Staff at front desk really good and helpful.

Only thing the restaurant was slow they took about an hour to get meals . There was only one other table.

Could understand if was a busy time .

The resort was okay on the outside, but our room was not particularly well maintained;
The doors onto the patio could not be locked at all.
The vanity basin in the bathroom wasn't attached to the vanity top at all at one end.
The grouting around the bath looked like a monkey had done it (albeit a reasonably clever monkey).
The TV had poor reception with interference lines through the picture, despite fruitless efforts by staff to remedy it.
The bed linen didn't fit the bed properly.
There was often a faint smell of sewerage in the bathroom.

The pool was nice, and was kept very clean. However, there were only a few sun loungers available around the pool due to space constraints.

The staff were all very friendly, and we couldn't find fault with them.

We thought that a resort under the Best Western umbrella would have been maintained to a higher standard.

Despite these issues, we still felt that the resort offered average value for money, as breakfast was included in the room rate.

Special shout out to the GM Ivan, also Mr. Pande and Ms. Satya who constantly sought for feedback from customers and we’d seen instant changes and improvements during the several day stay. Property photos are different from what is shown online. There were mosquitoes in the room. Bed sheets were not clean, there were stains on the sofas, etc. Didn’t look into bathroom.

We just checked-in, searched for another hotel and checked-out within an hour.

What a disappointing hotel. Staff were less than friendly and helpful. Sheets in 3 or of the 4 rooms were dirty. Bathroom was not cleaned in one bedroom. Was told breakfast was going to cost 75k every morning upon arriving for first breakfast was tired to be charge 10k staff member was argumentative and then food was not restocked on the buffet. Stayed one nbight and left. Would never stay again or recomend this place

Really bad experience

Rain water as leaking in the middle of the night. I Asked the reception people to change my room .Initially they said can u adjust for this night and they will change the room.I said no then they give me another room in the third floor no one supported to carry my things it was 5 bags I carry myself. Then I accidentally booked for six days they only cleaned my room once.very bad WiFi I compliant 4 times no response. Pool is good. Breakfast is good. Rest was atrocious. I won't recommend for any one.

Horrible experience. Overall my holiday is spoiled because of my stay here. Do not recommend to any even if it's a last options. Hotel receptionist are not friendly, not helpful and rude to customer. Don't be surprised if the receptionist yelled or scream at you. Basically they will not look into your request if you do not ring them more thn 5 or 6 times. They provide dirty towels in room and some room don't even have towels. Upon requesting no one even turn up, unless you are willing to walk to the receptionist. Aircond is not working!! Horrible breakfast! Overall it is nightmare!! Do not get impressed with the pictures posted. You will regret choosing this hotel!!!!!

Comfotable hotel away from the noise

This hotel is located about 2ms from the heart of Kuta Beach. It was quiet and clean with a large clean swimming pool. Staff were very friendly and always willing to help if asked. Taxis were caled for us when required and free transport give to airport prior to 10pm if you arranged with reception. If returning to Bali at any time we would definitely stay here again.

when we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady and a welcome drink, the check in process seemed quick and easy. We booked to stay for a week as a treat after backpacking for a long time and celebrating our anniversary. After the first day we came to realise our door was not locking behind us, we complained and a member of staff came up but instead of moving us he spent two hours hammering and drilling it whilst we had to sit around as we didn't want to leave our room open with all of our belongings! I eventually requested moving rooms. We were moved to one without a bathtub or fridge, so requested to move again, which we did. Then we realised our new room had no hot water. We complained in the evening and waited till the following morning to hear from them but still hadn't, after hours of waiting for them to check it and fix it we had to move again! By now we were fed up of moving. More things came up after this also but eventually we were offered a lovely room by the pool for the rest of our stay for all the inconveniences! This room was beautiful and we spent the rest of the week able to relax and enjoy! The room and bathtub was such a luxury for us! Big and very deep pool, huge variety breakfast and most of the staff were helpful. Not in the best location but ok if you don't mind a walk. If you can, get an upgrade to the pool side rooms, they were much nicer! Be careful with airport transfers too, one staff says different to another and almost missed our flight!

The staff were very good, but it's an aging hotel. It was ok value for money, but if you look around you can get newer places in a similar location for the same price. Wifi was pretty patchy and the breakfast selection was luke warm which always makes me a little nervous. One thing that is super annoying is that the shower was only handheld (first world problems)....
Got questioned twice as to weather I had paid, when it's 2am and you're showing a receipt is never really welcome.
It was ok, but I won't be booking in again.

Hotel was good and the staff were polite. The bathroom needed an update and was just okay. The room was clean and large and we were comfortable. Had a large pleasant dining area and the breakfast was good. It also boasts a fine swimming pool which we never got the time to enjoy.
The courtesy car from the airport was a real plus.
I would stay there again, just a pity it's not in a better area but if it were it would probably cost a lot more to stay.

