with many options. Most afternoons we had the pool to ourselves - if we wanted more fun we just went next door into the resort. If staying here go across the road to the Vietnamese Warung - it is the BEST food in Kuta - so bloody good and cheap!

We really enjoyed our stay here and found the location really good. Not right in the heart of Kuta but not far from anything. It was a little quieter which was appreciated. It was also a great surprise to find out we could also use all the facilities of Bintang resort aswell.

Very pleased

I stayed here for 10 nights another a tour of Indonesia. I was very please with the hotel. The breakfast was great and changed things every day. My room safe was not working so I went to the front dest to report; when I got to my room there were people to changeout my safe (not repair they replaced) in 15 minuted. Amazing. The room I had was good size with a desk and great closet for travellers. Great layout.

When we checked into our family room there was a strong stench of mould, not long after we found where the mould was & notified staff. They didn’t have another room for us so had to stay in there the night before they could change us. New room wasn’t much better. Had paid for 3 weeks. While there my whole family got unwell at different times. Wouldn’t recommend. Breakfast buffet was also very average we hardly ate there

Liked the location. Had a dedicated floor to non smoking. Great being able to use Ramada Bintang facilities and very shot walk from one building to another.
Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel should consider placing centre handrail on pool step. Would go back for another stay. Stayed 7 nights.

Great place to stay in Kuta. Rooms were clean and tidy, quiet area of Kuta, away from the hustle and bustle of it all but still walking distance. Great little warung across the road if you don’t want to go far for food.
I can see why people complain about the noise from other rooms, if you are around noisy people you can definitely hear but didn’t bother us much. We are non smokers so didn’t enjoy the smell from other rooms that were clearly smoking in their room but that is a people problem , not sure there is much the hotel can do about this when they clearly have non smoking on all the rooms. We were on level 4 interconnecting 434-435 (2 adults and 3 kids (6,8,11)) we were very happy to be on an outside view room. Breakfast staff were amazing and always looked after us, have to ask for coffee, bacon and butter (can also ask for poached eggs if you want them but there is an egg station) , nothing was too much trouble and enjoyed having a chat with us everyday which was lovely. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for about six hours when our flight home was delayed. For the price I was really impressed with the service and facilities, as well as the room itself. The location was an easy walk to the Discovery Mall and beach. On check-out the front desk clerk was able to arrange a car to take us to the airport immediately (for a fee) so we didn’t even have to worry about getting a taxi.

The pandemic shut-down has unfortunately had a negative impact on the condition of the hotel, simply because there weren't staff cleaning the rooms as regularly as would normally have been the case. Hopefully, as more tourists return, the property will be returned to its original condition.

So the hotel was nice and clean and in a good spot...however, the hotels communications was lousy. I emailed them about getting transport for pickup for 70000IDR as stated on their site from the airport, and then messaged them on facebook both with no answers until after I had arrived and been there for a few days. They stated then that transport was now updated to 200 000IDR. Also on their site, it said to email them the day before but clearly that wouldnt have made a difference. It cost me not only the time, the heat from the airport, and aggravation of trying to find transport after my flight and a lot of walking around to get to immigration and baggage check, but also the high cost of 350 000IDR to get to the hotel when the most it wouldve been by Bluebird cabs wouldve been under 50 000IDR as everything has changed at the airport with no cab rank there like before.
When checking in, I was told it was with breakfast and when I went down the next morning, I double checked to be told it wasnt with breakfast so I cant comment on their food.
My room was really nice, good aircon, but I was woken every morning between 6am to 6.30am with whoever was in the room above me being there would stomp around every bloody morning. I did mention that to the staff hoping they might move me if possible but again, never heard back so no rest for me which is why I went.
The one thing they did do was let me be there an extra hour as my flight was changed, and that was very much appreciated.

I like the location of the hotel and 5 years ago we stayed there and it was great. But this time it was like a different hotel. The breakfast was monotonous and the staff were happy to stand around and do nothing, every morning i had to search for cutlery. Our toilet in room smelt like a urinal and cleaning was mediocre. I won't be going back which is disappointing because i loved it last time.

The staff at Bintang Kuta Hotel were very warm and friendly. The Hotel was perfectly located in Kuta, only 4 minutes away from the airport, yet near the heart of the nightlife & shopping; and away enough to remain quiet. We had access to the resort section which was located on the same property. We had an issue the first night with our room, but the staff response was immediate. We were able to change room and still given one with a pool view. The property was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good with many choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

its very convenient to all the shopping malls

what i dont like is that many people smoking near the pool area

the sink near the toilet of females is everyday chocked

the staff are friendly especially mr. jiawati and the superb impromptu reply of Maylanie from front desk

our room is for non smoking area unfortunately our room smells cigarette all the time that we enter

they did not ask for any deposit thats what i like about it.

for people who like party and what to do shopping bintang kuta is a great place

but if you want to chill relax i suggest you stay in ubud area or sanur:)

Nice Hotel!

The hotel is in a central location in Kuta just a few minutes walk to 2 shopping centres and 5mins to the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable for the price, and the 42” lcd was a nice touch. Buffet breakfast was pretty decent and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The property was in a good location and convenient to amenities. I was disappointed in management however for not showing some leniency when it came to my request for a late checkout. Considering that due to no fault of my own, my flight was delayed and I was unable to stay my first night in the hotel. However, overall it was a satisfactory stay here.

Nice hotel, Excellent staff and service. Very good breakfast included. The best feature for us was a free use of sister Bintang beach resort facilities. Short walk to Kuta centre. Beach protected, suitable for kids and non svimers, calm seas. Surfing beaches short walk away. This hotel was recommended to me by friend and I can recommend it to you. Will not be disappointed

A very convenient hotel for everything

We have stayed a number of times at the Bintang Kuta, each time has been really enjoyable.
The staff are really helpful.
Situated between the two big shopping malls, it is in a really good position, and being able to use the facilities at the Ramada Bintang is a bonus.

An enjoyable stay away from the bustle of central Kuta but within easy walking distance.
Rooms are spacious but no balconies.Limited drying facilities.
Staff are excellent.
The hotel appeals to Chinese and families with children which can be noisy at times. The corridors could do with some sound deadening.
Breakfast is more than adequate.
Plenty to do in the immediate area.
There is the added advantage of being able to use the facilities of the 5 star Ramada hotel next door with a far nicer pool.
Overall a pleasant stay. You get what you pay for.

I stayed here for a short transit and was happy with the room in general: spacey and clean. I checked out just before 10 pm and went to the airport, just to find out that my flight was cancelled due to the volcano activity. A call to Bintang confirmed that I was welcomed to go back to my room and stayed there for the night. No fuss, no extra charge...and this what makes Bintang set apart. Thanks Bintang Kuta.

Another great stay at the Bintang Kuta. Been here on a few occasions, the staff are really friendly, super helpful etc
Breakfast is great with personalised service for eggs and coffee and once the staff know your preference they remember it! How's that for old fashioned service! Something a few of us Aussies could do with a brush up on. No sulky, phone obsessed staff here!
Pool is great and you can go next door to use the Ramada Bintang pool also on the beach.
All in all another great stay

Good but too noisy
