Staff were very friendly! The venue is a bit out dated, no drawers in the room, so. No where for you to keep your clothes except for a tiny amount of hanging space. But no real modern room amenities. The bed was a bit hard, but spacious. Room cleaning service would be knocking early hours of the morning while I was still in bed to clean my room! That wasn’t great! They woke me up a couple of times. When I put out a do not disturb sign they would call me to make sure I didn’t need a clean? I was told they charge for water in the room! I didn’t use their water I purchased my own. Food Room Service was amazing the food was fantastic and I really enjoyed that! The location is awesome..

We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel - it has a good feel to it, is clean and the breakfast was more than adequate. We did not swim but noticed it was kept very clean!
The bed was comfortable - it was on the firm side so maybe a mattress topper to soften it up a bit would be an amazing plus to the hotel

Food is great and well priced. X2 welcome drinks.
Pool is really nice and I've used it while waiting for check-in.
Staff are wonderfully friendly and professtional.
Breakfast is fabulous with lots of options, I love the traditional pandan pancakes filled with coconut and brown sugar, and little tapioca balls with freshly grated coconut as a little surprize. Chef with stand and make omelettes or scrambled egg. Lattes fabulous and creamy.

This is a great area, pool is cold if you like that they had a great pool area for kids if you have any. Staff great. Streets around the area great for food and shopping but…there is a religious thing near by that is very noisy and more than once a day.
Some maintenance needed as most hotels in Bali.

Staffs were courteous and friendly and attented to request promptly.Stayed for 5 nights with breakfast.Buffet breakfasts were 90% same for the 5 mornings. Requested packed breakfast for 1 person for 3 of the mornings as he has to leave hotel before breakfast was ready. Packed breakfast could only be 2 slides of bread with jam/butter, a cake and an egg; nothing from buffet even when we paid for the buffet.Water pressure for shower was extremely low.Music was played at corridors from 7am throughout the day and could b heard clearly in the room; couldn’t get any sleep after 7am.During raining nights, rain could be heard dropping on zinc roof and shelter; sound like somebody knocking the wall throughout the night.Talk from next room and along corridor could be heard clearly. On some morning, there were tour group taking breakfast and there were not enough tables and chairs. Frequently there were no place for car parking or proper drop -off and one had to alight from car risking been knock down by on coming traffic; should reserve 1 carpark lot space for drop off.

Stayed from 2-930pm as we had a red eye flight back to Australia and had been staying in canggu and uluwatu for most of our 1 month trip.
The hotel exceeded my expectations. Staff were lovely and helpful, pool was refreshing and very clean with many sun lounges and day beds with a bar. Room was comfortable and clean but had a very very strong mould smell. The bed was extremely clean and comfortable. Fridge in room was handy and they also had a kettle with coffee and tea. They supplied 2 small waters which was great. Had a tv that had movie channels. Wifi in room was very slow or non existent but near pool and reception was strong was that was ok. Overall I was happy with it for the cost and close to the airport. They even gave us early check in by 30 mins which was great.

We were just using this room between checking out of our villa and waiting for our plane departure. We arrived at 1.40pm and were told no check in until 2pm still no room at 2.40pm. We did get a room which seemed smaller than what we had booked, very small, no safe but nice and clean. Anyway I think they got their monies worth for our 5 hour stay.

The male staff at reception seem to enjoy subtle racism. The aircon was horrible. 16 degrees aircon seemed like 28 degrees. Room was changed after complaining thrice. Each time i was told aircon is working fine and has been checked. Overall i would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Its a claustrophobic room with staff showing utter disregard towards people of colour. The location of the property is good. The staff was courteous and helpful excluding all the male staff at the reception and operator services.

Close to beach and shopping malls (walking distance). Lots of shops nearby and rooms are clean. Spa is alright for the price offered (there's 15% discount for in-house guests) but there are other options available outside. Transportation is easy by GoJek but not many knows the hotel as it's entrance is easily missed (like a shophouse).

A nice hotel but not sure I'd stay there again. Air con wasn't very efficient and vent is falling out of the wall. Pool was disappointing. Very limited room service/pool menu. Buffet breakfast didn't have much of a selection and although we paid for it up front we only ate there twice. Im not a fussy eater either. The couple of problems we had with our rooms were attended to immediately and fixed e.g. blocked bathroom sink. The staff are lovely and ever so helpful and accommodating.

Grand Ixora is a wonderful hotel, great location, clean, the breakfast is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. They provide two bottles of water every day which is very nice too. The hotel's location is really good, walking distance to Kuta beach and shopping centres. Definitely recommend!

Location is good. The set up of the hotel is not good, as the pool is in the centre of the hotel, so the noise in the pool just echos up the building.
The restaurant is not big enough to seat all the people at the hotel, they had to set up tables in the hotel foyer, which did not look good.
Most of the clientele there were Indian.

Lovely hotel with nice spacious rooms and nice pool area. The only negative was that the drain in our shower had a bad smell coming out of it when the water was running. The mattress is very firm which will not suit all guests. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Location is good - probably a bit far from the excitement of Kuta beach but it suited us as it was quiet at night. Overall a pleasant stay.