I didn't like my stay there at all I arrived there at 11 at night I had to ask for a remote control for a/c that didn't cool the room down a fridge for my room I slept ever night on top of the bed as I was there for 5 nights and didn't get the sheets changed at all I had to get new batteries for the door to lock room also the TVs control needed new batteries breakfast was very Asian eggs and cereals where the only western thing in the warmer trays my toilet and shower was never cleaned either I don't like the key card system as you pull it out no power you come back to room after being out in the heat to a hot room would never recommend or stay there again

A quite spot good for those who want to spend time

A good place for relax n bfast is ok!!! Only if want to go beach have a bit problem though it takes abt 30 mins to go by walking of course! Good service cos a shuttle is provided to the airport!!! Stayed 1 week in this hotel in April 2014. Was given a room at 2nd floor but upgraded to ground floor room because the first room given was next to an under construction room which causes a big noise very early in the morning. Once we change room everything was smooth and it was a pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and very well accommodating. there was one time we requested a very early breakfast at 4am and they did excellent job by sending all the foods to our room exactly on time. speaking about food, we really enjoyed the breakfast here. they served different menu everyday. There are couple of 24hour groceries store right in front of the hotel which is really convenient if u need something in the middle of the night. We enjoyed the pool and but too bad we didn't try the in house spa. Overall if you don't mind walking at least 10minutes to the town center then this hotel is a good and reasonable choice to stay.

Best Western Resort Kuta Bali

The stay at the hotel was disappointing. I have never spent this much time at a hotel dealing with reception.

1. Our pick up was delayed by 2 hours and we were told it was a traffic jam. The hotels is 5 mins away from airport and on my way back there was traffic but not something that would take 2 hours for someone to reach.

2. Ask for adjoining rooms did not get that.

3. When I book the hotel through expedia, they called and checked that we had 2 way airport transfer. On arrival we were told it was only one way.

4. Kettle leaking in room, bed linen had stains and did not look very clean, no bar fridge

5. Wanted to go on a day tour. Hotel said to book a day in advance. When we went to reception, they said you cant book a day in advance so had to book through someone else.

6. Room key not working and only one key per room which restricted movement in and out of the room.

7. Hotel promised shuttle to discovery mall which is the main street in kuta. We were told that on days of heavy traffic, there is no shuttle as it takes 2 hours to reach the mall which is only 5 mins away. Upon insisting, they agreed to drop us and there was no traffic and it did not take 2 hours... just 5 mins. However, they were not willing to pick us up. So much so for the shuttle that operates every 2 hours. You either take a taxi or walk. You are better off staying at Jln Kartika Plaza or Jln Pantai. Better hotels there.

Personally, it was a very disappointing stay.

It started with the first day. The pics were taken so meticulously that we fell for it. The swimming pool was dirty and broken. The breakfast was horrible with staff taking no pain to refill the empty food baskets. We had to request everyday to refill stuff. The room air conditioner didn't work at all and when we complained about it, they said that because of warm weather air conditioner is not working properly. The mini bar in the room didn't work either. They said all the mini bars of the hotel doesn't work. The shower area didnt have proper water outlet and there used to pool of water while taking bath. When we complaied about it the staff transferred us to superior room for last night. I will not recommend this hotel as it's not worth the money.

Bed linen stained; could only get out of bed on one side as it was against the wall. Room in poor condition, renovation is well overdue. Restocking of food and plates etc at breakfast was very tardy; food quality variable. Very noisy from the pool area until well after midnight some nights. Door bells from other rooms were a constant nuisance each night. Definitely wouldn't stay again.

This was our first time at Best Western and we have recommended it to others. The buffet breakfast was amazing, catering for every taste, and filled us for the whole day. The location suited us perfectly, just far enough away from the Kuta main shopping district to walk there with ease, but tucked away from the tourist hustle and bustle. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive to our every need and we are definitely staying here again.

We had to ask several days for toilet paper, water, towels. Breakfast was nice although service was slow. Filling the hot food servers was not a high priority and people had to keep asking for things including glasses and plates. Pool needs repairs. Air conditioning was poor in a lot of the rooms although our room was great people we travelled ith had to change rooms twice. Staff was very nice. After eight visits to Bali this would be the most disappointing hotel we have stayed at.

Best western overall is a nice hotel, great helpfull staff, well maintained publis areas, great food and floors are serviced by an elevator. We chose this hotel to start our trip. It is close to discovery mall and waterbom park which we could see from our room window. Negatives- our airconditioning did not work well and took a long time to cool the room. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was filthy with dust and had not been cleaned in a long time, it was over the toilet and the dust was falling out of the fan. The hotel is located on very narrow lanes and with the traffic is dangerous at night as there are no footpaths.

only negative here was the location..I had read this elsewhere but was unfamiliar with Bali, so did not appreciate the comments fully, In Bali, there are no driving rules, and the hotel is on a street that is like a video game with the traffic..crossing the street is frightening, as it is on a curve so you cannot see the oncoming traffic. Otherwise it was wonderful!