Good location, not great. Good staff - polite and helpful. Bathroom smells of sewer, especially when showering. It gets so overpowering once you turn the shower on. Staff said would look into it. I only stayed a night so I couldn't be bothered to switch rooms. Mosquitos in the room. You can hear the noise from other guests who are at the corridor and also through the walls - even if they are just talking normally. Unfortunately for me, my neighbour had a baby who kept crying. Average breakfast. Overall, for the normal price of $30 a room, you get what you pay for.

It’s fine if you get a cheap deal but it’s rather 2-star hotel standard. Clean and modern room, no issues with that apart from not very good noice isolation. Very basic facilities. The restaurant is really poor and breakfast bad.

I was stuck in Bali recently due to the volcanic ash so had to find alternative accommodation as my current one was pricey and I had no idea how long I would be staying. This hotel looked nice from the photos, however once I checked in and went up to my room I was horrified! The room was filthy, long black hair all over the floor, I counted at least 10 plus more in the bathroom! When I pulled back the sheets I was even more disgusted, there was a big yellow stain in the middle of the bed, it looked like a wee stain! I had 2 twin beds in the room so I pulled back the covers on the other bed... and yep, more stains! I called reception straight away and told them, they sent up the manager and when I showed him, he gasped and covers his mouth apologizing. I demanded another room. I went down stairs and waited about 5 minutes before being given another room key, it was to the room next door. Again I checked the floor, this room looked cleaner however when I pulled back the covers, again more stains on them!! I can tell when sheets are fresh, and these were not. luckily the manager was still on the level and again I showed him... I said I will stay in the room but I want to see you put fresh sheets on. I watched as he did, but wish I hadn't as the mattress topper was all yellow, the pillows were all yellow... I stayed only 1 night in this hotel and couldn't check out quick enough in the morning! Thank fully I was able to get out of Bali the next day on a relief flight.

Not for young families or the elderly. Breakfast selection is limited to Indonesian food and a few western items which are repeated daily. Rooms are tired and housekeeping is not up to scratch - we had to constantly ask for fresh towels for our toddler and for new sheets. Smokers everywhere, from corridors to check-in lobby to public areas to poolside to restaurant. Disgusting. For some reason our rooms kept locking us out, electricity was disconnected and air conditioning had to be fixed twice. The front office staff were rude when we asked for two of our rooms to be moved closer and the night auditor/manager was kind enough to have a chat with us. Still our request was not considered during the 10 nights we had booked. Staff did not seem to enjoy their work and had hung gloomy faces floating around. Very obvious that little was being to support training. Steer clear off this motel.

Everything about this hotel was fantastic, wifi is fast, breakfast has a good range of foods, bar and pool are comfy and relaxing.

Book through expidia or other websites as prices to extend stay into the peak season vary dramatically at the hotel desk.

We have rebooked for a visit at the end of our stay.

Room is small (I chose king size bed and assuming the room will be big enough for 2 people and comfortable)
Some of the staff are not friendly.
The water in the swimming pool is not clean (experience this during our first night in the hotel) 2nd and third night we chose to stay in the room. However, in terms of location wise, it is good. U can just walk to mearby shops and restaurants. And our room has a balcony. I like it because u can breathe fresh air in the morning and u could see people who are swimming in the pool from ur room! And also there's a live band at night in the hotel which i think that makes the hotel looks lively at night.

Doesn't take long to get from Airport to the Hotel. Friendly staff at reception for a quick check in and a refreshing cool fruit drink. variety of food at breakfast, Rooms clean, and well serviced everyday. Always plenty of room at poolside, some days you may have the pool to your self. The staff are always attentive and quick to respond to any needs. and go out of there way to make you feel special. Just spent three weeks at this hotel and would do it again.

We didn't manage to explore much of the hotel surroundings . It was accessible to Malls n spa . Good rate for such clean hotel .
I received a rude awakening early in morning for my laundry delivery n the house keeping insisted I paid cash at that moment . I kept repeating that I would pay during check out . As my room mate was still sleeping and I needed light to take money n I just woke up too .
The Aircon was warm n the room key wasn't working upon receiving it from Recep.

Nice hotel great location especially for waterbom

We had a lovely stay. The only most staff were not good at all with English they catered more for the large amount of Asian tourist. Even the food was more Asian than traditional Bali foods.
We booked into attend the bbq night we found very disappointing expected some bbq meats but was only sausage on stick and corn basically.
Having said that still would recommend and would return to stay there again in a heartbeat.

We have stayed here a few times and the staff are great. The rooms are beginning to wear a little. The shower head in one room was almost blocked and our next room the bathroom floor flooded every time you had a shower. The breakfast used to be Western and Asian but is now 90% Asian. OK if you like rice for breakfast.

Good bargain

This is my third stay at Grand Ixora. As always, it ius my best bet against other hotel. The price is reasonable, clean, friendly just the resto is small. However, plenty of eating places around, minimarket, even mall within 1 min walking distance. The location is really convenience. Thank you Grand Ixora for being my fav hotel in kuta. Success.

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel

The hotel stay was really pleasant. Very cooperating staff. Room Service was good. The pool was well maintained. Locality is in a busy area. Very near to malls. So if you are looking for secluded place, this is not the hotel. Another advantage is that this hotel is very near to the airport.The rooms are a bit small though.

A hotel though, not much a resort.

The stay was a pleasant one. The environment surrounding the hotel was quite an immersive experience as there are so much places to explore and food venture was less of a hassle. The staff was helpful and have a very friendly and pleasant appearance. They have been patient throughout our stay and with all the help requested, they have diligently applied their best service.
